So today I woke up with the horrible news that you all have most definitely heard. SHINee (and the rest of the world have lost a talented, beautiful soul to the monster that is depression. 

I was devastated when I heard the news. SHINee has been and will always be legends to me, pure magical beings with the power to make me feel every emotion known to humankind. 

I cannot even begin to express how sad I am. I cry every hour, every single time I think about how nothing feels the same. Nothing feels real. It all feels like a terrible nightmare that I will soon wake up from and forget. It's a loss that will take forever to get over. 

Jonghyun was an inspiration, and a lyrical genius. He has worked so hard to achieve all that he has achieved. He leaves behind a legacy that is so ginormous, and an immesurable impact on the industry. 

Kim Jonghyun, you have fought hard in a battle against your own mind. It is time to rest. Rest well.
