PERSONALITY Noelle is a surprise for those who have the patience to try and figure her out. Naturally, she is a guarded person. She is secretive, aloof, and vague. She doesn't give much information about her self and her answers are almost always short. She likes to make people work for it. She will answer questions but her answers are usually short and vague supporting her "mystery aura" even though all it does it annoy her friends and make her seem standoffish. She constantly wears a mask when she is in public making her seem as if she is this perfect cold city girl that will destroy you with a death glare. She expects people to be truthful but has a hard time trusting people due to her mother just leaving her and her father making several false promises. She grew up to not expect things from people that make promises because she doesn't want to feel disappointed. She became very cynical. Although, she will give people the benefit of the doubt (because there is hope in humanity). What people might notice about her through observing her is that she is sarcastic and easy-going. She doesn't make decisions easily so she usually leaves it up to her friends when she is with them or she takes a long (life) time. She is open to all things and is not opposed to trying something new. 

She is usually introverted and follows her head over her heart. However, there are times where she gets pent up energy and becomes a little more extroverted (she has no idea what sets it off) usually when she is forced to like speak publicly, interacting with customers, being at an amusement park, or doing something risky. It doesn't happen quickly it more like a subtle shift in personality. In those situations she knows that being communicative is the best and that is how she conducts herself. It doesn't take much for her to get excited so if you have a pet, cheesecake, or give her a stuffed animal you have easily gone on her good side. Even though Noelle comes off as cold she cares strongly for her best friends to the point where she could be considered possessive. She allows them to live their life and make their own choices but, when it comes to others trying to hurt her family or her friends she shuts them out. She likes to get revenge and will stop at nothing to get it. 

Noelle is confident in herself just not so much in her ability all the time because she is very hard on herself. She expects much out of herself and when something goes wrong she gets upset with herself. She is very self-conscious and feels as though every time she tries to do something it turns out wrong and then she loses hope for herself. 

STUDENT INFORMATION

UNIVERSITY LIFE Noelle started school late because she decided to teach English abroad through a teaching program after completing high school. She doesn't talk to many people that have the same major as her. She dresses casually every day for class but if there is a special occasion she usually carries a bag with a change of clothes with her (formal clothing makes her uncomfortable). She has afternoon and late classes because she has a hard time waking up early and her job is overnight. She only leaves her room to hang out with her friend Hiro, to go to class, to go to clubs, and to go to work. She goes to the orchestra club and attends meetings regularly while going to the animal rescue-based meetings occasionally (she always goes on their volunteer trips?). You will hardly ever see her walking around campus aimlessly. Her major requires her to read a lot and to write essays which she procrastinates on and stresses about later on. She tries to get the most important assignments done ahead of time but she usually does her work a few days before the deadline while on no sleep and on energy drinks since she hates coffee.

She does well in assignments but has a little trouble on tests which causes her to have a mini breakdown every time she has a test. She copes with school by shutting everyone and everything out giving her time to think of other options. She also goes on a baking binge which leaves her with too many pastries that she can't finish so she gives them to the member of the animal rescue-based club or her friends. She likes to have a good time but, she gets dragged around by Hiro a lot. You will never see her without Hiro, but you will see Hiro without her. She has three very hard professors out of 5. There is one mean professor that she does not like and has taken her class two years straight. This professor and Noelle challenge each other when Noelle submits her essays and research proposals.

Noelle leaves her dorm for class with barely 6 minutes to spare but she leaves her dorm with 20 minutes to spare. Noelle takes notes in class and studies at least once every two weeks or 3 days before a test. She doesn't have a study habit and she stays up late on days she doesn't have work either watching Youtube videos or working on assignments due for the class the next day. As much as she would love to be in her room Noelle has to be in the library to get her work done especially during the day.

She doesn't go to a party without either Hiro or Ga Eul with. She is not against having fun but she has to be in her 'extroverted mode' for her to actually dance and let her guard down a little. Noelle doesn't like the taste of alcohol so she mixes her own drinks but, she only drinks at parties where she feels safe because it takes a while for her to get drunk and she doesn't know her limit yet. She may seem like she doesn't care about her grades but Noelle tries not to fail. Her love life never interested her since she has been told by Hiro and Ga Eul that her standards are too high so she doesn't actively look for anyone.     

Noelle was not going to join any other clubs but she agreed to apply for LIT with Hiro, who in the end decided not to apply. At first, she was a little put-off but being apart LIT would satisfy her curiosity as well as get her closer to GaEul's ex.

• 21 | Akiyama 'Hiro' Masahiro | Harauma Miura | University friend - Finance & Economics Double major (Junior) | Strong-minded, optimistic, playful, erted, sweet, touchy | He likes to get under Noelle's skin and annoy her when they are in public. He has no concept of personal space and likes to try to get her to talk to others but she constantly gives him the death glare which sometimes works. She is also very sarcastic with him.

They are usually quiet if they are ever together. He is one of Hiro's friends.
  21 | Yoo Jonghyun | Ga Eul's Ex - Business Administration major (Senior) | fiery, passionate, immature, dedicated, active, confident | Noelle knows of his existence but he doesn't know that she is Ga Eul's friend. Noelle is fake polite with him in the presence of other people but, when it is just the two of them she is sarcastic and rude while he is snappy right back. They do not get along.

Q1: SO, HELLO! [Noelle], RIGHT? I'M SIWON, PRESIDENT OF THE LIT CLUB, HERE TO CONDUCT THE CONSULTATION. FIRST THING'S FIRST, HOW'S THE SEMESTER BEEN TREATING YOU? 
Same old same old. Surviving, in the beginning, overwhelmed with work in the next month and dying by midterms only to salvage whats left of you until the end of the year. So, since I'm not dead yet, I am good for now (said with fake enthusiasm but feels bored on the inside).

Q2: HUH, DON'T WE ALL. I'M QUITE SURPRISED ABOUT THE YEAR'S TURNOUT FOR LIT. NEVERTHELESS, THIS IS GREAT NEWS. TELL ME, WHY DID YOU JOIN LIT? WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS IT ABOUT?
I joined LIT because I'm a curious person (and because there is someone I need to find) and I need to open myself up a little (according to Hiro who dragged me here. I would rather be asleep). I think LIT is a social club where I can geek out without prejudice (and secrets).

Q3: WOW. THAT'S... INTERESTING... HUH. WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM ME, TAEYOUNG, THE REST OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD AND FROM LIT?
I expect a stress-free environment as well as a cohesive team that can get individual jobs done. (Not much really.)

Q4: THIS IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE STRAIGHTFORWARD, BUT. WHERE DOES LIT LIE IN YOUR PRIORITIES? WE HAVE ACADEMICS AND OTHER CLUBS, AFTER ALL. MAYBE LIST THEM FROM ONE TO THREE? AND UHM, WHY?
Because this will be my first time in LIT and I don't know exactly what it is about it will be on a 2 for now because I'm really curious about the club. Work and Classes are tied for a 1.

I would have to say that it is a toss-up between a siren, an elf, and hippogriff. A siren because why not. An elf because of Lord of The Rings, I want to know if they are as deadly as they don't look. A hippogriff because I would like to ride on and it looks like a nice companion.
