( elaboration ) : Ella is a fun loving, loud and energetic person; the type of person that would go all out when trying to let loose. With her EDM music background it is easy to understand why she is like this. Especially while on stage, she is the main person that would be the person to hype up the audience till the whole venue is turnt. No matter where was or what time of day it is; she could turn it in a party, it was like a gift. She is the person who would crazy adventures and take (sometimes drag) others along with her. The energy and atmosphere that she felt when she had a chance to DJ at the different music festivals is something that she wants to recreate so others are able to experience. Another thing that she is good at is keeping people together; it's could either be her friends or her bandmates she would make it so everyone feels connected. She does this in the group be getting the quieter members a chance to speak and by protecting her bandmates however she can. She is quite adventurous when it comes to trying out different concepts or other music style.
But with the type of energy that she has, she could sometimes come off as being careless or even reckless. She falls over all the time especially while on stage this is due to the energy that she's getting from the audience making her not really mindful of where she takes her next step. Her upbeat and energetic nature can be also be a bad thing usually when the rest of her band members want some peace and quiet Ella would be considered loud and annoying during these times. On the outside she might seem like she doesn't give a about anything and with some stuff she might not. But with the stuff that she really cares about, like her worries and fears she unintentionally keeps it inside because she's scared that if it started to reflect her outer appearance as well as inside her then she might explode.
( background ) : Ella's parents lived in Busan, South Korea it wasn't until 1992, three years before she was born her father got a job offer in the same company that he was already working in but in Amsterdam. He took it and moved with his wife to Amsterdam and 6 months after he was offered the job, he and his wife settled into their new home in Amsterdam. So Ella was born on the 10th of July, 1995 in Amsterdam and was mostly raised by her mother while her father focused on working so the family can live comfortably. However when she was 10 years old her mother died due to cancer. Her father was devastated because he realised that he was so focused on working that he didn't really try to put aside time to spend with his wife and child. So from that day on he tried his best to be a big part in Ella's life. At the age of 13 she started taking dance lessons and what she learned it was mainly hip hop dance. But when the dance style called cutting shapes which is a form of shuffle started getting popular in Europe. Ella started taking dance lessons to learn the dance techniques and after that her dance teacher told her to use the dance technique to turn it into her own style.
Over the years Ella developed an interest in house music and EDM; listening and creating music of her own. So in senior years of high school she sent demos of her music and an application to music label Spinnin' Records. They were really impressed with the music she created so she was accepted. While working in on finding her own unique style she met Martin Garrix; another aspiring young DJ who joined a year before her which she really connected with even though she found that both of their sounds of music were different. After training under Spinnin' for a few months she met another young DJ named Isaac Williams. He was a nice and sweet guy and also became friends. So her, Martin and Isaac became close friend. So around two years and 6 months Isaac and Ella became a couple which Martin was really happy for them. But Isaac had darker intentions. In all honesty he was dating Ella because she was a talented music producer and he wanted to steal her work. So the two dated for not even a year before he took his plan into action and stole a third of Ella'a music that she worked on over the past 3 years. To top it all off he accused her of stealing music from him. Luckily it was kept within the walls of the record label since Ella and Isaac were still underground DJs that haven't debut yet. But the higher ups of Spinnin' Records hear this and they were both summoned to a board meeting with the higher ups. The whole thing took hours and no matter how much Ella defended herself it got to a point where they would rather listen to Isaac's lies rather then to her. The same thing happened to Martin last year with the record label taking his music. So with a heavy heart she tore up her contract and cussed at Isaac stating it's over as she walked out of the board room like the boss she is. Once she was out of the building she called Martin and explained what happened. They met up and he comfort her. After that day she spent about two months at home not doing anything but cry or just wallow in sadness before realising that she need to spend time away, like a change in scenery. She needed to be in a fresh start in a new place. With her father's help she ended up moving to Seoul, South Korea. Which is a place that their family has history and also a place to start new. There she was sent to live with her aunt. So just a few days before she was suppose to leave Spinnin' Records contacted her saying that one of the vocalist that She worked with exposed Isaac of stealing Ella's music and his contract got terminated. They also told her that they are offering her got compensation for what she went through, giving her music back and a new contract. She rejected the contract and continued her plans for South Korea. After staying a few months in Seoul she started to feel more like herself again thank to her aunt. She was really grateful that her aunt was there to listen to what she was going through and her suggestions on how to cope with the pain and sadness she was feeling. One day while she was out and about in Seoul she got scouted by a manager from BigHit Entertainment. At first she was sceptical and thought it was a scam but after the manager told her more about the audition that was coming up and gave her his business card she went home. When she got home she talked about what had happened with her aunt. Her aunt suggested that maybe becoming an idol would be a better path for her then becoming a DJ since she had all those year in dance lesson back in Amsterdam and she has some vocal experience. Thinking that if she makes it as an idol then it would be a whole new experience and it's something to do while she put her DJ career on hold. After thinking about it long and hard she took her chances and went to auditions where she showed her dance and vocal skills. She then later got accepted as a trainee.

