appearance — Gwangmin is an absolute adorable appearance. The first thing that stands out about him are his adorable, hamster-like cheeks. He has a small face, adorable nose and eyes that have an innocent look in them. On top of that, often hiding his eyebrows cause they make him look mad, lies puffy, light brown dyed hair. His hair always smells like flowers and it's soft and fluffy like the fur of Anubis. His hair is often pet or ruffled, and his cheeks are often poked or squeezed, and Gwangmin is fine with that. Cheerful and optimistic: Gwangmin is a certified sunshine. He loves the current life he's living after being released from his parents' tight grip on him, and he loves to smile and make others smile too. He always sees the good in life and also in the people around him. Gwangmin is like the glue of Temptation, acting like a conflict solver when other members collide, and cheering everyone up in bad times. Why should you spend your days of your only life being mad or sad when you can be happy with your friends? That's Gwangmin's life motto, basically, well, one of the two.

Hardworking and obedient: being raised strictly by his parents, Gwangmin was teached that hard work is the best way to reach your goals, so he keeps up with it. Even when he doesn't like it. Gwangmin's a very obedient child, when he's told to shut up, he'll not say a word until people say he can talk again. When he's told to stop flirting, he'll stop and give the others their space, until he can't surpress the feeling anymore. background — Lee Gwangmin, also known as Benjamin Lee, was born in San Diego in California. It was an exceptionally cold day, and the heat of the hospital had to be turned to the max. Gwangmin was the only child of a wealthy family. His parents, and everyone of the family, lived in San Diego, and were strict Christians. They were strict in general, because they had a reputation to keep up in town as that rich Korean family that was the head of various big businesses at the city. Gwanghyun was raised with iron fist, strong ways and pure white surroundings. His parents wanted him to be as good as possible, perfect, even. He had to learn to play the violin, but little Gwangmin hated the sound of that instrument, he would rather play the piano, sing, and dance. He did get singing lessons in music school, but it was only good for his basics. Gwangmin grew up having to church every week too, the best part was that he was able to be part of the choir, but there it ended. Ever since a young age, little Gwangmin didn't believe anything about what the church told. He didn't believe in god, he didn't believe in Jesus. But he was a good kid, so he kept listening to his strict parents.

When he was a preteen, other kids around him were already experimenting, but Gwangmin didn't even know how it went, because his parents were so against him getting the knowledge that they didn't allow him to go to ed class. He was 'too young' for that stuff. At first, others started to laugh at him for not understanding it all. Some guys of a few years older offered to show it to him. Gwangmin was only 15, and still very naive. He agreed, and the older dudes took him under their wings. They showed him alcohol and cigarettes, which wasn't really to Gwangmin's tastes, and especially, , lots and lots of . Gwangmin was so weirded out at first, and the older dudes laughed their asses off, but after a while, he started to enjoy it, and even feel a strong desire that he wanted it. The dudes showed him that there was a world outside of the pure white world his parents made him grow up in. His newly made friends all absolutely loved to dance, and were a street dance crew, and they teached their new little 'minion' the ways. In dancing, Gwangmin found a way to let his emotions go loose, and let all his frustrations out. He was a fast learner, and his friends were surprised.

When his parents found out, they went crazy. Their good child was doing stuff he wasn't allowed to do? Oh drama. They didn't see him as their child anymore, treated young Gwangmin like trash. The whole family did. He still lived at their home, but they acted like he didn't exist outside of the house, making employees and paparazzi think he died or moved away.

Gwangmin started to hang out more with his dance crew than hang at home, and with his parents treating him worse, his desire worsened too. He started to flirt with every girl of his class, and actually got some to date him, but once they were about to go do the thing, Gwangmin suddenly got afraid, and he would usually run away. It gained him a reputation of heartbreaker, but Gwangmin didn't even know what was going on. He wanted it... then why was he afraid?

He could only find happiness in music, because his still growing desires made him suffer. He resumed vocal lessons, practiced extra hard on his dancing, and was planning to move far, far away from his parents to Korea once he graduated high school. And that's what he did. He immediately moved to Seoul completely on his own, just a week after graduating high school, he had prepared it all to the smallest details. That was 3 years ago now.

