twila marina

NICKNAMES:

✩ twi - pretty much everybody calls her this. it's the most reasonable and logical.
✩ illa - pronounced, ill-luh. it's used by some of the crew as a casual greeting / nickname.
✩ rina - this nickname is taken from her middle name, "marina". it's used by her sister margurete, harietta, and elizabeth but welcomes the nickname to be used by anybody who wants to use it.
✩ fire vixen / phoenix - these nicknames are more used by the crew or captain because of her flaming red hair and personality. it's definitely easier than treating her with the respect she should have and laziness to utter her entire name. i mean, who knows, right? they've got their reasons.

LANGUAGE SPOKEN:

✩ merlic - this is the language her people use to communicate. it's only logical that she use it too, since she's been grown and raised hearing and communicating with it.
✩ valgian - considering most of the world speaks the language, it was a smart move for the merpeople to pick it up. twila speaks the language just like she would if she were a native. she understands it and can converse fluidly...although, she's not all that good at reading.

APPEARANCE:

✩  link
✩ Twila has naturally wavy, ginger colored hair that reaches her belly button. Her eyes are the color of sea foam green just like the rest of her sisters. In regards to body shape, she's slightly (if not mostly) pare shaped. Her waist is slim, she's got narrow shoulders and a decent sized chest (a full c-cup if i were to have any say in this). Her hips are a few inches wider than her upper body/shoulder length. Twila has full hips and thighs and a well rounded bottom. She has no piercings and no tattoos...but whose to say that she won't be having those experiences later down the line? She's open to it.
Twila is the type of person to accessorize more than she needs to. But if there's one thing she carries with her always, it's her headpiece. Priceless, and gifted to her by her father. She always, ALWAYS smells like salt water, go figure.

FASHION:

link
✩ twila's equivalent fashion is boho styled. when she officially steps foot on land, she doesn't quite know what she should wear. it's something she'd never thought of. because she runs into the witch first hand, the witch has a very high influence on twila's overall fashion. given that the first outfit was supplied by the witch, twila feels liberated to walk around in non-constricting clothes. things that flow in the wind, and look nice against her body type. there are three things that twila carries/wears. 1) her trusty ol' sword, taken from the cadralia armory. 2) her "lucky" gold, aquae gemed arm band. 3) the amulet that gives her the power to walk on land made of the same aquae gem as her arm band.

Character’s Daily Life: As a merperson, Twila was hardly placed in the spotlight, considering she had many-a-sister's. She was only ever there for presentation. So long as she stood in line and didn't cause any trouble for the royal family, it didn't matter what she had chosen to do. She didn't need to have a job around Cadralia, either, along with many of her sisters, so she sat around or visited with her sisters in between sessions with ettiquette teachers. At the end of the day, she would always find herself with her fish friend, a moon jellyfish named osiris. They would go to shore, or as close as they could to shore and see what they could see. Much of her daily life was nothing out of the ordinary for her.

“go down in flames, or don't go down at all.”

More then skin and bones...

PERSONALITY TRAITS: entj
✩ ambitious, outspoken, intimidating, strongwilled, strategic, charismatic, stubborn, intolerant, impatient, arrogant

PERSONALITY:
✩ ambitious - coming from such a large family, twila has always been very competative. not only because she's from a large family, but because she's from a royal family, she's been trained, and conditioned to push past expectations and she wants to be well off so she's always going to push herself to do her best, no matter the situation.

✩ outspoken - becuase she has the father she does, twila knows better than to let people bring her down or shun her opinions. she knows well enough to speak up for what she believes in, and defend those who cannot defend themselves.

✩ intimidating - twila has what you'd call, a "resting face. and because she has that, some people find her intimidating and hard to approach. given that she does have a very strong personality, she has your back when it comes down to it.

✩ strong willed - it does not matter what you have to say about what she wears, what she does, or what she says because you know what? she doesn't care. she's gonna do what she wants, when she wants it.

