ELABORATION:
He's the one to put his friends before himself because his friends are very dear to him. He'd rather worry about them before himself because it helps him feel safe and secure. Chanhyuk is also quite the daring fellow as he doesn't step down from a challenge. He'd be the first to step out with confidence even if he didn't know the outcome. He's also an independent kind of person. He can take care of himself and he'd rather keep it that way. And he doesn't do this system of depending on others unless if it involves L/I. Surprisingly, he's humble as well and he doesn't self-promote himself. He's the one to make himself seem lower than somebody else. Furthermore, Chanhyuk is the loyal type and doesn't betray a single friend. He doesn't do that shady because it proves that you're just a coward.
Chanhyuk is the type of guy who'd comment something like, "Wow you have great coordination." or "You have a great sense of direction." When he doesn't actually mean it. Depending on the situation, his sarcastic comments vary from situation to situation. Also, he's quite chill and doesn't like to interfere in any funny business or anything of that matter. He's just the type to lounge and listens to the conversation but he adds his own input on rare occasions. Connecting with his apathy, he's reserved. He doesn't tend to show his emotions when it comes to certain things but he's only a full blown out affectionate pup with L/I. Also, he only shows his emotions when he's with his friends or the rest of the group.
Being the "cold city guy" or whatever you call the stereotype, it matches along with his personality because he's genuinely not friendly. It takes Chanhyuk a while to warm up to some random stranger and accept them as an acquaintance. Other than that, Chanhyuk is possessive. He doesn't like sharing what's his. Literally, he isn't playing around so don't touch anything that belongs to Chanhyuk because he might break a few bones if you do. He's also a sneaky little rebel. He doesn't abide by other people's rules and follows his own. He's his own person so why should he listen to others anyway? Going on, Chanhyuk always has a grudge and it doesn't go away for a long while. Normally, the grudges continue to stack onto each other but luckily Chanhyuk hasn't or isn't bothered to do anything about it. Unless if by rare chance something makes him snap and he might do something that would not end up well. Also, Chanhyuk is not the one to show emotions but he tries to force himself to. It's not necessarily voluntary that he doesn't show emotions, it's more because he isn't interested most of the time.
BACKGROUND:
For as long as Chanhyuk can remember, he knows that he has a sense of hatred towards his parents. They were never there for him and they simply tossed him into the arms of his uncle, who gratefully took him in. Being under the care of his uncle, Chanhyuk had been ignorant of his powers due to his parents never telling him and his uncle wanted to keep him protected. His uncle would always lie to Chanhyuk and say that he was special and didn't have powers but that changed when one-day Chanhyuk was able to sense his uncle's chi. Ever since the discovery of his power, his uncle had reluctantly taught him the history of his family, which he had no interest in, but it's supposed that his family was known for being able to manipulate chi. Being the last generation his family had, Chanhyuk was meant to be the last Chi manipulator which is why his uncle wanted Chanhyuk to be protected at all costs.
Rather than obeying what his uncle said, Chanhyuk defied his uncle and did things his own way. Starting from his preteen years, he always wandered around and tried to use his power in a secluded area so he could independently train himself. It was going well until he got caught because he accidentally cut down a tree in a park due to him physically manifesting a projectile then it flying off somewhere. After that terrifying event, the person who caught him was a teacher at a school who taught students to become better wielders of their powers. The teacher suggested for the boy to join the school, but knowing Chanhyuk he did not enjoy hearing that idea. So, Chanhyuk refused but then he was forced to join when the teacher said he'll tell the cops about the incident.
So after convincing his uncle to send him to this peculiar school, Chanhyuk had started his teen years in this so-called magic school. After meeting the teacher again, the teacher requested for Chanhyuk to live under his care because he wanted to observe the boy's power more carefully. The boy didn't want to at first but the teacher got a hold of his uncle so now Chanhyuk was booted out of his uncle's house and had to live with this stranger. Through the teacher's training, he was able to strengthen his prowess and the teacher gave advice and tips on how to control his ability more better. Due to the rareness of his ability, the teacher recommended Chanhyuk to take a role within the kingdom. It was later revealed that the teacher was actually an important person from the kingdom which is why Chanhyuk is in the Grand Order. Although he wishes to not be in the Grand Order, he has no choice and has to fight invading creatures/beings.
LIFESTYLE:
Chanhyuk isn't really occupied with social groups or society's opinions. He's normally off training somewhere or he could be sleeping in one of the empty classrooms. Although he's a cold person, people still tend to flock to him and make conversations with or without him in them. Other than his school life, Chanhyuk goes to Muay Thai and Hapkido classes to build up his endurance. Overall, he doesn't really do much with his life.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Uncle | Han Jinwoo | 52 | After leaving the house to live with his teacher, Chanhyuk's ties with his uncle were cut but he still remembers everything his uncle did for him. His uncle doesn't try to contact Chanhyuk anymore and the boy doesn't know why but he respects his uncle's decisions.
Former teacher | Go Jungyoo | 29 | Being under his former teacher's care, he was able to control his ability better and honestly deep down inside Chanhyuk is grateful to Jungyoo but he doesn't show it. He has a more love-hate relationship with Jungyoo because Chanhyuk is difficult to handle at times. Even though Chanhyuk gives Jungyoo a hard time he still takes care of Chanhyuk as if he were his little brother.
Ex-girlfriend |Bae Gyuri | 19 | The two of them used to do a lot together such as exchanging secrets and stealing each other's first kisses. The reason they broke it off was that their relationship wasn't working out after Chanhyuk joined the Grand Order. For a seemingly perfect couple, they fought a lot and they finally decided to break it off but they still contact each other.
LOVE INTEREST:
An applicant is preferred but no love interest works too. If Chanhyuk were to love someone it wouldn't be obvious but he is subtly nicer to the person. Then if they get into an actual relationship, the only one who could really make Chanhyuk genuinely smile is his lover.

Gravity manipulation if chi manipulation is too strong or overpowered. He's able to manipulate an object's gravitational force and also able to create miniature black holes that can compress beings into oblivion.
