Clever and courageous: little Dawon might be a small baby, but she was never the type to be scared away by something small. This little girl is actually a ball of courage who is in charge of chasing away possible mice and killing possible bugs in the dorm. She almost seems fearless, but she has told herself to woman up (that's what she calls it) and face her fears. She's also very clever, can relativate very well and will always find a plan to face what she's confronted with, or avoid it in a very smart way. She was always one of the school's top students even without trying, because she's highly intelligent, and she's a very fast learner, always getting the dance and lyrics down the quickest.

Cheerful and playful: Dawon is a very happy girl, because she has lots of time to have fun. She loves playing around, laughing and joking. The dreamies often joke about when Dawon is sad, the world might be ending. She's just always seen smiling, even when something bad happened, she knows how to just put it down, get over it and continue playing. Some people don't understand how she can be so cheerful, maybe it's because she never had something terrible happening to her for her whole life? The advantage from this is that her cheerfulness is really contagious, so if someone's sad, they just bring Dawon into the room.

Emotional and noncompetitive: Even though Dawon can really have the mouth of a brat and act like a spoiled child, she absolutely hates competition. For example, if they battle for meat on a variety show, she would lose on purpose so her groupmate can have the meat instead. She's that kind of girl, who wants everyone to win, and if that's impossible, she'll want her friends to win instead of her. She's also the type to show her emotions easily, not fear, because she has so much courage, but when she gets sad or mad it will be obvious to anyone, and everyone will know about it.

Arrogant and lazy: Even though little Dawon is a good girl, she doesn't really have a good mouth. She can sometimes have her moments that she's too much, that she's a spoiled brat who brags about her abilities. Well, she's young, highly intelligent and a great dancer, she has the right to brag, but sometimes she brags too much. She also tends to stop practicing when she feels like it's completed, and because she learns so fast, she'll be lazing around a lot, frustrating the other members.

Irresponsible and careless: Dawon had a life that everyone would envy, but she often doesn't realise how good she's off. Dawon can seriously be that typical rich bratty girl, and she doesn't know what sorrow and struggles in life are. That's why she isn't matured yet, and doesn't really know how other people have to live their lives. She never learned to take responsibility for the trouble she might cause, and she's a very careless girl. She often gets herself into trouble in a whim, and she'll sneak her way out of it like a slithery snake.

 

Background Dawon was born in a family that had everything. An older brother and sister who cared for her, wealthy and good parents, big house with lots of toys. This little girl was probably one of the luckiest kids of the area. She was a cute, happy girl who was pretty popular. Throughout her growing up, Dawon really had all the luck on her side, even though she often broke a bone because of her endless playing around and doing risky stuff like climbing trees. She was one of the best students in class, even if she didn't do much effort, and when they examined her, little Dawon was found to be highly intelligent. Everyone was surprised, because highly intelligent people often misbehave, but not on purpose, but Dawon was always a good girl. Until she started growing up, she could become really bratty all of a sudden, and her highly intelligent behavior was showing. And not only that, she just had such an easy life with family and studies, that she just didn't know how real life was like. When the little girl was 10, back in 2013, she discovered Exo. After only a week, she told her parents that she wanted to start training at SM, and when they told her to practice first, little baby Dawon threw a tantrum, but understood later on, and started practicing.

 

After a month, Dawon's parents allowed her to go audition for SM entertainment. She was okay, but nothing special, but at least the little girl had the basics down quickly. She got accepted, and thought that it was purely because of skills, but what she didn't know is that her parents also played a role in it. This little girl got in because of her wealth and connections, but she didn't know that. Dawon wanted to improve even more, and when she was in the mood, she worked hard to improve. She was mainly training with the other younger trainees, some of the girls, but also some of the boys that would later debut in nct dream. When Dawon saw the kids that trained longer than her, she wanted to become better like them, and worked even harder. What Dawon exceeded at was dancing, and she was the pioneer of dance class soon enough, together with Jisung and Jeno. Her singing was very weak though, and no matter how hard she trained, she couldn't become more than just average. So the trainers asked her to try out rapping for the next evaluation, and the girl wasn't the best, but she slayed. And that's how she got her rapping position as well. She was introduced in July 2015 as smrookies girl together with Koeun, Hina and Herin. But Dawon didn't stay long. She really wanted to debut as soon as possible, but when NCT was announced, it was obvious that the girls won't be getting any chances any time soon. Her trainee contract ended, and while everyone at SM expected her to stick around longer, Dawon decided that she was leaving, she wanted to have more chances. Right after NCT dream's debut with chewing gum, Dawon packed her bags and left. It was a bummer for the dreamies, especially for jeno and jisung, who she got inseparable with, but at least she was going to have better debut chances when she found a better company.

 

She took a break for a month to stay with her family and just enjoy the free life, and then returned to looking for companies. She did some auditions, but often decided not to join in the end after judging the chances she would have when entering. Yes, Dawon was still the highly intelligent girl after all. There was one company that looked good for her, and it was Moon entertainment. She joined the company in the beginning of november and started training there. But because she didn't practice as hard because she learned everything at SM entertainment, the others didn't really get close to her. And it's probably also because Dawon was gushing about the sm kids all the time that the other trainees kinda got afraid. So at the moment, she didn't really find a close friend in Moon entertainment yet, and that might cause some troubles if she's chosen for Rose.

Trainee years 3 years in SM, 4 months in Moon entertainment

Trainee life Her trainee life in SM and Moon differs a lot. In SM she worked hard and made many friends, and she tried to improve everything she could. She was a popular girl and was expected to stay at SM entertainment longer, but she got impatient and decided to leave. It was like a doomsday at sm when that happened, a big bummer for many of the people, because she was the baby sunshine of the trainees. At Moon though, she was totally different. She had everything down already and thought that she had reached the limit of her skills, so she didn't work as hard anymore. When she had the dance down, she would keep dancing at SM because she could just have fun while dancing with her friends, but at Moon she has no friends, so she just stops training if possible. She also talks about her old friends of sm way too much, so the Moon trainees are taken aback by her.