✩ strategic - being a princess has its perks. she's informed and trained on what it takes to guard and protect her home. it applies well on land when she needs to plan ahead for raids or fighting for her position on deck.

✩ charismatic - from the way she presents herself, to the way she says things and pulls through on her word. twila just knows how to be the person at the center. it's something she's never been able to pull off and coming to the land presented her with a chance to do this. to be charismatic and something more than the fifth daughter of king valtros.

✩ stubborn - stubborn in arguement, stubborn in combat, stubborn in all of lives advances. twila  could have a foot in the grave and still be doing things she shouldn't be doing. what can you do?

✩ intolerant - she's the type of person who makes the rules because obviously, she isn't going to follow rules given to her by anybody. she usually has a goal to reach, and if anything, if any rule blocks her way, she isn't going to react nicely about it.

✩ impatient - because she's impationt, its not rare for her to make bad decisions or entirely mess something up. it's one of her biggest flaws. taking it slow is a no go.

✩ arrogant - she respects people who can make quick and appropriate decisions in quick time, and looks down on people who do not meet the standard. she thinks she's bigger than she really is, which is close to nothing when she's on land.

BACKGROUND:

Born to the King and Queen of Cadralia, as the fifth child out of seven, Twila Marina Valtros was instantly loved by the kingdom. Because she was a new addition to the royal family, everybody wanted the chance to see her up close and personal; of course, only a few special mer-people  got to. Those who had seen her, always said she was a complete copy of her mother. The two replicated one another from head to toe, give or take those small individualistic qualities.

As a infant and toddler, Twila had been into the spotlight of the kingdom. At one point of another the newest princess was talked about on the daily. However, when the queen fell pregnant again, with the sixth royal princess, all eyes were withdrawn. Twila was taken from the light, and aside to make room for the next addition. For two years, she had gotten acustomed to being the center of attention, that the second she wasn't, she couldn't quite comprehend it, with being a child and all. Twila had become an issue to her governesses. She did not settle for the simple things, and she was very fussy, always calling for her parents that would never show. Twila was practically raised by her governesses and older sisters.

Through her personal teachers, and sisters, she learned about the hardships, and pressure of being a member of the royal family. There weren't many hours of the day when she had time to do what she wanted, but when they were allowed to her, she didn't want to spend her time locked away in her bedroom. From a young age, Twila was always taken to knowledge. She couldn't stop in the unknown. When she'd first left the palace, she was seven. She was also very scared. Twila had been given an hour to do whatever she wanted, and to her luck, unnatended. It didn't take her long to think about going out of the palace to meet some childeren her age. She hadn't even thought about the risks, or issues it would cost to her family, or even herself.

When people saw her out on the streets, they whispered, and they wondered why the seven year old princess was out on her own. Never in his reign had the king allowed his daughters out on their own until they'd been of age to take care of themselves, so this had been a complete shock to the mer-people. Before Twila could make it past the palace gates, Twila had been stopped and sent directly to her father, who had scolded her.

"What on earth were you thinking stepping outside the palace?!"
"I..." Twila fiddles with the tips of her fingers sheepishly. She had
never been put in front of her father like this, nor had he ever been
this cross with her.
"Daddy...I..."
"Are you aware of the dangers thay wait for you beyond those gates?
Our people know who you are, Twila. Our enemies know your face.
Do you any idea what would happen if somebody were to take you for
their own good? To use you against the kingdom? You musn't go out on your
own! Never again. Do you hear me?"

Twila looses the little confidence she'd had. "I...But...Yes...Daddy." She
lowers her glance down to her tail.

"Because you have disobeyed the one rule i've set for you Twila, the
punishment..."
The king sighs. He always hated this part of being a
parent.
"Twila, you are no longer allowed to meet with your sisters.
Not until I say so. You are to remain with your governess at all times."

