Mr. Nitpick `Minhyuk always likes to point out things that seems annoying to his eyes or doesn't go with his style. Could call him selfish at some point after nagging and nitpicking too much, but he never has any intention of hurting someone.

Alien `Sometimes would just dead-stare into your soul without saying anything like those aliens who can't blink or speak human language. He can also be very unpredictive or twists his tongue alot to misprounouce many words even though he excel in Korean. 

Big hyung `He has a soft heart for anyone younger than him. He likes to play around with middle school children that's beside his college and help them out alot with anything they need. He doesn't seem like it but he LOVES children and would die to protect them and give them sweets or candies.

Korean - very fluent - both of his parents are Korean and he used to live with his grandma back in Sydney so Korean language is not to be forgotten to learn.

English - partially fluent - after moving to Korea at the age of 9, he almost forgot how to speak in English and had broken gramma by the time he was about to graduate highschool. Mainly because he had no one to speak in English anymore and everyone had to answer and write essays in Korean which he mastered soon enough. But he decided to put hard practice to maintain his skills because it would be a huge loss to not be able to speak English nowadays.

  - Born with godly milky skin which every girls seems to get jealous of. No pimple nor acne breakouts, no scars of any kind.
   - Bangs always covering his doe-like eyes.
   - Narrow eyes but he believes that is his main charismatic point. But his dark brown orbs appears when he opens his eyes wide in shock of thunder or any loud noise. Uncharismatic, he'd say.
    - There is a birthmark on his right cheek bone, just a little under his eyes. He would also say it makes him special while laughing. The fortune teller says having a mole on your right cheeks means you need to watch your tongue or be careful of what you say. What bull , he whispers.
  - Cute lips like a girl; small but also a little plumpy, just enough for a good kiss *winks*
    - Shorter than most of the guys his age but he takes that as his advantage to karate chop or elbow someone in the stomach who's trying to make fun of him.
    - He has a small bone structure which is the reason for his low weight. But do not underestimate how hard his bones can get even though his muscles do not make up much of his punches.

FASHION
Minhyuk doesn't care aboout trends or what famous celebrities are wearing currently. He still would have a shirt from 6 years go wearing today. But no matter how much he is stingy of buying new clothes, he would never give up his no. 1 style: comfort. He believes new clothes make him uncomfortable because of the stiffness of 'new clothes' or jackets. 2 layers of jacket is fine for him as long as it stays comfortable. 

ㅤㅤㅤ˗ˏˋ THE STORY OF MINHYUK'S LIFE.

PERSONALITY
 - "i've survived with 3 hours of sleep for a week."
    He likes to act tough and deep inside he hardcore stands of his belief and is confident in what he believes. But his small body says otherwise. He ignores the signs and warning of his body and continues to act tough and smiles infront of everyone. Even after he collapses from exhaustion, he would always mention the quote "I've survived with 3 hours of sleep" whenever he's in a tiring or mentally draining situation.

 - "I'll buy you candy."
   Minhyuk makes sure everyone knows his financial status that he is living off pocket money from his uncle. But he doesn't hesitate to make up to someone, whether he gets in an accident or does something wrong. He loves to eat sweets himself, so he asks others if they are the same. He also carries a packet of jelly in his bag in case he sees children. 

 -"I have complete no interest in you."
       Minhyuk is pretty harsh and straight forward with his words. No sugar-coating, no face-chasing, no -kissing, no nothing. Just, always fires what ever's on his mind. He doesn't like oweing a debt to someone, that's why he makes up to them immediately. He would never forget to say thank you in case the other person finds him rude and would remember him for that. What usually happens when having debts are that they remember you. He doesn't want that. So sometimes even when others tries to keep budging into his life, he would be frank and tells them to gtfo. But he doesn't do that to anyone, only people who annoys him. 

 - "talk to me if you need anything."
       Even though he mentions about hating that people remembers him, he still wants to be noticed by people whom he likes or takes care of. For example like his old best buddy Hyungmin, who would never hide from each other or his younger sister. It could be his new freinds as well. He has a caring side to him which are hard to see if not close to him.

