5. she's a dork. she really is. bok's quite the jokester. she may seem cold and off-putting to other people, but with her friends, she likes to make puns and poke fun at them and makchum at karaoke and she just loves having fun with people she loves you know

6. sometimes, though, (ok more like all the time) she uses that playful attitude to cover up the truth. bok is admittedly not the best at expressing herself (hence being called a tsundere by her friends when she does inconspicuous acts of kindness for them) and has just found it too much of a hassle to deal with emotions, so instead, she buries them. and never talks about them. ever. buuuuut a bottle can only be so full !!

7. bok loves her friends !! and will do anything for them !! as long as it's not against the law !! maybe !! and she tries really hard to be compassionate and patient to other people but there's only so much she can take before she sees the need to speak up.

8. tldr ??? she could care less about people that aren't her mom or the iota members but she still tries to be nice ! she's not very good at being affectionate though, or at expressing how she feels in general, so she doesn't. she feels like an attention-seeker anyways, and so dismisses her problems to try to be there for her friends who she believes need more cheering up than her. ("you're a strong woman anyways, bok, you can get through this on your own")

JUST A FRIEND iota club is much less a legit club than an excuse for the group of friends to hang out. the crew has known each other since junior high, and that's the only reason bok is in this gaming club. otherwise, she wouldn't even think twice about playing video games. bok isn't lying when she says she knows little past the era of mario, but being in this club has subjected her to learning more about the world of gaming than she ever would have wanted to know. she doesn't dislike playing with her friends, though, and actually proves to be fairly good at most of the games, enough that the iota members accuse her regularly of practicing on her own at home, though bok dismisses the idea of doing this kind of thing on her own time.

JUST A FASHION ICON bok wakes up an hour before school starts everyday so she can have enough time to get ready. every other day she'll squeeze a shower into that hour, then onto her simple, yet evidently effective, skincare routine. she might throw in a couple sit ups or yoga poses to really wake up her body before putting on her uniform. depending on how she feels that day, bok will walk or bike to school, earbuds in, and then the day at seonhwa begins. bok is your average student, occasionally performing a bit above that average, but never below. her attentiveness in class varies day to day, but her behavior towards her classmates never changes. bok isn't the most social person, and while she'll cooperate on group projects, she'd rather not speak to anyone outside of the iota club that she doesn't have to speak to. as a result, many of her classmates think bok is cold and quite mysterious - mysterious mostly just because they wonder why someone like bok is in a club like iota. .. .but bok likes being called mysterious because it makes her seem charismatic *thumbs up*

JUST BROKEN bok has grown up in a broken family - she's lived with just her mother ever since junior high, when her parents split. it hit her pretty hard, which is a big reason as to why she's so invested in the group of friends she has now. the gang came together around the same time the divorce happened, so they were essentially bok's only comfort at that time, and so a big part of her heart goes out to them. the company they gave her helped her to somewhat put the past behind her, but there's still a lot she hasn't moved on from. for example, there's a lot of bitterness she still harbors towards the man that cheated on her mother - and not only him, but the parts of her life he took part in. bok used to take ballet lessons when she was little - her dad would drive her 30 minutes one way and 30 minutes back so she could do what she loves, but when he left the picture, so did any trace of dance. bok loved to dance, and probably still would if she wasn't so scared to approach it again after all the memories it'll bring back, but she doesn't feel ready to face all of that just yet. this is the one aspect of her life absolutely no one outside of her family knows about, and even her mom has learned that it's more than just a sore subject, after many times of asking if she wanted to take it up again, only to get no response.

✼ she loves mermaids and has been mildly obsessed with them since childhood. sirens are cool, too, because amen to strong women who do what they want to while simultaneously demolishing male chauvinism.

✼ bok loves boba, she really does. she admits to the unhealthy obsession, but can't help admiring her collection of snaps in which she pierces plastic lids with colorful boba straws. ( called her bobadventures, it's a thing of hers she does whenever she gets boba. she'll record her stabbing through the lid, just for the sake of commemorating the joyous moment. also, it sounds pleasing sometimes - and you can bet she brings her friends in on it, too, if they're there. )

✼ her ultimate role model is lee sunmi. hyuna comes in at a close second.

✼ she love love loves babies and animals. they're the only things that can get lee bok at her softest - if she's with any one of them, it's like nothing else in this world exists.

✼ so of course she would love to have a pet, but sadly, her mum is allergic to animal fur :'( banana is thus her secret lover, complete with early morning rendezvous and late night snacks.

IOTA CLUB a group of people very special to lee bok. the only girls she'll actually show occasional skinship to, and the only boys she doesn't always consider as trash. having been there for bok in her hardest time (even just physically), they've won a place in her heart that is much treasured. bok really feels like she can be her true, loud, playful self with them, and while she may not always (see: never) express it, she truly loves them.

  

SEOK YULYEONG bok really admires yul because she just seems so...perfect. she's intelligent, she's kind-hearted, she's selfless, she's just so beautiful, both inside and out and she can also kick your in ss iv with the purest smile on her face so hah. the two may not have the most fun together or the most wildest times than bok with anyone else in the club (but that's not to say they don't have fun at all!), but bok has a really soft spot for yul, especially since the valedictorian is always encouraging her to open up. she always makes bok feel understood, even if bok doesn't say anything, and bok just has a really big desire to have yul feel the same way. a victim of doing it herself...all the time...bok knows that yul bottles things up a lot, too, and so has more compassion for her in that way, too.

  

YAO XIAODAN straight up, bok didn't like sodam at first. everyone knows iota club is basically just yul+co specific, so asking to enter the club was like asking to enter the friend group. this was not favorable in bok's eyes, because she's not the most...welcoming person. she tries her best to be nice to people, but it takes a lot for her to call someone a friend. so by joining the club, she feels like sodam is forcing her to acknowledge her as a friend. she tries not to express her distaste for the transfer student too much, but it gets harder to, once she finds out more about sodam and realizes that she's not a fake nice and that she genuinely cares and that she's a robot and that she's not forcing bok into anything. so ultimately, they're pretty distant at first until they start spending more time with each other and understanding more about each other.

  

BIRTHGIVER bok loves her mom and would do anything to make her happy. of course they have the occasional argument that's inevitable of a mother and daughter, but the lack of a significant male figure in their lives has ultimately made them stronger and more dependent on each other. and while the two don't talk to each other all that much about their problems in fear of burdening each other, they're working towards more vulnerability in their relationship. (idrk ,,, this is just to show that bok's mom is really important to her!!)

  

A LOVER, NOT A FIGHTER a tall boi who can really show bok that not all men are trash. a handsome man who can bandage the wounds her father left behind. a good guy who can really just change her for the better, and who can keep his promises. (totally optional, honestly, bok doesn't need a man but if you want :'))
