Coming from a rough background,it has shaped the person he is today. This man has become very cynical in his outlook to life because of his past. He does not believe in the good in this world and is thoroughly convinced that the world isn't to be trusted as well. One cannot blame him for this,it's been ingrained in his nature. To him,he thinks the world is driven by greed and self-interest. He is also very distrustful of others. This resulted in his lack of friends because he is unwilling to open up to them. Jung Hyun is really just afraid of getting hurt all over again. However,he is also very hardworking and tries his hardest in order to achieve what he wants. His motivation is powered by a need to succeed in life and to realise his own dreams as an artist and prove that this boy from a damaged past can make it big. Coming from an abusive household also made him a righteous person who values justice over mercy. He is willing to protect the unfortunate and will never stand for injustice,no matter who that person is. Jung Hyun is also courageous in a way that he will not back down in the face of danger if it meant that he is fighting for what is right. He does not stand for bullies and used to fight back against bullies in high school as well. He is though,quite unforgiving of others. This was the case with his mother who betrayed his love. He firmly believes that second chances should not be given. To him,if you can screw up once,it means you don't value that opportunity enough for a second shot. Jung Hyun is also very realistic,having given up hope on miracles and luck a long time ago. Fairy tales just don't happen in real life. Period. Sometimes,this can also result in him offending others because he's too straightforward. He can easily burst someone's bubble without even realising so. Yet,others can depend on him for a real opinion. He is a very determined person and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Once again,this can be both good and bad. Good in a way that he works while people slack and will have a greater chance at succeeding but bad in a way that he totally neglects his own health and doesn't care for people's feelings when he is rising to the top. One admirable thing about him is that he is also very passionate with the things he loves. His passion really shines when he's rapping and singing and this can really inspire others. His kind of passion is very rare these days  because he is just so indulged in music that it is his life. His strong beliefs will also not be swayed. This man is also very prideful as he will never admit to his mistakes or his feelings even though they might betray him sometimes. He refuses to break down in front of anyone ever again since he was 9. To him,it's the equivalent to leaving himself vulnerable. He is also very silent and it makes him look very mysterious. It makes others intrigued to know him but sometimes also turns other people off,making him seem unintentionally arrogant.

When in love,this man is very generous to his partner and will never want to see her be upset. He will give everything he has if he were to let himself love. Jung Hyun loves whole-heartedly and expects the same. He is the type of boyfriend to be quietly by your side,not making himself known but always having your back in case you stumble. His guard will be let down completely and you will see that the hidden Jung Hyun is actually very caring and loving,always wanting the best for his lover. At first he might try to suppress these feelings because he is just so unused to falling in love and would try his best to avoid the girl,even being mean to her on many occasions. But don't be misunderstood,he is just scared of his own emotions.

He'a like that powerful,explosive member who just burns up the stage with his flair. Jung Hyun acts at the spur of the moment when onstage,it's just the adrenaline of being a performer. Background:

When Jung Hyun was born on the 16th of December 1996,life was perfect for the Han family. The family had a stable income,a wonderful marriage and now they have a beautiful baby boy. Things could not have gone more wrong from then.

Jung Hyun's childhood was a miserable one. He grew up in an abusive household up till the age of 5. His father became a compulsive gambler just a few months after his birth,in a bid to desperately get more money to support the household all the while trying to hide the fact that he had lost his job. He did not expect to be addicted to gambling. So,instead of going home with his wad of notes due to beginner's luck,he went there day after day. He did not seek a new job and everyday he ended up getting the family deeper in debt. He even took up drinking and would come home drunk. It wasn't until loan sharks came over to knock on their door did his mother find out. Never in a billion years was this expected from his father who had always been kind and morally just. Jung Hyun was yelled at and caned a lot as a toddler when he cried. His father had developed anger issues due to compulsive drinking which blurred his senses.

