Good news!

Recently, last January 25, 2018, I submitted the Teaser, Chapter 1 and Ending of TGH (Book 1) to a traditional publishing house: Le Sorelle here in the Philippines. That is for the 1st evaluation. Luckily, I passed it! Then I was asked to send the whole manuscript for the 2nd evaluation. That was February 04, 2018. Then I submitted it on February 08, 2018. After waiting again, I was emailed last night about the feedback of their editor. 🙏🏻

Thank God, I passed as well! Good feedback. I just have minor revisions (well, all authors go through that stage so don't be afraid to have minor errors if you're really not sure about it; all writers have editors to help you polish it). I am so happy that my hard work has finally been paid off! If I had too many errors in my story and got lazy editing it, I might not have made it, but I did. 😍 I will be contacted again once my story is ready for publication. I'll keep you guys posted, especially if readers out of the country can make orders. ❤️

P.S. I know TGH is a bit cliché and I wasn't really sure if my concept would pass because:

1.) This was created last 2011. It was my first attempt to write a novel and believe me, after I leveled up my writing skills through the years, I saw too many errors. I cringed all the way when I was reading it. So now, I'm not satisfied with my current revision (again; on Wattpad) since my writing style have changed a lot, but I'll leave this one as it is so that I can have a saved memory about my first attempt. 😂

2.) Some serious readers might think that romance isn't necessary in a detective story, but believe me, our country loves a little romance (I think almost in every genre that we all squeal when the characters have their moments, light or heavy xD) so I guess that's why I wasn't afraid of inserting some romance. I've seen other horror games having little romance and I think I cried. That was... The Evil Within 2? I just cannot. 😭 *plans to write a horror genre soon; even if I'm afraid of my own monstrous imaginations* 😂

3.) The plot is weird, but that's because it's a dream. YOLO. 😂

4.) Like I've said, a bit cliché, but then again, our country loves cliché stories as long as it has twists, hooking, and interesting for them. So... I just went with the current plot whether people liked it or not. You can't satisfy every reader, you know. 😂❤️
