APPEARANCE —
• Looking at Youngseo, you'd immediately see the difference between her and your typically prefered korean beauty. For one, the girl doesn't exactly fit the "standards" of her generation. She stands at a height of 161cm and weighs between 141 lbs to 147 lbs- a little bit shorter and heavier than what people are used to. In addition to this, Youngseo does not have the desired milky white skin but a rather warmer tone- which she is pretty satisfied with, along with her clear complextion. The rest of her features are satisfactory; clear hazel eyes, a high nose, and plump lips. The only thing that gets to Youngseo is her rather chubby cheeks, which emphasizes her current weight. To cover this, she usually has her medium lengthed, caramel colored locks (naturally dark brown) flowing freely.
 
• Now other things to take note about Youngseo is her mild scoliosis, which means that one of her shoulders is lower than the other. In this case, it's her right, although it isn't that noticeable as what you'd see online. The deformity does however bother the girl from time to time, even if she isn't doing any strenuous activity. This is especially felt at her lower back area. Other than that, the girl's body is pretty much normal. Her limbs are in tact, with a little more baby fat than desired; her torso is proportional to her body- with a little more baby fat as well. Now Youngseos hands and feet are somewhat opposite; she's got rather pretty hands, quite slender for her weight; her feet however, are rather wide and flat. Aside from this being another one of her insecurities, it's one of the reasons why the girl isn't into sports much, because she usually ends up falling over and hurting herself- so she'd rather stick to DIY projects. Although, she could try out for swimming because her feet kind of resembles flippers- if only she knew how to swim.

FASHION SENSE —
• Despite initially being born and raised in a place where fashion isn't exactly a priority, Youngseo has developed her own sense of style after living near the country's capital for a few years up to the present. She's also gotten inspiration from looking up magazines and other people she knows personally. Youngseo basically mixes up shirts and pants mostly, which ends up with her getting the 'colorful basics' as you will. Of course, she's got to work around her body type, so she rarely wears shorts, skirts, and dresses- even if she does love them. If she does wear any of those, she'd make sure that it has slimming effects on her body. So vertical stripes are okay- as well as small prints, darker colors are a must, not so much with the bulky layers but long cardigans are fine, highwasted or tailored skirts, always focus on the waist.
 
• As for accessories, Youngseo likes pairing her outfits with hats rather than headbands, small bags rather than backpacks (although she has a 'the north face' travelling bag from a thrift store), and thicker belts. She has about 4 staple shoes and sandals that she likes to wear namely: adidas originals superstar, white vans, black sandals, and black chucks. Her fancier shoes are sponsored by her cousin, who lends them to her when she's around the apartment for a visit.
 
• Most of Youngseo's clothes came from either thrift stores, cheap online sites, sponsered by her half sister, or hand-me-downs from her mother.

ELABORATION —
For every positive trait that Youngseo has, there will always be another part of her that contradicts this. She is in a sense, a walking opposition of her own self however, she is trying her best to correct the mistakes she catches herself doing or is told about. These parts observed of her ranges from excessively or moderately exhibited emotions, movement, and thoughts.
 
To begin, Youngseo has been described as your resident "flower child" in more than one occassion due to how closely she resembles one. Aside from the fact that she'd exude an innocent feel and mellow exterior, the female has been described to be rather loving, sympathetic, and a natural nurturer. However, just as mentioned earlier, these traits has their corresponding negative side to which a few people have voiced out. Now although Youngseo is full of love and is capable of sharing such love to the people around her, there are times where her affections have been too much. Some people who've been with or around the dark haired girl, would initially say that she's rather clingy, bothersome, and to some degree- stupid. They just couldn't understand how a person could be that open to other people, even to those she isn't exactly friends with- which brings us to the people Youngseo is actually close to. In all honesty, there is some truth to how "stupid" or gullible this girl could get, and this is coming from the those who holds her dear. The reason why they'd call her such a word is because of how unselfish or altrustic the teenager is, to the point that she may have already been taken advatage of. Though it isn't clear if whether or not Youngseo is aware of that fact, there is a huge possibility that she is- although she's too sympathetic and soft-hearted to do anything right. She is after all nurturing, and has the tendency to push herself to commit to a specific cause or person for it to grow and develop. The gesture just gives a sense of joy to Youngseo, especially if her efforts are paid off by the other's success. Of course to defend this, the female would express that she is just being open-minded, and would always be the person to give other people a chance- where her usual "innocent until proven guilty" motto and "don't judge a book by it's cover" motto would usually come to play.
 
