Why I hate Fat Acceptance

Why I hate day acceptance.

I was fat when I was a teenager and if anyone sees this post,

"Wow, you hate fat acceptance? Look who's talking..."

Well, its not like I'm hating on the person...

What I hate is their way of living, their chosen lifestyle.

They say that you have to accept what you are.

Listen very carefully.

If you are fat, you are not yourself.

Fat acceptance is like the acceptance of

so many diseases.

Hypertension, (brain attack), heart attack,

different types of heart diseases, diabetes, urinary tract infection,

Infertility (in female), pcos, cancer, endometrial cancer,

Stomach cancer and many Many more..

To every fat girl this is what I'm going to say,

I don't hate you as a person. I just want to awaken you

From that bad lifestyle and I want to save your life

from dying young.

I don't mean any harm. Just want you to be the best person

that you can be....

Fat acceptance is not about promoting being fat. Fat acceptance is not treating someone like because they're fat. If you see a scrawny guy, are you going to treat him like ? Nope. That's what fat acceptance is. It's called accepting that fat people aren't inferior or lower than you. And please don't act blind and say that fat people aren't treated badly in society. The fact that just if you're chubby (not overweight), you're already mocked for your looks is enough proof. Look at Lee Hi. She used to be called fat and undebutable and was forced to lose weight when it's obvious she wasn't overweight to a point it affected her health.

And by the way, there are many other reasons why people are fat. Did you know that antidepressants can cause extreme weight gain? Did you know that people suffer from poor coping mechanisms due to previous trauma and abuse? Are you really that stupid to think that a fat person goes "oh, today's a good day to chug food and kill myself because being fat is awesome". Fat people often suffer from poor self-image and people like you simplify the matter when statistics show that most fat people have went on diets or tried to change their weight but failed to.

People like you often have some kind of selective moral superiority when it comes to certain issues. When it comes to fat people, you're concerned about their health and tell them to change their habits because "it hurts them", but when it comes to people with bad lifestyles (e.g. smoking, drinking), you guys are suddenly not as concerned to in.

I try to tell ppl this too, and ofc it a polite way, and I only talk about this with my friends, but sometimes they get offended ;-; It's even worse when they accept my advice but their other friends think that I'm trying to hut her, but that's now what I mean like akfjakjdoq ;-;