 -"I apologize for my part, now you apologize for yours."
        Fair and square is his motto, hit him once, he'll hit you the same for once. Equal for both males and females as well. Also when he gets into an arguement or conflict, he would apologize but would also ask for the same to appretiate and understand why they had the fight. 

BACKGROUND 
    - His parents worked in Australia as manager and secretery of a large drink-brand firm so as they continued to settle there, they gave birth to Minhyuk and his younger sister 2 years after. 
     - His parents were always super busy, but he never felt lonely as he had his grandma waiting from him back home and had very lovely and kind friends. 
    - The news of moving back to Korea, his home country actually broke his heart. Because he had to leave all the people he considered family; his grandma, his best friends.
    - His parents never seemed to reveal him the truth about anything. They would always demand something or command their wishes and he was nurtured to never say 'No' to his parents. 
    - As puberty hits, he starts to change and have self-realizations about why he always had to say Yes to whatever the adults want from him.
    - He almost turned into a bad boy, smoking cigaretts and underage drinking from the push of his friends at high school, but the thing that stopped him was his sister.
    - His sister seeked dependence from him alot. She made him realize he should act more responsible and mature like how the adults was teaching them to be. He loves his sister more than anything now, because it has brought him back to reality after going through a slump period of 'home-sickness' and missing his friends. 
    - He 'kinda' ran away from home after graduating from highschool because he felt that his parents were trying to cage him in the firm that they worked in before. Seeking his mother's side uncle for help, he determined that he will now stand up on his two feet and anything that happens in his future is because of his own fault.

 - has an opportunity to live in a rich residental area where his parents provide but he refuses and gave the apartment keys to his sister instead.

  - he needed to grow to adapt and survive the life where there is no ready-made facility and deal with power cuts and cold showers. 
  - his room is on the 3rd floor of the building behind all the shops of Hongdae streets.

  - he would take the bus to travel long distance because he wants to save up money and not take taxi.
  - He would walk by feet to school. 
  - he would like to ride a motorcycle because it seems cool and would add to his charisma.

DAILY LIFE
Morning: Wakes up at 6 am to always go for a morning jog until 7. He would finish his breakfast on the way back home at the convinient store with triangular kimbap or sandwich. His morning lectures start at 9 so he rushes to be ready by 8.30. Hongik Univ. is just along the road by as the rush hour gets closer, more people arrive on the streets and it takes him about 20 to 30 mins to arrive to college. 

Afternoon: He comes out for luch at the cafeteria after 2 hours of lecture. He would normally just grab a small lunch and enjoy it outside with nature and the sun. After he finishes, he would move into the shade while walking on the platform with his earphones on. He would steer his direction towards the library so he could meet his friends and get on with project work but his mind says something else. After procrastinating, he would rush to his 3pm to 5 classes.

Evening: He feels the sleepiest now. He sometimes cannot hold his head up straight and would doze off frequently in class. At 5.30 while leaving the school campus, he would think about sleeping at home for an hour but then he realizes, he have done nothing about his school work. After deciding, he would either give into sleep or visit his uncle's store early.

Night: His work starts. His mind strays away from stress at school and not finishing projects and not having enough communication with his friends. He feels rewarding after touching the money the customer left in his hand as a result of actual hardwork. After he makes sure he is the last person to leave the shop, it is aleady over midnight while he locks the doors. He would enjoy the short walk back home and maybe grab a beer on the way.

Occupation: Highschool maths teacher
When Minhyuk had a slump period through his highschool years, Tr. Choi would look out for him even though they have a tough relationship. The teacher would beat him up if necessary, but also guide him the 'right' way like how parents would. Daniel considered Minhyuk to be unlucky and confesses he was like how the teacher was during his youth, so he felt attracted to Minhyuk.