The other members found this out when they were watching a movie in the living room one night but couldn't be bothered getting up to head to their own bed so they slept in the same position. From then on you would fine two extra people in Ella's bed cuddling him every night.
- For Ella her’s main goal is to create music and atmosphere that the youth can enjoy. It's so fascinating to her because not only does it make her want to get up and dance. But this particular style of music give off a nostalgic retro vibe that seems to draw her in and makes her want to explore the genre even more. Eg. 1, 2, 3 (A/N: I love this genre that I just had to include it in this character somewhere.
- She crys every time she watches the music video "Shelter" by Porter Robinson. It doesn't matter how many times she's seen it. That music video will always make her cry.

• Aunt : Kwon Seo-yeon (40) / Business Woman / Kind, Caring, Protective / 8-10 / Her aunt Kwon Seo-yeon never had any of her own kids so she treats Ella like the daughter she never had. She actually listens to what Ella is saying and helped her through the aftermath of what had happened before Ella came to Korea.
• Best Friend : Martin Garrix (23) / DJ/Producer / Energetic, Wild, Prankster / 9-10 / She met him while working at Spinnin' Records. He was so energetic that even Ella gets tired from being around him. He would always invite Ella on stage at music festivals to join him on the turn tables. After his legal battle with Spinnin Records also concerning ownership of music which was a bigger scandal then the one that happened between Ella and Isaac a year later since he already debuted as and actual DJ. He urged Ella to quit Spinnin' Records but she was hesitate and in the end it happened to herself. They don't talk as much as they use to after Ella move to South Korea. But when they meet up after not seeing each other for a long period of time the first thing they would do is jump in a car and go for a drive with no particular destination and would just have a carpool karaoke. After that they would hang out like they use to.
• The A-Hole Ex : Isaac Williams (24) / DJ/Producer (Fraud) / manipulative, backstabber, two faced / 0-10 / He was a nice and sweet guy to Ella before and while they were dating. But after he stole one third of her unreleased music that she had taken years to create and accused her of stealing. Which made her quit Spinnin' Records and put her dream career on hold, she prays to all of the forced that the a**hole stays in the past and out of her life completely. (A/N: You can let him pop up in your story if you want. I just included him here because he caused a major event in the past which indirectly got her to Korea in the first place)
• Trainee Friend : Kim Mi Jin (20) / Solo Idol / Quiet, Sweet / 7-10 / Mi Jin and Ella met just after Ella became a trainee at Big Hit. She was the first person Ella spoke and became friends with. Ella found that Mi Jin is the type of person that is kinda a goody goody, someone who is quiet and would only open up to the people after a while of getting to know them. After she became friends with Ella the two ended up doing a lot of crazy stuff together like prank the staff at Big Hit, running around the city finding food challenges to being idiots on the streets of Seoul. After a while Mi Jin moved to Jelly Entertainment because a number of reasons and from there she became a solo artist. But her and Ella would always find time to hang out and be idiots because Ella brings out the weird person that she is on the inside.

• vocal twin : Minah (Girl's Day) - But while at Spinnin’ Records and watching vocalist working with other DJs sparked her interest and saw singing professionally as her next challenge that she wanted to try. So she decides to seek advice from vocalist working there and try it out herself. The approach that she learnt when training on vocals was that is was to enhance the music track. Where as most of the other trainees trained their vocals to be the front and centre of songs. She then continues vocal training while at BigHit.
• dance twin : Gabby David - Ella has been dancing ever since she was 13 at this age she started learning hip hop dance. But when the dance style called cutting shapes which is a form of shuffle started getting popular in Europe. ( trainee life ) : When Ella started to train as a Big Hit trainee, the trainers told her that she should focused more on dancing learning different styles and techniques. As she learned she applied it to her own dance style. Most trainees saw her differently and some were even jealous of her because she didn't have a proper audition like the rest of them. However when she made an effort to break down the walls between her and the other trainees and people started to get to know her they found that she is fun to be around. After about 6 months in as a trainee she wanted to try and train her vocals. When she was still back in Amsterdam she learned add vocals to other DJs track most of the time the vocals of the tracks she did were more so to enhance the music. But at Big Hit she learned to sing so that the vocals were the main aspect of songs. At first she was a bit scared of going on stage to perform due to the fact that when she was performing on stage back when she was a DJ she was always behind the turn tables making music that the audiences could enjoy. But when it came to performing as a kpop idol she felt vulnerable because the stage was open and she wasn't just singing but also dancing. But over time she would get use to the stage her fear would disappear.