"What?! But daddy! I'm Sorry! Don't you belive me! I won't do it again!
I promise!"
Twila's voice falters. "I promise..." And the tears are running
hot, down her face.
"Daddy please! Don't do this."
"You leave me no choice Twila." The king looks to Twila's governess, who's standing by the
door, and nods his head.
"You may take her now." The queen takes the kings
hand in hers, but his eyes are focused on his daughter, wailing. Kicking and
screaming, she's removed from the throne room. He can hear her cries down
the corridor, and he gives the queen's hand a squeeze, as tears roll down
his face.

The king loved his daughters very deeply. But that was the day that Twila had seen her father in a new light. She did not like it at all. Her father had taken away her only source of hapiness. Sure, she adored her governess, but her sisters...they were her lifeline. They'd showed her things her governess hadn't. They'd taken her outside of the palace, they'd given her the freedom she'd wished she had in the palace. With them, she was her turest self. It was almost inhumane to her, that he would take those things from her. This was Twila's turning point. She wanted to get out of the palace, and she was going to do it, even if it was the last thing she wound up doing.

Luckily, Twila didn't step foot outside of the palace for the next few years. Over the time she had to spend away from her sisters, she came to the conclusion that she must remain on her fathers side. She needed to think things through, and play things out carefully. The next time she saw her father, she demanded that he allow his best swordsman teach her to fence, or teach her how to be a proper swordsmen. Twila found that she wasn't all that good at it, but she was good enough to hold herself off in a deul, need she have to. She picked up archery right after that. She was significantly way better at that. Between her new responsibilities, and transitioning into a young teenager, she made it a point to get closer to her father, to make sure he trusted her, to make sure he saw her as the one who did no bad.

After several years of hardwork, Twila was finally able to step out of the palace, and alone at that. She'd be rid of her governess too if things had gone smoothly once she returned. For her first run, she took a stroll down the city, and greeted her fellow mer-people. She'd bought some things for her sisters and came straight back to the palace where she'd meet with her father, to give a report on her outing. When he knew that she was genuinely safe on her own, he gave her his word, and removed her governess to care for her. Even though it made Twila sad, she knew she'd still see her governess around, and that she'd outgrow her governess sooner or later. Once Twila was sure she was alone, she made her first ever venture out to the sea's. Much like the first time she wanted to go, she was scared. She didn't know what was beyond her city of gold, and she didn't know if she'd even come back, but one thing was for sure, she'd never know if she didn't at least try.

Twila returned unharmed, and...with a new friend, a moon jellyfish named osiris. Osiris wasn't much older than her, and like her, he had an advenutre streak. However, Osiris had the freedom to travel the ocean that Twila knew she'd never have. She'd heard the talk too many times from her father. Still, she'd done it. She'd made it above water just this evening...and it was the best thing ever. To feel the air on her skin. To hear the seagulls, and the sound of water. She'd been trapped under the water for so long, that she'd been blind to the beauty of the world above.

"What do you say Osiris? Will you be my travel partner?"
"How could I ever say no to you, M'lady?"

So Twila freed up her time. She made more travels to the shores in the area, and she watched humans. They were so fascinating to her. She'd go up each day, at least for half an hour. That was all she needed to feel satisfied. But...that was a thick lie. The more she looked upon them, the more she wanted to set her flipers on the sand. The more she wanted to breath the air around them, the more she wanted to know about humans and the land they walked on.

There was only ever one time she stopped going up there. It was Hevensday, in early Enneamri. The night her mother passed on after blessing the royal family with their last sister, frannie. Twila was heartbroken. She'd been the closest one to their mother. She was the spitting image of her even now as she'd become a teen. The passing took her by storm. She'd gone through a period of mourning and heavy sorry. It took her a long time to get herself out of her funk. A year had passed before she even realized. Her love for the land above was still very much there, and ultimately that's how she shook herself from her slump.

