UAL ORIENTATION — Questioning
FACE CLAIM & BACKUP — Jeon Jungkook Backup: Kim Mingyu
APPEARANCE — His height is 180 cm, and weighs 69 kg. He used to be quite small, but he actually managed to gain some weight after joining BBC. His hair is dyed brown, and kind of overgrown. His arms are significantly tanner than his face, which provides for a strange appearance, but he's still one of the visuals of the group.
STYLE — He has a pretty simple style; t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers are his go-to outfit. He never does his hair unless stylists do it for him. Even so, there's no shortage of him in fancy outfits because of the group's concepts.

IN DEPTH
PERSONALITY — Jiwoon, being among the oldest, has to act mature for the younger ones. However, this really isn't how he wants to continue. He feels like a bird that's too big for his wings. He still feels like a child even after 20 years of life. Although he acts mature on camera, he can't seems to match that maturity on the inside. Still, even though he's gotten much better about it, loses his temper and doesn't want to carry out his responsibilities sometimes. He doesn't like it when other people tell him what to do when he himself doesn't want to do it.

With the temper thing, Jiwoon has a very fiery temper. Despite technically being an adult, he really can't hold it in when he gets angry. He throws tantrums, which probably doesn't help his argument at all... Just think of a bratty kid in a candy shop...

On the brighter side, he's very ambitious. When he really wants to do something, he would sacrifice his life for that goal. He got into BBC just under a year ago, which was a very late age for trainees to begin, but he still persisted anyways. Even when the company gave him a song and stage name he didn't like, he still tried to overlook it because he saw it as a stepping-stone for his end goal to debut. He's optimistic and has a tendency to look on the bright side of things, truly believing NOX will succeed and become the biggest boy group of the decade.

To the members, he's not exactly the loudest, but he's not exactly shy either. He prefers to form close personal relationships with each of the members. Through this, the members know that he actually craves a lot of affection and quite bubbly to say the least, which the fans don't know. In honesty, he is actually a really affectionate person that craves skinship but he's quite camera-shy. To the public, he's known as the "manly man" of the group, seemingly mature and serious, but that is because he becomes a lot more reserved on camera.

As the story progresses, as he becomes more comfortable in front of the camera, he lets his true personality slip out (not the temper part though lol). Fans think that NOX changed him, making him more childish and affectionate. On the contrary, he thinks he became more mature. While NOX did change him, he didn't become more childish at all; he just got rid of his tough facade and exposed his more immature side.

TL;DR —
(+) optimistic, ambitious, affectionate
(–) immature, short-tempered, irresponsible
(...) infp, gryffindor

BIOGRAPHY — Jiwoon was born to a middle class family in Seoul. There's not too much to say about his early life. He lived with his parents and older brother, and was brought up relatively well. He didn't have a passion as he was growing up. Sure, there was wanting to be an astronaut, cook, policeman, but nothing had ever come as close as "singer." It was all by chance really. He never really talked that much in school, yet craved attention. It wasn't until one day, several of his high school classmates were gathered around a desk, watching Big Bang's new music video 'Bang Bang Bang' when he realized that he wanted to have that. He wanted the attention that could only come from becoming a singer, which seems kind of bad, but it's not like he's going to tell anyone the truth.

So, he practiced. To his dismay, he was "horrifying average" at everything. Never terrible, but never much better than the average person. He persisted, attending many auditions for the next two years, until he was finally accepted by BBC, making him one of only trainees admitted by audition.

RELATIONSHIPS
BROTHER — Kim Jiyoung (25): isfj
— They weren't close as children, but have gotten closer after Jiyoung graduated and went to the military. Since he's come back from the military, they regularly text each other about life.

BANDMATE — Moon Hawon (19): infj
— Despite being the older of the two, Jiwoon is more immature than Hawon. Jiwoon bothers him quite a bit for affection.

LABLEMATE/BEST FRIEND — Jo Haseul (20): enfj
— Being the same age, and Haseul being Haseul, they became friends relatively quickly when they met. They always did everything together, but never did so outside of the training rooms for fear of rumors.

