NOH AEJEONG

NICKNAMES:

NOHA
THE MAIDEN OF SWORDS

Noha is the alias that she took on for herself, after making herself officially known in the Pirate World. Finding the whole naming process to be a drag, she simply decided to use her last name with the first letter of her name, thus creating Noha. (It's the same pronounciation as Noah.)

This is the name that she is most commonly referred to by, and she will introduce herself as Noha majority of the time. Most people don't actually know that her real name is Aejeong, as she reserves that right for the people truly close to her. But, even then, if they do know her real name, it is only used privately.

The title, Maiden of Swords, is the title that Noha garnered throughout the years. She is an extremely skillful fighter, with a talent for swords that is unmatched, save for a few select people.

The people on her crew, as well as others who realize her high rank in the Pirate Community, will occasionally refer to her as Lady Noha or Miss. Noha.

✩
A.J.

A simple nickname used from her real name, Aejeong. This nickname is only used by those who are close enough to Noha to know her real name. So, in this case, the only people who are able to use this nickname are her Uncle and her good friends. Otherwise no one else will call her this name.

✩
LAND BABY

Having been on Sea all her life, Noha is generally inexperienced when it comes to being on land. Or, well, she's not used to it. Being on the sea, on a boat, is her home. And simply standing on land makes her feel weird. Just like a little baby, she's a little wobbly on land.

Well, actually, Noha has been diagnosed with Land sickness, and often has large bouts of dizziness and stress when she's on land for too long. Of course, if it's only for short periods of time, say an hour or two, she'll be fine. Save for some wobbly steps. Anything over that time, she'll start feeling very sick, and has to be carried back to the ship before she ends up vomiting or passing out.

JEONGWOON

If Noha ever disguises herself as a men, she uses the male name, Jeongwoon as her alias. She uses this name simply because it is somewhat similar to her own name.

LANGUAGES SPOKEN:

HWAN / FLUENT
(korean equiv.)

Having been born as Jiā-Hwan, the first language Noha learned was Hwan. Her father, and the other crew members would only speak Korean on Ship -- as on this ship, Hwan was the official language to be used. Hwan was practically the only language that she spoke until she realized that other languages existed.

The Hwan, or Korean, that Noha and her Crew speaks is in the Busan Dialect. However she is also able to speak fluently in the Standard Dialect.

VALGIAN / FLUENT
(english equiv.)

Noha began learning Valgian during her childhood years, as she was being fully introduced to the life that her father was leading. As Valgian is the World-Leading Language, she knew that it was essentially to know the language. Especially when making deals and negotiations with other ethnic groups.

She can switch effortlessly between Valgian and Hwan. Although she very apparently prefers to speak in Hwan.

The Valgian, or English, that Noha speaks is with an American Accent.

✩
FLAUSFETI / MODERATE
(french equiv.)

Noha was able to learn how to speak Flausfeti, as well as read and write at a sufficient level due to the teachings of other crew members on, The Crimson Storm. Her father had been supportive of this, as Flausfeti is a prominent language, and could prove to be useful later on.

While Noha has little care of the language itself, she has to admit that it is a useful skill whenever the crew scopes out Miyuseille or Byggoakdalur. You can hear may dirty secrets that you wouldn't have known otherwise. Her favorite words, like in all languages, are swear words.

✩
INOSHI / BASIC
(japanese equiv.)

Noha was able to grasp a little bit of Inoshi purely because some crew members of her ship, The Crimson Storm, spoke Inoshi. Alongside whenever the ship stopped by an area where Inoshi was a prevalent language. Nevertheless, the most Inoshi she can speak and comprehend are greetings and swear words.

APPEARANCE:

Partly to Noha's dismay and anger, her appearance makes her appear younger and far more innocent than she actually is. Her girlish and pretty appearance often causes her to be 'flirted' by men she has no connection to or new crew mates--as well as being underestimated as being weak.

She has actually voiced her opinion on changing her appearance to appear more 'intimidating' and ruffian-like as a pirate should appear. Unfortunately, her father and close-crew mates opposed vehemently. Because even if they were pirates, she should always stay their, 'Little Girl.' She fake vomited.

She has a small, round face with plump lips, a small nose, and very large almond shaped eyes, and straight eyebrows that are set low on her face. When she was younger the chubbiness of her cheeks was more visible, but now as a 19 year old, her face has gotten more slim and smooth.

Her hair is naturally black and straight, and falls just below her chest. Although currently, she does have brown highlights throughout her raven-colored locks. She has no bangs, and has her hair parted off to the left. Majority of the time her hair is styled straight, with loose waves, or tied up in a ponytail.

Contrary to how she looks at first glance, Noha is actually very muscular and fit -- being more physically strong than any average pirate sailor who is already stronger than an average man. Her figure is built slender and lithely. Essentially, she is naturally built for speed and sleuthing around, despite her taller than average height, but she takes a lot of time to build on her physical strength as well.

Furthermore, Noha does have various piercings and tattoos on her body.

Piercings:

Right Ear: x

Left Ear: x

Tattoos:

 Right Ribs and Back: x | x

This tattoo is reminicent of Noha's mother, as roses were her mother's favorite flowers. Noha's father often told her stories on how he courted her mother with various scavenger hunts with the use of roses as clues. Because of this, she chose to get this rose vine tattoo on her 15th birthday. It is by far her favorite tattoo that she has ever gotten.

✩ Left Upper Arm: x

A simple tattoo that is connected to the end of the winding rose vine tattoo on her back. Believing it to fit well with the overall design, it was added.

Right Foot and Ankle: x

Another simple design that she liked. The design was apart of the embrodery of a paintinger that her father was fond of.

✩ Left Index Fingerx

This tattoo was chosen because Noha absolutely loves the night. Decided to opt for a much smaller and simplier design for this tattoo, she deicded to get an outline of a crescent moon on her left index finger.

FASHION:

Noha loves experimenting with all kinds of clothing, and styles that are found in the different countries. This is especially apparent during the brief times she goes on land with her crew and aren't raiding the place. Majority of the time, however, she wears normal pirate-garb meant for a woman, with a few things here and there to indicate her status.

She does have a variety of different outfits, and will often have a different outfit every few days or so. She often uses the fact that she is still a woman with a sense of style, when the men on her ship ask about it.

Like many, she prefers pants over skirts, loose and over sized shirts, and anything comfortable and casual. While Noha isn't particularly picky about the clothing she wears, she will draw the line at anything that will make her skin itch or irritable. And corsets. While she will wear them if necessary, she hates corsets with a burning passion.

+ In terms of shoes, she often wears normal leather high knee boots. But there are times where she will wear things that are high heeled, and she wears them well.

+ Seeing as she is of the Jiā-Hwan ethnicity, she does have traditional Jiā-Hwan clothing that she wears. This is mainly because her father enjoys seeing her in the traditional dress. As do many of the other men and boys, as it makes her seem pure and refined.

+ As for modesty, she doesn't really care about any of that. But if anything gets weird, with all of the guys around, she will do something about it. And it usually involves swords.

NOHA'S DAILY LIFE:

"Rise and shine, Wenches!"

Being apart of an infamous and notorious Pirate Crew, on top of being the First Mate, Noha's day's are never boring. Just the way she likes them.

Her daily routine consists of her walking up earlier than almost everyone else on board. She is a morning person, and does a morning inspection of the boat, before going down to the sleeping chambers, and yelling out for everyone to wake up and start their days. Noha quite enjoys watching the way the men scramble to their feet or fall out of their hammocks when she does that.

For the rest of the day, she's monitoring the crew, and making sure that everything is clean, and in order. If she's not on deck working directly with the crew, she'll be in her room or the training room, which was specifically made due to her suggestion.

If her room, she'll be found either studying, making plans, reading, or sneaking food in and eating. But majority of her free time is spent in the training room, sparring with other crew members, her good friends, or with dummies. And you better be sure that she left her mark all over that room.

Any other time, she's messing around with her two friends who are crew members of The Crimson Storm, Raylen and Wali. Or she's interacting with her father, or other high ranking members in the crew. She does have a lot of influence.

Noha, herself, doesn't enjoy going on land very much, unless there's a very good reason for it. On land, if she's complaining, she's scouting. Listening in for information, bribing, gambling, and so on.

She does like the bars and taverns on land, some of them are very fun and entertaining to be at. Especially when there's a brawl with music. And she has seduced some men before, but never went farther than that.

In any case, being on The Crimson Storm and the right hand woman to her father, she's always on the mood. She always sees new things, and cannot stay still for too long.

— Noh Aejeong about herself

In short, Noha is someone who has a free spirit, searching endlessly for adventure and knowledge. She rarely, if ever, passes the opportunity to learn or gain something new. And sometimes, the information or skills that she finds aren't used for any planned purpose, she just simply finds it all fascinating. Because of this, Noha has an incredibly flexible mind, being able to switch between ideas or methods with little to no effort at all. As such, she has little to no attachment to any kind of tradition or reprieved way of doing things, causing her to be an unpredictable young lady. And, Noha quite enjoys the shock and surprise on other's faces when they are subject to her unique methods.

While Noha is someone who is flexible and adaptable, that doesn't necessarily mean that she is an easy-going person. She comes off as very assertive and strong, and it's usually (always) her way or the high way. She's merely flexible when it comes to dealing with practical situations, or by bending situations to her own will.

Similarly, she is ridiculously curious for her age, and if she wasn't a pirate with her skill set, she'd probably already be dead with all of the reckless things she does. When it comes to discovering new ideas, she's less interested in brooding over them, and she'd much rather experience it all in person--and she won't hesitate for a moment to go outside of her comfort zone. With a creative and open-minded head, Noha is the kind of person who likes picking things apart one by one. Whether it be mechanically, or mentally. She is quite perspective and observant for her age, after all.

One of Noha's most prominent traits is her unwavering confidence in everything that she does. She is undeniable charismatic, having a way with words and a deadly quick wit. Her confidence, quick wit, and ability to easily put opposing ideas together, create a style of communication that seemingly only Noha can master--being charming, informative, and entertaining all at the same time. And this is even more impressive when you take into account Noha's natural energy and enthusiasm in many things she does, as she has no qualms putting days to even months dedicating to problems.

As a result of her strong communication abilities, she is naturally able to gravitate people towards her. Not in the sense that she is a person who you can talk emotions and personal things to, but someone who you can lean on as a leader, and can make you feel secure in a sense. In either case, she does enjoy both small talk and deep talk -- although her ability to relate to 'deep emotional speeches' is limited, and she often has to act sympathetic. However, she can avoid such talks, by expertly steering conversations to her own desired subjects.

Noha is an intelligent person. While she is somewhat-booksmart-ish concerning the things that are stereotypical, she is more intelligent when it comes to things that Pirates find important, and common sense. Honestly, Noha has incredible street sense, having been taught in questionable but effective ways by her father and crew members. A young girl's mind is very malleable.

Alongside this confidence, Noha has a bold and strong-willed personality, and doesn't get easily embarrassed or swayed from her own ideas and opinions. She simply doesn't have the time, nor wants to give in any effort to actually care about what other people think. She's naturally independent, and does not want to, nor finds any reason, into depending on someone else when she can do it herself. Ironically, the only time she will feel embarrassed is when someone else has to do something for her.  Additionally, Noha is a hard-working and extremely determined young woman. As she is quite comfortable in her own skin, she knows exactly what she wants, and know exactly how she will accomplish that. She is resourceful in her own right, and is willing to resort to less than virtuous methods to get what she wants.

"Honestly. I'm a pretty horrible person. No, I am a horrible person. I have such a terrible personality, and it's honestly a miracle that anyone puts up with me. Then again they are kind of forced to because of who I am. And fear is always an option... Uh... Were you listening to me..? What! Oh, don't you dare mention this to anyone or I will hurt you."

— Noh Aejeong about herself

Evidently, growing up the way that she has, Noha is an insensitive and argumentative person. To Noha, the feelings and emotions come third, compared to facts and her own desires and wants. Emotional charged situations are awkward and uncomfortable affairs for her, and her blunt nature doesn't help. That, or she misjudges the feelings of others, and chooses to push people far past their limits. And in factual arguments or important situations, she doesn't consider emotions to be a valid point. In a similar way, Noha has trouble herself, expressing her own true feelings. Often masking it by fake everything. On the topic of being argumentative, if there's anything that Noha does enjoy, it's debating or arguing with others for the fun of it, or because she actually opposes an idea. Many don't particularly enjoy the vigor that Noha puts into her arguments, as she will unrelentingly tear down any opposing beliefs without a care in the world.

Noha is a stubborn, ambitious, and defiant young lady. She refuses to be boxed in by any rules, and only caves in to those who she truly respects--a very difficult thing to achieve. Noha is easily bored by repetition or sitting quietly while someone lecturers her, that's not how she'll live her life. She is action-oriented and hands on, and will fight anyone who will try and cage her in. And let The Crimson Storm Crew assure you that Noha is not below using violence. While she can act prim and proper at times, she can easily turn into a violent beast who will not take 'no' for an answer. On that topic, Noha is an absolutely ruthless and merciless person, especially when it comes to battle, or simply wining an argument. She even finds amusement in the pain and despair of others. And blood? Gore? Whatever.  That's just common place for her. Even more so when she brings out her calculating mind, to dig in deep, and destroy what she needs to destroy.

While she is definitely very hard working, Noha is just as equally lazy. She would honestly love nothing more than to have no responsibility and lounge around all day like a potato. And trust me, when she gets her alone time, it's alone time for her to lazily do whatever she wants. Noha is the kind of person who will lazily do tasks unless they are priorities or necessities for her to complete.

