Lycans had lived seperately from humans for centuries, those who had crossed into their territory have been either killed or turned, except for one human who has an immunity to the venom. This human who had crossed over to look for his missing brother but ended up saving a Lycan pup which has caught the attention of the newly crowned King of the Lycan race. The human feels a connection with the king and wishes to learn more about Lycanopia while the king plans to court the human to be his luna and learn about humans in return, these two could be the key to merging the two species together. 

A is a new intern in a facility that studies and experiments on humans that were on death row  or were dying with animal DNA turning them into supersoldiers,  He was particularly fascinated with B a former marine who was paralyzed from the waist down has been infused with Leopard DNA among other serums that restored use of his legs, A spends his free time speaking with B getting to know him behind the cage, along with bandaging his wounds. One night he escapes murdering all the scientist that had tortured and experimented on him except A as repayment for his kindness. The next morning A wakes up to find B sleeping next to him. B now doesn't want to leave A's side.

Human's and Vampires are at odds with each other. A is a gentle half-blood vampire, who doesn't need to drink blood to survive and if he does he only drinks from blood bags or animals. He was shunned by both vampires and humans for his heritage and was attacked one night on his way home and was saved by a pureblood vampire B. B was watching A for a while wishes to court him to be his life mate. 

A is a lone wolf in every sense of the word who works as a bartender, he only has a small group of friends that he trusts with his life but no mate.  One evening he picks up a scent sweeter then anything he's every smell finds it to belong to a new patron he had never seen before.  B was a nerd who had never really been to a bar before had just found out his boyfriend was cheating on him and wanted to drown his sorrows in alcohol where he lays eyes on the most beautiful looking man he had ever seen.