LABLEMATE — Park Chaewon (17): isfp
— She's known as Gowon from LOONA. BBC, with their theory-loving asses, gave Jiwoon her real name as a stage name, to both of their dismay. Outside of technically being counterparts for their music, they actually aren't that close. She's very shy, and Jiwoon didn't really bother talking to her or anything. She becomes much more significant later on, as she secretly has a crush on Jiwoon, and becomes a love rival.

TRAINING PERIOD — 11 months
TRAINEE LIFE — Joining the company almost 2 years after he graduated high school, he wasn't the oldest, but the age he joined the industry was the oldest. Being one of the older trainees, he wasn't bullied, but from the very beginning, he was the stereotypical "visual" member--not quite talented enough to compare to the other members. However, he worked hard, and it managed to land him a spot in NOX.

During his training years, there was a lot said about his age. About how it's practically too late for him, how he couldn't possibly make it in the next round of debut. Yet he blocked out those hurtful words. He may be immature and irresponsible, but this was the first thing he's ever worked hard for, and even if he fails this time, he'll keep going until he breaks all his bones.

When he first heard the demo for his song, he was terrified because it contained so much singing and it DEFINITELY sounded like a dance song despite BBC's denial. Surprisingly, the mostly vocal song turned out decent despite taking him a full twelve hours to record. He was feeling pretty good about it, until the next day, BBC decided to change their mind about choreography, adding choreography only a few days before they shot the MV, only adding to his nerves. Of course, it still turned out okay, but for the rest of NOX's songs, he never really had that much vocal part again, to his relief.

TALENT  Visual, Lead Rapper, Vocalist (at times)
TALENT TWINS —
—  Singing: Wanna One Jihoon
—  Dancing: Wanna One Jaehwan
—  Rapping: BTS Jungkook lol

ELABORATION —
— He was never absolutely terrible at everything, but the one thing that never improved past a certain threshold during his training was dance. He doesn't have fluidity to his body at all, making even the correct moves seem awkward.

the love INTEREST
FULL NAME — Cho Seungwan
BIRTHDAY & AGE — May 9, 1998 (19)
PERSONALITY — (COPIED STRAIGHT FROM FINALLY_HOME'S APP) Seungwan is one of the more mature members. He's usually pretty quiet and soft-spoken, but he knows how to have fun. He can go crazy from a single joke, and he has a pretty low humor tolerance (as in, everything makes him laugh lmao). He's always been very smart, which has lead to a lot of pressure and stress being put on him, and he's the type to keep it in, hold everything inside until he explodes. He hasn't exploded yet, but when he does, Seungwan will literally smash anything he sees. He could even murder someone if it came to it.

That being said, Seungwan knows how to keep calm in most situations. He's polite and cheerful, and he's always willing to help you if he's not busy. He's patient in explaining and genuinely wants others to succeed. On the other hand, if someone is doing better than he is, in a topic that he really wants to do well in, he can't help but envy them. He might not sabotage you, but he'll definitely distance himself from you.

He doesnt behave much differently when he's with the members. Just a bit more crazy, if anything. He's on pretty good terms with everyone, and yet he's always a bit distant, choosing to spend time alone more than with the members. He's formed close relationships with only two members, and the rest of them don't know him very well.
TL;DR —
(+) cheerful, patient, loyal
(–) cold, jealous, violent
(...) infp, ravenclaw

RELATIONSHIP — (get ready, it's a doozy) At first, Jiwoon was kind of scared of the younger. Seungwan seemed cold, but Jiwoon took it as a challenge to get closer. Jiwoon approached Seungwan after dance practice one day, and surprisingly, Seungwan wasn't as cold as he seemed. They trained together, enjoying each other's company, and Jiwoon was glad to have made a good friend.

The company's senior group, LOONA, had members Jiwoon was friends with. That's cool and all, but there was only one member that would never talk to him. Park Chaewon; stage name Gowon. They don't talk much, even after filming a scene in his music video together. But, one day, she confronts him with a love confession. Jiwoon, shocked, declines her, without knowing Seungwan saw the entire ordeal.