Furthermore, as she tends to 'live in the moment', there can be times when she misses the whole picture. She prefers to solve problems here and now, but perhaps too much. At the same time, this also causes the problem that it is difficult for Noha to focus on one thing at a time unless she is very motivated. If any excitement wanes, then the time it takes for her to start a creative project mirrors the amount of time it takes her to trash it. Borden comes very easily to Noha. And she can do some very stupid things, when she wants to find amusement and excitement. And by some, I mean a lot. But on her own unique way, she always finds a way out of her problems.

A defining characteristic of Noha, is that she is arrogant, and she knows it very well. In one way, she respects firm convictions and quick thinking, and looks down at people who do not match her expectations or to not 'entertain' her enough. In another way, she takes extreme pride in her work, and doesn't hesitate bragging about her own accomplishments and calling out the faults of others. As she is confident and does not care about the thoughts of others all that much, she has no problems with this. This is why Noha is a very difficult person to get along with--and the only times when she will tone down or even stop these arrogant tendencies of her's, is if she's feeling insecure or willing to open up. Which is a rarity in itself.

"I'm an . Who cares? I don't."

— Noh Aejeong about herself

Noha is unbelieveabley manipulative, and she uses it to her own advantage. And her affinity in communications make it all the more easy for her to exploit the people around her. As such, she is prone to cunning lies and deceit, and being the adaptable person she is, can act her way beyond the walls of any innocent or weak willed person. Although, it's difficult for even a strong-willed person to ignore her charms. Noha is someone who is more than willing to use dirty methods to get what she wants. "Oh did you really think I did that for you? Did you really think I actually like you? Hah. It's almost funny how gullible people like you are." However, do not take this the wrong way. While her loyalty is questionable to many other people, she is undoubtedly loyal to her father and her own crew. Being willing to die for [most] of the crew that she considers family. Anyone outside of that circle, however, needs to truly gain her trust before she can even consider really devoting herself to them.

In any case, Noha can be seen as an un-trust-able person at times. Which she understands wholeheartedly. She is rather aware of her faults. This links to how Noha quite mischievous with a knack for pranking and trickery. Although, in this context, it's generally concerning her playful traits. As stated before, Noha loves the feeling of adventure and going on a journey, and thus loves to have fun. Also, another defining trait of Noha, is that she definitely has a sailor mouth, as courtesy of the men who she was raised by. She knows a plethora of swear words, and made-up words that sound like swear words, in many different languages, and uses them quite frequently. While she does have a large, advanced, and proper vocabulary either way, being an eloquent speaker, in her home environment, this talent is used with foul mouthed language. And by being foul mouthed, you can surely bet that Noha is also quite erted, in the sense that because she cares little for modesty, she also cares little about bringing up 'taboo' subjects with other men and woman. She sees it all as 'human nature' anyways. And because she's such a  strong person, you know that she's not kidding.

In the deepest depths of her heart, something that she has hidden far, far away, Noha does wonder what it would be like to be a normal girl. What it would be like to be someone average, and to not be some as awesomeamazing, or... cold hearted, mean, and deceitful person. There are those rare times when she wishes that she'd be able to go back being a little girl, untainted by this cruel world, and having yet to experience all the horrible and disgusting things that she experienced and instigated later in her life as she was growing up. But, most of all, Noha hides her really dreamy and wistful nature. Of how she wishes to find love, how she wishes to be happy, and how she wishes that her mother was still alive. But due to her own pride, she keeps this all under lock. Having a private nature that soils any attempt to lean on others.

Noha may be strong, but no one can be strong all of the time. No matter how hard you try.

"There are a lot of people... Similar to me, I suppose. Thick-skinned. Confident. A bit avantgarde. Probably spontaneous. But, there is only one of me. And when they can threaten other people with their petty talk, I don't need to resort that. I have much better, bloodier, more gruesome, and more effective ways of dealing with my enemies."

— Noh Aejeong about herself

PROLOGUE :: RAGING STORMS

"Before your mother died... Her last words were about how much she loved you, and how sorry she was to leave you so early. So always remember that you mother will always be by your side, loving you to the ends of the world, even if she isn't here with us."

— Noh Byungho to Noh Aejeong about Bang Yongsun

The day Noh Aejeong was born, on Rosus 24th, 1302, was the most beautiful, the most terrifying, and the most devastating day that Noh Byungho ever experienced in his life. And, there are times when he wishes, more than anything, to turn back time and fix everything. But, life has it's consequences, and this was one of them.

Before Aejeong's birth, the ocean was calm and the sky bright. There was no indication that a horrible storm would appear and practically shake the world to its very core. Byungho was at the helm, roaring order and order at his crew. While he would've normally accepted the challenge from the sea, his wife was in labor just below deck. And there was no way he was going to let anything happen to her. So, while he wanted nothing more than to go down there and be with her to witness the birth of his child, he didn't. Something that he would... In a way, come to regret.

Under deck, Bang Yongsun, the wife of Noh Byungho, was laid out, screaming bloody murder as other crew members held the table still, as Sail Master Delmar Vela attempted to calm the laboring woman as the Doctor worked. Bang Yongsun was a simple peasant girl from Jiayuan, who fell in love with a rambunctious young boy who popped up every now and then in her hometown. And even when she found that her lover would become one of the most infamous, notorious, and ruthless pirates ever to sail the seven seas, she was determined to stay by his side. Which is why tears were streaming down her face as she felt her consciousness fade little by little.

The doctor at the same, was unbelievably confused at this point, coupled with the added stress from the chaos on board and the storm outside. But the doctor realized that as the baby was coming out, he was losing the mother. That was what confused him. For Yongsun's entire pregnancy, she was perfectly healthy, without a single complication. Even in a storm like this, she still should've been fine, save for some craziness here and there.

The moment the ship had hit relatively calm waters, Byungho had instantly left the helm, and raced down the stairs below deck. Practically slamming open doors as he desperately ran to where his wife and newborn child would be. However, the moment when he reached the room where they were, he was stopped by Delmar.

"What are you doing? Let me through! Let me through!"

"Captain... Captain..."

"Let me go! Let me see my wife!"

"Byungho! Stop it!"

With wide eyes, Byungho stopped, almost wincing at the force from Delmar that was being applied on his shoulders. That was when Byungho realized the blood over Delmar's arms, and the grave look on his friend's face.

"W- What..?"

Some time later, the ship's doctor had softly walked out into the hall. Byungho, blank faced, only turned to stare. The doctor was unable to fully describe to Byungho what had happened. The delivery had been normal at first, but all of the sudden, things went way out of hand, with far too many complications to count.

"She's gone. I did everything I could. But..."

Byungho didn't press for any other information, turning to face the wall, and leaning his forehead against the cold wood. No tears, no screaming. Just... Silence.

Suddenly at that moment, the cries had reached Byungho's ears, and he quickly pushed himself off of the wall in shock. Did he hear what he thought he heard? At the cries, the doctor had rushed back into the room -- Byungho, after a moment of hesitation, walking in after him, Delmar following close behind.

The first thing he noticed was the white blood covered sheet covering the outline of a figure. A sob lodged in Byungho's throat and threatened to spill out. He hadn't even been there for her. She had seen him when this happened. Maybe... Maybe if he was there, things would've turned out differently? Maybe? Maybe not? He didn't know, but the emotions all crashed down on him at once. However, when Byungho started walking over to the sheet to lift it up, the Doctor cleared his throat.

"Captain."

"..."

Byungho very slowly turned.

"You should meet her. Your daughter that is."

"... Daughter..?"

And it was then that Byungho realized that there was a baby crying. A baby that he and his wife and loving spoke about together ever since Yongsun had gotten pregnant. But now... Yongsun wasn't here. And Byungho didn't know what to feel -- that is until he felt the Doctor gently placing the tiny human into his arms.

Byungho didn't speak. The child... His daughter, stared up at him in wonder. Her cries having magically stopped the moment she was laid in his arms. The two stared at each other for a couple of seconds. Delmar, with a crease in his eyebrows, had placed a hand on Byungho's shoulder.

"Is everything okay--"

And then Delmar saw the tears. Tears that he had never before seen his captain shed. Byungho, still staring at his daughter, felt the silent tears flow down his cheeks as his lips quivered. His daughter looked so much like her mother, even as a baby, the resemblance was so uncanny.

The doctor then, with a sad smile, turned to face the blood covered sheets on the table.

"She named her... Aejeong."

Bang Yongsun's body had been buried some time later, in her home town.

CHAPTER ONE :: CHILDISH ANTICS

"Do you think I'll ever get to meet a mermaid?"

"Of course, little one. One day, we'll reach the City of Atlantis, and you'll be able to meet all of the mermaids that you want. But, none of them will ever be as beautiful as you...My little cutie pie!"

"Wahh, stop! That tickles! Daddy! Uncle is being weird again!"

— Delmar Vela and Noh Aejeong (6) about Mermaids

For the early years of Noh Aejeong's life, she was almost entirely cared and watched over by her 'Uncle' Delmar Vela, who was the Sail master of The Crimson Storm. Now, don't misunderstand, she knew perfectly well who her father was, and she knew what the people on the ship were. However, being an easily malleable and ditsy young child, Aejeong didn't think too much of it. And enjoyed her childhood, well, as much as a little girl can enjoy her life on a boat with middle aged men.

For the first few years of her childhood, Aejeong rarely interacted with her father. She, being the mischievous child she was, tried various little plans to get his attention. They rarely ever worked, and if they did, her father would simply glare at her, and send her off to be watched by Delmar or another crew member. These defeats didn't really deter Aejeong from trying to see her father, but it certainly let the little girl have a bit of a grudge. And let me tell you, there's a reason why the Pink Hair Incident is rarely talked about on The Crimson Storm.

Turning 5 years old, Aejeong was very slowly being introduced to the idea of being a pirate, instead of a little girl who ran around messing with everyone's work and always getting into some kind of trouble. And one of her first lessons, included Delmar telling her that Pirates are resourceful, and in some way or another, get what they want. And for 6 year old Aejeong, the words 'resourceful' and 'unique' stood out to her, and the first thing she thought about was How To Get Daddy's Attention for Dummies

One night, Aejeong who had somehow gotten her hands on pink dye, and stealthy went into her father's bed chambers. Having to hold in her laughs from her father's snores. However, just as she was able to walk into the chamber's washroom, she stopped. Aejeong turned her head around the moment she heard her father mumbling. Her heart racing, she believed that she had been caught, and could be punished. She stood there frozen for a few moments, until she realized that her father was sleep talking. And that sleep talking, certainly explained somethings.

Aejeong listened quietly as her father twisted and turned, voicing out his apologizes and sorrow to someone named Yongsun, who after asking around, turned out to be her mother who died in childbirth. She also listened to her father apologizing for being so cold to Aejeong, but he didn't  know how to interact with her, because she reminded him too much of Yongsun.

And now, you probably think that this would've stopped Aejeong from continuing with her prank. Well jokes on you, because she still did it. Sneaking into the washroom, she placed the pink die into the bottle of shampoo that her father used. Why the Captain of The Crimson Storm had shampoo, she wouldn't know, but he did. Which is why this prank worked so well.

The next morning, Noh Byungho had stomped onto deck with a roar. Demanding that whoever caused the pink monstrosity on his head to come out. Aejeong stood behind the crowd of gathered crew mates, standing next to Delmar with her snickers barely being hid by her hand. Delmar, having already been used to Aejeong's ridiculous antics, grabbed the little girl and hoisted her up into his arms, and promptly marched her over to the fuming Byungho.

"I think I found the culprit, Captain."

"Huh? Who."

"None other than this little rascal."

Byungho had stopped himself mid-shout when he stared at his daughter with wide eyes.

"She... She did this?"

"Yes."

Pouting, Aejeong glared at Delmar, doing her best to mimic the deadly stare she had seen from her father. After a few moments of silence, Byungho sighed, and waved off for the crew to go back to their work. And for a brief moment, Aejeong thought she was off the hook, Delmar even set her down on the ground! But just before she could make her grand escape, Byungho had scooped her up in his arms.

"So, you're the little troublemaker who did this, huh?"

"Yeah? So what? I did it, and you fell for it! So it's your fault!"

Aejeong huffed out, turning her head as she squirmed in his grasp. Byungho started laughing again, and everyone turned heads. As this was the first time in years that Byungho had let out a laugh out of happiness, rather than one full of murderous intent.

"You're right. And... Not bad by the way. But you could do better."

"What?"

"You must be surprised--"

"That plan was fool proof! Don't tell me that I could do better when I already did the best!"

It was from this incident that Noha became closer with her father, and while it took a couple of months for the pink hair dye to take it's course, Byungho was thankful that his daughter did it.

CHAPTER TWO :: TO BE A PIRATE

"Another win for Noha. Congratulations, my dear. Now, would anyone else like to challenge my daughter? One of you is bound to at least put up a fight, instead of moving clumsily about like newborn chicks."

— Noh Byungho to New Crew Members about Noh Aejeong (13)

Noha fully accepted her life as a pirate very quickly, because why should't she? She's grown up with it all her life, and while she was never directly involved as a young child, she still saw and heard many things. The only problem is that no one took her seriously outside of her crew, she was a young teen girl, and even if she was the daughter of Noh Byungho, or more commonly known as Noctis of The Crimson Storm, she was still a little girl. And that pissed her off. In any case, one of the first things that she ever did once she entered the Pirate World for real, was give herself an alias. She went through a variety of different names, before eventually settling on Noha. She was apprehensive about the name at first, believing that is sounded too girly, but her father liked it, and it's stuck with her ever since.

From 11 years old, she began accompanying the crew on various 'adventures' on land. It was also when she was 11 years old, was when she stayed on land for a long period of time for the first time in her life. And when she started getting sick. The first time it happened, Byungho had panicked endlessly, and checked Noha all over for any injuries. However, the moment he brought her back to the ship, she seemed perfectly fine. And so, Byungho decided to place the restriction on Noha that is she does ever go on land, it'd only be for a short amount of time. But if she needs to stay longer, than someone he trusts must be with her at all times.

