— Alex is a very interesting appearance. Not a full visual, but not an ugly guy either. He has his own set of charms that people love. A lovely voice, adorable small eyes, a smile that heals and a surprisingly great body for a gamer. His eyes are very weak, so he has to wear strong glasses or lenses. When he wears his glasses, his eyes look even smaller, looking like a dork and sometimes ing up his face completely, but when he wears lenses instead, he's going to steal yo girl. He has an adorable piggy nose that others love to boop and very soft, black hair. Long story short: he's desirable, in his own way, yet an adorable dork.

Energetic: Alex has always been a hyper boy who was overflowing with energy. He always took it out with practicing several sports, and he's become a very athletic boy. Not necessarily muscled, but he has incredible stamina and speed, because he has been into long distance running all his life, because it was easy to shake off the energy he had too much.

Charming and social: Alex is a real stan attractor and steals a lot of hearts. He might not be a standard visual, but is still loved by many for his looks. He knows how to charm anyone with his words, voice and expressions. He's extremely social and makes friends easily. But sometimes he gets too excited and social, and he becomes a huge chatterbox that will stick to you just to finish his story that he's telling for the nth time. He can't shut up, unless someone tapes his mouth. Some people get really annoyed by that, but others love it.

Confident and conceited: Alex knows best, he knows that he can wind anyone around his finger in no time, and that makes him very confident. He feels like he could take on the world by himself, and that might be a bit too much, but it really boosts his mood. He kinda lives from his confidence, it makes him happy and ready to work hard and make it. It was only a matter of time that he got overconfident, and it is making him conceited as well. He thinks he's very good-looking, and even though he still cares about his friends, he just can't help wanting to admire himself and brag. However, when he gets put down with both feet back on earth by the others, he'll calm down immediately and apologise, realising he went too far again. He would never bring anyone down to bring himself up though.

Humorous: Alex has lots of humor, and while he loves to brag about himself, he also knows very well how to make fun of himself. He has a great sense of humor and is pretty much laughing at all time. He often brings sunshine into the group at a dull moment with some good jokes. Never a dull or sad moment with this guy around. He also perfectly knows how to play along with fandom jokes and have fun in serious games. (FORGIVE ME FOR THAT PUN I COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING BETTER I'M SORRY)

Boyish, foolish and childish: What many people don't expect is that Alex is actually behind on people of his age when it comes to maturity. He isn't ready to become an adult and is still amused by things like a plane flying by or a little bird eating his bread. In that aspect he's still like a teenager, sometimes even a child, and he really needs someone to look after him, because he just can't stay on his own for long without messing something up and panicking. He also really believes anything his friends say and trusts them blindly. He can be really foolish and get into trouble because of that, and it also makes him seem stupid depending on what's going on.

Emotional and envious: Alex' childish nature makes him very vulnerable to emotions. Especially sadness and anger. One bad thing can turn him into a crybaby or a fuming, stomping and kicking boy who lashes out at everything that moves. His moods change quickly, and when he's not happy, he can become jealous at anyone or anything that is better than him, it's crazy. It's said that the group's general mood is fully determined by Alex' mood. He also gets jealous easily if others are doing better, but he'll try to hide it.

Flamboyant: Alex is quite the odd guy, he's not super attractive, but still many people feel attracted to him like a magnet. No one knows why, but there is something about the way he smiles, speaks, behaves that makes him stand out between others. He sometimes uses it to his advantage, which makes him appear even more conceited.

BACKGROUND : Alex was born into a family that seemed perfect. They were rich, happy and good-looking, living somewhere in a penthouse in the middle of Busan. Alex was the only child and he was a young and happy kid, at least it seemed so. But just like his parents, he was a great actor. It was really an acting family, and because of their jobs, his parents were often gone from home. He was basically raised by a nanny with a lack of affection, he was just drilled to enter the idol world and since a young age he was trained by several teachers hired by his parents to teach him music, manners, acting and more. This might turn out as a drama story, but no, it won't go on like that.