The time's afterwards, she started to get very wreckless, very...sloppy in concealing her whereabouts. She knew her father would find out soon enough. So when he finally called it to her attention, she wasn't even surprised.

"Do you really think this is my first time father? I've crossed the
sea's more times than you have, i'm sure of it. But if you're angry,
you have every right to be. But I have my rights too. I yearn to learn
more. I crave to feel the sun's rays on my skin, the wind blowing through
my hair. I deserve the chance to adventure."

"We've had this conversation already Twila. It is not safe out there! You
could get hurt, or even worse, killed. Do you want that for yourself?
Do you possibly think we could mourn for you after..."
The king stops
himself short of his next words.
"You cannot go out there Twila. I simply
will not allow it."

"News flash, father. I haven't died. And I know how to defend myself. You
may be the king, but you can't stop me. Not from this."

From that point onward, whatever relationship Twila had built with her father, was declining, fast. They'd argue all the time, over her trips to the surface. But Twila wasn't going to back down. She was going to continue doing what she loved.

She fell lucky several more years later, when she found a necklace that granted her the power to walk on land. (read the relationship section with the witch).

✩ disrespecting the people she cares about.

RELATIONSHIPS:

✩ father - Artemus Khree Valtros (50) / fc: michael fassbender / The King of Merpeople / Selfless, Level-Headed, Determined, Organized, Authorative, Open-Minded / (3/5)
King Valtros is a very powerful, busy and stoic looking man. He hardly gets the time to spend with his children because most of his time has to go to ruling and making sure that everything goes smoothly in his kingdom. However, he does love his children very much. He may not see them often, but he knows about all of his children's whereabouts. King Valtros is extremely hard on Twila. Twila doesn't know it but he's only so hard on her because he can't afford for her to get hurt in any way. Not after the passing of their mother, Rebecah Anne

✩ mother - Rebecah Anne Greeves (46) / fc: rebecca mader/ The Late Queen of Merpeople / Strict, Kind, Giving, Graceful, Witty, Sneaky / (5/5) /
Deceased. [[ okay i only used her because she's beaut. LESS just pretend that twila looks like her more than she doesn't-- #slapped]]

✩ Sister - Breyette Vivianna Valtros (28) / fc: holland roden / domestic arangements / stoic, outspoken, punctual, hardworking, responsible, well-rounded / (2/5)
because breyette has domestic arrangements to attend to, she's always busy. she's always been the type who's been "all in" with the crown. she is, next in line after all. twila gets little to no time with breyette. when they do talk, she's taking their fathers side at telling her she needs to stay out of the "land dwellers" business.

✩ Sister - Margurete "Margo" Valtros (26) / fc: eleanor tomlinsin / not applicable / sweet. kind, caring, overprotective, warm, outspoken, just / (5/5)
because margurete doesn't have another job to tend to, twila spends a lot of time with her older sister whether it be doing their "princess duties", or coming up with nonesense to occupy their time. if twila has any secrets, margurete will figure them out. twila can't keep anything from margurete. margurete is twila's mother figure.

✩ Sister - Harrietta "Sixx" Valtros(24) / fc: skyler samuels / not applicable / articulate, perfectionist, shy, quiet, observant / (4/5)
twila spends a lot of her time with sixx since like margurete, she doesn't have any prior engagements. although she's not as close with sixx as she is with margurete, there's hardly a difference in relationships.

✩ Sister - Shelly Anne Valtros (22) / fc: katherine mcnamara / Grandmaster (head of the merpeople military) / personality traits / (2/5)
when it comes to shelly anne, twila sees her as indifferent. shelly anne is never where she needs to be and wants to shrug off her duties as a princess. she is more than willing to get her hands dirty, and has earned her keep as grandmaster. Twila does not get to see her sister often and has a very poor relationship with her.

✩ Sister - Elizabeth Jannine "Janie" Valtros (18) / fc: elle fanning / Minstrel (poet and musician) / playful, loquacious, outgoing, active, adaptive, clumsy / (5/5)
being one of the youngest, janie has to keep her eyes to her older sisters. twila is absolutely head over heels in love with janie.