Mom's side eldest uncle
Name: Lim Dongseok
D.O.B: 28/02/1970
Occupation: owner of a seafood bar
His uncle has been surviving in Seoul for quite a pretty long time but has no intention to improve his living standards. He has a strange attraction towards his seafood restaurant, and has been opened ever since Minhyuk was in Australia. 
Dongseok would frequently visit the well-off family of his sister and is loved by the children. He would take Minhyuk to show traditional or cultural side of Korea and would do 'manly' stuff. 
But as Minhyuk 'ran away' after his highschool, his uncle was pissed at him for not taking the opportunity of having a ready-made well-off life.
Having no choice as Minhyuk begs, Dongseok gives him residence and a part time job.
 

His one and only younger sister.
Name: Bang Ina 
D.O.B: 24/12/1999
Occupation: 2nd Year at Collage of Fine Arts, working on becoming a ballerina.
Born on a fairly warm day in Australia, Minhyuk happily says it's Chirstmas eve. But it's summer in Australia. Greeted with heavy snow back in Korea, every December 24, Ina would complain about how she missed the warm summer air. They were like normal siblings, but indeed everything was normal without any commotion or arguement between the two. Minhyuk wasn't as protective of his sister until he didn't see her for more than 6 months after highschool. He met her again while walking down the Hongdae street and she was in her ballet tights with a jumper. He suddenly felt very strange; both sad and happy, relieved yet worried. Running up to her, he called out her name and gave a small smile. Unexpectedly, she wan't all that glad to meet him again. With a grimace on her face, she gave him a cold treatment and walked off. After that, he would try to ask why she was mad and would often ask for forgivness of his sudden departure. After hanging out for 2 to 3 years, they beame close siblings again like how they were before he ran away. Now he swore to never make her hurt again.

Minhyuk isn't really an animal lover but he does have a soft spot for baby animals. He wans't allowed to keep any pet as a child so he isn't very keen on having any pets now that he lives alone. But once chilly autumn day, he saw two calico cats snuggling upone one another for warmth and was isolated at the far corner behind the dump. He fed them the bread pieces from lunch and they rampaged for the food. He wondered how they were going to survive winter and worriedly brought him to his flat. He doesn't care if they go missing because they're not his to begin with; he'd think they went to search for more food. The cats do come back at some point, but if they disappear for more than 3 days, he would get worried. 

His closest friend since arrival in middle school

Occupation: Attending at College of Engineering.
Hyungmin has always been a smart and favoured kid since elementary, but he had a sense of earning himself a rival after overestimating Minhyuk since he came from Australia. Minhyuk was partially gifted with writing long essays easily and speaks his own mind confidently, which most kids are unable to do. Wanting to learn that ability, he purposedly got close to Minhyuk before he learned Minhyuk is not having a fun and free life like he does. When Minhyuk smiled to him for the first time, Hyungmin felt is was quite sincere but also sad unlike how the other kids would flash a wide smile fakely infront of him. They shared their secrets and also their abilities in studies but also sports and games which made them very close and become strong bros. But Hyungmin is now an engineering student who would have to spend most of his time studying so the two doesn't hang out as much. And they both feel sad about it. 

Ex-girl friend

Occupation: Freelance model, skipping college.
Of course as part of growing up, Minhyuk had fell in 'love'. Neither of them understood what 'love' really was; they fell for each other's looks and personalities, not what each of them were capable of. Minhyuk would just be dragged around where ever Yunhee goes, and never really proceeded from holding hands at the cafe. After not 'dating' for a week or so, Minhyuk unknowingly started to get worried about his girlfriend. She would reply to his text messages really late and only give him a fake smile. He knows something was up. And certainly something was going on; his friend Hyungmin spotted her hanging out with another guy from her class. Minhyuk texted her while staring at her across the cafe, she lied she was at home. It was when he felt a sharp pang of betrayal and walked up to their table and tapped his foot. He gave his significant 'dead-stare' into the girl who was returning with a shocked face. He marked their 'official' break up then after pouring water over the other guy's head.