Afterwards, whenever she would go out on land from 11 to 15 years old, she would dress up as a boy. Since it just made things a little easier. She only stopped when she turned 16, because she got sick of dressing up all the time, and preferred to be in her own clothing. In following the timeline, this was also around the time when Noha experienced and was involved in her first raid. And she loved it. She loved just destroying things, she loved getting riches, and she loved the thrills of possibly being caught but triumphing in the end. This is why Noha practically jumps at the chance of raiding or anything similar to that.

Noha had been training when a wooden sword ever since she was 7 years old, but once she turned 11, she was finally given the opportunity to use a real sword. And she took to it like fish does to water. It took her some time to get used to the metal sword, Noha loved the feeling of holding swords in her hand. And it was only a couple of months later when she realized just how much she loved using two swords at once rather than one.

When Noha turned 13 years old, she met the two boys who would become her best friends. She met th an 11 year old Raylen Darger after The Crimson Storm had made a journey to New Haven. And, believe it or not, Raylen had gotten onto the ship as a stowaway. Upon being found, there was a moment where Raylen could've been thrown overboard. But, Noha had decided to speak about it to her father after interacting with Raylen for a moment as he was stuck in the prison cellar. The boy was an orphan, who was willing to do anything to get out of his situation back in New Haven. So in a way, Noha took pity on Raylen, and she also wanted to see what it would be like hanging out with someone kind of near her age. And so, Raylen was able to stay, and simply worked as a crew man, helping around everywhere. Meeting Wali Singh was much less dramatic. Wali was the son of a loyal crew member of The Crimson Storm, who decided to follow in his father's footsteps. And just like that, while mostly because of their similar ages, the three of them became close friends.

The first time Noha had her first kill, she was 14 years old, and had shot a bullet in the head of another pirate who was trying to sneak up against her father during a skirmish. In the heat of battle, Noha didn't think about it, and continued to shoot and throw things from where she was standing. It was only after her crew had one, did she realize that she actually did that to people. And, in all honesty, it freaked her out. Well, just a little bit anyways. As over the years, Noha would find herself involved in many other battles and skirmishes. There is a reason why The Crimson Storm is known as one of the most ruthless pirate crews who sail the seven seas.

CHAPTER THREE :: UNDER ORDERS

"I promise you. I will fulfill your order to my upmost capabilities, and I will not return home, until I bring back the prize."

— Noh Aejeong (19) to Noh Byungho

19 years old, known in the Pirate Community as Noha The Maiden of Swords and apart of the infamous Crimson Storm Crew, Noha has been cultivated by her father to be his successor, the one who will eventually take over The Crimson Storm. She's been through danger, escaped death, did stupid things, and had fun the entire time. Honestly, sometimes both Byungho and Noha agree that if her mother saw how she was now, she may or may not have approved, but it's fine.

However, things were starting to change, and while Noha is someone who would welcome change with open arms, it didn't stop the chills from running up and down her spine. The current Pirate King was ill, and without a heir and without a crew. And Noha knows more than anyone else that having this power is essential for surviving in this ruthless world.

Her crew had first been elated by this fact, gearing themselves up to triumph over every other crew, and make their Captain King. While this goal seemed in reach, there were a few problems Those problems including that there are some formidable crews out there. While that wouldn't be too alarming normally, there is one crew that really threatens everything. The Nightingale, captained by a favorite of the Pirate King, and a competent crew. In a way, you could also call this a rivalry between The Crimson Storm and The Nightingale. A rivalry between a Veteran and a Newcomer. It gets pretty heated.

Unfortunately at this time, Noha's father also fell strangely ill. While the sickness has yet to be proven deadly, the doctor has not been able to diagnose him. So no one really knows if it's long-lasting, short-lasting, or anything like that. But there is one thing for sure, Noha was hysterical at the idea of her father being sick, especially at a time like this -- and that goes for her father as well, who as his sickness wouldn't go away for a couple of days, was becoming very angry.

It was during this time that her father called her into his bed chamber one day. When she walked in, she saw her father sickly in bed, his skin pale, his appearance disheveled, and very visibly uncomfortable. Her father, being the ambitious man he was, had held his daughter's hand tightly. While it may have been selfish, basically told her to join The Nightingale Crew, sabotage everything, and come back. All in that order in very slurred language, before her father passed out and fell asleep. Leaving a gobsmacked Noha to stare at her sleeping father, wondering just how much rum her father had somehow gotten.

For the next few days after, it became apparent that even though the request was ridiculous and completely out of the blue, the crew did intend to make Noha join the Nightingale Crew for ulterior motives. While Noha didn't exactly oppose the concept of it, she argued why she couldn't just stay here on The Crimson Storm, and man the ship herself as Captain. She was the first mate after all, and she could fight any rival crew with her own crew.

But unfortunately, none of her arguments where heard, and the next day, Noha had been dropped off at the Piranha Isles, left to find a way to join The Nightingale. To which The Nightingale actually didn't come to the Piranha Isles until a few days after Noha had been dropped off, much to her chagrin.

"Damn you Pirates. Damn you dad. Damn you Delmar. Damn freaking Raylen and Wali who just stood there smiling. I should still be on my ship. One of you other block-heads should be doing this!"

A comedic beginning to something so much bigger than Noha could've ever imagined.

LIKES:

✩ Noha's favorite colors are  Blue  and Black, but she is also fond of  Beige  and  Dark Green .

✩ Noha's favorite flower in the entire world is the Rose. Apart from Roses being the favorite flower of her deceased mother, she also grew up with the flowers being cared for on The Crimson Storm.

✩ Noha is very sensitive to scents, and thus appreciates pleasant smells more than the average person. She especially enjoys floral and dessert scents, as well as the smell of the ocean. Ironically, she is also fond of earthy and forestry scents, despite the fact that she rarely goes on land. Whenever she smells something terrible, it's almost like she's suffocating but not.

✩ Noha's favorite weather tends to include fairly cloudy skies providing shade, cool temperature, and calm winds. Her favorite time of day is usually the late afternoon.

✩ One of her favorite past times in the entire world, is dueling or sparring. To Noha, one of her defining traits is her skill on combat. Having been taught from a young age with brutal training, she is by no doubt one of the best combatants on The Crimson Storm. And while she is more than competent with using pistols and shotguns, she truly shines when she is using swords. Although Noha is just as deadly with one sword, she is especially deadly when you give her two, which is her preferred method of fighting. Noha, of course, is the master at playing dirty. Because in a real fight, rules don't apply.

✩ Like all pirates, Noha enjoys drinking beer and rum. Although she does have some standards, and will only drink if she has free time or during times of celebration. Or at least, that's what she likes to tell people.

✩ Noha may not be the cleanest person in the world, but she does have an appreciation of things been clean and sanitary, especially when you live on a ship with a bunch of guys. Trust me, you do not won't to get sick.

✩ Noha likes playing pranks and messing around with other people, make them annoyed and stuff like that. She finds it entertaining, And her pranking history runs deep, especially with the Pink Hair Incident. She especially likes using bugs or other disgusting things in her pranks.

✩ Noha likes collecting Spices from all around the world. She keeps a collection of spices she's gotten. This is also why she likes very flavorful food.

✩ Noha likes animals. Which makes sense because she does have her own bird sidekick, in the form of a blue budgie bird named Kai. In any case, there are some times when Noha does prefer the company of animals than that of humans.

✩ Noha's favorite season is the Summer. For no real particular reason besides that she likes the weather, and the most business usually happens in the Summer. She doesn't mind the heat at all.

✩ Noha definitely enjoys listening to music. Noha, herself, has no idea how to play an instrument, although she has been told that she as a pleasant-sounding voice.

✩ Noha enjoys goofing off and having fun. It's apart of her personality to be free spirited and risk taking. She doesn't really consider the consequences unless it's something really important, but even then she'll probably still act the same way to throw people off.

✩ Noha likes anything that makes her heart race. She is one for adventure, thrills, and chills. She's a risk-taker, and won't hesitate to do anything if it has the possible outcome of being fun and entertaining.

DISLIKES:

✩ Noha dislikes bland food with all her heart. While she would still eat it if she didn't have any other choice, if Noha can avoid it, she will. She does have some picky taste-buds after all. She also isn't all that fond of sweet food, and prefers spicy and savory.

✩ Even if Noha doesn't care about what others think of her all that much, that doesn't mean that she won't tolerate people making a fool out of her. Noha really dislikes this, and will often take measures to shut those people up. This is also what she will do if anyone underestimates her capabilities.

✩ She absolutely hates being told things she already knows. Especially if they are about her faults. Noha already knows all of that stuff already, she doens't need someone else butting in if she doesn't feel the need to change her personality.

✩ Winter. Noha doesn't enjoy cold weather very much, and thinks that snow and ice are very annoying. But, it can be useful sometimes. Only sometimes though. During the really cold months, she'd rather be holed up in her room surrounded by blankets.

✩ She dislikes talking or listening to politics, unless it has to do with her, her crew, the pirate community, or the notion of possibly getting more power. Otherwise, she thinks that any political talk is ridiculous.

✩ Noha dislikes having to take care of other people's problems. While she is a dependable person, she doesn't think that it's fair for her to do things for people who can do it themselves. And if she does do it, she expects things in return.

✩ She dislikes very bright colors, and isn't very fond of the color Orange.

✩ She especially dislikes showing any kind of weakness. It's just... Not apart of her nature.

✩ Noha is fond of music, but she isn't as fond of Classical Music, not that it means she won't listen to it or appreciate it. She much rather prefers unique and more 'modern-like' sounds.

✩ She dislikes small, tight, and enclosed spaces. It makes her feel trapped and restricted, a feeling that Noha absolutely hates. It's not bad enough that she has trouble breathing or starts panicking, but it does make her very angry.

✩ When Noha is doing something that she really enjoys, she dislikes it, no hates it, if someone interrupts her, She was lash out instantly. Sure, Noha is the kind of person who is used to moving around and always wants something to do, but once she sits down to do something and stays there, do you mess with her.

✩ She dislikes it when her father doesn't listen to her, or treats her like a little girl still. And that goes for the other older men on The Crimson Storm. While they certainly know that she is capable, they still treat her like a baby sometimes.

✩ She dislikes hardcore rules and responsibilities. She'd much rather be unpredictable, and let things move on the dot.

✩ She dislikes Tea. it's much too bland and too boring for her. I know, shocker. She prefers coffee and other drinks much more.

HOBBIES:

✩ Training. Fighting. What else do you need to know? It's not like Noha does much else. Besides sword fighting and gunnery, Noha does also know some Jia-Hwan martial arts and other forms of self defense. Although, it's her trickery and eye for battle that makes her such a good fighter.

✩ Planning her little schemes. Noha's mind is practically a factory of nonsense, and it's sally at the expense of others. It's all for fun and games anyways!

✩ Noha enjoys drawing. She's a talented artist, and anyone will agree to that. She has a small pad of paper and an ink pen with a blue ribbon tied onto it, that she'll use to sketch with from time to time if she's really bored. Or maybe she'll end up drawing on her own skin, she'll wash it off afterwards.

✩ Candle Making! While it sounds lame at first (even Noha thought so), she gradually came to love it after starting. Being an artistic person with a love for scents, she enjoys experimenting and creating candles. Which is why she has a ton in her room -- and she likes sculpting them as well.

✩ Card Games and Gambling. Doesn't matter where you go, any place is good for cards and gambling or anything of that sort in Noha's mind.

HABITS:

✩ Noha has the habit of intensely staring at someone or something for long periods of time when she is in deep thought. In a similar fashion, she also has a habit of randomly smiling for no real apparent reason, which makes her seem strange.

✩ When Noha is talking, she has the habit of making random analogy's or making up stupid reasons for her actions that don't make any sense, but she talks way too fast and too confidently for anyone to actually refute them. It's really ridiculous, but Noha thinks that it's fun. Similarly will create her own monologues and say them aloud, speaking different parts by herself, just because she's bored.

✩ She has a habit of naming random moves after random things, such as: Anti-InsertTitle Dropkick, Justifiable Self-Defense Tackle, Knee Strike, Perfume Splash, Rice Tornado, and so on and so forth. And she will say all of this aloud as she does them. It's entertaining and bewildering at the same time.

✩ Noha has a habit of biting at her nails or her cuticles whenever she's nervous or angry. While she knows that it's not a good habit, it takes a lot of effort for her to resist. When she was younger, her father would force her to wear gloves so she wouldn't bite her nails.

✩ Noha takes 10 - 20 minutes every day to simply find a quiet place and meditate. In a way it allows her to just relax and get away from the world. When her meditation time gets interrupted, she's gets very annoyed.

✩ She has a habit of cursing, in all of the languages that she knows how to speak. And even in languages that she can't speak, because she'll pick up swear words anywhere. In any case, she has a huge sailor mouth, and doesn't care if words suddenly slip from .

✩ She has a habit of showing up fashionably late, usually anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes late. It keeps people on their toes, and Noha simply likes taking her time. She will be punctual, however, for important meetings or fun events.

TRIVIA:

✩ Noha often depicts herself as being evil. Often stating that her specialties are: mischief, provocation, and harassment. And it's all fun!

✩ Noha actually drew the designs for her tattoos herself, and simply had someone who knew how to tattoo them do it for her. Noha does know how to administers tattoos herself as well, and does them at high quality. She just needs the right equipment.

Dead Men Tell No Tales. Just as she has been taught all her life, the best outcome, is when all of your enemies are crushed, and there are no survivors.

✩ Noha does know how to dance very well, being able to mold into any fancy party that she sneaks into. And she knows how to steal the show with her dance skills as well, as she sees dancing almost like sword fighting.

✩ When given the opportunity, Noha would have her own little mini fashion show. Simply trying on different clothes and styles from different countries for hours.

