Bo is the kind of person that loves to laugh and make others laugh. She loves telling jokes during awkward silent situations, she loves to play pranks on her friends and she loves to do funny things to get a reaction out of others. She is someone great to have on variety shows and loves to do funny/crazy dances. She loves taking popular dances in Korea and making a crazy parody version of it. You can rest assured that if Bo is around, you’ll be laughing. She is also someone that is very quick witted. She knows how to answer questions thrown at her very quickly and she can even be very clever and funny with the answers. It surprises people how natural answers come to her especially during interviews. She’s the kind of girl that can think on her feet. You best believe that if someone throws some funny remark or shade her way, she’ll know how to throw it back just as hard. She is also very direct and decisive. She isn’t the type to take a long time to make decisions and she doesn’t ponder over options. She knows what she wants and will go for it. She isn’t afraid to confess to someone and isn’t afraid to confront someone. She is very direct about her feelings and emotions and won’t sugarcoat things. You can best believe she’ll be honest and upfront with you which people appreciate. She’s also very loyal. If she cares about you and you two have a good relationship, Bo is the most loyal friend you will have. She will stick by her friends until the end of the earth and the kind of person that will always be by her friends side. Bo loves skinship and because of it, she can come off as flirtatious and clingy. She likes to hold hands with her group members, hug them, slap their , cling onto their arms, etc. She also has a lot of skinship around her guy friends which can often lead to misunderstandings. If she’s comfortable with someone, male or female, skinship is something she natural does and a lot of people don’t really like that about her because she comes off as rude and annoying. She’ll do things like jump onto people’s back at random, she’ll hold onto their arm without warning and it can take a lot of people by surprise. She’s a natural flirt so even if she isn’t trying to, it’ll come off as flirting. To the guys she does like, she will flirt like no other and loves to teach others her tactics on how to flirt. How to look at a guy, how to respond to questions and how to use body language to flirt. She is definitely a master. Bo is actually pretty picky. She is picky with her food, she is picky with her clothes, she is even picky with her men. Bo is kind of materialistic in the way that she really cares about material objects and name brands. She doesn’t wear any bags that aren’t name brand like LV, Givenchy, Chanel, etc. She refuses to wear drugstore makeup or skincare products and only buys mid-high end brands. She likes expensive things because she can’t stand things made with low quality. However, just because she likes expensive things doesn’t mean she looks down on others that don’t have them, it’s just a personal choice for herself. She’s just not a cheap person herself. Bo is also pretty clumsy herself and can sometimes has butter fingers. She trips just walking on plain flat surfaces. She gets a lot of bruises on her legs because she’s always bumping into things and tripping on absolutely nothing. If she had a nickel for everytime she dropped something on the floor, she would be a millionaire by now. Some other personality traits of Bo’s is that she is very cute. She has a lot of aeygo and really good at acting cute. She’s also, like all idols and trainees, is very hardworking and dedicated to her career. relationships

— Close Friend / Blackpink Jenne and TWICE Nayeon / Both are 1995 liner / idols / Jennie and Bo met as trainees under YGE and became close because they were both foreigners. She introduced her to Nayeon as well and the three of them became very good friends and spend a lot of time together outside of the idol life. Bo loves supporting Nayeon whenever she can and she always dances to TWICE songs. She makes them into funny parody versions that are fun to watch.

Trainee life

— Bo moved to Korea in 2013 after auditioning for YG Entertainment. She went through online auditions where she sent in videos of her singing and dancing. She was surprisingly accepted and brought to Korea for an in person audition. The casting agents liked her look and they liked her voice and she joined the agency as a trainee. She ultimately left YGE in 2016 when she was passed to join Blackpink. She joined Song Media in the beginning of 2017. She enjoyed training a lot and realized just how different the training style was compared to YGE. In YGE, she always felt like she had to sing and dance and act the way "YG Artist" did but in Song Media, she could perform and act comfortably to her real personality. She did struggle to remove that "YG swag" and YG image that she was trained to embody but being under Song Media and working with the tariners and other trainees, she is slowly learning to drop that YG facade.

Scandals

— A few months after debuting, she gets into a dating scandal where she was photographed with one of the males of All In. They had gone out to eat at night after practicing and they had a couple of drinks to destress. Because of their close friendship, Bo was seen holding onto his arm and leaning her head onto him as they were walking out of the restaurant. Of course, the agency denied any claims that they were dating and stated that they were close friends and group mates. Lots of people came to her defense, especially the international community to state that her actions reflect those of a girl who is good friends with a male, others stated that she acted way to flirty and it wasn't appropriate for a female idol.
