She thinks a-line dresses are really cute, and she'll wear them when the weather is good. (x x x) She also doesn't like to wear makeup and mostly focuses on treating her acne because her skin is constantly oily and breaking out.

Bitna has never really known when to give up. She's a headstrong character who will continue on her chosen path until someone ends her life :")) that applies to more than just her goals though, because Bitna is totally a mom friend and will go through hell to see her friends alright :")) anyway I know intelligence isn't relaly a trait but hey hear me out fam: she's smurt that's for sure but she's also got a high EQ ;)) see what I mean? She knows what to say, what to do, how to act, in all sorts of social interactions. Her random trivia knowledge comes in handy on game nights... she's also thoughtful, if you can't tell already. She's a TYPICAL mom friend and notices the small details like your favorite coffee order, your nervous tics, etc, and she'll try to make you feel good about yourself :")) although to be fair she's often really quiet because of what happened during her childhood, and she really doesn't want to make people get mad at her, so instead of saying something potentially offending, Bitna chooses to just not say anything

On the other hand, Bitna is so ing stubborn it hurts. She's so dead set on her ways that it literally takes an entire group of people to get her to change her mind about something. Due to her being hurt a lot in the past, Bitna often chooses to focus on herself more than other people. Granted, this isn't the worst trait, but she can be really childish with this, throwing tantrums and everything, just because something's made her unhappy. For instance, if she's mad at someone, she can ignore them until they apologize, even when it's clearly her fault (she's been working on communicating thoroughly, though). ;;; anyway lol she's one of the blunter ppl. Other ppl can sugarcoat, but not Bitna. She blasts the truth at you, no matter whether or not you wanted it, and it hurts like a ;;; don't piss her off aight XD anyway, she's also REALLY REALLY messy. She's never really known how to do chores because her dad usually did that, and although she's able to clean up after herself, it's just so much easier to throw stuff on the floor and pick it up later XD (except she doesn't pick it up later ;;)

bckground. Bitna was born in Qingdao, China, to a Chinese mother and a Korean father. She had a pretty normal childhood, but her mother had anger issues and would always take her anger out on her family. Bitna was always pretty scared of her mother and tried not to make her mad, but her mother would continue to insult her and talk about how lazy everyone in the family was. Even though Bitna wasn't overweight, her mother would always talk about how fat Bitna was, how stupid she was for getting one B on a school assignment, how lazy she was for not helping out with chores even though she was studying, etc. It was pretty hard on Bitna and her dad, but Bitna tried to be as optimistic as possible. She still ended up with self-esteem issues, though, but eventually, her parents divorced when she was in middle school. Bitna's dad won custody of her, and they moved to Seoul.

Because Bitna had always spoken Chinese, it was hard for her to live in Korea. The culture wasn't too different, but she couldn't understand anyone, and she fell behind in her classes. But it was in school that she met one of her closest friends, Blair Wang. She moved to Korean from Shanghai, and they quickly bonded because of their similar backgrounds. The more they hung out, the more they realized how similar they were. They soon became best friends and spent a lot of time together. Bitna's Korean got better, and middle/high school was spent like any other normal kid. Bitna's dad never remarried out of respect for his daughter. Instead, he encouraged her to study hard so that she could become someone great. Bitna ended up getting to Seoul National University along with Blair, and they roomed together with two other roommates. Currently, Bitna is a sophomore in college, majoring in applied physics. While at the college, she holds a part-time job as assistant to the librarian, helping to shelf books that people leave behind. She holds the job because she wants to help pay for college (so she won't make her dad go broke ;;) and also because it means she can spend some time out of the dorm away from Ahri lololol

When Bitna was a kid, her mother was really strict on her but not overly so. As she grew older, her parents' marriage fell apart, and Bitna's mother became more irritable and started criticizing her daughter about everything, even things that weren't true (like Bitna being overweight), and Bitna did all she could to not make her mother mad. Towards the end of her life in China, Bitna wasn't on good terms with her mother at all.

