PREZ pretty self-expanatory. she's snu student council president, thus the students of snu calls her this.

CHEONS suha thinks it's just a play in her name. from jeon to jeons and add a little cute effect of changing it to cheons. meanwhile it actually stood for cheonsa (angel) to younghyun (and strictly younghyun) since he figured her birthdate to be october 4th or 10/04 or 1004 aka cheonsa. it also stood for her disability to say no for those in need.

JOSHUA/SHUA one of the student body member who lived in england most of his life, ahn minhyuk, misheard her name to be joshua and was surprised the president turned out to be a girl and her name wasn't joshua. the name stuck though and the council alternate between suha and shua when calling her.

HER? AAH, SHE'S JEON SUHA. standing at 170 cm and weighing 52 kg, suha's demeanor exudes high intelligence yet someone approachable. she has a warm, peachy skin tone and an oval face. her pink lips are always drawn back into a gentle smile, an eye smile apparent when she smiles from ear to ear. suha has become quite slender and hides a pretty waistline , compared to her younger days, ever since she entered track team in highschool. her hair was cut short as she ran for student body election, the soft and wavy brown locks now only brushes her small shoulder.

FASHION :

PREZ'S CLOSET suha has more skirts than pants in her closet. she only has a couple of short jeans and a fair collection of tights. her style is a mix of casual and preppy. she follows this trend of tucking in front part of the shirts. suha doesn't really wear accessories like earring, necklace, rings or bracelets except for those her parents or boyfriend gave her (those that has sentimental values). Make-up wise, she's not into it but isn't a total noob either. she only wears light, natural looking makeup and doesn't apply too much cologne.

as for stage outfits, suha isn't really sure of what to wear. considering it's a band though, she'd don in a bolder colour palette--like red--and throw her leather jacket that she hasn't worn much (thank god she decided to keep it).

compared to the rigid and ruthless student council presidents that ran before her, jeon suha is a breath of fresh air. while these days people try hard to save themselves first, suha is different. others first, self second. she shows you kindness, giving you her umbrella while she runs home soaking wet. she shows you concern, dropping by your place to see if you've eaten since you may be a workaholic or just recovered from a sickness and drags you to eat with her. she's down-to-earth and accepts you as you are, never judging you at first sights and supports you as long as you stay true to yourself. she gives and gives, but doesn't expect anything in return.

suha is known to be careful and meticulous. she's the type to work then play and have her work done ahead of time. naturally, people find her reliable. she'd always try to keep her promises and not going back from her own words. she makes people want to depend on her knowing that she'll do well. actually, sometimes more than well. her dedication and hard work in keeping promises and being there for her loved ones, even when it may be incovenient (being called out when she's sleeping etc), makes her a loyal individual. if she makes up her mind to be friends with someone, she'll be with them through thick and thin. suha uses her great attention to details also as a tool to get closer to them. she's one to observe others' mood, paying attention to things that makes them happy, sad or angry. she surprises her council members when treating them coffee--giving them their preferable coffee even when they never told her (she knows who doesn't like it sweet and who likes it sweet, etc).

as someone who classifies herself as ambiverted, suha is someone who actually likes to connect with people and at the same time enjoys solitude. she actually has no trouble striking a conversation first and is an avid listener. thus, she does have quite an amount of friends, especially since she's the student council president. suha can be really talkative once her interest is piqued. she'll turn into some sort of question generator if she's curious. she's the type who can't hold back questions for long. the moment they let her ask, it'll sometimes give birth to more questions and make the other weary from her many, many questions.

while being student council president, suha never sees herself as someone of high stature. through every success she led them through, she'd never take credit for herself and will always say it was because of everyone's hard work. people say she's humble--and she is--but it's mostly because she often feels that she could do better that she downplays her success. because of the high standards she put on herself, she sometimes has trouble in gathering confidence in something she knows little in.

meticulous and often putting up high standards, suha appears to be a perfectionist. she knows well there's not such thing as perfect but she strives to get her work done near perfect. thus, she'll sometimes get worked up over details that she misses the big picture. her friends will sometimes get impatient because of this. but nothing infuriates them more than suha being seen as a pushover. her consideration towards others tend to be much greater than towards herself that some takes advantage of her. she also tend feel responsible and work hard to help others, overloading herself with work, that she'd forget to take care of her own needs.

