Dear fellow shawols, 

Today is a tragic day. I’m sure many of you know by now that our beloved Kim Jonghyun from SHINee has passed away today. It’s still shocking to think just yesterday i was sitting in my room listening to Sherlock. SHINee as a whole has brought so much joy to my life and no doubt yours. Without Jonghyun,without Jongkey, without these fandoms and communities that we have created. I would of never found out that true love really does exist. To some, Jongkey was real. To others it was fake or interpreted as brotherly love. To me it was one big tragic yet beautiful love story where i saw a bond like no other. This ‘power couple’ is the reason i have so much love in my heart to give not only to my boyfriend but family, strangers and friends. I’ve been working on something big for shawols in in the fanfiction community. I have decided to continue to go through with my current projects, not only for Jonghyun but everyone who was hurt by this tragic news today. I will show my appreciation for everything they have done for me through handwork like SHINee has done for us for 10 great years. I hope you guys agree that they deserve it and will join me by continuing to make this fandom grow. I know it will be tough, but please don’t be discouraged by this misfortune. Rather, see it as an opportunity to show SHINee we can stay strong for them and still create something beautiful from our hearts in these hard time that are here right now and to come. May SHINee keep shining as Jonghyun live on in our hearts.
