To say Alani was a "social butterfly" would make anyone that knew her laugh, or stare at you like you lost your mind. Alani doesn't understand the concept of conveying emotions to others, something her members have picked up. She prefers sitting on her bed listening to music and reading over interacting with the loud and rambucious members.. They soon began to see it as cute as she would randomly say something when she wants to speak. Fans wouldn't really notice she was gone unless they wanted to watch her reactions to the absurd things their members do. She has this care and compassion for the other members, that ou wouldn't expect from her appearance. She always makes sure everyone has a place to sit if not, she will just stand until all of them have sat down .Rationality isn't on her side, she thinks with her heart rather than her mind.

Which leads to her hopes and dreams of a great romance, filled with love and admiration. Way too many dramas and romance webtoons, in the members' opinion. Alani loves love, she thinks relationships are a thing to be cherished. Routines, are kind of her thing. She enjoys having a morning and night routine from skincare to the order members use the bathroom. It shows on her face if she misses something in the morning, she spaces out and thinks about how forgetting that one thing will effect the rest of her day. She even created a schedule for the members in the morning so everyone isn't rushed or late. She is the last one on the list, to make sure she gets everything else done before getting herself prepared for the day. She finds meaning in the little things, like when fans give her the smallest gifts she treasures them because they thought of her when buying even a keychain. Alani may be quiet and prefer to be alone during rest time, but, she turns into a puppy when full of energy. She loves to hold the other members' hands or arms trying to share her love for them. To which fans get excited over her need to be touching one of them during an interveiw or at fanmeetings where being around new people can become to overwhelming for her at times.

On camera and on stage, its like she gets this spark in her eyes that drives her. On stage she is completely different person, filled with sensual charm. She is able to become a powerful person just with her dancing alone. When on shows she normally talks a bit more than she normally does but, still exudes her natural calm aura. Its different if its just her and the girls of Midnight, she just lets her weird out. She loves pleasing the members by making them laugh or playing along with them. The definition of clumsy, falls, hits herself and drops everything. Most of her clips fans make are just of her laughing at the other members.

background » Alani was born into a loving family of two, well yet to be a family. Park Jinyoung and Carol Ryder were had only been dating for six months when Carol discovered she was pregnant. After Alani was born, they waited until a year after to get married, soon bringing along Elric, Alani's younger brother. Their parents soon calling them Al&El, something they still call each other. The two grew up loved and insanely close. Alani getting put in gymastics and dance, while Elric played football (soccer), and took piano lessons.Dancing soon became one of her favorite things, she studied madern and contepary as she got older. At the age of 12 and 11 the two were involved in a car accident with their parents as they headed into Dublin for a competition Alani was competing in. Their father endured the worse of it, having fallen into a coma for a year with rare signs of recovering or waking up. Their mother's parents moved into the family home to help her take care of the two kids while she struggled working multiple jobs. Alani's father woke up the week before Christmas  where the doctors evaluated that he was paralyzed from the torso down. The family moved from their two story house in the main town to a large one story in an open area.

From then on their lifes got a little more complicated, their father began working at home, their mother working two jobs to make sure they can pay off the bills. Alani soon found KPOP as not only an escape but, a new obsession. She fell in love with BoA, TVXQ and Super Junior. She began covering their songs and performing in competition to their songs. At the age of 16, the family took a trip to South Korea to visit her father's family, where Alani snuck away to an audition for SM Entertainment sadly, not passing the audition; her brother learned about Big Hit Entertainment from their cousin whom was a trainee at the time. After talking Alani into it she considered auditioning, so when their cousin informed them of the open audition, she went.

personality » Jungkook is like a mix of J-Hope and V in one person. He is pretty weird and socialable, but also kind and thoughtful. He is very decisive and stubborn, which comes with spending most of your life on camera. He loves to please and make s happy. 

history » Alani use to think jungkook was adorable when he first began training, the two hitting it off by dancing in the practice room after classes. Alani first considered him as like a kid brother as the two became closer, Hoseok being along side them through a lot of their friendship. Once the boys began training to debut, Alani wnet off to train with the other trainees, the two grew apart. Hoseok and Alani remained close as the boys began their career. She would stop by when she could to give them drinks or drop off some food when they preformed. 

 Flash forward a few years, it was 2016, height of BTS' career. Jungkook seemed to reach a point of no return, he spotted Alani dancig by herself int he practice room in the early morning. Smiling to himself he walked in quietly as the song ended she fell onto the ground, out of breath. He leaned over her face waiting for her to open her eyes, she rubbed her face.

"WHat are you doing here?" Jungkook asked, scaring the older girl, her eyes flying open. 

"Geez. Practicing. I didn't know superstars were allowed to roam around on their own." Alani replied, as Jungkook laid next to her on the floor sighing.

"We aren't supersatrs, noona." He said, smiling to himself again turning his head to face her.

"Can't believe little Jungkookie is going to be 20 this year." She said pinching his cheeks, he swatted her hands away.

"Will you stop calling me little and see me as a man when I turn 20?" He asked in random seriousness, causing Alani to sit and turn her body toward him.

"Why does it matter that much to you? The guys call you little Jungkookie alot." Alani asked, as the door opened Hoseok cheered seeing Alani, Alani smiled as he looked between the twoon the floor.

"Is Jungkookie finally confessing his feelings?" Hoseok said, Alani's eyes widened as Jungkook hit Hoseok's leg in annoyance trying to get him to stop laughing. "Anyways, we got to head to the salon, I'll text you later." Hoseok said, Jungkook stood up along with Alani, Hoseok heading out the door first.

"We'll talk when you graduate." Alani said, grabbing her stuff, putting on a hoodie and walking up to the taller male, kissing his cheek. "See ya, Jungkook." She said, leaving the practice room.

Graduation day.

Jungkook was hoping Alani would show up with the guys but knew she wouldn't be able to, but couldn't help hoping.Hoseok eventually facetimed her after they all ate together heading back home for the day, she congratulated Jungkook to which he was flustered.

They have yet to have the talk that involves feelings and if they are going to date or not.

interactions » When they do see each other there are shy smiles, and Jungkook hates when the guys embrass him in front of her. As he only wants to show a good side of him. He sends her selfies when they are traveling and are just waiting around, otherwise he is face timing her  and texting her a good amount of the time. Alani has him saved as the cookie emoji in her phone, while he has her set as the koala emoji. Alani watches all of their performances, Jungkook has given her a seat at their upcoming world tour, which they also you for their families. Jungkook always buy a small gift like a keychain from the different countries they go to for Alani.
