Caring and outgoing: Dalin is seen in the group like some sort of motherly figure, a sweet girl who loves her members. When seeing her, people often think Dalin is a thug, but she is just a mommy who tries to protect her members and her squad, even if they are older than her. She's just the type that listens to you, lets you cry on her shoulder and then whispers comforting words to you. She's always the first one to come running when one of her friends is sad. She is also the type of person that makes new friends seem like it's the easiest thing in the world, she can simply get along with so many different people, it's surprising.

"I haven't had the chance to sport in too long, I'm going to combust!" "Dalin, we went for a jog yesterday."

Active and energetic: Dalin always loved sports, especially the ones related to winter and dancing. So what else could she do than figure skating? It was the ideal career for her. Dalin is always a jumping ball of energy, and she will always need her sports or she'll feel like combusting because she simply has too much energy. Well, that's what she says, at least.

"Hey, hey, hey, do you know what happened to the Italian chef?"

Silly: Dalin is a little silly girl as well, she loves to make people laugh with jokes and she can literally make jokes about so many things to make people feel better. She doesn't touch sensitive subjects though, luckily. People often name her sense of humor as one of her charming points. She's a little dork, who loves to have fun and mess around with the other members of team frost. (they call themselves the jalapeno hotties though)

Boyish but maternal: Dalin is, as you can definitely see, an androgynous girl who likes to act like a boy. She always sits with a man spread, poses like a man, talks like a man and just dresses like a man as well. She's very boyish in that way, breaking gender standards. But at the same time, she's still mama Linlin. She's a boyish, naggy mother. She's confusing.

Dependent and demanding: She's not only taking care of others, she needs the company of others as well. Dalin is really dependent on having friends around. When she's alone, error, Dalin won't function properly. That's partly why she made the squad with Jingbao, because celebrities can be very lonely, and it's also why she decided to join a girl group when she had to make a career switch.

"She took my money, so I hid a frog between her clothes."

Greedy and petty: She doesn't only get really demanding for attention and love, but Dalin can get too greedy for it as well. She can be so annoyingly greedy, making grabby hands and begging for attention while she clearly doesn't need it. It's crazy. And when she doesn't get it, she'll get pissed. When Dalin's pissed, she becomes a petty diva, which is unexpected from someone like her. She also can't handle criticism at all and she'll become extra petty. Do not ever forget to give her lended money back, or she'll come for you.

Hot-headed: Dalin is quite the angry one. She's sweet, silly and caring, but she gets mad at literally nothing. Making other facepalm because she's mad over something useless is completely normal to Dalin. She does luckily realise after a while that she's being stupid and calms down and goes 'I don't give a single ', which is luckily a good thing.

background Little girl Dalin was born in 1995 as the only child of a wealthy family. The little girl was happy and energetic, but behind that bright smile hid something else. Loneliness. From the start, the girl never wanted to be alone, so she was always looking for attention from friends. She always complained that she wanted to have her hair short like the boys of her class did, so she got her wish and that's where her androgynous look started. But it was a bad decision, other girls she befriended stayed away from her, because she didn't want to be a girl, so she wasn't fun. Kids... right?

Luckily, when this little girl was 3, a new family moved next door. They had a single child as well, one who is a year older than her. His name? Wu Jingbao. Wu Jingbao was a lot like Dalin, a happy boy who loved to do the things he wanted to do and wasn't really afraid of breaking apart from the standards. They were the cutest little besties, little toddlers running around together. They tried out lots of hobbies together. While Jingbao dragged Dalin along to things like musicals and the drama club, Dalin dragged Jingbao along to lots of stuff that has to do with two things: either ice, or either music. One day, when they were skating on the ice rink, the two saw a little girl training to be a figure skater. Both were in awe, and Dalin simply knew that that was what she wanted to do later on. Music, and ice. Could it get any better?

After a few years in the club, the trainers noticed that the boyish Dalin had great potential, she had a great sense for the music and a certain grace that many of the girliest girls didn't even have. They wanted to send her off to a better club. In the capital of China. Dalin first refused to go, but when she heard that Jingbao was moving to Beijing too, she said yes. Jingbao wanted to become an actor later on, so his parents wanted him to get into child acting and have a taste of it already. So their parents arranged it that way that they could be neighbours again. The children were 8 and 9 years old.

In the club in Beijing, many of the skating sports were crowded together in a building, with multiple rinks. So Dalin not only got in touch with other future figure skaters, but also with ice hockey players, long distance speed skaters and shorttrack skaters. The last sport is where she met Wang Chuming, a cute little boy with puppy eyes and monkey ears, 7 years old. They became such good friends, and Chuming befriended Jingbao as well. There was another girl who Jingbao and Dalin befriended, while not knowing that the other had her as friend as well, Xu Xiaoli. They were a little squad of friends, one thing they had in common was that they all loved ice. So what they did the most was going to the rink of Chuming and Dalin's club, skating together and playing tag on ice.

Dalin and Chuming were skating prodigies and had very promising futures. Winning local competitions as young children and climbing higher up one by one. And eventually, the moment came that they all soared. Jingbao became a well-known actor, Xiaoli joined SNH48 and of course had to move away to Shanghai and later became known enough to be with the undergirls and 7senses unit, and Chuming and Dalin? They went to Sochi. Seriously, they were at the Olympic winter games, together. The Jalapeno hotties were represented at the winter games. They couldn't believe it. The two kids of 18 and 17 years old were there, together, putting their squad out there on the winter olympics. They were always together there in Russia, even though they were supposed to hang out with their own teams. That's also when their hearts started to flutter for each other.

Chuming got to the semi-finals, but he didn't get a medal in the end. But Dalin was able to snatch the silver medal. It was amazing, the squad was euphoric. And the commentators predicted that Dalin would get even better, even though she was one of the older participants already. In Pyeongchang, she would win gold, that's what they thought. Chuming as well, was predicted to get a medal next time.