( hello, Ella! please introduce yourself. ) : “Hello, I’m Ella from VRSA! Hope everyone is as pumped as I am” she says as she waves both of her hands like this.
( what are you thoughts in being in a co-ed group? ) : “Well it seems pretty cool. It’ll be interesting how we all get along. I’ve never thought I would be part of a group let alone a co-ed group judging from my previous career path. But here we are”
( interesting. well, do you have any problems living with the oppposite gender in your dorms? ) : “I really don’t mind since it’s not the first time that I’ve lived with people from the opposite gender. It’s not really that big of a deal once everyone gets familiar with each other.”
( i see, i see. how about telling me what makes you different from the rest of your group? ) : “Well since my original training background is completely different from everyone else’s in the group my ideas and my approach to things would be different to the stereotypical, mainstream music in the kpop industry. I guess that makes my unique in a type of way.”
( what's your role in Vrsa? both in the group and in your dorms? ) : “I am the main vocalist in VRSA, which was kinda unexpected since the vocal training that I had before being a BigHit trainee was a tad different from the type of vocal training as a trainee under BigHit. I guess the hard training as a trainee paid off. However most of the time I produce the music behind VRSA’s tracks since that is what I’ve trained for the last 5 or so years. In the dorm I’m the person that hypes everyone up and encourages them before every stage performance, variety show appearance and/or interview. I’m also the person that takes the members on crazy adventures, be it around Seoul or round the country of South Korea maybe international adventures. They can range from planned adventures to spontaneous ones.”
( what concept would you want to do? ) : “I really enjoyed the dark concepts that kpop groups were doing a few years back. It was like kpop was going through its emo stage which was pretty cool for example 4minute with Volume Up and Vixx a bunch of dark theme songs like Voodoo Doll and Hyde. There is also this other idea that I would like to do with the rest of VRSA which I don’t know if you would consider this a concept. But what I really want to do is to explore this one particular genre of music called future funk which I recently became interested in. Since to me this particular genre of music gives this nostalgic retro feel while getting the blood pumping. It would be interesting if this genre would work in kpop.”
( what were you thinking when bang pd-nim announced that bts would be the one observing your trainee life and would be the ones choosing for the group? ) : “Wow. But yeah, that was pretty much what I thought when I found out. After that initial shock I decided to focus one my training and continue to learn and grow as a trainee Because if I try too hard to impress them I might start looking like a try hard and do stuff that I wouldn’t usually do and end up being someone that I’m not. If they ended up choosing me then great If they didn’t then it would be okay since I there are other avenues that I can take in the future.”
( are you ready to debut? ) : “To be honest a little nervous. I tend to throw myself into the deep end of things. I don't know why I do this to myself, it just happens. So, bring it on.”

