appearance. Choi Boeun, standing at 163cm and weighing 49kg is one of the shortest Choi’s you’ve ever met. Boeum actually has very bad eye sight and needs her glasses everywhere; however she is asked to wear contact lenses for when she appears on TV. She may seem like a cold person exterior, but look closely into her eyes - they tell you no lies. You will never find Boeun with her hair up, she hates it, the only time is when she's practicing. She has two piercings on each side of her ears, shaped as wings. She has a birthmark under her left eye the shape of a heart.
Absolutely hates skirts and dresses, she cannot stand them for a second, which goes the same with high heels. Red is her best friend, any clothes with the colour red, she'll buy it. Boeun could be classed as one of the most focused girls you’ve ever seen, especially when she learn lyrics and dance moves. She’s so focused that she doesn’t know what’s happening around her. The reason for this is because she’d be always lacking in something, with dancing she’s isn’t the best dancer in the world and for lyrics, she’s pretty forgetful but always manages to learn them all in one night – that’s how focused she can get. This is especially when she’s composing for a new song she’s so focused she won’t know what day it is – pretty unrealistic but she traps herself in a room until she gets it right. Boeun as an inspiration can communicate clearly, concisely and often by doing so, motivates everyone to give it their best at all times. She challenges people by setting high but attainable standards and expectations.
Despite looking cold and hard to approach, Boeun is a very trustworthy person, she’s the girl that everyone would go to, to tell their secrets.. But they come to her to sort out their personal problem rather than talking gossip about other trainee’s, which is what she likes. She’d always solve everyone’s problems as she likes to put other before herself, the result of having a younger sister. Sometimes most trainee’s are scared to be playfully mean to her, but if you’re close enough you’d know that she’s joking...half the time. She becomes really serious and holds up a scary and cold face so that people know she's angry. She just too hard to approach for some trainee. Boeun would always be straightforward with people and sometimes she does it obliviously but she gets annoyed when people aren't strightforward, for no reason at all - but it can be very scary at times. She can be a tad bit mean when she wants to which is also why people are scared of her. She'll just give them this death scare and people would know not to mess with her. Well the moral of the lesson is do not mess with Boeun when she’s angry because what I’ve just stated before can’t even come close to how she reacts when she’s angry.

Boeun lived in a quite poor family with only her mother working, she and her sister were not allowed to work as they had to focus more on their studies first. her father didn't work much at all, and just stayed at home to cook for the family. he does try very hard to find jobs that he can work at, but it would always end up failing and he would get fired. However they were a stable family that seemed like they had more money than they did, Boeun and her sister had no trouble, neither did their parents and their mother would never complain about being the only one who worked. She was a straight B student getting various A’s on many occasions. Her best subjects were Maths, English, Art and Computers and her worse subjects were Workshop, Science, PE and Geography. Boeun actually never wanted to become an idol when she grew up, she wanted to become an author and has started writing ever since the age of 6 but she found singing to be more inspiring and she has grown a liking to it.

I was worried that she wasn’t going to fit in
boeun became a trainee after her sister and mother sent a tape of her singing to jyp. She has an angelic voice and got in, however there were moments when her singing was off tune and flat – she is human after all. When boeun got in she was quiet and didn’t talk to anyone. She held up her cold exterior that made her hard to approach. jyp didn’t worry too much, but he was afraid that she’d be too shy to try to sit in thus making her too shy to be able to debut. Luckily for him after time passed by she got used to jyp and her confidence started to show.
I thought I wasn’t going to make it
boeun got into jyp when she was 15, she had a pretty normal trainee life, and the things that mostly troubled her was dancing. She has never danced like that ever in her life, she had danced before but not on that difficult level, because of that she spent many days and nights learning new dance moves and overworking her body, it made it worse because of her health, but thanks to Jinyoung she made it alive. It also didn’t help that would often become sore and strained. She thought she was never going to make it.

The two met during her early trainee days, Boeun had a lot of trouble trying to remember lyrics and dance moves. Jinyoung was always there to help her out. This is how their first meeting went.
Boeun ruffled her hair and let out a grunt. “Damn it! I can’t remember anything!” Boeun screamed in frustration.
“Are you okay?” a voice asked her, she looked to her left and saw a boy.
“Please get lost,” she asked as nice as she could.
“Sorry, I bothered you,” he sounded upset and offended. Just as he was about to open the door and leave, she spoke.
“Wait,” she called, he turned his head her way.
“I’m sorry,” she bowed, “I’m Choi Boeun and I’ve been a trainee for about a year already, and the frustration and pressure is starting to get in my head, sorry.”
“Don’t worry, how old are you anyways? It might explain the stress,” he replied.
“16.”
“ah i see. i'm jinyoung, 18 years old, nice to meet you~” he smiled then held out his hand.
“Nice to meet you,” she shook his hand.
“Do you need some help? I can give you some tips and tricks,” he explained.
“Sorry but, please don't take this the wrong way. After this, let's not get too close.”

Their relationhsip is still developing after about 4-5 years. Boeun, in all honestly, didn't like Jinyoung at first sight. Even when he would help her with lyrics and dance moves, she still didn't like him and he knew that. The reason for this dislike that Boeun was feeling is because she was never really close to people especially of the opposite gender. So, she overthought and felt that he was too cocky and arrogant and plus she didn’t really like people like him - sarcastic and witty. They would always meet up for practicing their vocals and Boeun would always turn it into a competition. Jinyoung would try his best to become friends with her, like always helping her with everything, being super nice to her and always being there for her but nothing would work. people find jinyoung very different when he is around boeun - he is not like his usual self where he is meant and all that. Whenever he tried to be funny she would always roll her eyes at him and ignore him. She especially hated how good at dancing he was. Jinyoung will forever keep on trying to get her attention.