even if she feels used, she rarely express it. albeit, she rarely express the things that bother her. since the absence of her mother, she developed the habit of acting perfectly fine as to not worry her dad. her tendency to protect her feelings sometimes take a toll on her, frustrating herself. but if she does express herself (often saying things she doesn't mean and avoiding people) and get into conflicts, she'd often take it personal. it'll be hard for her to forget and it may affect her professionality--since she has trouble separating personal and impersonal lives.

suha has been living most of her life with her father, jeon woojin and her aunt, jeon sujin. her mother, jung areum, an aspiring architect and music lover, passed away battling cancer when suha was around seven years old. being so young back then, suha vaguely remember her amazing voice, their very last trip to the beach and her pale complexion on her last days. the family moved from incheon to seoul a few months after her mother's passing, her father wanting a new start and get back on his feet for suha's sake. her aunt who's older by 12 years joined to study in seoul. the three lived together since.

without a mother figure, growing up would've been hard. but woojin, a warm and laidback dad, and sister-like aunt sujin, never fails to be there for her. suha grew up independent, learning making her own snacks (something as simple as sandwiches) and often confiding to the elders if she can't solve her problems after a few tries. she also became a split image of her mother.

the girl inherited her mother's selfless trait and voice, always surprising woojin when she sings. even her music teacher sees potential in her voice that she signed suha up for contests. she won a few and brought home awards. however, it brought a few jealous glances and undirect sneers from her friends who dreams of becoming a singer. noticing this, she acted as if her voice isn't as good as others and backed down from other contests her teacher signed her up to. since then she hasn't been singing infront of public and despite her casual singing practice in karaoke and at home, acting not good at it has become a habit and officially one of the things she felt insecure about. soon enough, she didn't mind as singing wasn't actually something she'd seriously pursue. suha has had her dreams of becoming an architect like her mother and continuing her mother's ideals--designing better houses in which a family can live in.

suha came closer to her dream as she got accepted into snu with architecture as her major. she also became involved in the council--soon elected as student body president. she heard of autotelic through the word of mouth and attended one of their gigs as suha realized their bassist was a friend--yoon hyeon. their music was her cup of tea. it was what brought her to be a fan. at first, she kept tabs on them but as they had a change of bassist, plus suha became busier with her new duties as president, she hadn't seen them perform as much until their disbandment.

what she didn't expect was sungjin, standing outside the karaoke place she frequents, waiting for her to come out and tried to recruit her as a vocalist for autotelic. turns out he heard her sing and thought her voice will be perfect for a reformed autotelic. at first she refused but sungjin insisted for her to give it a try. they met the next day--with hyeon, already confirmed for bassist, and the drummer. sungjin suggested they play for a bit while suha relunctantly joined in with her voice. by sungjin's satisfied grin--the drummer's excited drum roll and hyeon's 'as expected' expression--at the end of the song, she knew he's decided that suha has to join. after a couple of sleepless nights, suha agreed--mainly thinking she wouldn't be in the band for long until they find a replacement, like they did with hyeon last time. she didn't tell anyone--not even her vice president, knowing what he'll say. thanks to that, the university shook and a certain bassist's presence became much more noticeable.

