"the idol" || Meeting your idol, Hweyeon is all that you thought it would be. Her kind smile and understanding eyes, her random outbursts of thoughts or phrases when it made no sense. Hwayeon always tries to keep herself in check, from keeping her thoughts to herself to remiding herself she is on camera and can't say what comes to her mind.

"busan girl" || Girls from Busan are seen as tough characters, which where Hwayeon makes no sense. She couldn't even think of harming anyone let alone raise her voice. When she was appointed leader it made no sense, as does she. The other members didn't take her seriously especially since the vocal always smiled at everything they said. Thats when they found out why she was the leader, with a smile, her busan dialect and straight forward words made anyone freeze in place.

"kid" || Hwayeon was always good making friends despite her quiet nature, her bright smile always brought people to her. Despite her quirky habit of singing childern songs when someone says a word that correlates, she is fairly independent and likes it to remain that way. From taking on part-time jobs to handling group issues right away before they even form. Her fear of confrontation bringing out her anxious habits.

LSeo Hwayeon was born into a beautiful family, an only child. When she started going to school, she wanted to be friends with everyone. Soon having more friends than able to count she began playing the role of "the class clown". With her natural quirks and friendly nature, she became a pretty popular person at a young age. 

Hwayeon was not the best grades wise, she had to attend tutoring after school to even pass her classes. She picked up singing in her free time, her mother a music teacher added fuel to the fire in her heart. Singing became Hwayeon's favorite thing, being the weird girl with a great voice became her trademark.

She auditioned for Pledis Entertainment when she was in her last year of secondary school, passing she packed her bags and moved to Seoul. Once there she worked part-time jobs when she wasn't practicing or at school, keeping herself busy. She gained a few friends while a trainee there before in 2013 she decided to leave hoping another company would let her debut, which is when she came upon RBW Entertainment. She stopped working part-time jobs and focused on practicing, ending up in the second final line up of MAMAMOO but, was dropped for more training.

– "NU-EST Secret Member" is extremely close with the boys of Nu'EST since she trained with them, JR jokingly calls her their secret member since she always supports them
– "That One Crying Girl" she was gifed from a clip on Produce 101 Season 2, from after they announced the 11th member. She says its cause only one Nu'EST member made it.
–"Long Time No See" has trained for a long time, and gets really emotional when they talk about their trainee days.

– close friend "dad" :: kim jonghyun "JR" (22) / Nu'Est's leader / kind, observant, caring / the two automatically clicked when they were trainees, he helped her with dancing when he could while she was brightened his mood. After she left, he gave her a tearful goodbye but, held back with a smile. As the boys continued promoting, he became a dad figure to her.

– father :: seo hyungwoo (45) / Office Worker / blunt, observant, prideful / the two aren't very close, he is still against her pursuing music.

trainee life.  

In 2011, she joined PLEDIS. Meeting the boys of NU'EST and some of the girls of Hello Venus. Between practicing at odd hours, working part time jobs to pay fees and live in her small apartment and going to school, she wasn't all in. Practicing got harder for her to do without being sent to the hospital, with the help of Jonghyuna and Dongho she would start improving. Till this day she will never not tell people about how they saved her back then. She would sleep and hour at a time for two years, after the boys debuted she felt alone with no one for a year. After another trip to the hospital, she decided to leave PLEDIS for herself. 

After auditioning for tons of companies, she was accepted by RBW. She felt at place, as much as she missed the others she enjoyed where she was. She quit her part time jobs to focus of debuting, finally getting her chance with SOUL.

what is your ideal type. "hm. Someone who can take charge." She said, looking off into the distance. "Like a true Busan Guy." A bright smile, as they asked to pick someone. "There are going to be rumors once I say this. Kang. Daniel."
if you were a boy, what member would you date. "Myself." She said, pointing at herself with a smile and a light laugh. "Fine, if not myself "Dad", her jokes are funny."

what is the best way you relieve stress. "Something I use to do as a trainee was watch childern shows, like Pororo or other cartoons." She laughs at herself. "It gets rid of whatever your thinking of and you get into the show."
what is your favorite music genre. "I really like Hip Hop and R&B" Hwayeon smiled brightly at the thought of some of her favorite songs.

what artist would you like to collab with?. "DEAN. DEAN SUNBAENIM. PLEASE." She pleaded scaring the interveiwer.
