Style hana is more mature than her sister, but not in this aspect. she's really not good at fashion, and the most important thing for her when it comes to clothes is if they are comfy or not, often just wearing oversized shirts or sweaters with simple jeans and white sneakers. she barely wears anything else, and most of her shirts and sweaters have colors or cute prints on it, and she somehow manages to pull it off.

Calm and dry: no matter what happens, Hana will always try to stay calm. Her emotions seem filtered and softened. But the thing is, she's just really zen and not that excitable. At moments when others would jump from happiness, she would just smile and clap. When others shed bitter tears, she just looks down with watery eyes. She's very dull and can't see the magic in things, only the realistic facts, often ruining the mood.

Kind and helpful: even though she is so calm and dull, she knows that others can get affected by emotions and certain things much easier, so she tries to be kind all the time. She loves to make others happy around her and helps out whenever she can. Making others happy is also her own main source of happiness.

Absentminded and clumsy: Hana is not good at knowing her own power, and breaks a lot of things without intending to do so. She also often drifts off into her own thoughts, overthinking random things while she actually has to listen or do someting, often causing her to miss important notes and news because she's speculating about what could've possibly happened.

Anxious and overprotective: because of her motherly nature and what happened in the past, Hana became very concerned, worrying immediately when one of her cubs is out of her sight, always wanting to make sure that all of them are happy and okay. She watches over the velvet members and their friends like an angry mother lion, and she still babies them way too much, to the point it becomes annoying, even the older ones, it is just a habit of her.

Charmless and insincere: she might be a beautiful appearance, she really doesn't know how to take advantage of it. She gets really awkward in front of a camera and doesnt know how to act. She also at taking selfies. She's also not really a honest person, but she has a 'valid' excuse for that, she lies so people do not worry about her, and to appear better. When she was sick, she always used to say that she was fine, just so she didn't have to let her sister go to school alone.

background little hana was the first-born of a multinational pair of twins, with a japanese dad and japanese-french mom, but they were destined to grow up in japan, putting the priority on their father's culture while they grew up in the traditional town of kyoto. They were the only kids of their age that were not fully japanese, and got ignored a lot, so hana and her younger twin sister kei pretty much grew up on their own. They always had to go together to school, beause they lived in the outskirts of town, on a farm. Their family was to the poor side, and the sisters never really got much. Everything hana got, she immediately gave it to her sister when possible, because that made both of them happier. hana was always the calmer and more careful and mature one of the two, so she always had to look out for her little sister, and she spoiled and babied her a lot. hana was always really into music, but while she of course also listened to the regular preteen girls music, she also disrupted the calm town by blasting her hiphop music at max volume. While it annoyed many people, her little sister loved it. She always asked hana to rap, so to make her little ray of sunshine happy, hana made raps out of everything.

One day, when she was 11, a terrible event happened, that hana still dreams about until today, and changed her behavior. She was quite sick and ad a high fever, so hana stayed at home while kei went to school alone, it was a very safe and calm neighbourhood, so her parents allowed the little confident kei to go alone, after a lot of tantrums. Terrible idea, because kei never really looked around, and hana always had to watch out for incoming traffic on their way. Everything was fine, until the afternoon, when they got a call. While on her way home, kei had been hit by a car. hana and her parents freaked out, but it turned out to be better than expected. kei was going to be fine, but she'd have a weak back forever. Since then, hana refused to leave her sister alone, and when she was sick, she lied about it so she didn't have to let her sister go to school alone, while kei shrugged it off. When kei wanted to go audition to become a trainee when they were 13, hana decided to tag along to protect her sister. After some tries, they got accepted into fnc together. Other companies eiter wanted one or the other, but there was no way they would not debut together. It was fun and all in fnc, but back then, fnc was deciding on the line-up for aoa, and when they chose to debut aoa, hana and kei were deemed too young, being only 15 at that time, and they weren't really fit for the group fnc had in mind. hana and kei didn't want to wait for much longer, so they decided to switch fnc for sm, where they got accepted and welcomed with open arms, because they already had the experience and visuals, and who doesn't want to have twins in their group? they always create that bit more buzz and money. being at fnc was benificial, because they made a lot of friends, and were trained very well. the funniest thing though, is that both of them are crushing on a fnc boy as well. it's a twin thing.

Trainee life hana originally never thought of becoming an idol, but she didn't want her sister to go alone and got into fnc without any expectation, but she turned out to have amazing potential. She was the best female rapper of the whole company and she got a lot of praise. She was also quite popular and had some great friends, but in the beginning, she was really shy. when they didn't let her and her sister debut in aoa, they stayed for one more year, but fnc told them that it would still take a while before they would debut another girl group, advising them to leave the company. kei and hana did, and kei dreamed big and dragged her sister along to sm entertainment, where they got accepted immediately, because they had experience, looks and talent. they worked hard for another year and both got praised. hana also often helped out with other trainees, especially with rap. Because hana worked very hard and was so helpful and protective, she is a contender for the leader spot, of a unit only or maybe even of the whole group.

Personality Lee sanghyuk, better known as dawon of sf9, is noise, noise and more noise. He's the variety king, always cracking jokes and laughing. he's overflowing with positive energy and really hyperactive. people either think he's hilarious, or a serious pain in the . he is the total opposite to hana, being very excitable, but also really immature. he sometimes says way too much and blurts out things that he shouldn't say, he can't stay silent, even when it would be risky to say something. don't get close to him when you're having a headache because he'll worsen it with his loud voice and just make you want to leave. hana sometimes thinks he's so annoying since he's so clingy, dorky and really odd, but she can't help but always look for him. he spices up her life, while she calms him down, so when hana is around, it's a relief for the other members of sf9, because dawon sometimes calms down, but at other times... he gets even more excited when she's around. and that is really something, because it seems like he can't get more excited than he already is.

Love story hana and dawon met while training at fnc. a beautiful, foreign girl who was a bit shy, and an outgoing boy who wanted to meet everyone. fireworks guaranteed. no one expected they would get along so well, but somehow, it worked, like a magnet, only + and - can attract each other and stick together. dawon dragged hana along everywhere, making her meet more people and feel at ease in the company, also teaching her a lot about the foreign country that is korea. they soon became best friends, but they aren't always friendly, because sometimes they have their moments that they do collide after all. for example when dawon pranks her, sometimes hana likes it, but at other times she'll get mad and then it will go wrong, but they always make up quickly. when hana left fnc, dawon actually cried and he would call her at least once a day, but after hana's debut, he didn't call her daily anymore, thinking that she would be too busy. other trainees and idols at fnc either shipped them together or thought they could drift apart any time soon. dawon gets teased a lot about hana by s, and he always calls her his ideal type whenever they ask him, while hana is more careful, and dodges the questions.
