Wanna One in KL

When they arrived in Malaysia this Monday (15th Jan), I was so surprised. I thought they'll be filming something here, but it seems like they just came to have a vacation. So for the next few days we see Wanna One roaming about in KL, them walking on the streets and doing grocery like a local, Daehwi asking "what is this" when he saw a mini flood (bcs of heavy rain), Daehwi wearing yellow, Daehwi's iconic hair flip, Daehwi shopping with Jinyoung, Da-

I'm sorry.

I mean, just Wanna One relaxing and loosening up in my own country, going around and generally just enjoying themselves, on my Twitter tl it was full with people meeting them in a shopping mall (seriously, I want to go to Pavilion), people recording them from a distance, people freaking out because they accidentally meeting them on the streets, people posting photos of them. People are respectful and gave them space, and all was going well, my babies are having fun... (meanwhile I'm crying on Twitter just watching them having the luck because I don't live in KL, heck, I don't even live in Selangor who am I kidding, I live 400km away from KL)

Until D-day, which is today.

It began okay at first, but then people started squeezing against each other and people got injured, people were screaming for help while they're performing on stage, they were doing their greetings and people won't calm down, so the MC did the only logical thing that is, asking them to go backstage and wait for the fans to calm down, and everyone was pissed and worried, Daehwi asking people to step back, Sungwoon looking worried, blah blah... even the police interfered and said that if the fans doesn't calm down they're gonna cancel the fanmeeting...

At this point I'm just so done with my people, I closed my Twitter tab. Last I updated, which is about 15 minutes ago, they have asked the fans in rock zone to sit down and then after they calmed a bit they asked them to stand up again. Wait I'm just gonna head back and check for a bit...

Yeah it's still on hold, and the event was scheduled to end at 10pm... I don't think the event can continue again.

Long story short, this is a huge mess, and we're most probably going to get badmouthed, and there will be bad media, no one will ever come to Malaysia to hold a Kpop concert anymore, I can imagine tomorrow's news headlines, people shaking their heads at us, and generally getting bad name.

I'm not exactly angry though, just... tired? I'm tired of this situation, why can't people cooperate? We probably have no more chance of meeting Wanna One in our own country ever agian, and with the thought that they'll be pulling the d-act end of this year, this is just...devastating. Exactly why- but at least there wasn't a stampede or I think I'm going to quit Twitter-

Anyways I'm extremely diasppointed with our fans' behaviour, and would like to apologize if I can. Seeing their upset faces just breaks my heart, I actually feel like crying a bit rn. Not only because of the whole seriously fcked up situation, but also our image in other fans' eyes. I just hope if there's a next time they'll behave better

(PS they were going to carry out a birthday project for Daehwi initially... but I guess, not anymore.)

Wow, that super that the fans went crazy :( Why couldn't they just act civilized and give them space? I went to KCON LA last year and Wanna One was THE spotlight for a TON of people there. I wasn't one of the ones hyped for them. I was ecstatic that D&E and VIXX were there! Hopefuly Malaysia will get another chance~