✩ Sister - Frannie Valtros (16) / fc: francesca capaldi / not applicable / distant, dramatic, gallant, debonair, naive/ignorant / (3/5)
unfortunately, twila has little to no interactions with her little sister. Even less now that she's not even in the sea. They respect each other that's for sure, though.

✩ the witch - Rosette Marienette Dupoint (38) / fc: jenna dewan tatum / Witch / Sly, Calculating, Observant, Strategist, Eloquent / (4/5)
Finding the necklace was no accident. Rosette watched Twila for a long time. Years even. She planted the necklace there for her, so that she'd get stuck with her. Rosette once had been infatuated with the king when they were younger. She was spoken to him at one point, but their gods had cursed her with a terminal disease. The king was forced to choose the next suitor, the late queen. There was one thing her mother could do for her at that point, and that was to get her help, no matter where it came from. She let anybody know that if they helped Rosette, and she made a recovery, that they'd be heavily rewarded. When it came down to it, it was a life for a life. Rosette begged, and pleaded with her mother, but in the end, Rosette's mother had already made her decision. On that evening, her mother sacrificed herself to a powerful witch, who healed Rosette.
If there was one fortunate thing that occured, it was that Rosette received powers as an after effect of the spell used to heal her. When she returned to court, it had been too late. The king was married, and she was green with envy. It became her goal to watch the royal family, and to lie in wait, for the chance to strike the king where it hurt. Luckily, Twila came along, and sweet revenge was hers.

In regards to Twila, she makes it seem like she's a gentle soul, and later on she actually becomes that gentle soul (whenever twila needs her). Somebody who has the answers to help her. They have a decent relationship, and I think they might even get close, since they'll interact with each other whenever Twila needs something. I think, Rosette is going to come to love Twila over the course of her "new human life".  And even if the king finds out it was her who did this to his daughter, she's going to face the storm because she loves twila, like her own. She will admit to her wrongs though, and plead with the King to spare her for her insolence.

Young Mermaid

Governor's Daughter

WHat do you think of pirates? I’m sure you’ve heard a tale or tWo:

✩ "Heard a tale or two? The pirates travel to and from their land...they travel over mine, and the Merpeople don't stop talking about them. Pirates are the epitome of the stories the merpeople tell their children to keep them away from the shore. I've had my fair share of those. But as far as my opinion...they're as free as a bird. free to go and come as they'd like. They're the sort of free spirit I wish I was."

What is your purpose for meeting ouR captain? He is a busy man:

✩ "Here's the thing, I don't want to meet the captain at all, yet you jerks are the ones taking me to him anyway. Sure, I bumped into you but that doesn't mean i'm meat. You don't get to drag me around like i don't matter. Just let me go or die."

It’s a known supErstition that women are bad luck on ships, so what makes you worthy to tag along?:

✩ "Women are bad luck on ships? I am completely baffled by your ignorance. You may think you know the seas, but believe me...I know these seas better than anybody else. I've traveled these seas since I was a young girl. All I want to do is see the world above it, and fortunate for me you've got the transportation that can get me places. I'll make you a deal. Bring me along, and all those "treasures" you've been searching for under the sea...they're all yours."

what Lengths are you willing to go on This journey?:

✩ "I've already abandoned my tail, my sisters, and the king of the damn ocean. What more can I give? I'm leaving behind my entire life as a princess with no guarentee that I'll even survive past today. So, what can I do for you?"

The gunner

thomas brodie-sangster

BACKUP: park chanyeol

NICKNAMES:

✩ thom - pretty much everybody calls him this, since it's shorter and much more faster than plain old, thomas.
✩ blondie - twila calls him this from the first moment she meets him. even though she learns that his name is thomas later on, blondie sort of just stuck.