✩ Noha has very little experience with other people her age, other than interacting with her friends Raylen and Wali. But they don't really count since they've also grown up in the same environment that she has. As such, she is internally uncomfortable with children, and more comfortable with interacting with adults. However, do not misunderstand. While she has little experience with children, she herself does want children one day. One day.

✩ It's a little funny, despite Noha having little experience with a real blood family, she treats her crew like her family. No matter if most of them are sleazy men. She has very high filial piety, and will honor and protect those she considers her family down to her very last breath.

✩ Doesn't understand why people like some alcohol's more than others, or why one alcohol is more fancy than another. It's all alcohol, and she'll drink it all.

✩ Noha is fascinated by anything fantasy or adventure. As a result, she also really likes listening to stories. She often listened to stories of the sea as a child, delivered to her by Delmar. And while she is older, Noha has never grown out of liking stories.

✩ Noha is a very light sleeper. She can wake up at the slightest of sounds. It is both a blessing and a curse. But Noha is a morning person, so she doesn't really mind at all that.

✩ Is honestly just an annoying person sometimes. She's unpredictable, out of hand, and just... Weird. But it's entertaining so it's okay. Even if she can turn into a bloodthirsty monster with swords.

✩ Noha is an actress at heart. Manipulating and lying to others comes naturally to her, and white lies are a common part of her daily life. Furthermore, she has experimented with different disguises and voices, and seh can pull off many different identities well. [In this case, Noha can easily tell that THE CABIN BOY is actually a girl, and actually decides to give her some tips.]

✩ Noha has never really had any interest in romance before, and for a time honestly saw herself as being aual. This is why whenever she was tasked with seducing some man or woman for information, she didn't think it was weird, but just a task she had to do. Like, whatever. I mean, she kind of understands romance from the stories she heard about her parents, but otherwise she doesn't pay attention to it.

✩ Noha, has a lot of perfumes and scented sprays, and she always keeps at least one on her at all times. Whenever she smells something disgusting or weird, she'll whip out her perfume and spray like all life depends on it. Like perfumes, she also quite likes make-up, might've been a beauty-guru or fashion-guru in another life.

✩ She is very flexible for a woman, being able to many different poses, jumps, twists, turns, and cartwheels. It's very useful, since many men can only dream of being that flexible.

✩ Noha absolutely loves telling jokes, both terrible and good. And she's really good at delivering the punchlines at times that are not appropriate at all. She has also has a weird, unique, dark, and erted sense of humor. It is certainly a breath of fresh air!

✩ In the Modern World, Noha's favorite school subjects would be Math and History, whereas her least favorite subjects would probably be Language Arts.

✩ Should not be left alone for a few minutes because she WILL burn or destroy something -- Delmar

✩ In the Modern World, she'd probably grow up to be some kind of Politician or Government Worker. If not, then she'd probably be some kind kind of Business Woman. Would've honestly also been a You Tuber as a side job.

✩ When Noha does blush, both her cheeks and her ears will turn red.

✩ Noha, one day, wants to cure herself of her land sickness, but is waiting for the right time (motivation) to start. Because her uncomfortable-ness on land is deep rooted.

✩ Noha is a very good swimmer, and likes to show off her skills. She basically lives on the sea, what kind of Pirate would she be if she didn't know how to swim well?

✩ She has laid in a coffin with a live skeleton before as a hiding place to listen in on a secret conversation. It was worth it.

✩ When Noha is really angry, she will be silent and apathetic. And, of course, very ruthless.

RELATIONSHIPS:

FATHER - NOH BYUNGHO (48) / PIRATE CAPTAIN / EIGHT
Face Claim: Bae Yongjun

Known by his Pirate Alias, Noctis, Noh Byungho is the kind of person, that at first glance, you would've never expected him to be a Pirate Captain, nevertheless the Captain of a notorious and highly influential crew. With soft features, you never would've guessed just how muscular, strong, and unbelievably ruthless he can be. In terms of personality, Byungho is someone who is quiet, insanely private and rarely shows emotion, selfish, ambitious, and stubborn. In his line of work, he has no qualms with manipulating and battling other people. There's a reason why The Crimson Storm is known as a ruthless Pirate Crew. He's power hungry, but also takes very good care of his crew and family. He's devoted to his own.

Basically, his base personality is almost a completely different personality from his daughter -- to which even to this day Byungho states that Noha didn't get her personality from him or Yongsun, who introverted and gentle. Honestly, he blames this all on Delmar.

Byungho avoided Noha when she was a young child, still distraught and traumatized by the death of his very dear and beloved wife. Although, after the Pink Hair Incident, to which he would actually come to praise Noha for her sneakiness, he finally came to terms that Noha was his daughter, and he should be there for her.

As Noha grew up, Byungho did become closer to his daughter. Mostly because she was, without any qualms, following in his footsteps. He got close to her especially due to the many sessions of training -- who do you think taught the amazing Noha -- studying, tutoring, and simply talking with each other. However, in terms of real emotional and sentimental talk, both Byungho and Noha are unwilling to do that with anyone, nevertheless with each other. Although, the two of them never minded, as they always had an unspoken connection over what they were feeling.

After becoming mysteriously sick a short time after the Pirate King announced that he was without heir and crew, Byungho was devastated. All his life, all he was wanted was glory and triumph, and the best way to accomplish that as a pirate, is to become the Pirate King. Thus, after getting very sickly, Byungho was growing more and more desperate. Noha personally thinks that this sickness was messing with Byungho's common sense and mind -- and while it worried her down to the bone, she couldn't refuse her father.

So when Byungho ordered her to infiltrate the Nightingale, a rival crew, while she had opposed it vehemently, even Noha couldn't fully refuse the task. However, the last time she saw her father was a few moments before she was dropped off at the Piranha Isles to find the Nightingale. And her father looked... Empty for a moment. Like a ghost of his former self. But before Noha could ask her father if he was fine, he had shook his head, and quickly told her to hurry and find the Nightingale. Take the Captain and the crew down, and come back victorious.

And so, Noha's own journey of self discovery began.

UNCLE-FIGURE - DELMAR VELA (42) / PIRATE SAILMASTER / NINE
Face Claim: Rodrigo Santoro

From the beginning of her life, Delmar Vela was her caretaker and her uncle/adult-figure in her life who she could instantly turn to for help. Delmar, himself, is an extroverted, playful, and analytical man. While not as mischievous as Noha, certainly someone who has an eye for trickery, which is probably why he can see through Noha's schemes easily. He's also a bit of a lady's man, and with his handsome and fit figure, always a center of attention whenever going to the Piranha Isles, where he's often swarmed by other young woman. It's certainly a mystery to Noha why he hasn't been tied down, or at least had some relationship with another person.

That, and being the Sails master for The Crimson Storm, his knowledge of the sea is amazing and practically unparalleled by many other sail masters due to his experience and love for the ocean. He knows so much, and as passed down some of his knowledge to Noha. However, hasn't gone further than the real basics because, you should learn the rest through your own means. I can't help you all the time you know.

Noha, not being able to do this with her father, relies on Delmar more for emotional support and advice for less battle-oriented things. A lot of this comes from the two of them having similar personalities and the fact that Delmar is simply an intellectual objective person. There are, however, sometimes where Delmar acts strangely, but that's probably just his personality quirks. Because Noha knows more than anyone else that she acts very strangely.

PET - KAI  (2) / TEN
Visual: Blue Budgie Bird

Kai is a pet bird that Noha received on her 17th birthday from her father, as Noha has always been jealous of the other pet birds that other crew members have on The Crimson Storm. As such, Noha was elated when she was given a tiny little cute bird. Kai is a male blue budgie bird, who is very affectionate to Noha, and listens to her without fail. He especially loves simply sitting on her shoulder, as well as being an intelligent bird who can seamlessly mimic many phrases and words.

In a way, you can say that Noha's true soulmate or best friend is Kai. Noha is very affectionate with Kai, and on her free time or when she's bored, she'll play games with him. In any case, when Noha joins The Nightingale, Kai is with her the entire way. And let me tell you that having a protective exotic bird, is useful when you have a crew that is pretty distrusting of you at first.

MOTHER FIGURE - NEPHELE GAVALAS (31) / CHEF / NINE
Face Claim: Maria Tsagkaraki

Nephele had joined The Crimson Storm when Noha had turned 10 years old, being a peasant woman from Priecia, who had mistakenly been kidnapped during a raid. Nephele had been frantic and distraught for a couple of days after being on board, although after some time, became accustomed to life on a ship, as it wouldn't be for a while before she could even think of being dropped back home. it was also around this time when Noha discovered Nephele's amazing ability to cook. After not secretly telling her father, Nephele had been made a Chef on the ship. And over time Nephele became attached to the crew, and decided to stay.

Nephele, herself, is a soft spoken, timid, and shy person. She prefers to keep quiet (or not talk at all), keep her head down. While also being very kind and patient. As a result, Noha found herself very quickly attached to Nephele because one, the woman can cook like a goddess, and two because she listens to Noha's ramblings patiently and lovingly. It came to a point where Noha could almost see Nephele as the sort of mother that she never had. Equally becoming a sort of 'goddess' on the ship by the rest of the men.

When Noha had left The Crimson Storm, Nephele had tightly hugged Noha, and told her to come back safely whilst also promising to look over the ship and all the men to the best of her abilities.

BEST FRIEND - RAYLEN DARGER (17) / CREWMAN / EIGHT
Face Claim: Blake Gray

The boy who ended up stowing away on The Crimson Storm when he was 11 years old in an attempt to escape his life of poverty in New Haven -- it was just a of luck (or misfortune) that the ship he ended up in was the infamous Pirate Ship, The Crimson Storm. Having been saved from being thrown out to the sharks, Raylen had attached himself to Noha's hip. Seeing the older girl as his mentor or role model. Noha has told Raylen to call her Noona, by the way.

Raylen, grew from being a rash and panicky boy with little intelligence, into a brave, courageous, very dense, and somewhat intelligent teenage boy. But all the same, he has a good heart, and adapts well to situations, as he has a very apparent sense of wanting to survive. Although, Noha has to admit that Raylen's tendencies to take risks, is probably because he's seen noha do so many stupid and dangerous things with so many risks at stake. Noha sees Raylen as a little brother, and is highly protective of him, and portrays herself as his role model.

Upon hearing that Noha was to leave the Ship, Raylen had been defeated. Sure, he had an one-sided crush on the older girl (who only sees him as a younger brother), but he also didn't understand why she had to infiltrate a vastly growing in influence ship who was very much a rival to The Crimson Storm. Raylen had tried to dissuade Noha from going, and had tried to change the minds of people such as the Captain and Delmar. However, his efforts were useless, and he could only watch sadly as Noha was promptly dropped in the Piranha Isles to fend for herself, and trying to patiently wait for her return.

BEST FRIEND - WALI SINGH (19) / CREWMAN / EIGHT
Face Claim: Karan Brar

The most level headed and normal of the trio that is made up of Noha, Raylen, and himself. Wali came to stay on The Crimson Storm simply because his father (from Sabkhlah) was apart of the crew, and decided it would be a good idea for Wali to follow in his footsteps. Being a 13 year old boy, he didn't think it was bad, and simply followed his father onto the large looming ship. And ever since, he's been pulled into various antics that Noha and the rest of the crew found himself in. Interestingly enough, Wali himself doesn't involve himself in battles, while he can fight fairly well due to being tutoring by Noha. But rather on the ship, he focuses on helping with Navigation and documenting information.

Wali is a mature and reliable individual, and highly analytical and practical. He likes working with his hands, and creating things. He also likes to say that when he really gets serious, he has no real need for compassion. He is very protective of his friends, as he seems himself as the parent of his group, which no one argues with considering that he deals with both Noha and Raylen. Because of this, Noha sees Wali as a bit of a Delmar Jr. and thus it did not take her very long to become friends with him, even more so since they were the same age, with Noha being just a few months older. As such, she can talk with him easily about may different topics without becoming uncomfortable, unless it goes into anything personal.

Upon Noha leaving for the Nightingale, Wali had took her to the side for a moment to give her words of caution. Stating that he would've gone with her if ti was allowed, but unfortunately it wasn't. After giving her a short hug, he waved her off like the rest of the crew.

PANTHEA DIMITRIOU (18) / THE LOST PRINCESS
Face Claim: Nadia Parkes

The one thing Noha noticed first about Panthea, was that she looked just like a little lost lamb. Which in retrospect, was valid, because she was a princess who was kidnapped from her home like it was nothing, but what happens happens. Any normal person would've been sympathetic to Panthea's situation, but the moment Noha heard it, she had simply laughed. Not only was the situation one of the most cliche things she had ever heard, but how comical it was that she just so happened to be bought by the Captain of the Nightingale, and was another addition to the growing amount of woman joining the Nightingale one by one.

"Coincidence? I THINK NOT!"

When Noha stated that in a loud voice, everyone simply stared at Noha with exasperated look, whereas Panthea just looked confused because that was the first thing that Noha had ever said in Panthea's presence. A good impression, don't you think?

In any case, Noha relates to Panthea heavily with the 'let-loose-and-let-live' like attitude, and enjoys the girl's optimism. However, every where else they differ in almost every way. In a way it makes Noha interested, because she's always intrigued by people who think completely differently from the way she does. How boring it must be in their brains then

Although, in a whole, the two of them do not have a good relationship from the beginning. With Panthea being a stereotypical princess who hates pirates. To which Noha simply rolled her eyes, because whatever. People can think what they want. However, as time slowly starts to pass by, Noha realizes that she and Panthea, in a weird sort of way, make an effective pair. And it might be because they're opposites, being able to cover more ground, and are similar in age. But Noha likes to think it's because she's naturally amazing.

THE CAPTaiN's DAUGHTER

WHat do yOu think of pirates? I’m sure you’ve heard a tale or tWo:

✩ "Pirates? They must be the most irrational and crazy people on the planet. They're all a bunch of idiots, with nothing but sea water in their ears. And don't even get me started on those ridiculous tales that people weave and spin about them. They're all a bunch of crap... Eh, well the lame ones are. The stories that are really crazy are usually true.

