This is an incredibly hard time for all of us, especially Shawols. Please take care of each other and rest easy knowing he is perhaps in a better place now and not suffering any longer. 

If you need to talk to someone please do not hesitate to talk to me. This is the time we all really need to stick together. This is dediacted to the man who was once my saving grace. 

I am still in utter disbelief – in denial of the truth that is staring back at me on my screen. The same screen through which you once pulled me out of the same thing you suffered till your last day. I’ve never met you face to face yet the grief and heartbreak I feel at you loss right now says that we didn’t have to – you touched my soul when I needed it the most and that will always remain. You helped me during my darkest of days with your enchanting voice, ageless charm and blinding smile that made me forget my pain. You were my saving grace when the world felt like the cruellest of places to be. Your music – my shoulder to lean on when I felt all alone in this big world.

I am sorry I couldn’t be the same. I am sorry no one realised the signs even though now they seem so glaringly obvious. I am sorry for your pain and suffering that no one could pull you out of. I am sorry no one heard your cries for help. I am so so so sorry for the pain the world caused you, that you were left with no choice but to leave it once and for all.

The earth lost one of the most magnificent souls to have ever existed, but the sky gained an ever shining star. Even now it doesn’t really feel like you left us because you will always live in all our hearts forever. Now when I look up at the sky at night I know I’ll find the brightest of stars winking back at me. I hope you are finally happy and free of suffering. I hope your soul is at peace now.
