Is it really true?

Hello everyone!!

So I was sitting reading some chanbaek fic when this thought hit me...

so I’m 22 years old and have never been in love ... like ever and when ever I read a fic or see a drama there is this heart speeding or skipping beats when the characters fall in love...  I mean in true innocent love ... is it true?

For whoever fall in love when your lover walk closer too you  or look more handsome or beautiful for a date or when he hold your hand or give you a hug sweetly ... your heart rate change?

I've been with my husband for five years now (dating for one, engaged for two, and married for two) and he STILL makes my heart skip a beat. And when he kisses me, it still makes me see stars. And when we hold hands or hug, my heart gets so happy because I remember again just how lucky I am to have someone like him in my life. And when I see him playing with our daughter... it's like I fall in love with him all over again every single day

i'd say your heart rate would change. when you're around the person you love, you feel excitement so it's only natural that your heart would beat faster. of course, love in real life isn't like the ones in fanfics and dramas since it's exaggerated. but, when you're around your boyfriend/girlfriend you want to hold their hand, hug them, cuddle them, kiss them. for me, i wouldn't say my heart beats faster when my boyfriend walks closer to me but when he looks good i do take notice and my hearts jumps a little.

as for true or innocent love, i'd like to argue that any love can be true if the individuals in love are willing to put in the effort to make it happen. however, that type of love comes later after the honeymoon stages of romance and after you've gone through things (good and bad) together with that person. true love is knowing that even though there are countless other guys and girls out there that you would still choose to be with your significant other for better or worse.