✩ ginge - because twila stuck with calling him blondie, he calls her ginge.
✩ twi-twi OR ila - for more obvious reasons, he calls her "twi-twi" or "ila", but he's pretty much the only person allowed to call her this.
✩ princess - under no circumstance is he allowed to call her this in public. she thinks of it as something that makes her lesser. she's very fond of it when they're alone though.

PERSONALITY:

✩ If there is ever one thing that is most noted about Thom, it's that he's incredibly genious for his age. But, then again, he's come from a place whose success revolves around intelligence so it's only natural that he hardly thinks of himself as such. He's a very good team player and shows his feelings for the people around him very easily. However, because such a thing exists he tries his best to restrain himself because things like that can easily and quickly be turned against him in his line of work. Because Thom wears his heart out on his sleeve, it somehow makes him the stronger person because he's not going to back down from things he takes great passion in. Thom is giving, and somewhat selfless. His acts are almost always genuine, and he won't do or say something he doesn't mean. When push comes to shove, he's the type of person who has leadership in his blood. He makes his decisions rationally, and with logic because it would be a big shame if the plan went to sh*t because he didn't think it through. However, if there's already a leader figure he trusts, he's more than likely going to be compliant to follow their lead because he can easily fall in as the right hand. He's definitely not one to shy away from a fight, but will compromise if he knows he's lost.

Thom is a little slow when it comes to romance, and anger. Scratch that, he's oblivious to both. He wouldn't know that somebody else loved him even if they said it to his face. He just doesn't get the concept of somebody liking him when he's "just a heap of nothing." His life just doesn't seem fit for a mate when all he does is challenge everybody he meets. It's why he always looks so beat up. He's almost like a stubborn old man, who will take a secret to his grave. That's just the type of person Thom is. If there's information that a third party wants, there's no way he'll let it go. You'd have to take him to lucifer himself before he has a say so about what needs to be said. And because he's such a risk-taker, it makes love seem even less distant. He could die at any point in time because he's just simply ridiculous.

BACKGROUND:

✩ Thomas, or as Twi would like to call him, Blondie, was born to his father, a crew member of an elite ship, and his mother Brenda Brodie, a normal woman from Miyuseille. His father hadn't ever been in his story. It had just been him and his mother. From a young age, Thomas took it upon himself to be the man of the household. He loved his mother dearly, and he never thought to ask about his father, because it just never really dawned on him. He took a job wherever it was handed to him, and even though he wasn't allowed to handle things directly because of his age, he learned a lot as an armourer's helper. Thomas had always been a hard worker when it came to jobs. He took quite the interest in bullet making and gun designing.
Although he was in his teens, he took a chance and made a flawless design that he showed to the head armourer. Thomas had been trying hard to advance his position, but this, by far was the way to go. When the Aurmourer saw the designs, he had to admit they were good, but he had his doubts about Thomas' age. Still, at the end of the day, Thomas got what he wanted.
By going donw this path, he showed off what made him much more alike to his father. When the Aurmourer sent him to the Heart of Miyuseille where he was to assess ideas for a new gun and bullet designs for the military ships. However, the governor insisted that he just take a position on the ship. He insisted. How was Thomas just supposed to say no? The governor gave him a day to think about it, in which he reported to his boss, and his mother.
Brenda did not want Thomas to go. She had an irrational fear that if she went, he woudnt come back to her. But this was thomas' life, and if he needed to go, then the choice was his. Becasue he was leaving, she felt the need to come clean, about his father, John Sangster. With the knowledge his mother bestowed upon him, Thomas left his mother feeling very content. It was her parting gift to him.
Thomas returned to the governor the next day prepared to board the military ship. When the military ship took off, Thomas had been oblivious to the duties he'd have to take on until he actually was forced to do them. It was good, in a way that he was able to do his best for a job, but he still had a lot to learn, and the authority on the ship was not pleasant in the slightest. He spent several years on the ship, always trying to mfind the good in the reasons he should stay, but when it became too much to handle, he had to jump ship. Thomas didn't regret the time he'd spent on the ship because he learned so much about himself and not to mention all the new skills he had because of it. But he regretted the years he spent away from his mother. So, he wrote to her, told her all about his time. And he sent it off, but he had no thought to go back home to her. His adventure was only beginning.
Thomas made his way to the Pirhana Isles via work and labor. He'd take rides with people who'd have him. But he always felt he was destined for more. He wanted to do more. However, at more of a loss than he'd ever been, he settled for a night to let loose. Thomas wound up in a bar, where he was less fortunate to have gotten into an arguement with a captain of some ship. Words were exchanged and before anybody knew it, a whole rumble had begun, and ended with the captains side winning. The captain of the ship, demanded Thomas as prisoner for laying a hand on him, but the next morning when Thomas came too, the captain had him questioned. He learned of Thomas' skills and background.
"The son of John Sangster you say?" The captain looked him up and down. "Well, you look like him. We'll have you aboard. Release him."
Thomas was sure, that he was going to die. He had to ask the captain to repeat himself, before he truly accepted the fact that he was bound to the ship, the Nightingale.