MAJOR suha's major is architecture, for reasons mentioned above.
VOICE   her voice has a husky edge to it and can pretty much hit high notes. (voice reference: lovelyz's sujeong ♬, mamamoo's wheein ♫, apink's namjoo ♬ & ♫, dreamcatcher's siyeon ♬ & ♫).
TRACK AND FIELDS   she was in the track and fields club in high school, thus she's pretty quick on her feet--literally. she was also their captain. suha goes jogging every now and then.
SONG GUIDES   her aunt, part of a music producer team, had dragged her into the recording booth once or twice to record guides for music. that's also how she met hyeon.
FOOD FIGHTER   suha loves to eat. she's also one to try new food (she'd be stopping at every food sampling spot in the supermarket) and often buys snacks for student council meetings.
SPICY FOOD   suha has this condition that if a food is really spicy, she starts to hiccup. it doesn't stop her from eating it though.
EGG WHITES & SUGARY FOOD   she out of all the food she's eaten, dislikes egg whites. she doesn't really like food that's too sweet either.
KARAOKE   it actually started with her dad. whenever he misses her mother, he'll be singing her favorite songs in a karaoke booth. they do this on her death anniversary too, before they go home and prepare for her death anniversary ceremony. suha still goes to karaoke if she's really down and missing her mother became uncontained.
DOODLES   suha has a habit of doodling on her hand. if she's bored or starts to nod off in class, she'd doodle on her left wrist. the doodle comes in little stars, a moon, pawprints or a cat's face. snu students have probably seen a few clubs with a distict feature of a cat at the edge of their flyers--yes, that's been drawn by suha.
MUSIC suha only remembers things from her music class--in middle school. thus, she's a total noob when it comes to reading music. she'd always go to bed thinking if it really was okay being in a band while knowing little about it.
MY JAM suha is an avid fan of local indies and bands. to name a few: nell, 10cm, standing egg, bolbbalgan4, day6, the rose, cn blue, ft island--oh, autotelic. she'd listen to english songs too: paramore, the script, maroon 5 and cold play are the band she listens to most.
LIQUOR   she can hold her liquor pretty well. she'd always be the one sending people home or get them into taxis.
LIVING CONDITIONS   suha lives in the dorms at the moment because her home's quite far from campus and she's busy with council agendas. she comes home once a week--either sunday or monday--when her schedule's a bit free. she doesn't have a roommate atm.
BEACHES   since it was her last happy memory of her healthy mom, she'd get pretty sentimental when visiting the beach.
LOVE LIFE   she dated once in high school, but it wasn't really serious. they parted nearing graduation and stayed friends. although she hasn't heard from him a lot now.
MAROON, BLACK, CORAL are her favourite colours.

PHONE CALLS   suha prefers text messages over phone calls. but if you text her and ask if it's okay to call, she'll pick up immediately.
MEMORY   memorizing things is one of her forte. so don't be surprised if you can remember but she does--even if she wasn't suppose to memorize it.
RED EARS   her ears get really red if she's embarassed. it's one of her feature that kang younghyun, bloomfield's bassist, keeps teasing her about.

MOVIES   contrary to what people believes, she actually loves watching action, thriller, and mystery movies compared to romance and comedy. note that if she watches melodrama--she's feeling stuffed inside, thus, she'll watch it so people think that she cried because of it.
TUTORING   she's currently tutoring a few high school kids to not burden her father or her aunt for pocket money.

forever her hero, woojin has juggled the role of a mom and dad for her. not that he's any good at cooking after all that. it didn't make suha love him less, though. he's her sanctuary when things got hard and she needed someone. he's laid-back yet overprotective of her. woojin was relunctant of letting her live in the dorms and offered to buy her a car. but suha refused and promised to come home once a week. he tries hard to not be a helicopter dad by checking in on her once a day.

her newly engaged aunt is like a sister to suha. albeit with the same first syllabel for their given names, she might as well be one. sujin is suha's energizer and her diary. things she can't say to her dad, suha tells her all. sujin had always loved suha's voice and had hinted once or twice that suha should pursue music-- often, dragging her to record a few guides--but suha had her dreams fixed.

he's sarcastic and ruthless. people wondered why he's even part of the council. but suha showed them why. he's suha's secret weapon, her strongest reinforcement. together, they're an incredible duo despite their differences. suha leads with her selfless trait, putting people first and be their ears while sehun back her up with his skills in negotiation and reasoning. sehun often scolds her for being too soft when people asks for her to make their ideals come true and if she gets into trouble. he filters the students wishes, making sure the realistic (and reasonable) ones are on their to-do list. he's never attuned to suha's spontaneous ways. you can say he had a heart-attack the moment she announced she joined a band--partly because she looked beautiful with her stage outfit--whoops, yes, he has a slight crush on her--and partly in shock because she joined a band.