The change was not gradual, as Seungwan, very obviously, began to avoid Jiwoon. No matter what Jiwoon did, Seungwan wouldn't tell him what was wrong, to the point where it just felt like he was running around in circles. For some reason, he feels more upset than he should be. Gowon, seeing this, confronts Jiwoon again, this time, offering help. Jiwoon is grateful for her company, and Seungwan, seeing this, begins to flat-out ignore him. Eventually, Gowon confesses again, and this time, Jiwoon accepts.

Jiwoon dates Gowon for a while (secretly, of course), but still can't get Seungwan off his mind. Gowon is fully aware of this, but is happy to just be with him. When rumors start to actually surface about their relationship, she decides it's best for them to cut it off.

Jiwoon feels guilty that the only feeling that comes from their breakup is relief. Gowon was a genuinely nice girl, but he didn't really love her. Jiwoon decides to start again. He traps Seungwan in their dorm one day, demanding for answers. Seungwan explodes at Jiwoon for the first time, confessing his love. Jiwoon doesn't know how to react, and doesn't give Seungwan a reply for a week.

ANYTHING ELSE — Jiwoon admits that he's been having the same feeling without realizing, and he's unsure about how it will end up, but he's willing to give it a try.

THE noCTiverse

STAGE NAME — Chaewon

COLOUR — Burgundy (backup: Emerald)
ANIMAL — Vampire Bat (backup: Phoenix)
NAME OF DEBUT SONG — Trap by Henry

THE MUSIC VIDEO —
It's silent at first, save for the sound of fluttering wings. The screen lightens and you can see a bat trying to escape a cage.
— Sudden cut to Jiwoon dancing, then more bat imagery, the night sky, running through a forest, but it just seems like he's going around in circles.
— Most of the MV is just cuts of him dancing and singing. Think Jinsoul or Kim Lip lol
— In the ending, he stops running, turns around and jumps.
— In true "Olivia Hye"-style, he wakes up on a bed in the middle of nowhere, and it's finally sunrise. A girl with blonde hair and covered face pulls him up.
— I don't want to describe the entire MV scene by scene bc thats just way too much lol but I'll describe the imagery below.

SYMBOLISM —
Bats: Night usually represent the end. It's the end of the day, but what is born out of the darkness? Bats. Bats represent rebirth and new beginnings.
— New moon: When the camera shows the night sky in the MV, there's no moon in the sky. New moons represent beginnings, the start of the new lunar cycle.
— Running in circles: This represents never being able to find an end. In the case of this MV, the lack of an end represents how he's trapped in this never-ending cycle of illusory beginnings. Which is kind of strange, isn't it? Usually you need ends to make beginnings.
— Waking up: This symbolizes the true beginning.
— Stage name: Chaewon, although a female name, was given to him by BBC. Kind of similar to how Gowon from LOONA was almost given a male name (Adam), then actually given a male name (Gowon lol). But anyways, Chaewon represents beginnings, or origins, which, if you haven't noticed by now, is kind of his whole concept. Another connection fans have noticed is how Chaewon is Gowon's real name. Why would BBC take away Gowon's real name and give it to Jiwoon? hurhurhur She is basically Jiwoon's LOONA counterpart, with similar elements to their songs. Their music videos represents beginnings, Gowon's about the beginning of loving oneself, and Chaewon's about the beginning of finding oneself.
— The MV mainly takes place in The Mundus. He wakes up in the Aether (sunrise=peach colored skies?), pulled by the mystery girl (who we'll quickly realize as Gowon lol).
— The thing about Gowon is that she represents someone who had fallen to temptation, and that she's trying to drag Jiwoon along.
Well, how does this play into real life? All of his life, he's felt as if the life he's led wasn't his. Even when he thought he succeeded by the time he debuted, the debut just him into a new set of problems. He feels like he doesn't have enough control, and needs to find his "sunrise."

THE FINALE
QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, CONCERNS? — So cruel...I had to reread my cringy writing to fix the issues lol....
SCENE SUGGESTIONS — IM A ING FOR SLOW BURN
PASSWORD — Well, as stated before, he really doesn't like his stage name. He really doesn't get why it has to be Chaewon of all things, and he initially tried to get BBC to change it to his real name. Alas, he failed, and he just dealt with it. For his music video, he thought it would have been cool, if it wasn't him. His dancing really is inadequate, but the editing made it seem fine so whatever.