Now Youngseo lives by these quotes, and would almost always not listen to other people when they "warn" her about certain people or things because she trusts in herself- or her gut instinct at least. She's very intuitive and whenever she listens to herself, she's always right. Save for when maybe she's hungry or lacks sleep, but that feeling at the pit of her stomach is almost always right. Despite this however, there are times when the girl listens to herself too much and not so much of other people who are more experienced than her, which gets her in both trouble and hurt. This is bad, considering that Youngseo is a pretty emotional girl- some could say over emotional. She gets attached to things and people easily due to her sympathetic nature, and so the slightest display of anything remotely sad would already have tugged at her heartstrings. Those random videos on facebook about family or dogs? She cries, every time. So since the teen has been introduced as someone who mostly relies on her emotions, it wouldn't be surprising to know that she's lowkey pessimistic and rather anxious, mostly in situations regarding herself at least. These traits stems from the girl's tendency of being too idealistic, of seeing and wanting things to be placed in a positive light, to the point of fault. Youngseo hopes for things to be different but then it turns ouot the opposite, which then registers in her mind the next time she hopes for the same thing to happen. Her pessimissm turns to anxiety, which then would add to her depression; which if worse comes to worse, may trigger her condition. Of course, these parts of her didn't just pop up out of nowhere. They've grown from when she was a child, from when her condition started to bother her on a daily, 'will it come back?' 'what if i don't make it next time?' 'i hope it goes away' and so on. But again, Youngseo was never the type of voice her problems but instead, would show nothing but her bright self to the people around her, just so they would've have to fuss and worry for her.
 
BACKGROUND + EVERYDAY LIFE —
[ General ] Nineteen years ago, on June 28th, a precious baby girl was born into the Han family. She had been the couple's first child together, but Mr. Han's 2nd. This means that yes, Mr. Han had a first family but no, Mrs. Han's side isn't at a disadvantage.This only means that little Youngseo has an older sister who lives far away with her own mother (and possible step father). 3 years after their daughter's birth, another baby boy was introduced to the famiy. Now the Han's weren't exactly well off, they're just able to make meet's ends in addition to their daughter's maintenance. Mrs. Seo owns a store that sells souvenier items, which she designs and manages; while Mr. Seo is a man who helps during medical missions, which doesn't really give him much because of it's "pro-bono" tendecy. 
 
[ Growing Up ] Now Youngseo proved to be a healthy and lively child up until her 4th birthday, when the little girl got into an accident at home. She was unintentionally left in the bathroom alone, when she slipped and hit her head on the metal faucet that left her unconscious on the tiled floor. Nothing wrong was immediately seen in Youngseo's records but after her release, a week later, her condition got worse. It started out with her staring off into space, seemingly out of it and unaware of her surroundings most of the time. Then it went to becoming an upset stomach and dizziness. Finally, after about a month since she left the hospital, Youngseo experienced her "first" seizure. She was immediately sent to the hospital and there it was revealed that the little Han has acquired epilepsy, due to the head trauma she experienced a month before. Growing up with such a condition proved to be rather difficult for the child and family because the Hans felt like they should protect their first born while still giving her the luxury of experiencing a "normal" childhood. School was school, Youngseo was one of the well received students with good grades and a lot of friends despite her condition. Though she did (at times) receive special treatment and sympathy from the other students when she did get episodes at school, which happened about 4 times between elementary and middle school. The girl moved away from Jeju however once she reached high school and by that time, her episodes had grown less frequent than before. 
 
[ Move ] Youngseo had decided to move in with her half sister due to her parents and sibling. The girl was about to enter highschool, that in addition with her medications are something her parents could barely afford- what more that her sibling's entering middle school as well. So with all her convincing prowess, the girl was able to persuade her parents to letting her stay with her half sister. With this, her parent's expenses would lessen because they wouldn't really need to worry about her education and medication; the couple would also be able to focus on their second child. Youngseo on the other hand will be able to experience life outside of Jeju, in addition to getting close with her half sister. Also, she'd be able to get away from the people who'd been mean to her during middle school, and she heard that the new one she'll be attending was fairly nice to their students. So Youngseo's basically got high hopes for her future in the capital. Once Youngseo moved in with her half sister, things weren't really as smooth as she'd expect. Incheon wasn't exactly close to her school so the girl had to commute everyday. In addition to this, her half sister was still starting out so the money she earned wasn't really enough to feed the both of them- so Youngseo had to take a part time job. Of course the girl found it fun, because at least she gets to do something other than school, it was of course rather stressful as well. This continued on without a hitch but again, Youngseo felt like a bother towards her half sister, especially when she was about to enter college. This prompted the girl to look for  a place to say around the capital, somewhere cheap and possibly allowed pets.
 
