decisive: she is a very decisive girl, she knows what she wants and doesn't spend too much time contemplating what she's going to do. she believes that being indecisive is insufficient and can hurt others as well as holding her back. so, she likes to decide things for herself and quickly.
mature: she is someone who is very mature for her age. she is not childish, she does not whine or complain about things and she certaintly takes responsibility for her actions. being mature is also the way that someone prioritizes others more than oneself. she's just a kid but she knows already how it feels to be taken care of, so she doesn't need to be selfish.

BACKGROUND :

four years old : beodeul was a youngster who watched tv and liked what she saw, and what she saw was girls dancing. she wanted to dance, too. her mother was already going to sign her up for ballet lessons because she was a ballerina herself, in fact she was the teacher. so, at four years old, beodeul started here dance career as a ballerina.

seven years old : she wanted to try different types of dances, and realised that you can also take up tap and jazz. but she no longer wanted to do ballet, she wanted to take on different dances because ballet started to get boring to her. so, she took tap, jazz and even hiphop. and, it was amazing for a young girl like her to be able to always pick up dance moves and learn from them straight away. her parents were never that strict on her or pressured her or even put high expectations on her, this was all for herself. this was all because she did it her self.

eight years old : she got really interested in kpop and wanted to be just liked them. her parents didn't want her to be like them, they wanted her to be a professional dancer, they wanted her to be successful. they believed that being an idol wasn't going to make her successful, or happy. and, beodeul wanted to audition at this age, because all her teachers told her that she was allowed to if she wanted to. but, her parents would tell er that she's too young. they don't realise that she is basically already training for it at her age.

ten/eleven years old : at this age, she was persuaded by her teachers that she was able to audition for sm. they said that her talent's shouldn't go to waste and that they believed that she should do everything she wants to do at such a young age. the teachers would have a talk with her parents, especially her ballerina mother, telling her that they think this path is the best for beodeul to shine. she gets to train in one of the bigger companies and success won't come very far. they believed in her talents a lot and believed she could even be the next boa. their belief in her were in good use as beodeul was accepted the same year.

TRAINEE YEARS : 2012 - 2016 [4-5 years]

TRAINEE LIFE :

2012 beodeul has been a trainee since she was in the fifth grade, a young girl at the age of 10 (11 in korea). she was accepted through sm weekly auditions in 2012. before she was accepted, she used to take ballet lessons since she was 4 but stopped and took different dancing lessons at the age of 7--she took tap, jazz and hiphop instead. she also took gymnastics as a hobby when she entered sm. when she was accepted into sm, she had to stop taking all those lesson since sm provided them for her instead. the only thing she kept was gymnastics. because she was a trainee so young, she, like Jisung, doesn't have friends other than the other trainees and members. she never had really much free time to do anything because she was so focused on this. that also meant she wasn't great at school.

2013 at the same time as jisung, beodeul was introduced as an smrookies trainee in December 2013. at the beginning of this year, she and jisung went to perform a dance duet for the international children's concert for new years in china. the two were already friends, they've been friends since they entered the company at the same time. they were the only two who had anything remotely close in common. they both gave up their childhood for their dreams. they were both dancers. they were both kids. and, in the future, they'd become counterparts. they were childhood friends who've known each other since they were literal kids. 

2014 : her parents were more proud of her than not. they were glad she was getting attention for her skills and talent, but they were also worried. they didn't want the fame to get in her head, but they weren't so concern that it'd be her fault. they knew their daughter was a good person, but they were afraid about the people around her. she didn't have many friends in her school because she didn't have time for them nor could she relate to them. so, her parents moved her to the same middle school as Jisung, so that she would at least have a friend she knew. she couldn't wait until she could attend sopa so that she could see the other girls, too.

PREDEBUT EXPERIENCE :

acting: she was a child actor, appearing in many commercials

mickey mouse club south korea : along with the younger trainees--koeun, hina, haerin, lami, mark, jeno, jaemin, donghyuck and jisung--appeared in the south korean revival of the disney classic: the mickey mouse club show.

