Do me a favor and look at your surroundings. Look through the people who you are surrounded with. Do you really know them? Or did they succesfully manipulate your judgement with what you wanted to see? Take note that not everything is going to bw your way. Every other relationship has lies taped all over it, and if your eyes are open and your mind is clear enough you would know that not every person you trust is trusted by the other people that are surrounding you. 

If you think of it. You barely know the people surrounding you. Only oneself can read themselves. Be aware that you are the book and that they are the chapters; and that not all chapters are explained clearly. Before you defend these people, think for yourself. Are you defending the right? Or are you defending the wrong? Keep into mind that no matter the amount of facts you could list about the person you're defending for the people to see, not everything is going to be your way. 

Does it ever bother you that you're not the only person with secrets hidden under your grave? Keep wandering. If getting lost in your thoughts is the only way to get out of the maze you have been stranded in, keep thinking.
