— Mr. Robot : Eunjae is always able to keep his cool and barely shows any emotions, so he's called the robot of the group, nothing moves him, except when the little babies of the group or survival show are sad. No one can touch his babies.
— Housewife (or dad) : Eunjae is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) members of the show, and also the oldest member of his own group, so people automatically expected him to be like a dad or mom, and he kinda is both. He might be a stone, but he cares deeply for his children, does most of the housework and is actually quite silly.
— Vampire : Eunjae already has this strong, bewitching look to him, but when he performs on stage with make-up, he can really look like a vampire, hence why he got the nickname from fans. He's not the visual from his group, but he's damn good looking
— Rude : A nickname also mainly given by fans, just because he likes to do like winking and such. He's very, very, very rude.

— Korean : His native language, which is pretty much the only language he is able to speak except for Japanese and some random English sentences used in his songs or on overseas concerts (thanks, google translate and other members). His pronounciation is very clear.
— Japanese : His second language, learned years ago when his group started to promote in Japan. He's quite fluent with it because his group basically has a bigger following in Japan than in Korea.

— Eunjae is quite tall, but also quite chubby recently. He is 181 cm tall, and weighs 72 kg. His chubchubs is definitely seen best in his cheeks and chin. He has a really strong glare, which is often named as his main charm point, a small nose that is enhanced by plastic surgery (but he is open about it) and beautiful lips that women would kill for to have. Whenever he does gain weight after all, it always appears in his cheeks first, making him look squishier, like what's going on at the moment. He has a tattoo on his forearm which he got during the hiatus of his group. He doesn't hide it away and doesn't care about what netizens have to say about it. He got that tattoo pretty much because he wanted one for a long time already, and he just thought it was a pretty one. There's no meaning in particular about it.

Style.

— Eunjae's style is two worlds, basically. He either dresses like an absolute gentleman (with a mix of cause he really likes latex pants), or he dresses like a lazy prick. It is really depending on his mood for that day, which confuses the groupmates cause he basically doesn't have any visible mood. When he wants to dress like a gentleman he wears latex or leather pants, a shirt or turtleneck, depends on the season, and occasionally a blazer. When he's in his lazy mood he'll wear simple t-shirts or hoodies, often with statements on it he either agrees with or doesn't understand at all. And he pairs them with simple, grey and comfy track pants. He mostly wears black, sometimes grey or white, but barely any colors. if he does wear colors it's either dark blue or red. No matter how he's dressed, his hair will always be styled amazingly clean, he sometimes wears hats that go with the outfit as well.

Caring and polite: Eunjae is a very nice man, maybe not one of many words, but when it comes to taking care of others, he's great. He also knows manners very well and the staff often name him as an example the younger kids should follow. He might seem very stiff because of his manners, but no one important minds that. He is like the cold robot who has a warm core, when another member, especially the little ones, are feeling down, his instincts come out and Eunjae will greatly care for them. He is some sort of cool but motherly figure for the group and when the time's right, he'll care for his children. He also does most of the chores in the dorm without even asking and makes sure his kids are healthy.

"Oh, the stove's on fire? Hold on a sec, I'll take care of it..."

Calm and disciplined: This is generally what people's first impression of Eunjae is. While it is very true, there is more about Eunjae. He's not the type to speak a lot, when he doesn't have something to say, he won't say anything. He stays calm in most of the situations, except when it involves the maknae line being harmed, oh no. Do not touch the maknae line or mother hen Eunjae will come for you. But in other cases he always keeps his cool, often even giving the impression of being a cold and apathetic guy. He's just calm and zen. He's also very disciplined and tries to bring it to others as well. He listens and obeys without any complaints except if it's something he just can't agree to, and he is always tidy, never too late and again, has incredible manners. Classmates used to say that he was so uncool, but Eunjae knows that he is the coolest guy out there and now that the little ones look up to him, he knows that he was right.

"Why did you choose me? Seyong would've been a better choice..."

Maternal and noncompetitive: this goes hand in hand with his calmness. Eunjae hates competition, and believes that everyone deserves a chance, hence why he's not really happy with the training system. He would rather send all the other members to the show before him, but he sadly has no say, and the company picked him, so he will be forced to leave his kids behind, which makes him very sad. They are his children, his little cubs, especially the youngest ones, again, they really make his soft core inside the hard shell come out and he'll turn into a caring, but strict mom.

"Do you think that snakes ever feel dirty from constantly touching the ground?"