What? Why are you looking at me like that? Did you really think I would give you some bull answer because I'm a Pirate too? Ha, you underestimate me too much. If anyone is going to rage on some Pirates, it's going to be me, no matter what. Who gives a heck about who I am?

Ah, well scratch that. I can say this about Pirates because of who I am. Don't you think for one second that you can do the same. Got it? Good. We wouldn't want any... Unnecessary blood being spilled, now do we?"

What is your purpose for meeting ouR captain? He is a busy man:

✩ "Eh? Do I really need a reason? Ugh. Everyone's got to be a critic. Fine then. I want to meet your Captain for the sole reason of joining this journey. That's pretty much it. Now, now, don't get all defensive. I have a little something I want to propose to your Captain as well."

It's not like I actually want to meet your Captain, though. But, orders are orders. And I get my jobs done, no matter what.

It’s a known superstition that women are bad luck on ships, so what makes you worthy to tag along?:

✩ "You know, I just finished polishing my swords over there. My beautiful swords that have slain far too many for me to count. And while I would hate to get them dirty again on such a short notice, I can make an exception. And trust me, you do not want to be that exception if you know what's good for ya.

Oh, you aren't actually scared now, are you? I thought you were supposed to be one of those strong pirates apart of one of the most famous crews in all the seven seas! Ha, that's what I thought. So next time, don't try and ask me if I'm worthy of being on this ship. Because I won't be as lenient.

But honestly though. If you said that to any girl, they'd be freaking pissed off! Like angry volcano gods blowing up the earth pissed off. No wonder you're subject to so much sass. It's like the Captain wanted you to get knocked down a peg or two. To which I say ha! You deserve it!

What you're confused? Eh. Everyone experiences it when they're with me."

what Lengths are you willing to go on This journey?:

✩ "As much as I feel like it, obviously. That's all apart of the adventure after all, otherwise things would be boring. Haha, and I've been told that my mood tends to be quite... Volatile."

KIM JUNKYU

"I'm a confident girl. And when I see something I want, I will get it. And nothing will stand in my way. Or in this case, Junkyu is trying to play hard to get... Or maybe he's just intimated of me. I mean, I would be intimidated by me too. It's a little annoying, I admit, but I enjoy the chase. But, I enjoy catching my prey more."

— Noh Aejeong about Kim Junkyu

PLOTLINE: The Crewman
BACKUP: The Missionary

NICKNAMES:

 JUN / JUNNIE / KYU

Jun, Junnie, and Kyu are simple nicknames for Junkyu, often used by those around him--but more commonly used by The Captain, Kazuma, and other close crew mates. Junkyu doesn't mind if anyone shortens his name, unless he's on bad terms with them.

SMILES

Junkyu is the kind of person who loves to smile, and has a very beautiful wide smile with pearly white teeth. He was given this nickname shortly after joining the Nightingale, and showing his relief at escaping his previous crew. This nickname is affectionately used by many of the older crew members on The Nightingale, and joking called his Alias, if they don't use his real name.

 LITTLE PRINCE / CHARMING

Have you not seen Junkyu before? He's a complete hit with the ladies, young or old. And, to his dismay, is completely and utterly teased about it by the other men on the Nightingale. And especially by Kazuma, who occasionally calls Junkyu 'your highness' after Junkyu has been swarmed by a crowd of enthralled woman.

 KIM KYUWON

This is the name that Junkyu used the one time he cross dressed as a girl for a sleuthing task he was given. Junkyu remembers the incident well, the Captain decided it was a good idea to make a good handful of the Nightingale Crew to dress as woman, with name and all, and enter some questionable places. He still has some nightmares.

LANGUAGES SPOKEN:

✩
HWAN / FLUENT
(Equivalent: Korean)

Being Jiā-Hwan, Hwan is Junkyu's native language that he grew up speaking when he still lived back home. For a short time, however, when he worked as a Power Monkey in his early teens, he lost his touch with Hwan. As he was practically banned from speaking it on the ship. However, upon joining The Nightingale with open arms, he quickly regained his fluency in Hwan.

The Hwan that Junkyu speaks in normally the Daegu Dialect, although he can also speak in the Standard Seoul Dialect.

VALGIAN / FLUENT
(Equivalent: English)

Junkyu did grow up with Valgian as his second language. Learning it from both his parents, and along the streets. For most of his childhood, he was simply conversational in the language, not knowing how to read or write. It was until he joined a Naval Ship, and at night he would be taught reading and writing by some of the kinder crew members.

The Valgian that Junkyu speaks is with a British European Styled Accent.

INOSHI / MODERATE
(Equivalent: Japanese )

Junkyu was actually taught how to speak Inoshi by the one and only Kawamura Kazuma, who would shortly become Junkyu's best friend after he joined The Nightingale. He has a decent enough grasp on all aspects of the language, and takes some time every week or so to practice it with Kazuma.

BIRTHDATE: Gildfall 9th, 1302 (18)

BIRTHPLACE: New Haven

ETHNICITY: Jiā-Hwan

HEIGHT: 180 cm
WEIGHT: 63 kg

APPEARANCE:

If there's one thing that comes to mind about Junkyu, it's probably his visuals. While it's a little embarrassing sometimes, he does use his handsome and cute appearance to his advantage.

Junkyu has a diamond-heart shaped face, smooth jawline, a slightly prominent chin, thin lips, and an upturned nose. His dark brown eyes are sharp with small double eyelids, and low-set rounded eyebrows. His hair is naturally black and smooth medium-length hair that he normally has styled with a parting between his bangs. Although when he is feeling especially lazy, his hair will stay in a simple bowl-cut-like style. When Junkyu is smiling, his dimples are very noticeable and one of his defining features. In any case, he does have a fairly distinct appearance.

He wears a simple chain earring on his left ear: x

He has a simple tattoo on the side of his right arm, in honor of his love and appreciation for music: x

Junkyu is often told that he has envy-worthy body proportions. He stands tall with a slender and toned body, with fairly broad shoulders. In terms of aura, he often exudes one that is easy-going, quiet, awkward, and shy in unfamiliar environments. But apparently he has been told that he seems mysterious and appealing to woman. Junkyu isn't saying that it isn't flattering, but it is a bit confusing.

FASHION:

As Junkyu is simply a Crewman, on a Pirate Ship of all things, he doesn't often get the chance to experiment with his fashion. So he often ends up wearing simple shirts, belts, finger less gloves, trousers, and a pair of comfortable boots.

However, when given the chance to try out different outfits, you can be a hundred percent sure that Junkyu will be one of the most enthusiastic. Junkyu likes to consider himself a bit of a fashionista, and does know a lot about the individual fashion styles of each country. In any case, in the modern world you would probably define Junkyu liking a chic and trendy style.

He enjoys wearing different types of hats and nice shoes. Additionally, Junkyu tends to be uncomfortable with showing too much skin, preferring modest styles the most. Although he is somewhat willing to try others.

"Junkyu is a bit of a paradox to me. Shy and clumsy one moment. but confident and resolute the next. It just might be because of teenage hormones, but it makes me curious."

— Noh Aejeong about Kim Junkyu

If one would describe Junkyu in a few words, it's that he's a happy virus, he's incredibly awkward, and very expressive and playful. Overall, he's simply just a nice guy to be around, and you don't need to try hard at all to like him. At first glance, usually by the ladies, he seems like a mature and stylish individual, and due to his handsome and cute visuals, it makes him a prime target whenever the crew makes stops at various ports and don't raid the place.

Junkyu is the kind of person who values the team over the individual. He's highly tolerant and patient, and will always listen to the opinions of others even if they contradict his own.

Around familiar and close friends, Junkyu shows himself as one of the most expressive and loud people you'll ever meet. He's generally very playful, and likes goofing off with his friends and older hyungs. Being one of the youngest [if not youngest] on The Nightingale, when he's not working, he uses his younger age to his advantage. To which because he's become well loved by the other members, he can get away with quite a few things. Well, at least without serious punishment. His hyungs like to joke about his teenage rebelliousness from time to time.

In terms of expressiveness, when he's comfortable, everything he does seems to be exaggerated. But it's all 100% natural, and only those who have known him for a time realize this. When he's in one of his moods, his emotions and feelings are very visible -- while also making him very interesting to watch. Especially when he gets stressed and starts just... Moving around, ruffling his hair, smacking his cheeks, and so on and so forth. In these moods of his, his normal down-to-earth demeanor, can be instantly replaced by one that is impulsive and spirited. But that doesn't happen too often.

Because of this, Junkyu can often be mistaken for being an extrovert with unbridled optimism. But that's merely the side of him that comes out when he's really feeling happy or comfortable, and with people he enjoys being around. In reality, Junkyu is quite pessimistic and cautious around many people. He can come off as very detached and rude at times -- but moreover he simply worries and worries and worries in his head.

However, in hindsight, Junkyu actually has a quiet and shy personality. He's generally uncomfortable with meeting new people, and shy's away from doing anything too weird or crazy. This is simply a natural defense and emotional mechanism for him, so in the beginning it can be difficult to know Junkyu simply because of his shy nature.

Furthermore, he is quite awkward. Whether it be stumbling over his words, speaking to a lot of people, losing, winning, getting compliments, and so on and so forth. He's just an awkward little duckling, and that's what makes him such an easy victim for other crew members to . Essentially, he is simply of a reserved nature. He doesn't talk very much and simply observes the world around him. In a way, this part of his personality was shaped by the fact that he worked a difficult and impoverish life for a long time, and had to remain submissive and obedient as not to cause any trouble for himself. But funnily enough, because he doesn't talk nearly as much as you would think, some had mistaken him for not being able to speak before.

Junkyu isn't the smartest kid on the street, but he does possess some analytical prowess and a strong common sense. He doesn't like doing things without reason or without knowing that everything will be fine on the other side. He greatly values stability and security, due to the fact that he wasn't able to experience it very much throughout his life.

Junkyu has a personality that tends to confuse other people sometimes, because he's either really self confident or he's really insecure. In reality, it's a mixture of both. Junkyu, himself, is more than content with his looks and his abilities are now, but he still wishes to improve because he definitely isn't the best. His self confidence stems from the fact that once he starts actually doing something, he doesn't worry about it. He just does it. But he'll worry 1000% up until the very last second. it's almost like a switch that he has in his brain.

But a good chunk of the time, Junkyu is insecure and sensitive with a fluctuating self esteem. He has a soft and eager to please personality, where he'll sacrifice a lot of his own time and effort to please the ones around him. And when he is unable to accomplish something successfully, he'll immediately become dejected and slither into a sad mood for awhile. Similarly, because of this, he has a hard time being truly blunt around others, and he normally chooses to sugar coat his words to avoid any risk of backlash.

Furthermore, he is very self conscious about himself. Always wondering inside his mind how he comes off to others -- and with being self conscious, he is also hyper aware of his own faults and insecurities. As a result, he tries his best to show off a cool and chic - like image, or a cute and friendly image. He tries to adapt to the tastes of others around him, once he gets to know them.

Junkyu is similarly, secretive and private. He finds it uncomfortable and hard to talk about his own feelings, and tends to put a smile on his face to ignore his emotional problems. As such, a lot of his own problems tend build up one after another, but because he dislikes troubling others with his problems, it causes a lot of stress on him. It's almost ironic because Junkyu is the kind of person who is both dependent and independent -- being dependent when around others, or independent when the role is forced upon him.

Despite everything, once Junkyu is forced onto a stage or a point of importance, he pulls out all the stops to appear full of charisma. Especially when he's at port surrounded by ladies, he'll turn into a flirtatious and playful teenager, a dramatic change from his demeanor on ship. It's alarming to watch, and Kazuma once smacked Junkyu in the head the first time he saw it. But, in retrospect, the fact that Junkyu can do that, it makes getting information or manipulating some influential young ladies easier. But trust me, Junkyu always rinses out his mouth once he gets back on ship. He gets embarrassed very easily, and especially due to his awkward feelings, he's basically bright red the moment those girls leave him alone.

Once again ironic, because Junkyu actually has a good grasp of romance and knows how to woo the ladies without a problem. He doesn't get embarrassed by the thought of loving someone, he just gets embarrassed when it's with people he doesn't really care about.

In any case, Junkyu is often seen as being quiet innocent in mind, and can act conservative at times -- but most of all his hyungs like to joke that he has split personalities, due to how drastic his personality changes depending the situation he's in. He can go from loud, dramatic, and expressive, to quiet, awkward, and shy, to down to earth and patient, to sad, sad, and sad. He rarely shows his anger on the outside, but when he does, he's the kind of person who shows his angry through a shrieking voice and words with some breaking here and there.

BACKGROUND:

CHAPTER ONE :: WHAT'S A HAVEN?

Life in New Haven, as you would expect, is absolutely terrible place to live if you aren't rich or a noble. It's as simple as that. And Kim Junkyu's family was no exception to that. His family moved to New Haven years before Junkyu had been birthed into the world, because his poor family was trying to escape the various battles over territory and thievery that plagued Jiayuan. While moving to New Haven wasn't that much of an upgrade, at least there were less battles every few days.

Kim Junkyu was born on Enneamri 9th, 1303, as the 5th Child out of 6th Children (4 boys and 2 girls) into a poor Hwan Family who immigrated to New Haven. And thus, he was immediately thrown into a harsh and difficult life. When he was around 6 years old, Junkyu and his brothers decided to resort to some underhanded thievery to try and help support their father who worked as a shoe shiner, and their mother, who worked as a domestic servant. This would go on for a couple of weeks, and due to their parents being endlessly busy to try and make ends meet, they never noticed their sons schemes.

