Blurry Vision
Just some blabbers about a conversation I never had...
I run up the stairs, finding her kneeling on the ground, packing her bags
- what are you doing?
- I don't wanna talk
- You're leaving, right? Why?
- I'm not gonna explain to you
- You love someone, am I right?
- (Silence)
- The fact that you don't answer means that I'm right.
She shrugs as she keeps refusing to answer
- I can't believe, I didn't see this coming, I thought you weren't capable of love, that's how you always acted around me.
- Hey, weren't you always saying we're not bound to this? That we keep this friendship because we enjoy it not because we have to?
- I used to say that to keep you next to me, God! I feel betrayed, why could you never love me and here you fall for someone else all of a sudden?
I walk away as tears are welling up in my eyes, I run out of the house, to the field hosting our home. I run and run and run, when I can hardly breathe through the heavy sobbing I fall to my feet, gripping a handful of grass and pulling them out of soil, I scream silently till my throat hurts, then lie down on the grass, waiting for tears to go away so I can see the stars.
Deep breath... 1,2,3,4... exhale... deep breath... 1,2,3,4... exhale...
my vision gets cleared but I still can't see the stars, they've vanished. It's just an endless black screen spreading in my view. Dammit! She packed the stars too.