He immediately started to audition for companies, but his first choices decided to not accept him, for strange reasons. Maybe because his face contrasted his dance so much? Until he auditioned for UNIQ entertainment, where he got in. The new chapter of his life started, and he was able to be free. Well, not really since trainees aren't free at all, but he felt free. He could do what he liked, was praised for it, not treated like trash, and he had many, many cute and handsome boys to let out his desires. Now Gwangmin and Semi both have a bed to sleep in, and Youngkwan has become their new father figure who they love and admire a lot. Thanks to Youngkwan, both Gwangmin and Semi were able to relive part of their childhood during their trainee life.

— Hwang Ryeojin | GIMME PATS | Vocal trainer | Gwangmin is the second best vocal in UNIQ, and his talent for singing has really bloomed while training under UNIQ. He figured out pretty quickly that Ryeojin shows appreciation by pats, and now, whenever Gwangmin feels a pat on his shoulder or back, his day can't be ruined anymore. He still doesn't see his singing as good, but when people tell him it is actually good, Gwangmin simply beams. TRAINEE LIFE — 

While getting into trouble for flirting with the staff, Gwangmin also worked very hard, because that's just how he is. After getting used to it, the staff let it slide, especially with Semi joining them. Semi makes Gwangmin calm down, and she also was the one to start telling the story about their past first, so the staff could understand the two kids better, why they were such nuisances both in their own way. The staff started to deeply care for Gwangmin, let him flirt all he want (well, some of them do) and make sure that he stays on the right path. They have really spoiled him to make sure that he's feeling okay. Sometimes, Gwangmin felt like he wanted to go back to America, not missing his previous life, but just missing America, but the great treatment from the staff made him come back to it. Gwangmin shows lots of gratitude for the staff and other trainees because they have kept him on the right path. And now that he's debuting, you'll often hear one of the staff sigh, "That child's such a blessing..."

— This answer wasn't so easy, and it made Benjamin think for a bit, before finding an answer. "I want to grow even closer to them!"

— "My role? Like... my position? I thought I already told this at the start..." Benjamin pouts a little, being confused, but he resumes quickly. "My position in Temptation is main dancer and lead vocal! Cool, right?"

personality — Jongjin is a very blunt guy, but also open-minded. He's really honest about things and wouldn't even hesitate to voice out his opinions so if he doesn't like you, he'll straight up tell you with no sugar-coating AT ALL. Other than that though, he's a caring and attentive guy. He can actually be a motherfigure, so to speak because of how much he takes care of everyone - which isn't really a surprise that Youngkwan chose him to be the group's manager despite the young age. first meeting — This meeting was very basic, actually. When they walked into each other for the first time at the company. Gwangmin was still not really used to being around so many other Koreans, and living in Korea in general, so he just bowed quickly before speeding out of there. The child needed some adjusting time, and soon he'd surprise Jongjin by starting to flirt with him and the others as well.

development — At first, with most of the members of Temptation, Jongjin was very taken aback. He didn't really know how to deal with Gwangmin's shameless flirting, because he was young, small and oh so cute. Damn, so ing cute... But after spending time with the group and getting to know all of them, Jongjin saw that Gwangmin wasn't only a flirt, but he was also a cheerful boy who wants to see everyone happy. When Jongjin asked him to stop flirting, Gwangmin would stop, and it was a big surprise to Jongjin, actually making him think better of the young boy. Deep down, he was a really good kid. When Jongjin saw the boy work his off or make sure the group doesn't have any conflicts, his heart warmed up for the little flirt. Especially when he heard the story about Gwangmin's past, what made him understand the boy in the orange oversized hoodie that was standing in front of him with sparkly eyes and blushy cheeks. Jongjin saw that this boy was just someone who didn't get love, and deserves all the love in the world. In the end, he ended up agreeing to putting Temptation together, partly because he knew Gwangmin was such a good problem solver.