His parents wanted to have a breakthrough in America, so they risked everything to move there, to Houston. That might not be a good choice to live when you want to become an actor, but his parents were so rushed that they didn't even think about that. While they were trying to get jobs in LA and Hollywood, Alex was left alone in Houston with a bunch of nannies and teachers, again. Under the boy that seemed like an ideal actor and idol hid a little child that had lost so much of his childhood that he wanted to catch onto it. He started to disobey the teachers, ditch their various acting and singing lessons and started to find ways to catch onto his lost childhood. The thing he liked the most? Games. After doing his school homework, Alex would spend the whole evening playing games. He was a good kid, but there was no stopping him. The young teenage boy felt at his best when gaming, so when youtube started to have their rise and Twitch afterwards as well, Alex started to have thoughts of making it his career. He also considered becoming a pro gamer, but he thought the seriousness and pressure weren't cut out for him. Alex didn't want to stick to one game either. Somewhere in late 2012, Alex started his first stream. It was a failure, no one watched and his parents walked in on him when arriving home for a surprise visit. They were fuming when they realised what he has been doing. Alex defended himself, but it didn't help, until the nanny talked some sense into their heads, and the parents decided to just let him be. But Alex was very disappointed in them, so he wanted to leave the house asap. Once he turned 18, he moved out of the house and went to live in an apartment at the other side of the city, but he wasn't that popular on Twitch yet and was struggling to keep his head above the water at the start. He pulled through when he suddenly got a sub explosion, and Alex had to not only expand the games he played, but also his platform. In 2013, he started out on youtube as well. The boy never felt this good in his life, but he felt lonely, he spend most of his time streaming, recording or editing at home, so he didn't have many friends anymore. Also, Alex wasn't the type to stick to one thing only. Only games was nothing for him. But he couldn't do anything else except for... singing and acting. Maybe he should give it a try after all?

In 2015, the video got uploaded, the video that would change it all. It was titled '20K likes and I'll apply for superstar K7!'. He originally thought that it would never reach that amount, and that he would never had to go... But after two weeks, this video actually reached 20k likes. Alex was stunned. But he had promised, so he applied for Superstar K and got in. He made the... weird choice to perform JYP's Who's your mama on his first appearance. He was unintentionally funny while trying his best, and when he started to do Jessi's rap as well, the whole audience lost it. He got to the next round, and he noticed that his song choices weren't really good, so he listened to advice from the judges, and the next round was a world of difference from the first one. A beautiful song, a beautiful voice, on the acoustic guitar, raking in all the swooning fangirls. Alex really enjoyed performing, and even when he got eliminated right before the finals, he showed great improvement and skills, and he wanted more. That's when Alex decided to start combining his youtube career with training, so he could debut as idol as well. It was going to be extremely exhausting, but youtubers never get much sleep anyway. Alex was prepared, and he joined Starship just a week after superstar k7 ended. So yeah, he was basically with starship for a few months at most before his song was released.

When Alex was in middle school, a new girl joined, not his class, because she's younger, but she still stood out to him. She had Korean blood in her, but unlike Alex, wasn't fully Korean. She was left out because of her race by the other girls of the first year, so Alex decided to approach her, curious about why she was there, and how she got in Houston while she obviously wasn't American either. Tiana and Alex grew close quickly, and Alex kinda became her safe haven where she could empty her heart. They are now best buddies who can't see each other a lot anymore. While Tiana is now admired for her mixed race looks at her college, she only has eyes for Alex, and has been crushing on him for a while.

Alex thought he would get along with all his groupmates, but he ended up not getting along with Heeun. Alex is absolutely anti-drama, and Heeun loves creating drama. Of course they would collide. Alex often gets angry and yells at Heeun when he's doing stuff like that. Alex doesn't believe anything Heeun says, and they are bound to get into a fight sooner or later. It is definitely going to get worse and eventually escalate if no one beats some sense into Heeun soon. Okay, he does have his nice moments, but that doesn't make him a good person in Alex' eyes.

When Alex plays with people, he plays with these youtubers. It all started with Basically and Daithi, who occasionally played league of legends, and Alex joined the crew that way. He now mostly plays with them and has met them all in real life too. He's one of the younger members of the crew with Miniladd and smii7y, and he mostly plays with Bigjigglypanda, Miniladd, Smii7y and Kryozgaming, because they don't play as much fortnite. He really misses the guys and wants to go to America whenever he gets the chance to meet them. Maybe on the next big gaming convention, he'll get the chance? Since he started playing with the squad, Alex' channel really grew a lot.

CAREER:

Started out as gaming twitch streamer in 2012, but has joined youtube in 2013 as well. Mostly Overwatch, League of Legends, golf it, uno, sometimes fortnite and COD and some ing around on sims 4, yandere simulator, Stick fight, GTA V and gmod and also some covers, who are mostly comical but still show his singing skills. His youtube channel is currently around the size of an up and coming youtuber, with 1,7 million subs, and after a collaboration on League of legends with Basicallyidowrk and Daithidenogla, he has started to often join the Vanoss crew in various games, but has never played with Vanoss himself. Unlike many other gaming youtubers, he doesn't only play Fortnite at the moment and prefers to keep all his content a mix.

— Alex didn't train for long at all, because he had been fully fledged out by his parents at a young age already. He was more than ready to just get thrown into it all. He needed some time to get adjusted though, his schedule was completely messed up and his youtube fans were waiting for him too. At the beginning, he had some sleepless nights, trying to juggle it all together, but he got way more efficient in his work now. He also had to be teached lots of image related stuff. Youtubers like him curse a lot, and he's used to it, but he can't do that on broadcast. He has to take on a role model image that is not his real self, and he can't let himself go anymore. He also forgot about lots of the Korean culture, so he had to be teached all that as well. It wasn't easy for Alex in those few short months, but the people who had the hardest time were his teachers.