His mother cared for him,though. She loved him even though she was beginning to hate his father for the late drunken nights. Jung Hyun's mother would play with him and read him bedtime stories or shower him with motherly affection after bouts of agression from father. At the age of 5,his father died in a road accident when he had drunkenly walked among traffic. The news came at a great time as the family had been at their wit's ends. There was no longer any feelings of love from his mother and himself to Hyuk Soo (father) due to the 5 years of pure torture when he would abuse them and steal from them. Yet,it was difficult for them to get back on their feet. They still had to deal with the aftermaths from his death and the debt wasn't going to pay itself. Jung Hyun's mother began to work obsessively while Jung Hyun entrusted to the kindergarten and she wouldn't pick him up until very late. Despite all these,Jung Hyun still had his mother's love and she never failed to always read him stories before bed as usual. 

When he was 7,his mother announced that they were going to someplace special. They went to this sweet little establishment and it did feel like a child's idea of heaven. There was a huge playground and even cake! His mother then walked up to him while he was playing by the swings and promised to be back a week later. He was confused but accepted it anyways when she said that she has dropped him off at a resort for children. To think how wrong he was. She never did come back. He waited for a week,then 2 weeks then 3. It slowly began to dawn upon him of what was going on. The worst part was,he didn't even cry or scream. He just took it in numbly. Instead,hatred grew in him. He became extremely bitter but it also caused him to be more mentally matured than the rest of the children.

Madam Kim took pity on him and would always look out for him but he always tried to fend off her help. He didn't trust anyone anymore. His father promised to stop gambling but he did not.His mother promised to love him forever but she abandoned him. He did make a friend though - Jung Won Suk. He was the first friend he made in the one week he thought was a vacation. It took about 2 years before Jung Hyun really broke down and showed real emotions for the first time over his mother's betrayal to Madam Kim and Won Suk. Since then,none of them can say they have ever seen the bubbly boy who first arrived at the orphanage again. He was now this reclused boy who wouldn't interact with anyone and was prone to anger such that there were children who feared him. If his father didn't already cause emotional trauma to him,his mother's damage changed him into a completely different person.

Middle school came along and life wasn't any better. He hated school and would often despise it when the other kids celebrate Mother's Day. He always skipped school on Mother's Day. Then,Won Suk was adopted when they were both 11 years old. It felt like a slap to the face. He was now losing his best friend as well. Yet,there was no expressions from him. It was as if he was in this dark world with no escape. He was being suffocated by his own past and current reality but he couldn't even express it. Then he discovered his interest in music. It came out of nowhere. He had just been aimlessly surfing the net that he chanced upon a song by Fall Out Boy. Previously,he did not think of music as an interest but he was just so inspired by these guys and the passion of their music. He was hooked. Having prior knowledge on how to play the guitar during music lessons in the orphanage,he tried to play accordingly and even began to sit in during music lessons in school (though he skipped like the rest of the lessons because #whogivesaflyingrat'sass). He developed a strong interest in music and began to engage in singing and rapping during his free time,basically most of the time since he's rarely in class. He also began to indulge in rap tunes and almost every genre. Jung Hyun loved music in general,even classical and metal. Music was his escape and was the light at the end of the dark tunnel he was trapped in.

By age 18-19,he was told to leave the orphanage because he reached adult age. He moved out with nothing to his name except his luggage and about $500 with him given by Madam Kim to support himself. Jung Hyun rented a shabby apartment and sought for work at a pizzeria. He was beyond poor. He would skip lunch often and all this scrimping really made him manage his money well, His love for music never faded and whenever he wasn't working,he would go busking. Without a license. Technically,it's supposed to be illegal. But Jung Hyun being Jung Hyun,no s were given. Even the police couldn't stop him. He would just go to some other location or be back a couple hours later. He needed the extra buck so why not do what he loves while earning money for it. He was then scouted by a Galaxy talent scout when he was out busking one day.

She raised him up since he was 7 after his own mom abandoned him. You could say it was pity she had for June Hyun which later turned to affection. She was the one who prevented him from venturing off to the deep end and gave him a bit of care when he had none.

They met when she first arrived to Galaxy about 7 months after he did. She has a mini crush on him at first sight but he doesn't notice her. They have only talked briefly when she took the iniative.