introverted yet on a confident side. suha can always rely on sodam to get every letters, reports or any other things that needs to be documented. sodam's the fastest writer suha has ever met. they've been best friends ever since their highschool years and is one of a few who doesn't get surprised by her spontaneous antics. when suha ran for president, she signed up for secretary position. suha likes to confide in her when it's out of council matters. (sehun refers to their girl talk as alien talks since he never understands what they talked about.)

the sunbae who's got a little more money than the richest student in hwanggeum uni in his pocket. minhyuk (or david, as he lived abroad for almost all his life) was supposed to be a business student, but he rebelled against his chaebol heir blood to be a forensic science student. suha admired that daring trait in him. but it seems money likes him too much that he was appointed treasurer. okay, lies. despite being a little rebellious, minhyuk is a really trustworthy and loyal person. suha becomes bolder when she knows minhyuk has her back. he's always one to back suha to bring the member's hopes up and hops on board with suha's plans.

AUTOTELIC SQUAD + OTHERS

they first met at snu's preparation for orientation week. suha was a commitee and sungjin, with autotelic, had scored the gig. they've exchanged a few words but it was all a matter of business--and, uh, artist x fan relationship. until he approached suha to recruit her as autotelic's lead vocalist. they're getting along quite well, at first both cautious and formal but soon got comfortable (i thought as both empaths, they'd be careful of the others' feelings uwu).

truth be told, suha had a crush on him in freshman year. it was that simple and lighthearted type of crush. observed from afar, she thought of him as a nice guy and she liked his noticeable dedication to autotelic, how meaningful it is for him. the feelings disappeared soon into the year--plus, she had a real crush on his bestfriend--but having had feelings, the attachment will probably develop her devotion to the band as his bandmate and soon-to-be-friend (?).

genius, is her first impression of hyeon. that's probably what people would say if they actually knew he wrote songs that tops the charts. they've known each other since the songs that her aunt needed a guide for was hyeon's song. her interest was triggered when hyeon is said to be a ghost-writer. her curiousity turned into genuine interest to be his friend. hyeon is still rather distant with her, though. despite the fact that suha doesn't really care--since she thinks hyeon is actually a friend worth keeping. hopefully, he'll warm up to her now that they're bandmates.

01 : how is your current relationship with your bandmates?

"so far, we're getting along. everyone is nice--not to mention, very talented," suha answered. she refrained from admitting how she felt out of place at first as someone who's not studying music. it wouldn't matter anyway. she'd put an effort on it and help the band with her voice. "i've known hyeon for quite awhile so it's nice seeing a familiar face. then there's sungjin. we've met a few times before so he's a familiar face, too. but we're not as close yet."

What about with the other band?

a certain bassist popped into her head. suha felt her ears warm up and played with her hair, making sure her red ears are covered. a nervous laugh slipped from her lips. "eo...well, we don't talk much?"

02 : what do you think of the whole rivalry thing?

"i suppose it's normal. there's rivalry everywhere--in class, clubs, business etc." the realistic girl unconciously tapped her fingers in rhythm. she thought of what to say, based on what she felt. "...sungjin really values autotelic, i can feel that. it's just that bloomfield consist of previous autotelic members that things...are tensing up. i haven't got any idea why they disbanded." she straightened up, a thin smile on her face. "but i hope it won't get too ugly."

03 : what is the meaning of the band to you?

suha tilted her head to one side, her eyebrows knitted together as she searched for answers. she hasn't even figured out the real reason she agreed to be in autotelic. she smiled sheepishly, looking apologetic. "it's my bandmates' special something? sorry, it hasn't been long since i joined autotelic--let alone a band. so, can you ask me at the next interview?"

R ude. may be what some will say about kang younghyun at the first glance. from the get-go, younghyun will always show his genuine, straightforward self. he's the most honest (often blunt) and realest person one can meet. what you see is what you get. he has this self-awareness inside him that he doesn't concern himself over being liked and doesn't seek more attention than he already has. he doesn't pretend to be what people want or see him to be. kang younghyun is kang younghyun.

