Sunhee

NAME: Lee Sunhee
NICKNAME: none
AGE: 19
BIRTHPLACE: Seoul, South Korea
ETHNICITY: Korean
FACECLAIM: Loona's Chuu

DETAILS

APPEARANCE & LOOKS: She has a birthmark in the rough shape of a three-pointed star on her back (in the middle, to the right). Also, she has a faint scar (it forms a straight line) slightly above her right eyebrow from when she bumped her head as a kid, learning to walk.

FASHION: Sunhee doesn't care much for fashion and prioritizes comfort. She thought the Manor would be cold and wore a long-sleeved shirt, a hoodie, jeans, and sneakers.

Personality

TRAITS: (they're like 'what's more positive or negative'
+ optimistic, loyal, dedicated
= stubborn, traditionalistic
- naive, indecisive, soft-hearted

PERSONALITY: Sunhee is a cheery kid, always has been. She tries to see the best in every situation and tries to work her hardest. However, it's not like defeat can't get to her; Sunhee doesn't have a personal limit, but if she keeps failing at something, she'll eventually get mad ('why can't I do this?') and rage-quit. But she tries not to! Sunhee is hard-working and dedicated to anything (and anyone) she likes, and she'll continue at it for as long as she can (before other people brush her off, or before failure consumes her ;;). It can get annoying, though, because it's borderline obsession, and whatever she's obsessed with will be the only thing on her mind, so much that it interferes with the other aspects of her life. (For instance, if she has a crush on someone, she'll try so hard to get them to like her back that her grades will fall.) It's not just crushes, though; if Sunhee likes you as a friend, she'll be your best friend. As long as you treat her well, she'll treat you even better and will stick up for you no matter what happens. Tbh Sunhee would even kill someone for you, as long as you've been treating her well enough.

As you can tell, Sunhee's a pretty pure kidtm, and true enough, she's pretty darn naive. It's not a bad thing, really, since she is still a kid and views the world in a happy way, but she has gotten scammed a lot... and she still hasn't learned! Honestly, Sunhee's just a bit oblivious, like she wouldn't notice if the world fell apart around her; she'd probably say something like 'oh wow, it's snowing in June!'. Anyway, she cares a lot for the people around her, animals, homeless people, stray cats and dogs... Sunhee's a huge softie. She insists on giving money to the homeless and donating towards causes that she believes in (it's part of how she always gets scammed). Now, I said before that Sunhee would kill a man for her friends, but tbh knowing her, she'd probably confess to the victim before she got anywhere close to murdering them XD. That is, if she even decides to do it. Sunhee is really, really indecisive. It's not much of a problem in normal life (mostly just 'what color shirt do I wear', 'what should I have for dinner today?'), but once it comes to important decisions, Sunhee can't do it by herself. How is she supposed to choose a major? What classes to take? Where to get a job? Get a job at all? (She hasn't gotten a job lol)

Almost in a childish way, Sunhee holds onto her goddarned beliefs and won't let go. It took like two years for her parents to convince her that the sun doesn't revolve around Earth! Imagine her shock when she learned that the Earth was round... Sunhee is probably the worst person to get into an argument with; not that she's a bad person or anything, but that she legit will not cede her argument and will find the most ridiculous evidence to support herself. Is this a bad thing? Not always, because honestly, it means that Sunhee will stick by your side (blindly) if you tell her that someone was mean to you. Without reason or anything, Sunhee is willing to put down her life for her beliefs and the people she believes in. She also holds pretty traditional beliefs, like men should be tall and strong and have a good job, and women should be good mothers and provide family support for their husbands, that kind of stuff. Is it bad? Eh, maybe? It just means that Sunhee herself isn't much an advocate for... well, herself XD. But is it entirely good? It makes her a lot more dependent on other people, namely men, but she doesn't go around blasting her opinions everywhere, and she doesn't try to force her opinions on anybody, so it's just sorta there in the middle.