Bitna wasn't close with her dad until her mother became unbearable. Actually, it was pretty awkward when they first moved to Korea, but Bitna's dad tried his best to make life better than it was in China, and Bitna tried not to make him worry too much about her. They're on pretty good terms now, and although Bitna misses having a mom, she doesn't want her father to remarry, and he understands that.

Bitna met Blair in middle school, after she just moved to Korea. Blair had just moved from Shanghai, so they were both really bad at Korean and falling behind in their classes. They talked in Chinese in the beginning and helped each other catch up in class, but as they began to get better at Korean, they started mixing the two languages. Then, they got into the same college and became roommates. Bitna's a bit more studious than Blair, who would rather go shopping. Blair talks a lot, and she's friends with a lot of people, but oftentimes, she acts childish and complains whenever things don't go her way.

When Bitna and Blair moved into their college dorm, they found two people already there: Ahri and Kyungwon. They exchanged greetings and stuff, and Bitna thought that they would all get along fine. However, Bitna had never really lived outside home before, and she thought "well, this is going to be my home for the next four years, might as well act like it", so she started unpacking, and her stuff went everywhere. She's not entirely a messy person, but she just wanted to make it seem more homely by putting her stuff around the room. Ahri, who's sort of a neat freak, told her to clean it up, and Bitna told her she wowuld soon. Two days later, Bitna came back from class to find Ahri picking up her stuff. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" she yelled, because she hates it when people touch her stuff. Ahri said she was cleaning up for her because it's been two whole days and she still hadn't cleaned up, and Bitna's like don't touch my ing stuff!! So they both got pissed off at each other, and they try not to interact. It's been two years, though, so they can manage to tolerate each other, although they're still not the greatest of friends. (Imagine what happened when they were both called in to save Faeritael lolll)

Kyungwon manages to be friends with a lot of people, although she loves to prank her friends. When they moved in, Kyungwon was the first to welcome Bitna, and she tries to talk Bitna and Ahri into becoming friends. She's not entirely a mom friend (that was Bitna's job), but she had to become the "dorm mom" because Bitna and Ahri had that huge falling-out. She and Blair get along well and often talk about helping Bitna and Ahri make up. Bitna's a bit awkward with Kyungwon, but she genuinely enjoys her company. If only she could stop trying to get Bitna to make up with Ahri....

PRSONLITY.

— Changhyun is usually a pretty loud and outspoken person. He likes to have fun and tells a ton of bad jokes, mostly puns. Although he's a senior, he both looks and acts like a freshman, so many people tend to underestimate him. He's actually a really smart dude, majoring in applied physics on a full ride to Seoul National University. He does tend to be a bit childish and is sickeningly affectionate with friends, but he knows when to be serious, and he's actually quite logical in the face of panic. He's somewhat of a prankster and enjoys pulling practical jokes on people, but if he goes too far, he will apologize no less than ten times and try to do stuff to make up for hurting that person.

lovestory. 

— When Bitna entered college, she was automatically assigned to a "big sibling" within her major. Turns out, she ended up getting assigned to Changhyun. He was a really fun person and told Bitna to text him whenever she had troubles or just wanted to hang out. She didn't want to bother him at first, but then within a month, she ran into trouble understanding her lectures, so she texted him and asked him to help her with homework. They ended up setting up a schedule, three times a week, to make sure Bitna understood the lectures and knew how to do homework. This continued all the way through the year, and when it was exam time, Changhyun would always bring Bitna some food and make sure she ate and got enough sleep. "You can't pass if you collapse," he said, and he was right. Bitna ended up passing her exams with all As and Bs. They made plans to hang out during the summer too, and it was right before sophomore year started that Bitna realized she had feelings for him. She knew she couldn't avoid him entirely, so she resolved to rely on his help less and study more on her own. However, he was still worried about her and kept texting her to ask if she was okay, if she needed any help, that he'd be glad to help. She kept telling him that it was fine, but eventually (right before the story starts), she decided to confess her feelings. He didn't give her a straight answer, but it was implied that he didn't want to become romantically involved with her.
