So I have this classmate whom I got close with recently (more like after two class meetings, which is nearly ending, sadly). She's my classmate on a previous year and also last semester, and I usually notice her because she's so noisy. Not in the annoying manner, she's just normally chatty, (and loud) a typical girl in a university I guess. I wanted to approach her before but I lack the initiative to do so, plus I don't really know her that well, /heck I don't even know her name then. Not until this month of the year, can you imagine that?/ since she's a year level higher than me, and we just shared a few minor classes together.

We sometimes cross each other's paths while going to and from another class, without uttering a single word. Not even a "hey" or whatnot. /Well duh? You're not close with her, what do you expect? A chance of a miracle that she'll suddenly approach you with a big smile on her face and talk with you as if you've known each other for years? Not a chance, boy, not a chance, I tell you!/ And so I just contented myself by glancing at her direction each time we're on the same class.

I find her a funny person when she suddenly quipped on something while I was passing by at the back of the room where she and her friends were seated. (I forgot the exact words, but it sounded funny. At least to me.) And then I Ieft for the next class. I saw her again the day after that when my friend and I were passing by at the corridor of the building to go out of the university, since our class for the day is done and he needs to buy something at the store nearby. She said some words to my friend regarding another subject (apparently they know each other from a previous class, still I dare not ask him what her name was.) and we went on our way.

Long story short, eventually I became close to her because of a class activity which required groupwork. I sat at the back, and they are lacking one person to complete their group, so Emma (not her real name. We're sorta close because we're once in a group together, and we became seatmates) asked me if I would want to be a part of their group for the said activity. I said yes, but I'm still reluctant because I don't really know the other members (except for Emma and her, which by the way, I still don't know her name then. I know, I'm stupid).

But we did end up finishing our task, and when it was time to hand our paperwork to our professor, she asked for my name (don't get any ideas, she asked for it because she was the one writing, I only gave them my input. I have bad penmanship, sorry) and then after that we were dismissed. The next meeting, I've seen her rewriting our paper and I thought she would still ask for my name (I assume she might forgot) so I proceeded with handing her my ID but then I retracted my hand because she was just asking if we have a second name. Apparently, she still got the copy of our previous work with our names written on it, in which she transferred on the new paper.

to be continued... it's too lengthy.
