Hello all, god damn it's been forever since I've made a blog post ._. well here's the thing, I've tried making some in the past but every time I would finish, this damn proxy server wouldn't let me and it ticked me off to no end because then I couldn't post and would lose everything I wrote. I will triple make sure that won't happen this time since this has very important updates that I must make known to all that are still around XD

First: This is the most important. I will be leaving asianfanfics in the near future. This is kinda complicated to explain because I'll be gone but I'll also not be gone at the same time. Basically I'll only be on here for certain reasons.

     1. Puppy Love will most likely be my last story I post on here. I'm debating on whether or not to put my extremely long upcoming exo fic Bound to the Maze on here or just making it a Wattpad exclusive, but I'm leaning more towards not doing it. I will only post it here if people acknowledge that they want it. It will be a long lasting story since there will be about 4 parts and around at least 20-25 chapters each part. But for the most part, right now Puppy Love will be my last work on here. Anything else that is currently on here that is not completed, I will be posting elsewhere, mainly Wattpad, and mini stories like Puppy Love, Pocket Full of EXO, etc, will also be on Tumblr and maybe AO3, but to be honest, I'm not digging AO3 too much. I'm also considering on whether or not Bound to the Maze will be posted there too.

     2. Since Requiem for a Dream is a cowritten story, I'll still be around on here for that story only here on aff. Again, anything else like Prince's Maiden will continue to be updated on Wattpad only.

     3. I still might post blogs but I wouldn't count on that being often. I'm not going to deactivate or anything, I'll still be on here all the time to read and check any comments or messages if I get any. Stories that are already completed here will remain available here and elsewhere.

Second: Here are the reasons why I will be leaving.

     1. I am weak here. Lemme elaborate. I was always known as underrated here and the competition is too insane on aff. I never, literally can never, get a god damn bid for story promotion and it's been driving me up the wall and I've had enough.

     2. This is basically a continuation of my first reason. My work is struggling here and are all basically flops and it's only gotton worse. Even while I Know You Like Me was still around, on aff it lost readers and comments declined. I Needed Her sadly did absolutely awful here but did great everywhere else I posted it. The only work of mine that seems to be given a damn about was Every Rose Has its Thorn which did well here and on the rest of my writing platforms. Human Again is technically postponed for the time being since the artists are underrated internationally and therefore isn't doing well but I have yet to take it down here (it's been taken down on Wattpad already though). And Paparazzi was sadly canceled due to the lack of help and it being on hiatus for over a year. I hope to bring it back soon but like I said above, it won't be here. If and when Paparrazi comes back, it will be on Wattpad, AO3 and a sample will be posted to Tumblr. Even Puppy Love, which won the poll for next upcoming story has basically flopped here on aff (it's doing great on tumblr tho, thanks tumblr Bunnies), and there's no chance it will improve with only 2 updates to go for it.

     3. Basically everyone I talked to on here ignores me now for some reason.

     4. In a nutshell, I'm kinda done with wasting my time here.

Okay, third: On the upside, I Needed Her has officially become a published book which is why a majority of the story was taken down, so now it's only a sample.

Overall, it was a really fun ride, I'll still be around for Requiem, Puppy Love will be completed here, and I'll come on here for other things, I just won't be publishing anymore of my works here. If you want to continue following my works, I will be mainly on Wattpad under the same username (diamondelf193). Literally all of my stuff will be on there while only select stuff will be on Tumblr and AO3 (both the same username, diamondelf193). Big upcoming stories are on the way so I am trying to keep an organized schedule for them. Puppy Love will be completed soon, then I will update the Prince's Maiden at least one more time to see where it goes readers and comments wise. I'm still debating on whether or not to complete it publicly since it will also be a real book, so I'm trying to decide whether to update one more time and leave the posted chapters as the sample, or fully finish it to see what y'all think of the entire story and then basically do what I did with I Needed Her. I think I'm leaning on the first option since I have other important things to post afterwards.

Basically,

1. Finish up Puppy Love

2. Update Prince's Maiden

3. Start outlining and planning the first part to Bounded to the Maze and have its first update in either late fall or early winter

4. prepare the MAMACITA sequel (not sure when it will officially come though)

5. The next summber mini fic will definitely be Pocket Full of EXO no doubt about that.

Keep in mind that I am in college and I also have a job and I also still do youtube so I have a busy life and get writers block often so I still tend to procrastinate.

SO

I will still be writing, I just won't be doing it here anymore, excluding Requiem for a Dream and Puppy Love until their completion.

Thank you so so soooo much to those who've shown their support over the years. I can't believe I've been here since the beginning of 2014. Thank you for reading and commenting and discussing, I'm happy to have chatted and befriended all those I have here on aff, and I hope to see you in the future to support my even better works! It really was a fun ride, but also stressful and pretty much unfulliling/unrewarding XD But still, thanks for the experience, and again, I'll still be on here for basically anything else except for publishing new stories. Next Prince's Maiden update will be on Wattpad only!
