• ha rim is a difficult person to pinpoint she likes to put on a show but really want something else. She doesn't like to talk to strangers but if she has too she will be the most extroverted person around. she is polite, cute and soft in front of higher figures but is calm and easy-going around peers and friends. she doesn't like confrontation and leaves decisions to other people which makes her indecisive as well. She is secretly soft on the inside but doesn't like to be vulnerable so she doesn't show deep emotions much. she likes to take care of the people she holds close which she shows through the things she buys them or the favors that she does for them. what most people don't know but her enemies know that she is vengeful, cold, apathetic and rude. when something is done wrong towards her she wants revenge and will not feel accomplished until she gets it. She is able to compartmentalize her emotions making it easier to not feel things for people that she doesn't like.   
• To people that she cares for she is over-protective and possessive of them but not to the point where they can't make decisions for themselves. she accepts change but she doesn't like to accept that there are people that can taker her most treasured people away from her (another reason why she cares intensely for them). while ha rim doesn;t express it she loves intensely but is often scared of her own emotions and takes a while for her to come to terms with herself. 
• ha rim is always sarcastic and blunt. she always has something to say and has a difficult time keeping her smart comments to herself. she has a hard time tolerating stupidity and believes in the notion that people purposefully don't act according to common sense. she is competitive when it comes only to things that interest her like dancing, singing, and working. she doubts her talents a lot so she wants to beat those who are talented to prove her worth as well as to take the position that they had.

 

( background ) : Ha Rim and her older brother were born in Italy to full Korean parents. Their parents were married in Italy and decided that they should just live there. Her mother did not like her parent's in law much and felt unhappy. Ha Rim and her brother were basically raised in an Italian-Korean culture. At the age of 5, when her father was at work and her brother at his grandparent's house, Ha Rim's mother packed her bags and took Ha Rim with her. This was when Ha Rim learned that her parents were getting divorced and ever since then she disliked her mother.

She forgives her mother because Ha Rim knows that is how her mother is but she won't forget it. After the sad departure of her brother Ha Rim began to live in Japan with her mother. When she was still young Ha Rim would be forced to participate in pageants by her mother which she later learned was the only way they could make money for the first couple of years while living in Japan (7 yrs old). After finally standing up to her mother and wanting to be normal Ha Rim stopped and just went to school like a normal person which forced her mother to work. Her mother made it clear that she didn't like it but Ha Rim hated the pageants more. Ha Rim's mother would often leave Ha Rim by herself, leaving Ha Rim to come home from school to an empty house after school.

As a child Ha Rim would hate what her mother was doing to her and her father. To occupy herself Ha Rim would often watch music shows and try everything at school so she wouldn't have to stay at home by herself. Music was her only companion at the time. Ha Rim was too uncomfortable with strangers when she was young and would stick to her brother only after he promised not to leave her. Ha Rim since then, knew that music or anything related to the arts were like magic. As much as Ha Rim wanted to leave she did not want to leave her mother knowing that she would be even more unhappy (9yrs old).

At the age of 14, Ha Rim moved to South Korea to see her grandparents since her mother was laid off. In the beginning, it was hard for Ha Rim to communicate with her grandparents because of the dialect and her lack of Korean grammar. Living with her grandparents was not entirely comfortable since the house was small and could really give Ha Rim her personal space. A year later, Min Jun and Ha Rim were able to be together again and even connected more through dancing and she found that he had a talent for singing. In school, they were able to create a dance group which won competitions. This was when Ha Rim really saw her mother change from being unhappy to content since the prize was usually money. In order, to get more praise form her mother Ha Rim made it her goal to be able to provide for her mother since it made her happy.

One day when Ha Rim and her brother were sightseeing(really he was just dragging her around Seoul) they stopped at a cafe and Ha Rim took a window seat while Min Jun went to order since he wanted to practice Korean. While people watching out the window she seemed to attract attention. A business-like woman enters the cafe and approaches Ha Rim with the intention of giving her a card. By the time the woman got to the table Ha Rim was at Min Jun came and he started talking to the woman. The woman was there because she wanted them to be models for some things. Min Jun took the card and she left. He wanted to make sure it wasn't a scam so he went the first day with Ha Rim but told her to wait a block away. Once he found out it was legit he called her and she entered the building. Ha Rim really didn't want to do it but she didn't want to disappoint her brother so she just worked through it and then the money rolled in which made working a little more bearable. And thus began her modeling career and the discovery of her new side, the love of money. Ha Rim would work non-stop at times just to make sure that she was able to make enough money. She figured that more work = more money = happy mom, and a happy mom made her feel useful.

A year later (17) Min Jun begged Ha Rim to do the SM audition with him. It took 2 days before she gave in. They worked on the performance for 3 weeks and in the end, Min Jun was accepted since she didn't really apply. After a couple months of being a free-lance model, Ha Rim decided that she wanted to be like her brother and perform too so she auditioned for Several companies before getting accepted by Jellyfish(18 yrs old). Unfortunately, they only wanted her to work as a model under their company which she accepted because she would still be one step closer to debuting even if they only saw her face. After almost a year of being a trainee there, she heard through the grapevine that her brother auditioned and was accepted based on his talent evaluations which made her happy and sad at the same time. She made another goal to make sure that she surpasses her brother to make him proud and to make herself feel good. She had greed to be the beat her brother no matter how much she loved him.

( trainee life ) : Mira had a hard trainee life but then again who didn't. She did have a hard time trying to juggle her model hours with her trainee hours in the beginning so she took a hiatus for being a model after she was ranked in the lower percent during evaluations. Because of this, she would constantly hear that she only got in because of her face which was not what she wanted to be known for only. She also got into a lot of altercations in her first year as a trainee because of her brother but she had no regrets. after moving up in monthly evaluations she began to work harder until she was in the top percent but she wanted to be number 1.
