I feel as though all my old friends are also no longer here though.

Congratulations! Being married is one of the best and worst times of anyone's life tbh. I'm sure you've already heard of this but it can be a struggle. No one is perfect. But what matters is that you both have a profound trust and love for one another in the end of any future fight and misunderstanding you go through. I wish the both of you true happiness!