It wasn't until Junkyu had turned 7 years old when his brothers and he had been caught stealing some fruit. Well, actually what happened was that Junkyu was trying to dissuade his older brothers from stealing these particular fruit, since they were exotic fruits that were extremely popular with the nobles, and it would be so much more noticeable if they were stolen. Unfortunately, his brothers didn't listen, and continued with their scheme. In the heat of the plan, the reluctant Junkyu, who had been standing watch, had been caught by one of the stall owners. Junkyu had began screaming, and that alerted his older brothers.

You would've thought that Junkyu brothers, whom he was close to, would've gone back to save him. But they didn't. Rather, his brothers took one look at him, and ran off, with a small bag full of fruits. How shocked and gobsmacked Junkyu was as he caught and pulled into a stall while being yelled at angrily by an old man. The city soldiers had also gotten involved, and a 7 year old Junkyu had to sit there, shivering in his thin clothes with tears threatening to be spilled.

Fortunately, since there was no real evidence and Junkyu wasn't really involved in stealing, Junkyu had been let loose. However, not with glares from practically everyone in the market place. So, dejected and quite angry, Junkyu trudged back to the small building he called home. But before he walked inside, he looked through the window, only to see his siblings all sitting together in a circle happily eating various foods, including the fruits. Feeling incredible annoyed and betrayed, Junkyu tried to open the front door, only to find it locked. And when he tried to bang on the door to catch his siblings' attention, no one came. So it took Junkyu sitting outside, until his parents came home. And by that time all of the foods had been eaten by his siblings. So when Junkyu tried to explain his situation to his parents, who had heard that Junkyu had gotten into trouble in the market, they refused to believe him.

From then on, Junkyu would have a very strained relationship with his siblings, especially his brothers. It was a very tense home life -- and while Junkyu himself is a kind and patient person, he could not completely forgive his brothers.  As scuh, Junkyu refused, from then on, to help with any of his brother's schemes, and rather tried to go with his parents to help them at their work. So even if Junkyu wasn't being paid, he was at least lessening the work load on his parents.

Over the next few years, his family lived normally -- with some spikes of crazy situations from time to time, but it was mostly fine. For Junkyu, the most dramatic things he would ever witness until he was 12 years old, was various Pirate Hangings that often took place in the center of the city. Junkyu, himself, was also disgusted not with the pirates, but by the boisterous laughter and insults that were said by the citizens of New Haven. Furthermore, the fact that they made Public Hangings such a public affair, something akin to parties, was absolutely disgusting in his mind.

Turning 12 years old, Junkyu was already sick of his home life. He loved his parents, but his siblings were gradually making his life unbearable, and he couldn't stand it. Sure, he still cared for them as they were family, but they were making it harder and harder with all of the stupid and irresponsible things they were doing. His brothers and long since got his sisters wrapped up into their schemes, and Junkyu knew it wouldn't be much longer before they got into real trouble.

That was when Junkyu noticed that there was a job posting for young boys who wanted to work on the sea, and make some money. Given that there weren't any required skills that they needed, Junkyu was interested, and he was getting desperate. He knew he wasn't the most skilled or the smartest. And honestly the best skill he currently had was playing a rutty old guitar that his late grandfather had given him before he died. Sure, Junkyu played well and people complimented his playing, but it didn't help make any coins. Besides, getting away from his siblings would be beneficial for his mental health.

It only took a few days, before Junkyu had been given one of the positions, and was invited to join the crew the next day, as the ship would leave port soon. Junkyu, being a naive 12 year old boy, was elated that he had actually gotten the job, and for a few days helped the crew pack and seal all of their packages and supplies. And it wasn't until the morning that he was supposed to leave with the crew to sail the seas, did he tell his family. While it was probably the most horrible thing to do to his parents, Junkyu wasn't thinking straight.

His family had been completely shocked, and attempted to stop the boy. However, Junkyu had already packed all of his essentials the day before, and before anyone could stop him, he had bolted out the door, raced through the town, and into the Naval Ship that he had been hired in. And, for a short time Junkyu had regretted his decision, but Junkyu now, 18 years old, can't imagine his life any other way.

CHAPTER TWO :: MONKEY, MONKEY, CLEAN YOUR SHEETS!

Life on the Naval Ship was nothing like Junkyu had imagined. While he never thought the life on the ship, as a 12 year old boy no less, would be easy, he didn't think it would be this hard. To be honest, one of the few things that kept Junkyu sane throughout his few years on the ship, were that he didn't have to deal wit his siblings, and that there were some decent people there too.

For the most part, after the ship had sailed off for the first time, Junkyu had been instantly ignored by any of the other naval soldiers, and only had another young boy and an older man to speak to. As the three of them were doing similar work. Even so, Junkyu was content. Not only did he not have to worry about his family anymore, but he could also have something akin to an adventure. In the beginning, the work wasn't that bad. Sure, disgusting and weird at times, but bearable enough.

It wasn't until a month had passed, when things fot really bad. He started getting treated very harshly by the other crew members, having various bruises and such on his body, and was always tired. The work was gradually getting more dangerous and more vigorous as time went by, and none of the naval officers did anything. All of Junkyu's injuries had been treated by an old man who helped navigate on the ship, and the other young boy who worked the same work Junkyu did.

For some time, Junkyu had fallen into a sort of depression. Going day by day simply doing his work, getting hurt, getting it treated, and going to sleep, and doing the same thing over and over again. But, in honestly, it was no different from his life back at home -- the only difference was being that he at least had his mother and father there to soothe his worries.

As the contract Junkyu had signed to lasted for three years, Junkyu ha to continue to live like this. Two of those three years had passed by, and Junkyu had only become more and more upset with what he had done to himself. He was also equally upset at everyone on this naval ship. The old man who had always helped him had passed a couple of months prior, and the other young boy who Junkyu had considered a friend had been severely injured and had to be let go early.

But one day, when Junkyu was 14 years old, he had been woken up with a start. Junkyu didn't think much of it, and tried to go back to sleep, but then roars of cannons came, and he tumbled out of his sleeping cot. Feeling dizzy and confused, Junkyu stumbled out onto deck after hastily pulling on his clothes. Only to find himself in a crossfire of guns and swords. And even then he didn't realize what was going on until a naval officer had grabbed him by the soldiers screaming what are you doing boy?! There are pirates on board!

At that moment, that naval officer had a sword struck right through his stomach, and Junkyu had fallen backwards in a fright, his mouth open in a silent scream. At that moment, the sword had been pulled out, and the dead officer's body had fallen onto the ground. And there, standing there, was a man wearing an unmistakable hat with confidence radiating from him. The man noticed Junkyu then, and took a step close to the boy. And Junkyu, not knowing what else to do, ahd pulled his arms up to try and defend himself in any way.

But the most strange thing in Junkyu's life happened then. The man had walked straight up to him, bent down, and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Do you want to come with me?"

It took Junkyu only a few seconds, but: "Yes."

Later, Junkyu had been taken by the man onto an entirely different ship, and had been sat down in a room, before the 14 year old boy realized that he had just been taken in by Pirates of all things. From then on, the young boy had started working on that ship. What else could he do? He was so far away from home, and the least he could do was help the man who took him away from his bleak life on the Naval Ship.

And when Junkyu had turned 15, he had truly been promoted to a full crewman. Gaining a new family along the way. And at this point, he didn't want to trade his life for anything else.

Junkyu, later in his life, asked the Captain of the Nightingale why he had taken Junkyu in the first place, when he could've killed him instead. The Captain had only smiled cheekily, stating that he already took in Kazuma, what would taking in another young soul be? And the Captain never told Junkyu about all the potential and life he saw in him for those first few moments. But, as it stands now, Junkyu doesn't mind.

TRIVIA:

✩ Junkyu is the kind of person who sees the good in everyone, or at least will try and search for it. He doesn't like seeing anyone has truly bad, although even Junkyu has his bad days where he just dislikes the world. (He doesn't like using the word 'hate'). In any case, this is why Junkyu likes to trust other people, he likes ot make friends. This is also why Kazuma often 'Kazuma Chops' him because of how naive Junkyu is.

✩ Junkyu plays the guitar extremely well, especially on an advanced technical level, which is a strange skill for someone like him to have. When Junkyu is done with all of his work, he'll have his guitar out and play songs for the rest of the crew to listen to. Similarly, he simply just loves music a lot, and it's a large part of his life. He is also, after all, a talented singer.

✩ He has a small notebook that he writes in, that has notes in Hwan, Valgian, and Inoshi. This is to help him so he doesn't forget these languages. Although, it's much easier than one would expect, because on The Nightingale, many other crew members know how to speak these languages.

✩ He enjoys hanging out with others near his age, because he can act the most silly and free around them. Well, besides with Kazuma and some other people.

✩ Junkyu loves scents, and he absolutely dislikes anything that he perceives as bad (which is why he likes to stay sanitary when he can). As such, he carries a small perfume with him every where he goes, that he can spray around. When Noha and Junkyu realize that they have this in common, they get a little closer and start comparing their favorite scents very seriously. It was alarming to watch.

✩ He keeps his own areas as clean as he possibly can, and gets annoyed if someone messes with his stuff.

✩ He has a habit of running his hand over and over again through his soft black hair whenever he's nervous, stressed, or simply in deep thought. For some reason it never messes up his hairstyle, and it makes a lot of people want to touch his silky locks. But Junkyu is used to people wanting to pet him, so it's okay.

✩ Junkyu is a light sleeper, and his favorite time of the day is during the late evenings and night.

✩ With close friends, Junkyu heavily enjoys skin ship and will often initiate this. This is why he likes hugging Kazuma, but it's okay since they're best friends and Kazuma honestly doesn't mind at all. Kazuma actually thinks it's quite endearing.

✩ "You're too tall. Stop growing!" is what Junkyu usually hears because he is one of the taller crew members on The Nightingale (give or take). But it's more apparent because Junkyu is also the youngest.

✩ Junkyu can snap and whistle very well. He enjoys snapping and whistling along to tunes, but can also make some interesting beats by himself.

✩ Junkyu has a love for spicy food. He also likes sweet foods very much.

✩ Believe or not, this boy knows how to knit and crochet. I know, it's such a huge shocker. He can knit pretty well too, because he was taught by his grandmother before he got a job.

✩ Junkyu also enjoys drawing. He's not the best, but he can create very visual and unique creations.

✩ Has a habit of giving finger hearts or making hearts with his hands and 'sending' them towards his fellow crew members.

RELATIONSHIPS:

BEST FRIEND - KAWAMURA KAZUMA

Junkyu likes to think that Kazuma and him immediately became best friends the moment they first met. Kazuma, on the other hand, would probably tell you that it took a couple of days to weeks before they really established their unshakable friendship. That, and the two of them have pretty similar personalities, so it was easy to get close.

Junkyu is the closest to Kazuma on the ship, and it shows. The two of them are almost always around each other, and while they're working they create an amazing team. Being able to work efficiently, quickly, and successfully without any other helping hand.

Because Kazuma is also one of the younger crew members on the ship, the two of the mess around and play games together when they have free time. In a sense, when the two of them are together they provide a form of child-like entertainment for the other crew members. Which is funny because you wouldn't normally expect Kazuma doing such things.

They have a (secret) best friend handshake that they do every time they meet up together or to greet each other in the mornings. x

The day there as a slave auction taking place near one of their frequent pub, Kazuma had suddenly detached himself from the group. Confused, Junkyu skipped followed after his best friend in confusion.

"A slave auction? You're interested in this Kazzy?" Junkyu had asked, using his frequent nickname for his best friend.

Kazuma had remained silent, and continued walking towards the stage where the auction was being held. So, sighing in exasperation, Junkyu could only stand by Kazuma's side. Although Junkyu was growing increasingly uncomfortable because there were many dwarves and goblins in the audience. I feel so sorry for these people. Junkyu had thought sympathetically to the people on the stage.

And then suddenly a young girl, probably around Junkyu's age, was suddenly walked on the stage. She was pretty enough, but she looked absolutely terrified, and Junkyu felt even worse for her, because he could see the lustful and drunken gazes of the other men in the audience.

But then at that very moment, Kazuma had stood up, raising his hand to bid.

"Huh-- Kazzy? What are you doing--"

There, Junkyu could only watched with a gobsmacked expression as his best friend, who was so good at saving money, basically use all of his savings to eventually buy her for himself. By the time the whole ordeal was down, Kazuma and Junkyu were both waiting in the back for the girl who Kazuma had bought. The entire time all Junkyu could think was:

I think Kazuma's finally gone mad. Yep, crazy as a fish on rum. He doesn't even lend some of his money to me to buy candy! But he used all of his earnings on this girl we don't even know? I mean sure, good for him because I know the girl will probably be in better hands with him, then some nasty goblin... but still!

Kazuma, noticing his best friend's panicked thoughts, and lightly 'Kazuma Chopped' Junkyu in the back of the head. Simply stating that everything was fine and that he had everything under control.

Junkyu would've never thought that his best friend would've actually fallen in love with the girl he bought. Then again, the thought was always in the back of Junkyu's head, but it was still surprising that one time Junkyu saw Kazuma and Panthea in one funny position. To which Junkyu turned beet red, and closed the door immediately, and Panthea had to run out and try to explain herself.

MENTOR - TERADA TAKUYA / CAPTAIN OF THE NIGHTINGALE

The Captain of the Nightingale is Junkyu's mentor, and probably the person who Junkyu respects the most apart from his own blood-family. In Junkyu's mind, he sort of sees the Captain as an older-brother figure whom he wants to be-like when he gets older.

Junkyu owes his rapidly improving fighting prowess and other pirate tricks and abilities, due to his mentor ship under the Captain. And believe me, when the Captain first offered to teach him, Junkyu was practically over the moon.

Junkyu is sometimes a little jealous of the close filial relationship Kazuma and the Captain has, but when he really thinks about it, Junkyu is amazed that they even let him inside their lives in the first place. And to be honest, both Kazuma and the Captain see Junkyu as family too.