SCANDALS (OPTIONAL) : 

— Cosmic boys Alex caught cursing on broadcast :: of course he had to have a slip-up. He got scolded for it and apologised and it was all fine.
— Cosmic boys Alex under fire for behavior on youtube and amongst female idols :: it's just the real him, and while the comments from the hating knetz hurt him deeply, fans stood up for him, saying that it's just him, a flirty man who curses a lot but he really doesn't mean any harm. From this scandal, Alex can say that he felt a stronger bond with his fans from that day on.

LIFE IN COSMIC BOY : When Alex heard that he was going to be revealed first, he was taken aback. This fast? Why? Why would he be revealed first? It all came so fast. And it all yet had to come. Alex didn't feel like he was ready yet, but he decided that this might be his only chance, so he grabbed it with both hands like a greedy child. Until he heard the song assigned to him. It was not his style... at all. It wasn't what he expected at all, and to be very honest... he didn't like it. He had to go rant to other trainees about it, and they only explained that that was the idol life, and even if they get songs they dislike, idols should just go on and perform them. So Alex followed the plan, and at least the song is tolerable now.

When Alex heard what he was supposed to do, he complained and proclaimed that he wanted to ing die. But that was just him overreacting. He didn't have to change much of himself actually, he could really be his usual self, but he really had to try acting like an idol. Stop the endless cursing, be cleaner. Alex Han basically had to split himself in two, youtuber Definitely Not Alex, and the idol Alex Han. It wasn't easy to  become like a mr. Clean version of himself, but he is doing his best. Sometimes he still lets something slip, but he's getting better and better at keeping his youtuber persona separated from his idol persona. Well, others don't see it as that hard, he just has to censor his mouth, be a bit cleaner and... don't be such a damn flirt. Alex mothering Han, can you stop flirting with every female guest on variety shows???

When Alex heard of being in such a big group, he was happy at first. In America, Alex was very lonely, and one of the main reasons he wanted to try out singing in Korea was to possibly get him into a boy group. He wanted some buddies to live with and share his fun together. The friends he made online as youtuber are now far away from him and he can barely meet them. Originally he was really excited to meet the new boys, but once they started living together, he actually grew to like it less. No offense, he really loves all the boys, but 13 is sooo big and the dorm is so noisy and busy that his streams and youtube videos get interrupted at all time. He either has to keep up with the chaos or record the videos when the rest sleeps, when he obviously can't scream like he usually does. Also, he expected to befriend everyone, but he doesn't really like that slithery snake of a Heeun like can you stop making drama please??

The positions? Alex doesn't really mind. The only thing about him is that he thinks he doesn't deserve his own position. Alex literally came to Korea just a few months before he got assigned that position, it's just a bit... overwhelming, you know? At least people can't really say that he got the position because he's a visual... Well, they say that he got it for his fame, and it really makes Alex feel terrible.

Alex can handle the pressure extremely well, he has grown up under pressure and he knew that it was going to come as well. But he's extremely sensitive to the hate he gets, and other members often have to take care of him and comfort him. He is confident about his skills and all, but the bad words just pierce right through his heart and make the poor kid sad.

Alex absolutely hates the drama that happens in the group. it happens way too often and Alex often tries to solve the problems, but he'll most of the time end up either making it worse or crying. Alex hates drama makers, and that's why he also doesn't really like Heeun. Drama is made by stupid people only and Heeun is therefor stupid :<

COMMENTS : Okay so hey I have quite a lot to say about the faceclaim of this beautiful man. Yes, he is not an idol, but he is still a celebrity, a pro gamer in fact. Alex Han was originally only meant to be a character for a streamer house fic, but that one went inactive, and he was like one of my favourite characters I ever made. So I wanted to find a new home for this man, but I didn't want to change the fc. But I once saw an idol group which had a yuzuru hanyu in it so I was like 'if yuzuru can be in a boy group, SMEB CAN TOO!' I included two back-up faceclaims. Bang is another pro gamer, but he did like a photoshoot that really looks like an idol magazine photoshoot, but just in case you really don't think these two boys could work (which would make me really sad ;;;;), there is also an idol faceclaim as back-up. But yeah if you decide to go with Smeb (or Bang), if you can't find a good picture, I can always try to help you! (looking for Smeb's real name in hangul also helps! 송경호) Also I switched plotlines like a thousand times, originally wanting to go for a rapper. But I took a zodiac personality test for this man and I ended up with Aries so yeah main vocal it is lmao. Anyway, if you don't want to combine his youtuber career with the idol life, you can maybe make him quit, i'm fine with that. Anyway, I really hope you like this odd one!
