Just my annoyances

Okay. I'm going to say some really 'insensitive ' and whatnot or whatever you guys will call it after you read this. So if you're a hardcore army and really hate everyone who hates BTS, then you found the perfect person to scream, punch, and perhaps want to kill. So I'm warning Armies out there, don't read this if you don't want to become a murderer.

 

Sooooooooooooooo........

BTS. The new Hallyu wave. The Asian Billboard dudes. Yeah. With 2 million likes on Youtube and their new music video breaking records. Yep. Uh huh.

This must mean they have soooooooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch taaaaaaaaaaaalent!!!! Right? I heard so many good things about them, how funny they are, how good looking they are, and how talented they are. So, with my hopes not that high actually because I know how much fans exaggerate on their faves, I took a quick look.

To say that I was disapppointed is an understatement.

I couldn't understand why their songs were really that good, or their visuals, or their jokes were that funny. They were.......sorta like a downgrade from GOT7 to tell the truth for me.

So....... with that bad experience, I told myself, "Hey! Every idol group that I didn't really like in the first place, I grew to love them in the end after watching their weekly idol episode!" So I quickly went to find a weekly idol episode with BTS, and there were a few.

So, with high anticipation, I watched. And watched. And watched.

But I didn't laugh nor smile except when the situations were something, like, actually funny.

Moving on.

I tried to actually find a song that matches my taste for BTS and in the end really couldn't find one. In my opinion, they don't have really strong vocals, but use their best skills to it to make the music sound good, like Taeyang. They don't have strong vocals, but use it to their advantage and make the song sound decent. But....in the end it sounded whiny and sorta scratchy. Taeyang does that too, but at least he sounds....decent to my ears? IDK.

I tried and tried, and eventually just found WINNER and IKON and GOT7 and other groups and fell in love with them, but for some reason, not BTS.

I know how so many people support them cause "look how they're so big even though they aren't from the Big 3!" But....why are they that big?

And I'm sick of people saying how Rap Monster is good looking and not ugly and perfectly handsome. Okay, I understand. He's not ugly nor is he the most ugliest person in the world. But the thing is, considering Korean beauty, he isn't, like, handsome. And I'm not trying to be hypocritical. Many people say Daesung is ugly and I say "Fine." Cause it's their opinion. And I respect your opinion on saying Rap Monster is good looking, if that's truly your style. What I'm trying to say is, don't say it EVERY FREAKING POST YOU MAKE ABOUT HIM! (I'm talking about Instagram). Seriously, wouldn't you be annoyed that every post is about how beautiful someone is when you totally disagree with them?

Then there's Jin. Okay, so he's the visual I heard? I think he's good looking. And nice and yeah. But...........he's not a god. He's not a freaking hero that will cleanse your eyes. Nobody in the entire world will do that cause nobody is perfect. I used to be super biased to Jinwoo, cause......well. He's the visual. (I think there's a trend with people with the world Jin being the visual). But never, once in my life, have I ever said that Jinwoo will cleanse my soul and allow me to breath again. Cause I'm not super obsessed with him nor am I dedicating my life to him either. I'm a fan of his, not his worshipper. So please, ARMIES, calm down and stop the hype?

 

 

 

I'm super sorry if I offended (I shouldn't even put 'if', I definitely offended 10000000000 people) but this is my opinion and I wanted to share it with people. Sorry.

 

 

This was my first activity after a few months just ghosting around AFF. So, sorry if this was a bit abrupt and harsh. I apologize. I think I'm just cranky cause my English teacher loves hitting the back of my head and swearing at me. TT

Preach! The BTS hype is too much, I can't even stand them. Their fans are so immature and honestly it's so annoying seeing them all over social medias, saying bad stuff about other artist just to bring BTS up. Like that's seriously not cool, it's rude and disgusting. Honestly proud of you for speaking your mind and not caring about how others may judge you! Preachhhhh!!!!

Um. Not to derail from the main post, but your English teacher shouldn't be hitting you on the back of your head. Are you okay?

Also, yeah. The BTS hype is too much.

Same. I also TrY to listen their music but it just did not suit my taste. And it's so annoying when pop singer like troye sivan upload a photo and caption it like bts and we know that is behind the scene but still this annoying army always commented something like "oh my bts?". I was like, "girllll pls not here. Im here tryna to forget abt kpop for a minute." And at they also demand other artist to collab with their fav. It's not like I'm not try to like them, but I just can't.

about RM... yup. you're right. its true... he isn't a visual by all means in sk standard. tbh people are just over hyping them. the latest comeback.. where do I start??? i didn't like the song. some people on here (AFF) compared it to exo-power, which i didn't like as well but WHY? why are people so caught up in pitting BTS to every other idol group out there? when their music is so OBVIOUSLY a different genre. not to mention SOME of their fans... omg, the tales i have heard about how rude they are. I'm a monbebe and if someone had the audacity to blast BTS when monsta x is holding their world tour, someone will get slapped. i swear some fans have very little self respect they don't respect the other idols... i swear.

they get so heated when people voice out their OPINION, they forget to stop and think that people are different, they are bound to like different things and just that people who don't like BTS are "deaf". dude, that's offensive as man... ugh. this is what deterred me from liking BTS as much as I did in the past. granted i didn't watch their bangtan bombs, those things whatever they are called but I did watch and listen to their music. for a while it was good and great but seeing as the fandom is so ing toxic. i'd rather not stay.

I don't hate BTS, I think they have potential. I'm not a fan either, I'm a strong shawol and will never stray lmao. But that said, i once saw someone say bts had flawless singing and I was like "whaaaaat" because no they don't. They may be a biiiit too hyped for my liking really. But oh well, if they bring happiness to their fans then ok. ^^'

OOMMMMGGGGGG I AGREE WITH YOU SO MUCH BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT EVERYONE LOVES BTS AND IT'S RLLY ANNOYING LIKE I CAN'T WATCH ANY YOUTUBE VID (NOT EVEN KPOP RELATED) WITHOUT SEEING SOMEONE IN THE COMMENTS WITH A BTS MEMBER IN THEIR PROFILE PIC AND THEN SOMEONE ELSE REPLYING TO THEIR COMMENT SAYING THEY'RE AN ARMY AND GRRRRRR
BTS... well. I think they have potential. They're alright. But ofc they can never compare to Bigbang and it makes me quite sad that people think BTS is more popular or more influential than BB. Like just no. Shut it. I listened to their new song because I was forced to by my friend and I didn't like it. It just felt like I was watching any kpop boy band's MV. (I do have to commend their dancing tho, it's slick). I like some of their songs, especially Spring Day. But I don't like them as a group much. I really appreciate Bigbang for their artistry and yeah you may say BTS has artistry because they write their own songs too but something about Bigbang is just incomparable.
Also I noticed you were gone, I hope you've been doing okay...

ahaha, reading this i realized how much of a crazy fandom we are like.

the weekly idols with bts weren't their best shows, they hardly made me laugh and i'm a hardcore army. their newer stuff, like bts run or bts gayo, or bon voyage, are funny and full of good moments with the boys.

i'm also a fan of got7 and big bang, but i personally understand the hype with the boys. i think it's not only because they're not from big 3, it's also because their concept is unique? they discuss themes that are usually a bit taboo in the korean entertainment industry.

i respect your opinion, though, and when i first got into bts i thought that namjoon wasn't that good looking, but now he looks like a god to me :) i guess that's the way my style has changed since i started stanning.