Unpredictable and sometimes really silly: Eunjae, the robot, the vampire, the ultimate cool guy. That... is not always true. This man can sometimes suddenly have his moments that he seems to be high on sugar and becomes a really silly oddball. He often makes odd videos that are lame but lowkey funny to some. He can switch from cool guy to angry mom to silly kid in no time, so he's really unpredictable.

"Uhm... you... you... ah- nevermind-"

Asocial, shy and difficult: It's not that Eunjae doesn't want to, he just can't. If there is something he balls at, it's having a normal conversation with strangers. He's just not really a good talker, you know? The poor man feels uncomfortable with his lack of social skills, so he tries to hide it away by just not saying anything. That also makes him pretty difficult to handle, because when he disagrees with something, he won't be able to clarify what's wrong clearly and instead will just be sitting in the corner with a dark aura around him. Scary, brrr. Once that he gets to know people well though, he will start to deeply care about them and he'll be able to talk without any problems (and lie too, that is...).

Dishonest: a big problem about Eunjae is that he tends to lie. It's a habit that he's had ever since his childhood. He would lie to hide his flaws, he would say that it was fun while he hated the activity, he would say he likes the song... but he can't stand it. He has lied to pretty much anyone he knows, and no one has ever noticed except for his parents. His lies when he's using them on strangers, but they don't notice because they don't know him or are too intimidated by his appearance to even think about it. Amongst people he does know well, he's able to talk better without any troubles, and his lies become better too. When he gets in trouble, Eunjae will lie his way out, and they'll be left with a mistery.

His on-stage persona: Eunjae has quite the visuals and a good voice to go amongst with it. While he's the calm and quite awkward member off-stage who just stays calmly on the side, on stage he is able to capture the camera with a charm explosion. It's a world of difference and it often confuses fans as why he's so different while performing. He just believes that he should give it all to attract attention, and has worked on his expressions, winks and gestures and all for years now, in front of the other members or the mirror. It was awkward to show it to s, to say the least. (I really hope that the on-stage persona is allowed to be different from the original member cause Gunwoo might be a rude fella, he is definitely not on Eunjae's level, but their off-stage personas are about the same.)

Background. Eunjae was born in a wealthy family with a younger sister, living in a penthouse in Busan. His parents both were lawyers, so they raised their kids strictly, well, more like the nannies did. Eunjae was mature for his age, but in other kids' eyes he was just a rich oddball with weird eyes and a stupid nose, so he got left out and mocked. After coming home with a uniform splattered with flour and eggs, his parents pulled him out of school. His sister weirdly didn't get bullied at all, so she was able to stay. Eunjae got homeschooled starting from when he was 10 until he graduated high school. He never really made friends, hence why he is so quiet and asocial, but also such a liar. He would lie that he had loving friends and stuff like that. At first he would be found out easily and mocked even more, but practice brings results. The only ones he had were his sister and the family cat, so Eunjae developed a strong caring and protective feeling towards his sister. He discovered kpop on his own back in 2006 with Brown eyed girls. He started to get into more groups, but was always a hardcore Everlasting, singing along and dancing as well, music became his best friend. It also became his dream. But something was in the way, Eunjae had an odd voice, even when he was just a young teen of 14 years old. He knew that his voice was going to get even more unusual once he went through puberty, and he seriously didn't know what to do with it. Once he did go through puberty, in 2007, he joined a small company to train, PFull media, the company of Fly to the sky. Eunjae was very worried that he wouldn't make it through the audition, but the company saw potential in him, and especially his voice. Young Eunjae joined the company, and started being trained to become an outstanding vocal. His voice turned out to be a blessing, and not a curse, and Eunjae was a fast learner, so in quite a short time, he had the technique to become a main vocal.

Eunjae trained for 4 years in total, and he got to know a few other boys in the company. Insoo, Seyong, Junkyu and Chaejin. They got along quite well, and would make for a good group. Eunjae was still very insecure about his nose though, and that's why he decided to get a nose job, so he could feel more confident and show more of his potential. At the end of 2010, the trainee contracts of the five boys were about to end, and they would probably be forced out of the company because they had no plans to debut a new boy group. The boys were worried that they would have to separate, despite having such great dynamics as group already. But soon enough, the wait for the boys was over, but it came from an unexpected side. Fly to the Sky had left PFull media in 2009, but they still kept in contact with their juniors. The call from Hwanhee would change their lives forever. He wanted to start a new group on his own, he was starting up his own company, and he wanted to debut the five boys immediately, because it would be a shame if they went to waste. Eunjae and the others accepted the offer, and when their trainee contracts ended with PFull entertainment, they went to the newly established H2 media. Only a few months later, they would debut as five-membered boy group 5us. They had great hopes for a blooming future, but it didn't end up like they hoped...

