Congratulations to Mirai Shida

To Mirai Shida fans, we’re probably congratulating her because she had been working in the film industry since young, and it’s about time for this to happen. But to most Mirai Shida and Ryosuke Yamada fans (or Mirai Shida and another actor), the ship has officially sunk.

If you didn’t know and are a fan of Mirai Shida, the good slashed sad news is that she is…

…married.

Let’s all have a moment to ourselves, please.

*clears throat*

This blog post is not to share the information and have everyone attack her and her husband. No, this blog post is to share the bittersweet news and to congratulate her.

My stories, two of them, have revolved around her and Ryosuke Yamada, one of the biggest Japanese ships in the Japanese film industry (along with Jun Matsumoto and Mao Inoue). *sighs*

Now that she’s married, I don’t have the energy nor the willingness to pair her up with Ryosuke anymore. Oh, what to do.

I already had her in another story with him…*cries*

Sorry to get a bit more personal, but she was the first Japanese actress I loved to watch because her acting was so natural and so great. And she was only just a kid (her acting’s still great, btw)!

I have really high standards to actually like an actor and truly believe that they have some high-caliber acting (i.e. Jisung from Kill Me, Heal Me). I mean, I like a lot of actors, but it’s mainly because they’re cute, pretty, handsome, or portrayed their character just enough (sorry if I offended anyone, but it’s a personal taste thing).

Anyway, I don’t want to dwell much on this bittersweet news because I’m very, very heartbroken, lost, and hopeless right now, but I do want to let the rest of the Yamashi community to know of this sunken ship.

Oh, If you’ve been following the Japanese media, don’t you think so many people are getting married this year? First was Mirei Kiritani and Shohei Miura, then Shota Matsuda and Kozue Akimoto, and now Mirai Shida and her non-celebrity husband.

Who’s next?

My Ryosuke?

Kento Yamazaki?

Haruma Miura?

Takeru Sato?

Ryunosuke Kamiki?

Taishi Nakagawa?

Kazuya Kamenashi?

Yuki Furukawa?

(and plenty more!)

I don’t want my Japanese hunks to marry yet! Not until I can fly to Japan and meet them and tell them how much I love them first! (no, seriously…)

Okay, fine. Enough of my whining.

Congratulations, Mi-chan!

P.S.

I need help with one thing.

Since our ship has sunk, I would like to ask if anyone has any good ship for me to follow other than JunxMao (I like them too, but I need more ships to work with, haha) and for me to use as a replacement for my new and unpublished story.

It can still be a pairing with Ryosuke…though, honestly speaking, writing a story without a “Mi-chan” will break my heart…

And yes, with this news, I am going to retire Mirai Shida as a character pairing with Ryosuke. I know many authors could still write with a pairing despite one of the pairings having a real-life boy/girlfriend, but I don’t think I could find the energy to do so. If I were to write another Yamashi story, at the back of my head, I will always know that Mirai is married to someone who is not Ryosuke. I’m sure Yamashi readers would do the same. They would read the story but know that in reality, Mirai’s a married woman whose husband is not Ryosuke.

I may say this, but I think it may be temporary. I do hope that one day, I could write another Yamashi story. But I can’t guarantee it.

Nevertheless, I am still a fan who congratulates her. I was worried that she’d be a workaholic and would never start a family of her own. Now that my wish came true, but a bit too soon, I’m a bit overwhelmed with shock and happiness.

To my fellow Yamashi shippers, no matter how much tears we shed, it won’t be enough to sail the ship to land.

Once again to Mirai Shida, CONGRATULATIONS!

I found this blog of yours just now and to be honest even if almost 3 years had past since mirai married, i still feel sad that we cant be the same as before with our ship (YamaShi). But actually, i have been (still been) writing yamashi fanfics. I have tried looking for other pairs to get hook up with but it was a struggle. I cant love any other pair as much as i love YamaShi and i keep falling back to it. I am so used to the feeling i cant let go. So yes, i still write yamashi fanfics until now. I respect mirai’s marriage so i wont be hoping for them to end up one day coz i know that’s impossible now but it seems like i cant stop writing yamashi fanfics still (and ship them)

My ship-heart is broken </3 T.T
But, the news about her married and Ryosuke has a girlfriend came at almost the same time, Somehow that gave me a little comfort (does it even make sense? lol)
I still have stories with Yamashi pairings.... and I think I still will finish those, but I'm sure I wouldn't be able to make any new story with their pairing T.T
Rest in peace my Yamashi-ship....
And congrats to both Ryosuke and Mirai....
