green tea macchiatos in starbucks tumblers. holographic tote bags. fluttering eyelashes, extended and curled lovingly with care. always coming at least ten minutes late for every single event, strolling in shamelessly and slamming the door open trilling "the party don't stop 'till i walk in". fishnet stockings and dark red lipstick. having to add dramatic flair to everything. not being able to stay still for more than five minutes. a smug expression constantly awash. extreme pride and a fickle heart, never able to settle on just one decision.

jeon hyeri + literally no one calls her this, calypso being a third generation korean-american. it's not even in her birth certificate tbh but her parents thought it was important to gift her with a korean name, even if unofficial anyway. the only time she used this in her life was when she attended korean school back when she was younger. she doesn't really identify with this name, so if you shout "hyeri!" from across the corridor she won't think you're talking to her and simply continue walking on. caly + calypso really likes her name, and hence detests any shortened abbreviation of her name, but that doesn't stop people from calling her this anyway just because - the name calypso can get so much of a mouthful to pronounce after a while. she responds to this with a grumble and a surly "what". cj + this is the more accepted version of calypso's shortened name, cj standing for calypso jane. this is what most of the annoying frat boys and whoever can't pronounce her name properly call her.birthdate july 31st, 1999 leo

bangs perfectly curled and a pair of inquisitive eyes, a catty grin that always seems to be calling out for trouble, people always say that their first impression of calypso is that she seems a bit.... much, her tendency to size someone up from first meeting without bothering to hide her intentions at all often leaves others feeling rather bothered, but she really could care less. a self-proclaimed makeup guru, she claims that "the best part of the day is when you're putting on your makeup!" glittery eyeshadow, sleek eyeshadow, eyebrow tattooed on, and her favourite shade of crimson red lipstick, calypso'd rather get run over than step out of the house with a bare face - not because she doesn't have any confidence in it but because "the world deserves to see me in my best. also i bought this new lip tint and ugh if i don't use it now when will i ever?" she has a pretty average height, but that's made up with the heels she teeters around in. gym sessions once every two nights and yoga every saturday mean that she's pretty fit, with calypso always talking about how "my calves are the gem of this country, thank you very much!"sohye in very very very era.

calypso is 100% a looks over comfort person.... and despite her friends constantly questioning her seeming want to put herself through torture, calypso wages a war with socal's tsundere weather every day, heading out in velvet crop tops, extreme ripped denim shorts, fishnets, and the like. she has a weird affinity for leather so she's always in leather jackets, leather skirts and things like that. she's always trying to make up for her height, so you'll find her in her favourite combat boots (she really likes her knee high ones but socal's blazing weather in the morning often argues otherwise) or killer scarlet stilettos. calypso often argues that the uniform at ice dream is too cutesy for her punk self.... but secretly she likes it too. one side of her blouse is always left untucked (half on purpose for her 'own personal style', and half because calypso insisted on getting a uniform one size smaller than her actual size). her uniform is also just. constantly creased. it exasperates venus to no end, and calypso always claims that it's the work of some ghost who's unhappy with her uniform that always enters her locker to crease her uniform, but everyone's suspicions that calypso's just too lazy to iron it properly is mostly correct. most of the time calypso's hair is in two dutch braids, and a black choker around her neck. the bomber jacket is almost always worn on her because calypso thinks it's the best part of the uniform. height & weight 160cm & 43kg.

a fiery spirit and mouth that reacts before the brain does, calypso jeon is the definition of a troublemaker, one who would rather get punished for doing something reckless than to lay low and be bored. a temper easily ignited, calypso often rushes into the heat of things just to be in the centre of action all the time, thriving off attention and not being able to stay off-the-board for more than half an hour. extremely opinionated and stubborn, calypso can be hard to deal with most of the time, and coupled with her egocentric tendencies at times, it's no wonder many people find calypso a pain to be around. the ones closer to calypso, however, know that under calypso's cover of boisterousness lies a vulnerable girl hating the idea of being alone so much that she desperately seeks validation from anyone and anywhere. calypso's decisions may seem blockheaded most of the time, but the way she thinks is people-centric, and hardly does she ever mean for anyone to get hurt in the process of her having fun — so when someone does, she's often ridden with guilt, not knowing how to clean the mess she's created. for someone who almost never stops talking, she's not very good at understanding others' feelings, and is absolute trash at comforting others. but despite calypso's many flaws, ultimately at the end of the day, the reason why she still has people who love her is for her genorosity, her willingness to share, and her constant mirth. character background + lifestyle ! unless its a big part of your character's development i would expect less background & more of her daily life !! include her class schedule, major, n university life if they go 2 school !!