PRINCESS - PANTHEA DIMITRIOU

When Panthea first met Junkyu, the first thing he did was bow his head and apologize for her situation, as well as the fact that the other man besides him had bought her. But before Panthea could say anything else, Junkyu had smiled had stated that even if the situation was unconventional, Kazuma would (probably) take good care of her, so "Don't worry your head about it! You're in good hands! And plus, I'll be there if he does anything weird-- Hey!" When Kazuma once again "Kazuma Chopped' Junkyu in the head, Panthea couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

Due to their similar age and somewhat similar personality in terms of temperament, the two of them actually get along well. And Junkyu can even relate to Panthea a little bit more than others due to their similar ages. Although, even Junkyu has to admit that he understands nothing about her mother country or nobility. He does, however, have an interest in learning about it.

Junkyu is 10000% the biggest KazThea shipper there is in the entire world. As if his numerous teasing and kissy faces in their direction weren't obvious enough. Once Panthea and Kazuma start to get closer, he takes it upon himself to be their Devoted Wing man. Because you always need that obnoxious and kind best friend to get things moving along.

LOVE STORY:

"Noha... She's different from all the girls I've met before. She could magically turn into a guy, and she'd still be the same scary, intimidating, and strong person she is now... Not that it's an insult! It's definitely not an insult! Anyways, I'm not really sure how to act around her. Not in a bad way though! I can be comfortable around her, but... Noha... Aejeong... She's just so confident, and so... so... Her... I can't even describe it myself. And I just get these... These weird feelings in my chest that I've never felt before."

— Kim Junkyu about Noh Aejeong

CHAPTER ONE :: AIM AND FIRE

"That's Noha, daughter of the Captain from The Crimson Storm. They call her The Maiden of Swords... It'd be best for you to avoid her."

— Kawamura Kazuma to Kim Junkyu

From a of luck, Noha had been admitted into the crew, and was slowly settling into her new life on the Nightingale, although the entire time the order of her father rang through her ears. And for the first three days, she spent her time looking out into the sea and wondering how exactly she was going to sabotage the inner workings of the Nightingale Crew one by one, so her own crew could rule the seas and the brotherhood.

And finally, after that third day, the idea came to her, or at least the place where she would start. She watched as Kazuma, the first mate of the Nightingale that she had meet prior, was interacting happily with another boy who she hadn't noticed before. This new boy, while he was handsome, that isn't why he had caught her attention. It was the fact that practically everyone on the crew, while not obviously, was watching Kazuma and the boy affectionately.

And now, all Noha could think was: gain the trust of someone easy to manipulate and integral to the crew. In this case, that victim had to be the one known as Junkyu, who Noha would learn soon after was younger than her too. And in Noha's history, teenage boys were always the easiest to wrap around her fingers. And so, with a beautiful smile on her face, her hair curled around her shoulders, and wearing her favorite perfumes, she strode over to Junkyu who was sitting alone on deck writing away in his notebook.

"Hello."

Junkyu had jolted up in surprise and his notebook had fallen to the floor. Eyes wide, he looked up in a frazzled daze at the beautiful young woman who had approached him with an amused grin. he blinked for a few moments. Kazuma had told him to avoid her, and that's what he'd be doing. But what could he do now that she was the one who approached him?

"U- Uh... H- Hello?"

CHAPTER TWO :: CHANGE OF HEARTS

"How about we have a spar for real? Everyone's staring at us anyways, might as well give them a show?"

— Kim Junkyu to Noh Aejeong

At this point, to Junkyu's confusion, Noha began approaching him so many times, and each time spending a large chunk of her time to simply speak with him. Then coupled with the fact that Kazuma (and everyone else on the crew) kept telling him to stay away from her, and that Noha was basically his opposite in every way. And so he was so completely and utterly confused.

For some time, he kept trying to avoid her. He really, really tried...

But, even Junkyu had to admit that she was one hell of a company. She was funny, she was different, she was unique, she was brave, and he was a total breath of fresh air, even in the world of piracy. And, in a roundabout way, Junkyu was slowly finding himself more and more interested in getting to know just who exactly Noha was as a person. She was just such an anomaly. As for Noha, she found Junkyu good enough company. He seemed to adapt well, and was fun to be around. She found his awkward and shy nature, especially around her, to be entertaining -- and he just seemed so innocent and cute, that for a moment Noha thought how much she'd like to pinch his cheeks. And after he got more comfortable wit her, he began obliging in Noha's own antics. it was... It was fun.

One of the defining points in their growing friendship (although stronger on Junkyu's end), is when they spar for the first time. Noha had noticed that Junkyu was getting ready to spar with Kazuma, when her eyes just started sparkling. Sparkling more than Junkyu had ever seen her eyes sparkle before. And, as embarrassed as Junkyu is to admit it, those eyes of her's made his heart jump.

"Do you... Do you want to spar?"

Junkyu asked. Noha, falsely acting bashful, declined the offer. But when Junkyu asked once again, she jumped at the chance.

"Well, if you insist... But let's take it easy?"

Junkyu had laughed. And for a couple of minutes, the two of them simply danced around each other, as if they were playing games but with swords. And in those few minutes, as the two of them were laughing and giggling together as they weren't even sparring similarly with Kazuma watching with raised eyebrows, a crowd starting gathering around them. When Junkyu noticed, his laughter had stopped, and Noha's stopped a moment after. The two of them stared in confusion at the crowd of other Nightingale Crew Members -- and even the Captain was there to watch.

"How about we have a spar for real? Everyone's staring at us anyways, might as well give them a show?"

Junkyu had asked.

"Are you sure? I don't know if you could handle me fighting for real."

Noha smiled cheekily. Junkyu had simply raised his sword in a challenge, as the rest of the crew started placing bets. Well, not the Captain, who simply smiled in the background.

The fight was an intense one, and the crew was roaring in cheers. And Noha had to admit that Junkyu was a pretty good fighter, who knew how to pull the stops and different tricks to get his way. So, feeling a mischievous mood, Noha decided to lower her skills for a moment. And the second Junkyu had thought he had one, Noha had instantly turned the tables. And a second later, he was lying on his back, with Noha's knee placed on his chest, and her sword at his throat with a  cheeky smile.

It was quiet for a moment. And suddenly, there was nothing but cheers. It was in that way, once Noha had helped Junkyu to his feet, she had been accepted into the crew. Red faced and all, Junkyu was all smiles. And, staring Junkyu in the eyes, for just a moment, Noha allowed her heart to beat. Allowed herself to forget what she came here to do.

And so, with this sense of happiness, she had pulled Junkyu down to her head, and with her lips so close to his ear she whispered:

"Aejeong."

"W- What?"

"Aejeong. Noh Aejeong. That's my name."

And with another teasing smile, she lightly tossed the handle of her sword to Kazuma, and walked away. And Junkyu, with his lips pressed tightly together, many thoughts ran through his brain. But there's one thing for sure. He... He liked her far more than he'd like to admit.

From then on, the two of them just interact more and more with each other. And, to Noha's surprise, she doesn't even need to think about her 'motives' anymore, she actually just wants to be around him. And that's that. And it confuses her. It confuses her so much.

CHAPTER THREE :: BLOODLESS

"What part of 'I'm done with you'\ do you not understand! Whatever we had was a lie! It wasn't real! Get that through your thick skill already!"

— Noh Aejeong to Kim Junkyu

For a time now, Noha had become accustomed to the Nightingale. And for a time, she forgot about what she was there to do. How uncharacteristic of her, but she found happiness and she found new friends. And after experiencing all of this, Noha had to admit that she felt so much more free here. No expectations. Just adventure. And even if her father, her other family, and her friends were on The Crimson Storm, Noha just felt at peace here. It was different, and it was refreshing. And Noha felt guilty for thinking this way.

Finally, the Nightingale had stopped by the Piranha isles, and Noha had gotten off at the port with the rest of the crew. All of the celebrating for a successful raid or mini adventure. And, funnily enough, Noha found herself glued right next to Junkyu's side, and was having so much fun. However, all of the suddenly from the corner of her eye in the pub, she saw Nephele. What was she doing here? The older woman stared at Noha for a moment, before walking away. So Noha, as normal as possible, excused herself from the table, giving Junkyu an affectionate pat on the back, before walking out to find Nephele.

It took some time, but Noha had followed the back of Nephele, until she was a few streets down from the pub. Then, Nephele stopped.

"Neph, what are you--"

"Have you forgotten what you came here to do?!"

Suddenly, from the shadows, Delmar had appeared, and had placed his hands on her shoulders. His eyes angry and fierce.

"Have you forgotten?!"

Silent, Noha simply stared up at the man she called her uncle, taken aback by the cruel gaze he was giving her. And like that, all of the memories that she made on the Nightingale came back to her. And the finally, the memory of the task that her father had given her.

Destroy the Nightingale from the inside. And come back to me, and we'll rule the sea.

"N- No. I did not forget!"

Noha's voice stuttered for a moment, before it stabled. Both Delmar and Nephele stared at at Noha with unblinking faces. Then, Delmar smiled, and placed a loving hand on top of her head.

"That's my girl."

With that, Noha returned back to the pub. All smiles as if nothing had happened, and when Junkyu had asked her if anything had happened, she simply shook her head and said it was nothing. Junkyu drew his brows together, because she had been gone for over half an hour. But, he was distracted again by the loud party-going in the pub.

While no one could tell, something in Noha had changed. Her priories changed once again for the nth time. She wasn't gone for a long time for no reason, after all.

"I'm really a terrible person."

"H
uh? Did you say something?"

"Just about how cute you are~"

For a some time, everything proceeds as normal... Until...

It was midnight. Noha, having planned this night ever since she met again with Delmar and Nephele, had walked onto the deck, all dressed with her two swords sheathed at her sides. This was really happening. She took a deep breath. For the past few days, she had been preparing herself, and no one had suspected a single thing.

It was then when she saw another ship appear in the distance, one far to familiar for her. The ship had silently sailed right next to the Nightingale, and before long, Noha wasn't standing by herself anymore. Now, all of the highest ranking members of The Crimson Storm were standing in front of her. All of them staring at her expectantly.

"Do you have it?"

"Of course I do. Just who do you take me for?"

Noha cackled, before opening up her satchel to reveal various documents and items that were very valuable to the Nightingale Crew, and their quest to become the top. Delmar had nodded approvingly, giving Noha a satisfied pat on the back. Before moving his arms as a signal to the rest of the Crimson Storm crew.

At that moment, the crew members had silently walked on board of the Nightingale, and in no time at all, Nightingale members were being thrown on top of the deck on their knees in their sleeping clothes with guns poised behind their heads. And some struggled, but were instantly subdued. Everyone on The Nightingale was confused and panicked. Wondering why no one had noticed that this had happened. Junkyu was confused especially, as Kazuma and the Captain were spitting out word after word after word. But most of all, he was trying to find where Noha was. And when he finally laid eyes on her, he could only stare.

Standing there, in all her glory, was Noha. She was untied. She wasn't in any harm... And it didn't take very long for everyone to realize that she was in league with the intruders.

"What is the meaning of this?!"

There, Delmar had taken the lead. briefly taking about how naive the Nightingale Captain was, for allowing someone like Noha to be accepted into their crew. How they should've been more observant, more cautious. The entire time this was going on, Noha kept a blank face, until she placed a malicious grin on her face when Delmar wrapped an arm around her shoulder for her to speak.

The entire Nightingale Crew felt betrayed, but no one felt as horrible as Junkyu did. he was too shocked, too unbelieving that the girl who he had come to fallen in love with for the first time in his life, would do such a thing.

At that moment, Delmar concluded that the Nightingale would be no more, and they would leave the crew stranded on a desolate island to starve and die. The Nightingale would be no more. When asked why not just kill them now, especially with the Crimson Storm's reputation, Delmar had just smiled cruelly.

"I thought that we'd let you keep some of your dignity."

At that, everyone in the Nightingale Crew was tied up, and the ship tied to the back of The Crimson Storm. The main officers of the Crimson Storm started back to their own ship then. Noha, however, hadn't moved from her spot. Not staring at anyone, but simply at the stars above her. She could hear the harsh words full of betrayal from the Nightingale crew. but Noha couldn't bring herself to show ay emotion on her face.

That is until...

"Noha! Noha! I know this isn't you! Please!"

That was Junkyu's voice. And at the sound of the voice that she had come to love, Noha turned her head to stare into his eyes. his beautiful eyes, with shaking irises and quivering lips. I put that expression on his face. When Noha stayed silent and started to turn away, Junkyu screamed out again.

"Why? Why?! What about all we had? What about... What about everyone here?! You can't just walk away from all this! AEJEONG!"

At the sound of her real name, she twisted her entire body around. Her gaze burning in fury.

"Shut up. Shut the f*** up! I'm done with all of you! I'm done with you!"

Everything was silent when Noha spoke, her voice full of arrogance and full of nothing but ice. However, the moment she finished, Junkyu just kept screaming. He just kept on screaming. And a member of the Crimson Storm was able to smack Junkyu on the back of the head, why Noha held up her hand. That crew member stopped, and in just a few seconds, Noha had walked up to Junkyu, and with the fabric of his shirt bundled in her fists she growled:

"What part of 'I'm done with you' do you not understand! Whatever we had was a lie! It wasn't real! Get that through your thick skill already!"

And with that, she threw him down on the ground, earning murderous glares from every direction, and traveled back to the ship that was truly her home.

CHAPTER FOUR :: CHANGE OF TIDES

"It hurts... It hurts so much... Why? Why do I feel this way? I shouldn't be feeling this way... Right?"

— Noh Aejeong to Raylen Darger and Wali Singh

After the Nightingale Crew had been left stranded on a random island in the middle of nowhere, Noha simply felt empty inside. She was welcomed back with open arms, everyone she had known since childhood clapping her on the back and praising her for a job well done. Now they were perfectly on track to becoming the best crew in the seven seas. To become apart of the King's crew.

