appearance.  The only thing similar to her faceclaim is the hair. Nuala is 166cm and 46kg. Nuala has hair that flows down just below her shoulders, and is open to dye it. She doesn't have any birthmarks, though a couple of little scars here and there. For makeup, she is not too big on it and keeps it simple. She has three piercings: the two traditional piercings on her ears, and a cartilage piercing on her left ear. Her skin is kind of on the paler side, but still a little bit tan. She usually gets acne when she's tired, and has no freckles but has a couple of moles on her neck, shoulder, and hips.

personality.  People have said that Nuala is pleasant to be around, as in they're mostly comfortable with Nuala around. Nuala is very reliable and friendly. When you first look at her, you may think she is very cold, and doesn't care about anyone, but she actually has a big heart. Whenever someone is down, she would try to cheer them up and talk to them. When it comes down to making decisions, Nuala is rational about her decisions, thinking about the pros and cons about the situation. She can be also competitive when a tasks is given to her. Because of her ambitions, she can too competitive. And lastly, Nuala is tremendously ambitious. She has an huge urge of not giving up, no matter what it takes.

Nuala is restless, especially when she's stressed. She can't be still, she has to do something when she feels like she's under pressure. With that, she gets obnoxious with her habits and just annoys everyone around her without any knowledge of it. Nuala can be sarcastic, or so she thinks. She is not very good with humor, and when she is being "sarcastic", a lot of people takes it the wrong way and thinks she is bringing them down, resulting in them sometimes loathing Nuala. Nuala can also get very stubborn at times, especially when she's sad, tired, or stressed. At these times, Nuala prefers to be alone and thinks she can deal with it herself but in reality, she can't. She also sometimes suffers from anxiety attacks when she's stressed. Because of this, Nuala can be extremely insecure and doubtful about herself.

background. Nuala Bree Yang was born on March 31st, 1997 in Dublin, Ireland to her parents Yang Minkyu and Nessa Bryne. Nuala is half Irish and half Korean, with her dad being Korean and her mother being Irish. Shortly after Nuala being 7 years old, her mother gave birth to Nuala's sister, Fallon. With Nuala being half Korean, her family would often visit her father's side in Busan, South Korea every other year in the summer. There, Nuala would take Korean lessons from her father, grandmother, and relatives.
Anyways, Nuala grew up like any other kid. With it being her being an only child for the first 7 years of her life, she was raised kind of being spoiled, despite growing up in middle class. Or at least that's what her parents wanted to do, give her the stars and the moon, but Nuala didn't want to be spoiled, she didn't want to waste their money. With school life, she'd place in the top 20 in her classes, and went to all girls school in elementary and middle school. Nuala was in the book club, and spend most of her free time writing. Her dream was to become an author, and have a series of books that would be made into a movie. She had tons of unfinished notebooks of stories hidden in her room, and wanted to become a writer. But as a famous saying goes, “Things aren't always what they seem.”
Along with her love of writing, Nuala also had a sweet spot for music. She would blare SNSD's music throughout her house, and would have little dance parties with her friends. SNSD was Nuala's favorite group ever. So how did she end up in Jellyfish Entertainment? Well, at first, she didn't have a desire to become an idol, becoming an author was her number one priority. She would enter her writing in competitions, but it wasn't the finalist. And while she didn't want to give up, she knew that her dream of a book series and turning them into movies was not going to happen.
While visiting her relatives in Korea in 2015, Nuala was with her family in Seoul when business-like lady came up to her. The lady simply handed her a card the read "Jellyfish Entertainment" on it. Skeptical later that day, Nuala's parents search the entertainment on the web, and was surprised to see that it was a music company, and let Nuala try it out and audition.
A couple weeks later, Nuala went to the Jellyfish building in Seoul to audition, where she took headshots. Then, they asked her to show a musical talent. Nuala didn't really know what to do, as she didn't have any musical history. So, she tried her best to sing and dance too SNSD's Oh!. Apparently, Jellyfish liked her performance and asked her to come train for them.
Her father and mother was surprisingly supportive of Nuala moving to Seoul, with the exception of her relatives popping in every couple months to see how she's doing. So, Nuala moved to Seoul at the age of 18, after high school, not knowing what her next adventure is but excited to see whats next in her new chapter.

Nuala started to to train at Jellyfish Entertainment at the age of 18. She trained hard to fulfill her dream. At Jellyfish, Nuala was very insincere because she was a new trainee and it was her first trainee experience. Nuala wasn't sure if she would be a trainee if that wasn't really getting anywhere in terms of an income, and had thoughts of quitting almost everyday. At one point in her trainee days, her parents made the entertainment companies debut her soon or they would take her out and follow her dad's career as a lawyer. Her parents made her work so hard that she couldn't even see her parents. Eventually, that all paid off because she is now potentially in the line up for Coalesce.

   Just a few questions

What does the word 'Coalesce' mean to you? "It means family and equality. I know it may sound cheesy and it is, but it's the truth; Coalesce is like my second family."

What makes you different compared to the other 6 girls? "I don't want to sound selfish and high and mighty, everyone is unique in their own way. But if I had to chose, it'd be my ethnicity, it's not very common to find Irish-Koreans, especially in this industry."

How do you feel about Coalese being a one year group? "It's bitter-sweet. Time flies by very quickly, and in a blink of an eye it'll be over, which is sad. Hopefully, we can cherish every moment while being in the group."

With Coalese being a multi-race group in the korean music industry, do you think you have thick enough skin to deal with the criticism you will receive? "Obviously, I'm not going to have hate get to me. We have all been through it, right? So why would a couple people in a world with 7 billion people make or break me?"

This goes along with the previous question, Is there anything you are not looking forward to while being in this project group? "Honestly? I think members would try to one up another, trying to be in a spotlight. I'm not okay with that, as it would create drama in the group. But hopefully, that won't end up happening."

And lastly, do you have any goals you want to achieve with the group or is there anything you want to achieve on your own? "For Coalesce, hopefully we can inspire people from around the world to fulfill their dreams, whatever it may be. As for myself, I want to grow as a person into the best me I could ever be."