PERSONALITY: im very aware of the boys personality on stage, so you can just write down traits and explain on their personality off stage

LOVE STORY:
2012: Beodeul and Jisung entered the company separately but at the same time. The two were very young children, they were only ten at the time and didn’t have much friends who were around their age. For Jisung, he practically had no one but the older trainees, and for Beodeul, she was lucky enough to have some female trainees who were her age but not a lot of them stayed in SM. But, back then, there wasn’t anyone that they could relate to but one another. The other trainees who were the same age were trained differently because they either came earlier or later, it is only because Beodeul and Jisung entered together that they continued to train and do everything together. At first it was awkward because they were young and the person of opposite gender isn’t the go-to for friends for their age. But, the more time they spent together the better it was for them. They became more comfortable with one another, especially after finding out that they had a lot in common, specifically in terms of history and dances.

2013: The two eventually attended the same classes, taking jazz, tap and all that. The two even went to the International Children’s Concert in China, together performing a duet. They both met Chenle there, too. It’s quite the small world. This furthered their friendship. At this point, school was hard on them both because they were so young and were technically already working. Beodeul didn’t have time to make friends at school because she was either training at SM or finishing homework. And if she wanted to make friends, it wouldn’t work because they wouldn’t have anything in common. After all, she was the only SM trainee at her school. She stuck by Jisung a lot and he’d do the same, especially since they were the same age. In December, they were both revealed, together, as each other’s counterparts in SM Rookies.

2014 and 2015: Towards the end of the year, Beodeul’s mother realised that her school life wasn’t helping her in any way, shape, or form. She felt very lonely because she had a different life to those around her. And, you know kids, they’re really scary. So, Beodeul’s mother, knowing of Jisung, transferred her to Eonju Middle School—Jisung’s middle school. Because of this, both Jisung and Beodeul had at least one friend in their school. It was nice, for the both of them, because it didn’t make them lonely. They’d often spend break times practicing and learning new dance moves together, and, of course they’d always help one another with homework. More people of their age became trainees in this year. It was more girls who were their age, and this was a bonus for Beodeul but a seatback for Jisung. The only girl he felt comfortable around was Beodeul, no one else. And, Beodeul was finally able to make more friends, but Jisung became scared of that. He was happy for her, but he didn’t want to lose her as her only friend. He didn’t want to sound selfish, but he didn’t want to lose her. And, ultimately became jealous of her friends. Because he was essentially her first friend, that they were childhood friends—best friends, she is very protective of him. As in, you hurt my friend, I hurt you.

2016 and 2017: They both debuted in their respective sibling groups, and their friendship was a hot topic. They’ve spent so much time together, since they were kids learning about life, and it appealed to the fans. They loved their friendship and honestly hoped that nothing more were to happen. Because, after all, they were just kids.

2018: They both discussed it together, first and then with their managers that they both wanted to appear on Dancing High together. School wasn’t working out well for them as they hoped, their only friends were their band members and even then they’d always feel a bit of a difference because they were so different from the others—then, there was the . Beodeul was lucky enough to have members her age, but Jisung wasn’t. The other members had friends outside of their group, but the two of them didn’t. So, they decided to go on Dancing High so they could meet people their age that they have things in common with. During dancing high, many things would happen. They don’t show it, but the two have to go through a lot. Especially with being kids, in the public eye with other kids who make mistakes. Kids should make mistakes, kids should do things that would get them hated on because it helps them learn and it helps them become better people—but it’s the older people from the world who don’t allow them to learn from their mistakes. And the two have to face that a lot in Dancing High. He experiences a lot of hardships, and she’s finally gaining new friends, which makes him worry again. He doesn’t want to lose her and thus he becomes jealous again, like when he was a child. But, this time it was different, he didn’t know what the feeling was and so he told the boys. And, they were so sure that he developed a crush on her. It was the first time for him, so he didn’t know what was happening.

INTERACTIONS: 
Off Screen and On Screen: Are the same for both Jisung and Beodeul, but Jisung would appear to be shyer around the cameras. Beodeul was a naturally reserved person, but she is softer to her close friends—the friends she would introduce as her best friends. She is braver and protects them more, and is willing to be silly around them and be playful. With Jisung it is exactly like that. He has a very playful personality because of his young age, he is someone who will not hesitate to call you out on your crap, but he is a shy person overall. She is a lot more mature than others her age and she is more of than influence to him. She kind of smothers him, like a mother would do, but not in a lovey dovey way but more in a suave subtle way. She would never baby him, because they’re the same age and have been with each other, literally through everything. She was there when he went through his hardships, and he was there when she faced her own hardships. They have known each other since they were ten. They are, overall, comfortable together. They can be in the same room for hours, alone, and it wouldn’t ever get awkward. That’s how you know your best friends.
