Most Expensive Meal

So I just ate the most expensive meal. I don't know how expensive is expensive for you guys. But for me I just ate the most expensive meal I could ever afford. Well I paid half of it plus a voucher. keke. I ate at Wolfgang at Resorts World. One of my officemates gave me a voucher, since she can't go anyways she gave it to me instead.
l already did my research about the restaurant and knew it was a fancy one. I brought extra cash knowing the voucher is not enough. As big as the voucher amount I knew it wasn't enough, I was prepared for that.

I though we were prepared (I asked my other officemate if she wanted to come) but when I saw the menu my eyes widened. The voucher amount doesn;t even cover half the amount. We ordered steak since its the house specialty and its what its famous for. The order asked us if we want anything while we're making a decision. He asked if we want water, or sparkling water. My friend immediately said Sparkling water

Then we ordered ONE glass of wine. That ONE glass of wine is the same price as a korean eat all you can restaurant. We shared that one glass. Then we order mashed potato. That mashed potato is the same price as 3 meals for one day. Then a few minutes later our food arrive. It was this massive steak that is good for two to three people. We had is at medium rare, it was really tender and taste best with salt and pepper. It was good, but maybe because I kept thinking about the price I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have it was free. We had a great time. The ambiance was nice and all.

Then came the bill. I almost had a heart attack. Long story in short, I paid as much as my week expenses. And that is after the voucher amount was deducted and split in half. My week's expenses gone just like that. The total bill cost as much as a Samsung phone, not the latest kind but an past model ok kind.

Still, its the most expensive meal I ever paid for.

Never doing that again.

It's bad you couldn't enjoy at the fullest because of the thoughts of the price, but it was an experience.

I think I can understand how you feel. I would definitely feel the same too if I were in your shoes. But since it's something that you can't change it anymore , I think you should just remember it as a good memory. Take it as a treat to compliment yourself for working hard . Don't have any regrets or sad feeling. Let it passed with good thoughts.