O vershadowed. are some comments about him. younghyun has dedicated his life learning music. he's passionate about it--as he does for everything that he likes doing. and no one would deny it if they paid attention to the fire in his eyes when playing on stage. but in autotelic, sungjin's, yuna's and the other members' presence may have more spotlight than younghyun. it didn't matter to him, though. like a bass, he's the kind of friend who's with you every step of the way. eventhough, he'll likely scold you or fight with you when he thinks you're making a wrong decision--and be the one to tell you , i told you so.

B all of goof. the icebreaker of the former autotelic, younghyun melts tense situations the band went through. equipped with wit, he makes people laugh with his puns and jokes. he's playful and a little bit of a tease, often teasing when his bandmates are sulking, panicking or flirting. it's a sign of affection in a way. often, people get mad since he doesn't seem to take things seriously. he's definitely not taking this rivalry thing too serious. he's also pretty stubborn and once he took his decision, he'll likely go through it till the end. albeit, with his wit and stubborn drive, he'll probably be the one to have the last words in a verbal fight.

IN credibly forward. as in not afraid to show how he feels. despite his playful and teasing ways, he's truly sincere when he talks about his feelings--wearing his heart on his sleeves. if he seems mad, he's actually mad. if he's happy, he has this big grin on his face. and once he's sure enough that he likes someone, he doesn't waste time to initiate conversation and get to know her. about it and he'll openly admit.

LOVE STORY :

WHO'S FAN ARE YOU? • "ya, it's autotelic!" her architecture senior screamed in her ear. jeon suha winced as her right ear rang but didn't let go of the drunk senior as suha guided her out of the meat restaurant. her fellow freshman friends started to turn into their fan mode, too. the band halted infront of them, waiting for them to move from the entrance. "imma fan! ya gays rwack le stayj! sungjin ma man!" her senior drunk complimented the group.

"ah," suha chuckled, looking apologetic."i'm sorry, she's--"

"i'm (drummer's name) fan!" her friends interrupted. the situation took a turn as a mini fan meeting. suha only managed a smile at their excitement, supressing her own excitement. but her senior was starting to get heavy. she went to the edge of the road, hauling a cab. a senior, who's the other's roommate, helped her out and thanked suha for taking care of her roommate. she went back to her friends, fixing her crumpled shirt and hair.

they were all still chit-chatting and squealing when all of a sudden a voice asked, "what about you?" eyes turned to suha. "who's fan are you?"

she pointed to herself, as if unsure the male--kang younghyun, the group's new bassist--was asking her. when he nodded, suha's eyes searched the members until it landed on sungjin. but after a few seconds, she turned to kwon yuna. "kwon yuna-ssi. her voice is amazing."

her friends nods, murmurs of agreement rippling in the group. kang younghyun slung his arm around his bestfriend. "aah," he nodded. suha looked at them, now properly taking a look at sungjin. "i see. yuna's fan."

"...yes," suha said, feeling embarassed all of a sudden when her eyes met sungjin's. the conversation ended after a couple of minutes but suha can't shake the feeling that kang younghyun caught the fleeting look she gave sungjin before she chose yuna.

IT'S CUTE, THOUGH? • they met again when suha was a commitee of the freshman orientation. she was supposed to brief the performing acts one last time before they go on stage. she briefed autotelic--minus younghyun, since he was missing. suha volunteered to search for him because she can't afford having the rest of the band disperse and be late. off she went, searching in places sungjin told her to check. she found him in the quietest and lushiest part of the campus, sitting on the bench with earphones plugged in his ears. suha approached him cautiously--noticing his head hung drowsily. the first thing that crossed her mind was how uncomfortable his sleeping form is.

"kang younghyun-ssi?" she called, tapping on his shoulder. suha came closer, crouching in front of his sleeping form to check if he's awake. his head started to tilt a little to the left. suha bit her lips as she hesitantly reached out to cushion his head. fortunately, he straightened up. "kang younghyun-ssi. you have to be on stage in 10 minutes." (click! scene inspo uwu)

"eung, 5 more minutes," he muttered drowsily. suha stifled a chuckle, moving to his left as his head lolled in the same direction. this time, his head landed on her palm. suha froze. eventhough she meant to catch his head, she didn't think it'd have this much of an effect on her. it was the first time she's this close to younghyun. as the orientation week came close, they've been seeing each other often. his playful ways started to grow on her. but when did it come to the stage of heart-pounding?

suha's thought stopped when she realized younghyun's awake and staring at her. "kang-kang younghyun-ssi!" she stuttered, pulling her hand back and standing upright. "we need to go. your performance is going to start soon."