LOVESTORY:

✩ Thom meets Twila when she's brought onto the ship to speak with the captain. The men are dead set on throwing her overboard, but Thom, being the man he is (along with a few other good beans), wanted to give her the chance he knew she needed.

"What are your assets?" She had remembered him asking her, as the other men stepped aside to get their captain.
"What? Why?"
"Would you just trust me, and answer my question?" His accent was thick when he'd asked her again. "What are your assets?"
"I...I know the land under the sea better than anybody here, because I live there."

And although her declaration had stunned him, he wasn't shaken from his original plan.  When she was allowed to see the captain, he spoke up on behalf of her. He'd said that, she would be a good addition to artillery, and that she had an intimate connection with the sea, a way that nobody else had. He didn't reveal that it was her home, because he didn't really know if she wanted them to know. So, he kept it promising and breif.

When she was allowed to stay on board, she was assigned to be by his side. He showed her all the ropes, and as much as she wanted to thank him for sticking his neck out for her, she couldn't find the time or place. Though, they did end up spending an aweful lot of time together in the weeks that followed.

INTERACTIONS:

✩ I mean, by this time in the present there's no doubt, that even though Thom has the hardest time with empathy and affections, he's grown a pretty close knit relationship with Twila. He takes the time to work with her, even when others don't find it of any use to do so, and he finds it kind of attractive that she's willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done no matter what the cost is. Also, since he met her at one of the roughest times of her life, he's always found it easier to be around her for comfort. There isn't much of a boundary between the two of them. Whereas some people will see a colder and darker side to Twila, Thom sees the optimistic, caring, and shy parts of her. There's pretty much nothing that these two can hide from each other because they already know each others quirks and  body language. They've worked together enough and even know what moves need to be done at the exact time the other initiates another move. You can't really find a more likely pair. One would say the pair is pretty #aesthetic or #intimate take your pick. mine is #teamThomla

RETURN TO the STORY

golden-blood ✩ sun

LAST COMMENT: i am honeslty so happy that you've made a complete story like this! i don't see enough of them and frankly, idol-esque stories are getting old to me. i crave for the au. i'm impressed with your story idea! and i really hope more people apply to make this story happen. i'm going to tell my friends to apply too! xD

SCENE REQUEST:

✩ I feel like Twila is...a little rough around the edges personality-wise, but that's how she's meant to be. So as a request, it'd be cool if Twila had to face some hardships to make her realize how to manage around the crew. & i'll leave her "fixed" personality via character developement up to you!

✩ a scene where twila gets intoxicated via rum or any type of alcohol. i'd want to see a side to her that people wouldn't normally see, a.k.a her fun, talkative, loose side.

✩ some fluff between her and thomas