ㅤㅤㅤ˗ˏˋ "PLEASE EXCUSE SEHUN."

"OH MY GOSH. HI." "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I'M HERE, TO BE HONEST." "JESUS, SEHUN. WE WENT OVER THIS. I TOLD YOU I NEEDED COMPANY 'CAUSE I WAS TOO NERVOUS TO CONDUCT THIS INTERVIEW BY MYSE—ANYWAYS, HEY! I'M JISOO, AND THIS IS MY COWORKER SEHUN." "HEY." "AND YOU MUST BE...?" 
"Hey Jisoo-ssi, uhm I, uh.. I work the opposite building of your cafe. You know that seafood bar across? Yea I've seen you a couple of times."
Slightly staring into the couple across him, he wondered why everything was so quiet and awkward. "Oh right sorry. I'm... I'm Bang Minhyuk." He bows with shyness. "Nice to meet you." His voice starts to fade in embarassment. 

"NICE TO MEET YOU! FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: ARE YOU AFRAID OF DOGS?" "WHAT KIND OF INTERVIEW QUESTION IS THAT?" "MY GOD, SEHUN, 'CAUSE THIS WILL BE OUR REGULAR MEETING SPOT. QUIT ASKING QUESTIONS. YOU'RE NOT THE INTERVIEWER HERE, I AM." 

"Nope." He gave a stern one word answer. But slowly starts to pick up his sentence, "I do have a cat at home and I love baby animals. I'm not really a fan of big dogs but puppies, I'm up for it."
He mentally slapped himself. I should stop being so talkative.

"NOW, WHERE DO YOU WORK IN BUSY HONGDAE? AND TELL US A BIT ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE." 

"As I accidently mentioned earlier, I work part-time at that seafood restuarant/bar. It's my uncle's shop and he hired me for the sole reason of letting me work at night to fight off drunken old men and tipsy ladies." He grins and chukles to himself.  "As you can see the shop's entrance is wide open so we get all sorts of people coming in and out all the time. It's just the bottom floor of the building." He thinks of what to say next. "I'm short but I'm strong so I some dirty work. No- NOT those dirty work.. uh. I mean washing the dishes, carrying heavy utensils, fixing the gas pipes, and some calculations when the cashier is missing. I'm on good terms with everybody. Or maybe everyone wants to stay on good terms with me because I'm the nephew of the owner or I get tough when it comes to annoying people." He innocently smiles after finishing that sentence. 

"COOL! SO, HOW DID YOU COME TO FIND OUT ABOUT HONGDAE SQUAD?" "HOW COULD THEY NOT KNOW ABOUT IT AFTER YOU POSTED THAT FLYER OF YOURS ON THE COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD FOR LIKE A MONTH NOW." "...TRUE."  

"Yea the flyer was the main source of how I knew this."

"ANY PARTICULAR REASON BEHIND YOU WANTING TO JOIN THE SQUAD?" 

"I felt like I needed some new people to meet. In class all of us are all head-down to the textbook and people you usually hangout are at the library. So, meeting new people would be the main reason." He nods in confirmation.

"DING DING DING!" "OH GOD." "THE SPEED ROUND HAS JUST BEGUN! SO, I'LL JUST BE ASKING YOU A SERIES OF QUICK QUESTIONS THAT I JUST WANTED TO PUT IN THE INTERVIEW SO I SEEM LIKE A COOL AND FUN PERSON 'CAUSE I REALLY AM, I PROMISE."

He smiles to himself. "Sure."

"EARLY BIRD OR NIGHT OWL?" Night owl.

"BURGERS, FRIED CHICKEN, OR PIZZA?" Pizza no sweat.

He gets up his chair and gives a warm smile before bowing a few degrees. "Thanks for having me here. Have a nice lunch date."

Can be considered a slight flirtous in the eyes of others because he is kind towards girls and likes to show off his charisma. But he sees everyone as equal and does not care about having a girlfriend because "that's what everyone does so I'm not doing it."