But for Dalin, that next time never came. While she was preparing for the winter olympics in Pyeongchang, in September 2017, she made a terrible fall, the most terrible up till now. She even got unconcious, had a huge, dangerous cut on her head from the ice and broke her arm. She also got that scar on her thigh from it, which she decided to cover up recently. She could basically still go to Pyeongchang, but her parents got so afraid that they didn't allow her to continue skating. She did well, it was time to move on and do something else. Dalin was devastated, but she didn't want to rest and sulk in a corner. Dalin had to find something else. She couldn't do something with ice anymore, but the music part was still good to go. That's when Dalin decided to become idol instead, in a girl group, preferable, so she couldn't be lonely. Xiaoli asked her to join her in SNH48, but Dalin didn't think she would fit in there, so she decided to go to Korea instead. After many auditions where they rejected her by lack of experience and just because she's an Olympic. But Polaris did end up accepting her. Pyeongchang didn't even start yet, and she had already found something else to do. Dalin was always into music, so she did really have the basics down of rapping and singing, but because of her figure skating background, Dalin had a really good feel for dancing, and that was the reason why she got accepted. A new chapter started in her book of life, only a few months ago.

Fun fact: they all love snapbacks, oversized shirts, ice and music. Her squad is supposed to be cool but they mainly do stuff like this. They all kinda have their own color and Dalin's is blue.

the biggest mouth of the squad, protects the boys so well together with Dalin, don't mess with her, a ball of sass, but is still a sweetheart, is also the peacemaker of the squad, spends her time with the squad watching over the babies Rui and Chuming.

trainee years From december 2017 until now (depends on their debut date)

trainee life Dalin kinda got thrown into it. She just got recovered from her broken arm, was still used to the life of an athlete, and suddenly she was here, training to be an idol instead. People were very surprised to see an olympic medalist at their company, but it only worked in Dalin's favor, cause people helped her out more. One girl that has helped her a lot was Hyosun. The thing is, Dalin approached her first to spazz about how pretty she was, and everyone thought that Dalin was a lesbian. smh she was just giving out a compliment like straight girls also do. She missed the spotlight, so she wanted to debut as quickly as possible, so she worked her off. Since she's also a fast learner, Dalin pretty much had no problems adapting to it, even if it was hard in the beginning.

 

personality Wang Chuming is the type of boy that makes you want to take care of him. Adorable, cheerful, friendly, almost like a puppy, but with monkey ears. This boy is either laughing or looking like he had just seen some . He's also a silly boy who shares the exact same sense of humor with Dalin, which made them get along quickly as young children. Chuming is also often lost in thoughts, or just lost in general. The boy's very airheaded and clumsy, and Dalin and Xiaoli constantly have to look out for him. Whenever he's with Dalin, he'll trail after her like an adorable lost puppy. Chuming is kinda like a young child, especially when he's mad, because he's very stubborn and immature, but also a cowardly crybaby Just don't make him mad and you'll be fine, but once you made him mad, he'll be a pain in the . But guess who's the best at calming that little baby sprout down? Yes, Dalin. By just a simple cuddle and some loving pat-pats on his fluffy, burgundy hair Chuming will be fully fine.

love story The beginning is explained in the background. They met at the ice rink, when being 8 and 7 years old. They became great friends through their mutual sense of humor, love for ice and music. Chuming almost immediately joined the jalapeno hotties, which was at that time still unnamed cause they were just a bunch of little kids. Dalin and Chuming were besties (poor Jingbao got replaced), it was simply so adorable to see. They kept on hanging out together after training and such. When they were able to represent China on the olympics in Sochi, they already knew each other for a decade. In Russia, they grew even closer, hanging out together more than with the athletes of their own skating discipline. They did all the possible sight-seeing and fun parts together. And when they were there in Russia, just the two of them, the buddies were able to grow even closer, and they started to feel butterflies for each other. While Dalin just had a careful interest, Chuming was far gone, and the moment he realised was when he saw Dalin win the silver medal, when he actually cried of joy. The boy himself didn't do as well, but in Pyeongchang, he'd eventually win gold and enter history, while this time, Dalin was on the first row, crying of joy.

how they interact Dalin is often taking care of Chuming, but most of the time they are just having the time of their lives together. Joking around, having endless talks, eating mountains of food together and just laughing all the time. They are still like the typical pair of besties, and even when they will start dating, they will still be mainly laughing and having fun. Dalin's ears always turn red when Chuming's around, while Chuming starts to fidget with anything he can fidget with. It's so adorable. Chuming's love for Dalin is bigger, for now, but Dalin's crush on Chuming is growing as well. But they never have dating rumors because China knows that they are buddies and part of Team Frost/Jalapeno hotties. Their love can't bloom at the moment, though, because whenever they go visit each other, the squad's with them 90% of the time. Not like they care, but they really want to be together like in Sochi again, just the two of them. And also, Chuming often gets asked why he would fall for such a tomboy, but it's because he likes her for who she is, knows that she's a lady like no other, and just... she is always so damn cute in her figure skating outfits.

last words Hey! First of all, since I didn't find a relationship section I put the squad under trivia. Actually I made the squad because I was looking for Peiyao pics for the love interest when I saw that pic of the 3 boys and I just wanted to use OACA's baby line I'm sorry. Also I really want to draw the squad?? I don't know why. Okay update of friday: the boys of team frost all got eliminated on idol producer I'M SAD! Anyway I really hope you like this unique girl and that she's not too weird for the story. I know, you do not really like super unrealistic things, but I think the figure skater to kpop idol thing can actually happen, they just have to have the right character for it.