When Noha saw her father again, he looked worse. He looked so much more sickly, but before Noha could even try to think about what was going on, or why no one was able to fix him up, he had placed a loving hand on her's

"I'm proud of you."

Her father had said. Stating how she should be happy, because she had practically assured the triumph of The Crimson Storm.

But Noha didn't feel happy. She didn't feel happy, even though she told herself that she had to be. How strange is that? She was more confused than she had ever been in her entire life. In the past, she could brush away these kinds of things without a care, but now, she couldn't stop thinking about those looks she had gotten from the people she had been around for the past few [months]. And she especially couldn't stop thinking about the look Junkyu had given her.

And so, she spent a lot of her time locked inside her room, training, or trying to pretend that she was alright to Raylen and Wali. To which those two were more than aware that Noha wasn't in the best spirits.

A week had passed, and for a brief moment, Noha thought that she was okay. That everything was alright. Until karma decided to bite her back in the .

Suddenly, she had been jolted awake, and had been thrown on deck in nothing but her nightgown. Freezing in the cold air, Noha looked up through her messy hair to see Delmar standing there in all his glory. but what really made Noha's eyes widen, was the fact that her father was also on his knees, his hair being held up by Delmar. The rest of the Crimson Storm Crew standing behind him.

"W- WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!"

Noha screamed, her eyes moving back and forth. Her eyes had caught the gazes of Raylen and Wali, who were standing there with lowered gazes. Delmar and only laughed, bringing his head backwards to stare at the sky, before looking at Noha with cruel eyes.

"I simply took your idea. It works rather well, don't you think?"

From there, Noha could only watch in horror as Delmar began to recount everything. How he had purposely told Byungho to sail through the seas, saying that there wouldn't be a storm and simply a walk in the park. How he poisoned his mother the day before she had given birth, and how Noha had unfortunately lived through the ideal. How he caused Byungho's sickness now. And how he turned the whole crew against her and her father. And how he was going to become the Pirate King, showing Noha the pirate token he had taken from her father.

At at that final sentence, Delmar called for someone to hand him a sword. And Noha could only scream as someone held her back. Her father, right before the light left his eyes, stared right at Noha, love and regret in his gaze.

"STOP! STOP! STOP!"

It was done, and Noha sat there listlessly. Wondering about how stupid she had been. How she should've realized this beforehand. There were so many telling points, she realized. There were so many, from her childhood to now. But she always... She always thought it was fine. She scolded herself for her stupid and naive personality, as tears silently streamed down her eyes.

At that moment, Delmar had walked up to her, blood glistening off his sword, and tilted up her chin with her hand.

"Noha... My dear Noha... Thank you so much, for being my greatest pawn."

The sword was about to come down. And then, Noha made her move. She had been loosening the restraints on her wrists the entire time she was sitting there listlessly, and the moment she saw the sword move, she twisted to the side, kicked out her legs, and Delmar fell backwards. The sword he had fell out of his hands, and Noha grasped it right before it fell to the ground. Everyone in the crew began drawing their swords as Noha pointed her sword at Delmar's throat.

"Just try." Delmar had cackled, "Just try and kill me." as he was confident that she would've been shot before she could've done anything, no matter how could she was.

Noha glared for a moment, and pulled back the sword slightly. But just as the triumphant grin appeared on Delmar's face, she kicked him as hard as she could. Causing him to scream out in pain.

The next few moments came like a blur. Before her father had been brutally killed in front of her, Noha had been able to catch Wali and Raylen's gaze. And from that brief gaze, Wali and Raylen had both disappeared from the rest of the crew. And had secretly prepared a spare boat while everyone else was preoccupied with Delmar's speech. And now, they were simply waiting for her to make their move, so they could make an escape.

In those next few moments, Noha had ducked when a bullet zoomed past her figure, and the rest of the crew she used to consider her family started to come at her. But at that same moment, some of the crew who were still loyal to her father decided to rebel. Which, sending grateful glances, allowed Noha to run (nightgown and slippers and all), and jumped into the boat as Wali and Raylen started lowering the boat down to the water.

The last thing Noha roared to the crew was:

"IT'S AEJEONG, NOT NOHA YOU BASTARDS!"

From that, the three of them on that boat, which was coincidentally stoked with food and fresh water, began trekking towards the closest country. Which, so happened to be the Piranha Isles. Their escape coming along smoothly thanks to the skirmish that was happening on the boat. And, with a shaky breath, Aejeong announced that they had to find the Nightingale.

Unfortunately, Delmar had retaken control of the ship and killed all of the rebels.

In regards to the Nightingale Crew, they were able to escape from the Island, which happened to be full of natives. [Think the POTC movies] and were helped by another Pirate Crew who owed themselves to the Nightingale.

ENDING :: UNDER THE STARS

"I'm not asking to be apart of the crew. I'm not asking to stay by your side. I'm not asking for you to trust me. But... I... I want you to forgive me. But... If you can't... I understand... And I'll leave--"

— Noh Aejeong to Kim Junkyu

Essentially, what happens here is that Aejeong, alongside Wali and Raylen find the Nightingale Crew on the Piranha Isles. The three of them are not treated nicely, with Kazuma actually grabbing Aejeong by the collar and readying himself to punch her. Right before he sees the look she's giving him.

The highlight is that The Nightingale Captain agrees to work with Aejeong, Wali, and Raylen to defeat Delmar and the Crimson Storm Crew after hearing her story. Not necessarily to help Aejeong, but to get back his stolen items, as well as the Nightingale Ship, which The Crimson Storm Crew still has.

Insert battle, insert victory, insert throwing Delmar into the sea, insert another step closer for the Nightingale Captain and Crew to gain the Crown of the Brotherhood. The final words the Captain says to Delmar being "You should've killed us while you had the chance." After the battle, the Nightingale Crew celebrates. All of them cheering and clapping each other on the backs for a job well done. While Aejeong stands off to the side, standing in between Wali and Raylen, and watching it all with sad eyes.

She betrayed these people. And she had the nerve to ask them for help again. There was no way that she could ask them to do anything else. And most of all, the entire time she had worked with The Nightingale Captain, she couldn't bring herself to talk wot Junkyu. Who she sent longing gazes to each time she saw him, but each time he would look away. And each time Kazuma would give her deadly looks, and lead Junkyu away. But, Aejeong, before the battle, was getting desperate to apologize. She had apologized to the rest of the crew, who hadn't forgiven her fully, but accepted her apology. Junkyu, however, was no where to be seen when she apologized.

So, with the help of her pet Kai, Aejeong would sent small notes and letters to Junkyu's personal bedside table. It may have been inside the ship, but Kai has been taught to be a quiet flyer. But, even after so many little letters, not trying ot explain herself, but trying to apologize, Junkyu didn't approach her.

Which is why Aejeong was so scared when Junkyu started walking up to her while the crew was celebrating. Wali and Raylen, having heard about this situation, gave Aejeong encouraging claps on the shoulder, before walking away. Leaving an awkward and timid Aejeong and a silent and reserved Junkyu alone from the celebrating. It was so strange to see how the roles have changed.

The two of them stood there in silence. Before Aejeong couldn't take it anymore.

"I'm not asking to be apart of the crew. I'm not asking to stay by your side. I'm not asking for you to trust me. But... I... I want you to forgive me. But... If you can't... I understand... And I'll leave--"

Tears were starting to slip from her eyes now, and apologizes started bubbling down about how she shouldn't be crying and how she didn't deserve his forgiveness. But then, Junkyu cupped her face with both of his hands, his eyes so much more mature then she had ever seen before.

"Just shut up for a moment."

And let me tell you, it was a very effective way of shutting Aejeong up.

After that... Surprise me! I'm hoping for a happy ending~

— Noh Aejeong to Kim Junkyu

As of the beginning of the story and for a good chunk of the plot, they're in a sort of cat and mouse chase, with Noha being the cat and Junkyu being the mouse. But despite this endless chase that is very entertaining for others to watch, the two of them gradually built a stable friendship--although both begin to slowly have crushes on each other, something that Noha simply thought was impossible for a person like herself. However, after the events of CHAPTER THREE, FOUR, AND THE END, their dynamics change dramatically. Until, well, it becomes one of undoubted trust, communication, and, dare I say it, love.

8. He's too good for me. Too good. I don't deserve him.
9. I can't like him. I can't... Love him.
10. Betrayal. I'll get over it.
11. I can't stop thinking about him.
12. I want to find him.
13. I want him to forgive me.
14. He doesn't need to forgive me. He doesn't need to like me. He doesn't need to feel the way I do... I don't deserve that much.
15. I'm sorry.
16. ...
17. I can't promise that I won't hurt you again. But I promise you that I will try to give you everything you deserve. I promise I will try my very best, because I know I can't give you everything you deserve.
18. I love you.

But I believe that you can get the gist. I think that their real interactions will blossom and develop as you start writing them.

LAST COMMENT: Forgive me for all of the reading that I have forced you to do. I know it's a lot, and it means a lot that you've taken the time to actually go through it! [It takes so long to scroll through, dang]. This is honestly the longest application that I have ever written -- wow. I just got a ton of inspiration to write about Noha, and I just fell in love with writing about her and Junkyu so I tried my best to develop the both of them as detailed characters -- I just you can just say that I'm really excited about everything. So I really hope that you enjoy Aejeong (Noha) and Junkyu as much as I do!

Feel free to twist and tweak anything here! I didn't write it all perfectly from what I imagined, but I wanted to get this done for you! I definitely hope I gave you enough to work with -- especially with Noha herself and the whole love interest section. For Noha, I was trying to deliberately go for a girl that's simply all over the place, she's unpredictable, violent, mischievous, and a ton to deal with. So, in a way, she sets herself apart from everyone else because she doesn't really had a strong set of morals (apart from Piracy traditions), and she does her own thing without thinking of the consequences.

Ahhh, I strayed from romance a lot and went more to plot in the LI section. I just got a lot of inspiration again, so I hope that nothing was too cliche or angsty.  But I definitely hope that you'll have fun writing about these two -- I do think that it's an interesting dynamic because Noha is the one chasing after Junkyu.

Some things may or may not line up perfectly, but I hope everything still makes sense. I did write a ton, so hopefully my brain didn't make any too mistakes. On top of that, I really hope that everything isn't too complicated! I'll do my best to fully explain anything if it doesn't make sense. Such as the fact that after Noha escapes from The Crimson Storm [Chapter Four: Change of Tides], she starts referring to herself as Aejeong, and has everyone else refer to her as Aejeong as well. She's a new person now. And also, after the whole battle during [Ending: Under the Stars]. Aejeong is once again in control of the ship. So what can happen is that after reconciling with Junkyu, Aejeong merges together the Crimson Storm and the Nightingale with the approval of the Nightingale Captain, ro Aejeong rebuilds her crew. Or something else. You can have creative control here!

And once again, I really hope that you like my characters, and I'm so excited for this story to start! [And wow, I really talk a lot.]

Showing some love for YG Treasure Box, because why the heck not? I am hooked on the show!

SCENE REQUESTS:

✩ Noha wondering aloud, "Why is it always the mother that ends up dying? Are we all cliches? Maybe it's because of the hair style..." and no one really has an answer for her, but someone ends up laughing.

✩ While Noha is standing up, after sitting in a circle with many of the other girls on the crew and other crew members. And one of them notices the rose-like pattern on Noha's side as her shirt rides up slightly. That person suddenly gasps, and asks Noha on the spot, about the tattoo. To which the others get interested [Junkyu blushes], when Noha lifts the side of her shirt so they can get a better look. She reveals that she drew the intricate design herself, and knows how to do tattoos on other people. Maybe she ends up giving a simple tattoo to someone?

✩ All of the Jia-Hwan members of the crew start talking in Hwan, and all of the foreign members are just confused.

✩ Noha trying to teach help the Sail Master do his job.

✩ Noha having a stare down with The Nightingale Captain. It ends up turning into a staring contest, and neither of them win because both are too competitive.

✩ A mini adventure that includes a huge waterfall and a huge cliff, and someone needs to jump. Before anyone can say anything, Noha screams out that she'll do it, and jumps. After she lands safely in the water, others start jumping down as well. it's really fun, and then right after they continue with their journey.

✩ Noha sees the Mermaid, and immediately thinks about the bounty that a mermaid could get. So, Noha does her best to get on the Mermaid's good side. Ends up actually becoming good friends.

✩ Kazuma and Junkyu (+ Captain) bonding moments please.

✩ Noha gets to see Junkyu interacting with other girls for the first time, and watches with an eye raised as he shows off his flirty side. When Junkyu is done, and detaches himself form the group of girls', he has a small hope that Noha might be jealous. But instead, she claps a hand on his shoulder, and with a serious gaze, compliments him on seducing practically all of them, and how impressed she was in the change of demeanor. (Insert someone laughing in the background.) But as Noha starts to get closer to him, she starts getting jealous, but doesn't show it. For Junkyu, however, when he sees Noha pulling moves on other guys, he gets jealous and has to have Kazuma shake it outta him.

✩ After Aejeong and Junkyu are officially 'an item', the crew finds themselves celebrating once again. And, just in caution, Junkyu keeps his hand on Aejeong's waist the entire time, not that she particularly minds. But after Junkyu leaves to play some games with the other men (pool or something), a man who Aejeong had seduced once long ago comes up to her, and tries to flirt. Aejeong instantly waves the man off, completely uninterested. When that man realizes that Aejeong actually has someone 'real', he still goes on and tries to force himself upon her. Junkyu realizes this after one of the girls run up to him to tell the news. But as Junkyu reaches the scene, he sees the man trying to convince her to come along anyways because shes done it before, but Aejeong angrily snap at the man before kicking him straight in the face with a loud huff.

✩ More to come..?