( personality ) : Li Wei is a bright, bubbly and cheerful person that can be friends with just about anyone. He is also hardworking especially when he tries to balance his uni life, work life and social life. But he also can be a worrywart, worrying about a lot of things like his uni assignments and trying to keep his grades up, also is the degree that he gets after graduating would it get him the career he wants and other stuff in the future. There is time where he wonders if he’s gonna be alone for the rest of his life. But that changes after he see Ella. He’s able to forget his worries whenever he’s around her because whenever he's with ella it's always gonna be a new adventure.
( first meeting ) : Li Wei is a barista at a café near Big Hit Entertainment. One day Ella came in and stood near the cash register staring at the menu on the wall above. Li Wei cleared his throat getting Ella’s attention she looked at him and was gonna say something but she felt that there was another person behind her who probably was ready to order so she told them to go first. So, Li Wei took the person’s order and made it Ella finished making up her mind of what drink but was now looking at the display cabinet with all the desserts and sweet food. As she her eyes glided over the different treats her have made different expressions which clearly showed that she had no idea which one to get. Li Wei found her adorable so he suggested the ones that he personally like. She ended up getting the slice of matcha and white chocolate cake. Li Wei learned that her name is Ella since she told him her name to write down on the cup. Soon after he came out and placed her order at her table and started clearing another table. After that he looked back at the girl that he just served and saw her take a bite of the cake. Her eyes went wide like saucers as she took the fork out of and stared at it for a while. She then looked up and in his direction and mouthed “thank you so much.” Li Wei thought that the way this girl acts is so adorable and he said, “You’re welcome” to her loud enough for her to hear since there wasn’t as many people in the café. After she went home she felt like she was looking forward to the next time she sees him.
( development ) : After that time Ella would always come to that same café to grab a coffee or just to have some down time from being a trainee. They both became closer and Ella learned that Li Wei transferred over to Korea to study. He told her that he wanted to do something different with his life once he was out of high school and that’s how he ended up in South Korea at one of the top universities in Seoul. When he asked he why she’s in South Korea, she just simply said that stuff happened back in Amsterdam and that she needed to get away from it all for a while. He saw her expression saddened so he slightly changed the subject. “So, do you miss it? Back in Amsterdam?” he asked her. “Of course. It’s home. But I can’t go back, not yet” she let out a sigh. She really missed home. “Besides I still have responsibilities here that I need to commit to” she told him. “Oh right, you’ve mentioned that you’re a trainee at BigHit. How’s that going for you?” he asked her so she told him what it was like as a trainee and later he told her about his uni life. This kinda became the usual whenever they meet.
However, there was one time where he hadn’t seen or heard from Ella for about two weeks and she wouldn’t pick up her phone. He started to get worried and wondered what happened. “Was she ok? Is she over working herself training at BigHit?” all these worried thoughts that he didn’t notice that someone was waiting at the counter to order. When he finally noticed there was another customer he went over there “Hello, what would like to-” his words got stuck in his throat when he saw who it was. It was the very person he was worrying about for the last week. Ella, her eyes were red and puffy and her cheeks were stained with dry tear. “Oh my god, Ella!” he exclaimed. “Hey” she said in a weak voice that sounded like she could start crying again. “What happened? Are you ok?” he said in a worried/panicked voice while examining her up and down checking if she was ok. “Not really. Can I just order something first before I do anything else?” she told him in a defeated voice that was full of sadness. “Sure, anything you need” he told her. “I’ll have the biggest size of the strongest black coffee you have…with no sugar” Li Wei was shocked at what she just ordered because normally she would order sweet beverages and desserts. Whatever happened must have been pretty bad. He finished making her order and told his manager that he had to leave early which his manager let him. He grabbed his stuff and Ella’s order and headed to her to give it to her. “But I need to pay for this” she told him when he gave her coffee. “Nope. This is on me” he said. “But” she started to say. “it’s on me” he simply told her again. So, she thanked him and took a sip. They both walked out of the café and walked down the street with no particular destination in mind. “Sorry for ignoring your called and shutting you out. I shut everyone out these past few weeks” she told him and he just continued to listen. “It’s just memories of the past started resurfacing again” they both ended up in a park and sat down on a bench. “It’s what happened in Amsterdam that made me leave” she was actually gonna tell him about that now since other times she would always try to change the subject. “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. Really” he told her since she would always try to avoid that topic. “No, I want to. It might help me feel better” she said as she took a gulp of the bitter coffee and she told him about how her ex backstabbed her and stole her life’s work claiming it as his own. As Li Wei listened to her story he started to get pissed and wanted beat the crap out of her ex. “This not only take the most important thing in Ella’s life but had the balls to try to flip the blame onto her. I want to beat the out of this mother F’er. How the did Ella end up with this jerkward. She deserved so much better than that” his angry thought started clouding his mind but when he saw Ella in tears again he hugged her and let her head rest against his chest as he her hair. He started telling her that she would never to experience anything like that when he is around and whispered sweet and kind words to her to calm her down and eventually stop crying.
( interactions ) : Ella and Li Wei would talk to each other while he was making her order. Ella would low key try to match up her schedule to match Li Wei uni and work schedule and Li Wei would kinda do the same. Sometimes when Li Wei finishes working he would either sit at the same table as Ella and they both would end up taking for hours. Or sometimes they would both meet up and Ella would make sure it would always end up as an adventure. But it's a bit harder after she debuts. But she would always find a what to hang out with him. There are times when they are close to kissing but always get interupted. The same thisn happens whenever he tries to ask her out, they are always interupted by someone or something.

- When Ella speaks Dutch Li Wei finds it y af. She could be cussing or talking about the most mundane thing in the whole world and it would sound like the iest thing to him.
- He love going on spontaneous adventures with Ella. She comes up with the most out of the box adventures. The last thing that they both did together was Rollerblade around the city of Seoul and boy did he have fun.

( comments ) : Here's my character. For some reason when I first saw the title of this story VCRs (you probably have no idea what it is) was the first thing that came to my head hence why I decided to use it in the p/w.
( scene suggestions ) :
• A huge argument erupted in the VRSA dorm between two of the members which soon became three. Then somehow Ella was dragged into it. At first, she was trying to stop them from arguing but one of them said something about her not originally training to become an idol so how would she know anything about the struggles of the entertainment industry. Which really pissed her off and pushed her over the edge. She yelled into their faces “Oh I don’t know struggle? How the would you feel having your life’s work taken from you? How would you feel when the person who you thought you knew stabbed you in the back and framed you for stealing when they were the one that took everything away from you?” She was crying but tried hard to swallow her sobs. “Don’t assume that I have never seen the dark side to this industry” she told them with so much sadness in her voice.
