Her plan was to get his attention early on, and then keep it the whole night before leaving without even saying hello...so that on Sunday he would need to invite her to sit with him. It was pretty easy, she sat beside him at the counter and ordered a drink, innocently bumping his arm, and then bending down to fix her shoe strap while he looked over so that her cleavage showed more. Then as she gracefully sat back up, she briefly looked at him with innocent doe eyes. Once her drink was given to her, she silently walked off with her drink. The whole night she danced, she could feel his eyes glued to her, it was definitely working.
The next night, she sat beside him at the bar again, and before she could place her order, Osten recited the exact drink she had ordered the night before. She looked at him, slightly surprised, and he gave her a smirk. She thanked him before taking the drink and attempting to walk off, however he grabbed her wrist, and then took her hand to place a kiss on it. He introduced himself as Osten Levashov, and Mihyun in turn introduced herself, he stood up and pulled her in close, saying he could tell she was a journalist. He said he wouldn’t talk to any dirty tabloid, and she scoffed and protested saying she was a freelance writer focused on Eurasian politics. He raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed with her. So, he decided to invite her to his VIP area so that they could talk. When they got there, she was introduced to his close friend Victor. The three talked all night, and Mihyun actually took a liking to Osten. They would do this the next weekend as well, and finally they slept together. It was originally a drunk friend bringing home another drunk friend, up until Mihyun started hugging and kissing him to the point it drove him crazy and he couldn’t hold himself back anymore. After that night Mihyun was almost completely attached to Osten’s side, and was also getting close to Victor, who showed interest in learning Korean.
As time passed Mihyun found herself very much in love, were as Osten assumed he was just infatuated. But still, he couldn’t describe in words how he felt when she was near him. Victor would play chess and talk for hours with Mihyun while Osten was off doing business, and Mihyun had long since stopped asking about it after Osten started yelling at her once for being too nosy. The three were inseparable, until Mihyun found out she was pregnant. She was shocked at first because marriage came first in her plan, however she found herself still very very happy. She quietly went to Osten’s study (she had unofficially been living with the two men for a few months by now), and found it a crack open. She could hear him talking with a group of other men. They were saying something about power, and ever lasting life. Then she saw Osten come into view, and the others threw a man who was tied up to the ground. Osten bent down, grasping the man’s face, and suddenly bit down on his neck and . Mihyun felt her heart drop to the pit of her stomach. She got up and ran upstairs to Victor’s room and knocked relentlessly till he opened it. She ran in and closed the door, locking it. She told him everything, from being pregnant to what she saw, and he had to hold her till she stopped panicking. He then told her the truth, that Osten was a Moroi, what most humans call a Vampire. As well as that he himself was a Dhampire, and the child Mihyun bares will also be one. He explained that the child would have to stay with Osten, and attend a special school. She immediately said no, and that she didn’t want her child to grow up in a world like that. She begged Victor to help her.
He eventually agreed, they decided the only thing to do, was for her to die. Not literally. But make them believe she had. Otherwise they would track her down. They planned to stage her driving off a bridge, but in reality she would get out of the car in an alley before hand and rig it with a dead body dressed as her, with a similar appearance. Victor would be able to manipulate the DNA results. Anyone who knew her in Russia would believe her to be dead. She then convinced her friend to come back to Korea with her, after Victor told her the truth as well. Her friend was to be Victor’s eyes and ears to look after Mihyun and the baby. It would be how he could know where they were and that they were safe.
So it was. Mihyun moved around in South Korea quiet often whenever she felt she might be in danger of being caught. But once Mishil was born Mihyun and her friend tried to settle down for as long at a time as possible. Mishil thought mihyun’s friend was her aunt, and had no idea who her father was. Or what he was. Things began changIng though, when Mishil turned 12 and started going through puberty. Everything was more intense, and she was stronger and faster then all the girls, and all the guys, at her school. Living in Seoul was a risk Mihyun knew she was taking, but it meant Mishil could get away from the bullies from her old school and would get a chance to attend good schools for high school and university. The BIggest prompt to move after junior high.
IN her first year of high school they moved to seoul, and mishil was surprised to find she made friends so quick. Hodong was her seat mate, and Yuna was assigned to tutor her. It was like destiny really, since the three of them meshed so well. She felt like maybe she could be normal. That changed again however, when Hodong was staying over to study one night. That’s what they convinced her mom it was about at least. In reality she had gotten into a fight behind the school with someone who was picking on hodong and punched a Hole in the side of a brick wall. So Hodong had this whole theory on genetically enhanced spiders, and wanted to research her abnormal behaviour. They didn’t need to spend that much time searching, because the answer rang the doorbell that night.
Victor found Mihyun, and when she opened the door to see him she was in a mix of wanting to cry hugging him, and slam the door in his face. Ultimately she let him in and the former started to frantically question him. Mishil and Hodong heard the strange reaction, and were spying from upstairs. The two adults were too busy hugging each other to notice. Then they sat down and he took her hands and looked at her with a serious face. He started to speak in Korean to the teen’s surprise, and what he said was even more shocking.
Mishil’s father apparently became a Strigoi and Victor was here because the Yingsu Council knows about Mishil and want to eliminate her, before Osten knows of her existence. A possible weakness. So the only place for Mishil to be safe is with her people. Dhampires. With Victor. Mihyun looked like she would cry again, but eventually she sighed. Nodding her head as they discussed Mishil moving to her “new school”. The teens were shocked, and went to mishil’s room. Mishil was baffled because this made sense, and her mother wouldn’t react like that if it were fake. Hodong on the other hand was In love with Mishil, and they were practically dating, minus the actual kissing/confession part. Yuna, who was clueless to everything that wasn’t math, even could tell. Everyone knew except Mishil. And now she would have to leave him.
Mihyun eventually called Mishil down, and this meant she needed to make a choice. So she took Hodong’s hand and went down stairs with him. After convincing Victor Hodong could be trusted, he introduced himself as an old friend of Mihyun’s and the person who would watch over Mishil from now on. They explained everything to her, and that when the summer ended she would have to attend a new school, only able to visit during certain times. But it was that or risk getting murdered by crazy vampires or whatever. Even if thAt meant leaving her friends.

- On the daily Mishil likes to wake up early to either sketch the sky, or write her dreams down in her journal. Then she will sleep an extra half hour before getting up to get ready for school.
- She is an attentive learner, and one of those people who manages to take all the notes in class as diligently as possible.
- She will take a little while to actively get a hang on new class material, but once she gets an understanding she is a fast learner.
- When she gets off classes she likes to hang out with her friends and wind down, before doing homework and having “Me Time” where she will either read or watch movies/tv.

Some of these things get shook up when Victor comes along and she starts a new. It’s jarring and she is vulnerable for a while till a soon favourite teacher snaps her out of things and helps her realize her new reality. After that she is more open to making new friends, and her relationship this Victor flourishes. She also grows closer to her LI, and deals with the slight complication between him, her and hodong.
