[ neg ] morbid, sadistic, two-faced, cunning

PERSONALITY: Oh Junhee, the perfect little honors student who can do no wrong. She's sweet, and always has a constant smile on her face. She's always willing to help her fellow classmates when asked, though doesn't always speak up unless spoken to. Everyone that knows of her admires her for her pretty face, gentle personality, and her ability to turn her imagination into reality through her writing. Her peers have yet to find a flaw with her, besides maybe the fact that she doesn't talk as often as they'd like. When she does talk, she seemingly has the voice of an angel--and any word that leaves her lips automatically sounds like fact. She has a way of speaking that makes people want to listen to her and do what she says.

But Oh Junhee's fatal flaw is her hidden desires. The stories she writes for her college portfolio are garbage in her eyes, and the word documents she have hidden from curious eyes are the real treasure. She writes of tearing a man's eyes out of their sockets, peeling his skin off with an potato peeler, and other graphic details that even normal horror writers would shudder just thinking about. These are thoughts that she have in the middle of class, images she picture--where her victims are the very classmates who idolize her. She writes them to keep them at bay--to prevent her from becoming a criminal so she can keep living her life as the perfect honors student.

She's been keeping this split personality of hers a secret since she was young, and has yet to let it slip around anyone that would report her. She praises herself for her cautiousness around the public eye, but the few who do know her see her differently than her readers and her peers do. Her readers think she's a genius author, her peers think she's a sweet classmate, but her brothers know that cruel side of her and know the real her. They know her wishes to torture and to kill, but they also know how much she loves when she's loved back.

She cares deeply for those that care for her. Her brothers expressed that they will love her no matter what kind of person she really is, demonstrated by their loyalty to her that stuck to today, and because of that, she becomes clingy towards the few people she actually has by her side. If anything ever happens to them, she'd do anything to save them, even if it meant sacrificing her own life for them. She worries for their safety constantly, and because of that she has become protective over both her brothers, the only two that care for her despite knowing the real her.

History

BACKGROUND
: Ever since she was young, she's always watched the TV with such interest. Though her mother always switched the channel when she caught her eight year old daughter watching slasher and splatter films, she'd sneak into her older brother's room and persuade him to let her watch them so their mother wouldn't know. Something from those films changed her. Maybe if she hadn't watched those movies, she wouldn't be where she is today--she wouldn't have the desire to torture and kill.

"I write to make my fantasies my realities."

Junhee was seen by others as a sweet, considerate honors student that willingly helps her peers. She always has this little smile on her lips, and has a warm aura that makes her seem welcoming and approachable. She doesn't talk much, but others seem to go up to her to make conversation with her anyway. Despite her friendly demeanor and cheery smiles, she seems to have a wall that surrounds her, just close enough so others can't get past being acquaintances with her. Nobody can tell how she's really feeling, especially since she's either smiling or has a blank expression.

Junhee has a secret. She's a writer, writing under a penname to keep her warm, honors-student image. She writes to escape from her desires--the desire to wrap her thin fingers around her classmate's neck and hold tight until he turns purple, and dies of asphyxiation. She's always wondered how it would feel to watch someone die in front of her, by her own hands, but she'd be too insane to try it. She's not stupid, she's particularly intelligent, to be able to pull off such a believable mask and hide such a disgusting side of her. Others would think she's a lesser being if they saw how she really thought.

She's always wanted to torture, to kill, to watch her peers hang onto a thread of life with sparkling eyes. Unable to express this outwardly, and not wanting to be charged with murder, she pours all of these feelings into her writing--which made her popular within the literature community. Her realistic descriptions, her thoughts, words that she put on paper for her own selfish desires, they all appealed to society without them even knowing how much she wished those paragraphs of text could become her reality. She's published a very successful thriller novel that entails her desires, and she has plenty more in the works.

When she received the invitation, she was most surprised to see her penname printed at the top rather than her atual name. She hadn't ever revealed her identity to anyone, and she never had a PO box for her fans, so no one should've known where "Shin June" lived. Yet as she read further down the invitation, the wider her twisted smile grew. By the end, she set the letter down and murmured to her younger brother that she'd be gone on a "trip" for a while.

SUGGESTIONS:
+ i think it'd be interesting to see someone see the "real" junhee and be normal about it (aka be terrified) or just vibe with her (aka "wow i love murder too!")
+ someone there knowing her novel, and figuring out she's the author
+ if she does die, kill her in the most morbid way possible lol it's how she would wanna go
+ someone give this girl a knife.
+ junhee somehow managing to talk her way out of a really bad situation
+ her building an attachment to either one or multiple other people at the manor bc honestly she likes anyone that likes the real her.

COMMENTS: I actually applied to a fic similar to this one a while back so I used a similar character concept lol I hope that's alright, I thought she'd fit in very well into this.

PASSWORD: oh god, i just always laugh at stupid vines so forgive me.
