I worry about my friend

I worry about my friend please hear me out.

She been with this guy for two months before they did . The guy stayed with her throughout her pregnancy for nine months. She had their child this past October. Now here is the part I worry alot. She and her boyfriend are rushing to get marry. This concerns me though, if you want to be with someone for the rest of your life should you be together for more than just a year?

Why is she rushing? I'm really worry for her.

What your friend needs is your support, not your judgement. Trust her to make the decisions she needs to. Support them. If things end up not working out in the end, then support her then as well, hopefully without a bunch of I told you so's. I'm sure they've got enough people doubting them, what she needs from you is to be there for her.

some people dont need more than a year to get marriage. i know a lot of my friend’s parents got married after 6 months or even 3, and theyre all pretty happy as of right now.
perhaps if its her own choice then maybe she did think about it a lot. the guy was nice enough to stay and support his child anyway

My friend got married to her boyfriend after 3 months of dating (only 18 at the time). They’ve been together now for 5 years and have two little girls and are very happy. It’s natural for you to be concerned because they’re relationship seems rushed from the beginning. Just support her, who knows, they could be together until their old.

It depends. I guess if they have reached a certain level , and share mutual feeling about their love and future then it is possible. Besides they already have a child together right ? So maybe that's the best for them . Just my opinion.