"really?" he hid an amused smile as he streatched. "you should've let my head hit the bench instead of catching it." suha's ears turned red. she wanted to talk back but her phone rang--a fellow commitee asking her to bring younghyun this instant.

"we have to hurry!" she exclaimed, pulling him up from the bench. "it's starting in 5!" being in track and field club in her high school years, suha began to run way ahead of younghyun. he was surprised at her speed but even more surprised when she came back and grabbed his sleeve, "if you're thinking you want to be fashionably late, think again!"

younghyun chuckled as he let himself being dragged. making a show of cracking his head before he took suha's hand. "try to keep up, red ears!"

"..my ears aren't red," suha breathed out, unconciously touching her ear with her free hand. it was warm.

"are, too," younghyun shot back. he flashed her a smile. "it's cute, though?"

-that night, suha couldn't sleep trying to figure out why younghyun said those words and figuring out her feelings.-

ANOTHER SIDE • their paths only crossed a few times after that--with younghyun flashing a smile her way. suha would be lying if his friendly (and somewhat flirty) didn't do things to her heart. after autotelic disbanded, suha got busy with her assignments and running for president, they haven't met. until younghyun found her in one of the karaoke room he used to frequent with sungjin. he stayed outside listening and in trance by her voice.

suha, who came alone to sing because she missed her mother, had to cover her tear-stained face. out of all people, she had to be caught singing in karaoke alone and crying by kang younghyun. suha tried to distract him by asking what he was doing, initiating small talks. she was relieved when he followed suit by answering--he was having a night out with bloomfield member (kinda like for them to get closer). but when she excused herself, younghyun asked,"have you had dinner?"

when suha shook her head, younghyun asked again,"chimaek, okay?"

for some reason, younghyun seemed worried about her that suha found herself nodding. "...call."

FROM ZERO • a few weeks after they met again, suha decided take autotelic's lead vocalist position. at their first stage, suha noticed younghyun from afar with his bloomfield members. his mixed expression stayed at the back of her mind as she sang. their first stage done, suha prepared herself to be scolded by her vice-prez. although, a visit backstage from younghyun seemed scarier than her vice-prez as autotelic reformed members were all still there.

"i'm glad you pulled autotelic back together again, sungjin," younghyun softly smiled. "...hyeon and noah. i didn't expect to see you, though, cheons."

even though suha can tell he's honestly glad autotelic is reformed, she can't deny the tense atmosphere building as some of the members' misunderstanding the meaning for his visit. "younghyun--"

"hyun, we're leaving," yuna called out from afar.

kang younghyun sighed and shrugged. "that my cue." he excused himself, but not before ruffling suha's hair. "you're garnering fans out there. should i be your fan, too?"

thus, this is where their real story began...as "rivals".

RIVALS? OR..? • as she involved herself with the band and younghyun, suha became anxious. she didn't think rivalry would come out of the two bands. younghyun's frequent presence in her life made her forget about it but looking back to her band members, she's reminded again of how they felt about bloomsfield. she wanted to try to fix it, by getting to know more about younghyun and the previous autotelic. but she's relunctant to ask about it. one thing she'll realize as this progresses, 1) she's becoming fond of autotelic (and loving the freedom of publicly singing again) and 2) kang younghyun has become more than a big crush for her.

A PEEK INSIDE YOUNGHYUN • unknown to suha, younghyun has known her since his high school days. the karaoke place he and suha frequent is owned by his uncle, who practically raised him since his parents are workaholic. suha would come and sing a certain song--coming with her father on march 5th annually. he didn't know her well then--only her name. but he loved her voice. and to his surprise, they met on the street (who's fan are you?). he pretty much noticed she seemed to like sungjin and he let her since it seems like it's between fan x artist type of like. as she joined autotelic however, he became forward even if he doesn't notice it. right now, he thinks suha might've actually liked sungjin for real.
