Currency in Fanfictions

Hello!

So, I have a question, as a reader or an author, if someone was to write or read currency in a fanfic that specifically takes place in Korea, would you write or rather read it in USD or Korean Won? Recently, I came across this when writing and was curious. Also, I didn't really specify what kind of currency I was talking about, would that be okay or should I be more specific? Like I feel that if I leave it vague and just gave numbers, the readers could just imagine it as a big amount.

Any kind of opinion is welcome!

Well it's up to u wut u like but the USD is easier for all the readers to understand. I personally use the USD not because it's ours byt.. well it's easier as I said.

I used USD because the fanfic I'm writing is in English. I just use xe.com for currency exchange for appropriate value.

But you can use whatever you're comfortable and not confused when you write.