History

BACKGROUND:
Sunhee was born in Seoul to her parents, who are of the middle class. She grew up like any other kid, but her parents tried to shelter her more. It's partly because she has an older brother, and they thought they were too harsh on him, so they really didn't want to scare Sunhee or anything (plus, cute girl, right?). Sunhee's grades were exceptionally good, except she didn't really do any extracurricular activities. She LOVED studying, and she knows a lot of random facts, so she prioritized academics. She was always the quirky kid in school, the cuteass nerd. She didn't have a lot of friends, but her happy personality attracted a lot of people. Alas, as she moved from elementary to middle to high school, she lost a lot of these friends. Her high school days were mostly spent with one girl called Jungeun, sitting together or doing projects with each other. Then, Sunhee got into Yonsei University on a scholarship.

She was star-struck the moment she saw her roommate, Seo Hana. Hana is a sophomore and the prettiest human being Sunhee has ever seen. She's nice to Sunhee, and Sunhee's pretty much in love already. Hana is very much obsessed with fashion (she has moneyyy), and Sunhee will often take her suggestions (except when they're too expensive, which is way too often). Sunhee also takes up singing as a hobby after Sunhee told her that she could imagine her as a singer. Sunhee's too oblivious to notice that Hana doesn't really care about her lol, but fortunately, Hana introduced another friend: Jo Haseul. Sunhee and Haseul hit it off right away, and Sunhee told Haseul about her crush on Hana. Haseul tried to get Hana to notice Sunhee, but Sunhee doesn't know how that went (it went badly, as in Hana was like 'stop ing around lol').

So that's the basics. Sunhee actually doesn't know when she got the invitation. She was just in the library trying to study (she's actually too busy daydreaming about Hana), and when she came back from the bathroom, the letter was on her desk. She thought it must have been a joke, but then since it mentioned something about Hana and Sunhee's crush on her... well, it promised that after this visit to the Manor, Hana would definitely return Sunhee's feelings! Sunhee thought it must have been Haseul; who else would know about this? Unknowingly, she brought the letter home (she can't let Hana see!). She thinks Hana might have seen the letter when she walked in, but Sunhee lied and told her it was an invitation to someone's birthday party. But she couldn't hide her excitement; after the weekend, Hana will notice her for once!

important people

FAMILY/FRIENDS:
- Lee Sunho (Andy): lmfao so this is Sunhee's older brother who isn't really important to the story, but basically their parents were really harsh on him, which caused him to end up with a variety of mental health issues (like depression and mild anxiety). He's about six years older than Sunhee, and he pretends he doesn't care about her, but in reality he really loves her and seeks to protect her at all costs. [Also notice my trash omg i'm such shcj trash lol]
- Seo Hana: Sunhee's roommate in college. Sunhee has had a crush on Hana since they met, but Hana doesn't seem to notice. In fact, Hana doesn't seem to notice much... but she's nice! And pretty!
- Jo Haseul: Hana introduced them, and honestly, Haseul's probably Sunhee's closest friend right now. They have mutual interests and their personalities are similar, and Haseul knows about Sunhee's crush. She's been trying to get them together (failing at it), which is why, whne Sunhee gets the letter, she thinks it's Haseul's plan.
- Kim Jungeun: She was Sunhee's best friend in high school. Jungeun didn't talk much, but Sunhee made up for her quietness. They lost contact when they went to college.

LOVE: Sunhee has a MAJOR crush on Hana, but Hana doesn't seem to notice anything. The ending is up to you, but marshybleep and I were thinking Hana could end up dying (to get her eternal youth), and Sunhee... well, that's up to you XD

The Wish

WISH: For Hana to return her feelings.

SUGGESTIONS:
- It'd be interesting if Sunhee lost her cheerful personality and grew up a bit (mentally). It'd be cool if she morphed into a resourceful, independent person, but the way I wrote it, I know she's a bit weak for that lol
- She's more of a positive, pure girlTM, so I would definitely like to see her go through some hardships (especially alone, when she has no one else to depend on), just for fun ;P

COMMENTS:
Basically what marshybleep said about Chuu's Heart Attack. Also, I wasn't sure if I wrote Sunhee too much as a Mary Sue-ish type? She's definitely a bit ditzy lol but nonetheless she is very intelligent.
