Hyoyeon reveals she was upset that she was unable to take the center during Girls' Generation's debut

Hyoyeon got honest about her position in Girls' Generation.

On the June 1 airing of JTBC4's 'Secret Unnie', Hyoyeon and MAMAMOO's Whee In looked back on their debut days.

Hyoyeon said, "I had a long training period so I had big dreams of making my debut. So I cried a lot when I finally did."

She continued, "I used to think I was the best before debuting but after I debuted, my company had YoonA, who's tall and has the visuals, in the center of the picture."

Hyoyeon admitted, "At the time, it was hard to accept the fact that I wasn't the center. So I had a hard time but then I realized that people will recognize me even if I'm standing on the side."

this is so sad and tbh i didn't even notice that yoona was the center. i would always think it was seohyun, jessica, tiffany, or taeyeon.