5us never had much success, and soon enough, they were pretty much shipped off to Japan. There, they were luckier, and gained a bigger following than in Korea, but it was still not the success they hoped for. After some Korean and Japanese promotions and possibly one of the most scandalous music videos ever, the time came that they were put on hiatus. After their last comebacks in 2015, they decided to take a break, and Eunjae took the opportunity to enlist. In 2017, he finally returned. Not so long after, The Unit started, and 5us tried their best in this rebooting survival show, but that didn't have much success. Insoo enlisted in late 2017, and 5us's future was dark, extremely dark... Until Media play was announced. Another rebooting survival show, which would probably get more viewers than The Unit. They could send one member to the show... Would they send a member based on visuals? Charms? Or pure talent? Hwanhee had the decision. He decided to go for pure talent, and picked Eunjae, who was disappointed, but not surprised. He isn't really into survival shows, but if it is for his kids of 5us, he will give his all. Maybe this time he shouldn't give all his lines away to the other contestants so they could get more attention...

Eunjae's younger sister, who has quite the age difference with him. She stands above him though. While Eunjae tries to protect his little sister, she just kicks . She also kicks her big brother! She's shameless, she's tough, she's awesome. And she loves to diss her big brother lovingly.

Insoo is Eunjae's best friend. Insoo is a year older than him, and known as the mom of 5us, so their caring personalities towards each other and towards the younger members made them grow very close to each other. They are 5us' parents and they are not ashamed. Insoo is currently in his military service.

Seyong is 5us' trouble maker, but also most popular member. He can really look like a prick (especially when KBS evil edits him), but deep down he's a good man with a heart of gold, who's just fiery. Eunjae often gets so tired having to deal with Seyong's shenanigans, but even though he doesn't always say it, he absolutely loves Seyong no matter what, and Seyong absolutely loves him too.

Junkyu has often been the member that just... stands there. Just like Eunjae, he doesn't really talk that much, and that's why he's probably the member Eunjae's the least close to. But instead of suddenly asking really stupid question like Eunjae does, Junkyu loves to break the silence with good jokes he just came up with.

The baby of 5us, and the one Eunjae really wants to squish and protect. He seemed to be the perfect little child at first, but Chaejin grew into the sweet noona-killer. Eunjae and othe others have to watch out around him though, because even when Chaejin is a precious child, he's a mischievious little lying prick too. Eunjae isn't the only snake in 5us.

He probably knows other idols too, especially groups that participated on The Unit or debuted around 2011-2012, but since there's lots of apps using groups he might know as twin group, I won't list them because I'm afraid someone is already using them.

What made you want to be an idol?

— It all started when I discovered the first group I ever liked. Brown Eyed girls. I looked up to them, I loved them. I had always been stuck at home, and during that time I took a lot of time to learn the piano and even sing a bit. I finally found a dream to chase after thanks to the amazing music of Brown Eyed girls.

What do you consider to be your best skill?

Training and Idol life. 

— It was really hard for Eunjae at first. He had been homeschooled for most of his life, and suddenly he had to constantly be around others. He didn't really know how to react to all the other trainees at first, but Insoo took care of him and integrated him into the group. He didn't really have exceptional skills when joining his first company, PFull media, but they saw potential in his interesting voice, and they gave him extensive training in the hopes he would become one of the strongest vocals in the industry, and he succeeded. He is still somewhere in the top 10 best idol vocalists, even though people often forget about him. 5us debuted in 2011 after 6 months of preparation under Hwanhee and under H2 media. They started off okay, they had some good songs, especially in Japan. In 2013, they actually topped the Gaon chart with Baby I'm sorry, and it ranked #5 on M! countdown, but afterwards, they would get less and less comebacks, and they lost their popularity too. After the extremely busy 2013 ended, 5us started to fall into a deep, dark pit. They have tried several times to climb out of it, but when Eunjae enlisted, 5us had to be put on hiatus. After returning, they released a Japanese song, between Eunjae returning and Insoo leaving, for the fans (named 5me) to see them one last time with the five of them together. The four of them joined The Unit. Eunjae was generally looked over in the show because he was so kind to give all his lines away to other contestants, and he had to do it with adlibs only. He got eliminated at #38, Chaejin at #37, Junkyu at #24 and Seyong at #17. Eunjae's performances were Heartbeat and Butterfly.

Experience. 

— He has participated in The Unit in 2017-2018 and made some cameos in dramas with the group in 2011 and 2012, sang OST's for japanese movies and series with his group too over their whole career. He appeared on Let's go dream team II in 2012.