[ Currently ] As of now, Youngseo is trying her best to get through her first year in college. It's currently her main priority, not so much with her condition just because it's been a while since she's got her 'episode'. She's also got to deal with her part time job, which isn't so bad. The girl works at a ceramic store around Insa-dong, Seoul, which luckily she's able to sneak in Junior whenever the 'mean' manager's away. It's not like the owner refused to have Junior in, it's the manager who keeps getting all ruffled.  Also, as long as there aren't any customoers around, she could always work on her assignments in the shop. So, aside from school and her part time job, Youngseo would mostly be seen (or unseen) within the Hwang complex, going through youtube where she'd work on her mini projects. Sure she may be friendly and loves spontanious trips outside, but she's still basically an artsy homebody who loves making stuff from scratch. Besides, Junior would always act like a baby if ever he wouldn't be able to go with her outside, so she'd rather just stay home. (schedule)

RELATIONSHIPS —

• best friend - park choonhee (19)  - college student - ambitious, conservative, practical, helpful
   Youngseo and Choonhee go way back- as in back in Jeju. They've been friends since the beginning of elementary school up until this day. They go to the same University as well, with courses somehow relating to each other but still both in arts. The only difference is that, Choonhee lives in a different apartment with her twin brother instead of a pet.
 
   Ever since moving to Seoul a few months before the beginning of first semester, Youngseo and Choonhee would almost always meet up with each other at Uni or over the weekend. They'd usually just hang at a cafe, restaurant, or each other's places while they'd do just about anything: homework, talk (in their dialect), DIY, sleep, or binge watch their favorite shows. They'd also always be each other's designated 'I'm texting you so I don't look awkward here' or 'the prof isn't here yet' buddy. So yes, they're basically two peas in a pod.

• friend - hwang minhyun (22) - landlord of hwang complex - caring, generous, serious, quiet  
   Youngseo met Minhyun when she was looking for a place to stay that's [1] close to her university, [2] has fair rent, and [3] a place that allows animals. It was somewhere a few blocks away from the complex, and the male found the troubled girl in a cafe looking disgruntled as she held her face with both hands. She was staring at a newspaper with red markings on it, most of which were big 'X's above black and white. He approached her cautiously for confirmation and that's when they started talking and eventually exchanged numbers for Youngseo to contact later on.
 
   Minhyun and Youngseo generally became friends because of an embarrassing encounter with the girl's cousin. The interaction left an in impression on Minhyun, which would later have him checking up on Youngseo now and then. Youngseo would be thankful for his visits but is always apologetic whenever he does, so to compensate for his efforts, she'd give him some treats she's baked or candy she has stalked up. Their other interactions include greetings at the hallway and small talk whenever they bump into the same cafe after class.

   This neighbor is fairly new to the complex, at least, that's how they were introduced to each other. Now the two girls quickly get along for a number of reasons. One, the other has a pet of her own who's so much of a sweetheart as his owner. Two, the new commer is pretty much a lovely person who you wouldn't think have problems of her own. Eitherway, she's one of the few people who is welcoming of Youngseo's rather clingy personality, and would usually visit each other when they have time.

   Youngseo and her sister aren't as close as you'd think, but they're civil. One of th reasons why the two can't get as close as they could, despite living with each other for five years is because of the fact that the older is almost always away. If they were in the same space however, sometimes they'd do small talk but it'd end up being awkward. Although it's like this between the sisters, there's still that unspoken love between the two, and they'd show it through little genstures like little notes, food, and encouraging texts to each other.
 
   Jemi "lives" with Youngseo in the complex as well, having her home in incheon rented out for the time being. Though she isn't always at the complex because of her job. However she does return every weekend, and has asked Minhyun to watch over Youngseo when she isn't around.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO HWANG COMPLEX? — 
Youngseo opened to speak but she was actually still thinking of her answer. Embarrassed that she may have looked stupid from the get go, she faintly laughed at herself before answering. "I was actually looking for a place to stay. Somewhere near my university and work place, that had a fair price on it. Initially, it was so I wouldn't be a bother to my half sister but she insisted to go and rent the place with me."
 
DO YOU LIVE ALONE? —
The brown haired girl shook her head but after thinking she nodded, then shooked her head again before rasing both her hands in front of her with a worried expression. "Sorry for the confussion. I live with my older half sister- technically. But she's almost always away and would usually be back with me at the complex over the weekend. So, it's almost like I'm living alone."
 
WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT OCCUPATION? OR ARE YOU IN SOME SORT OF SCHOOL? —
"I'm currently a freshman at Korea National University of Art, which is very exciting. I've also got a part time job near there, in a ceramics store. There usually aren't a lot of people so, I'm able to balance school and work- and life lol." Youngseo laughs at the last part but clears after.
 
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PETS? —
Youngseo's face brightens at the mention of pets. "We have cats at home? But they aren't exactly ours, it's more like they come to us as a stop-over before heading out again then coming back. I only have Junior with me, really."

REASON FOR ADOPTING — Youngseo adopted Junior after she rescued him from a bunch of drunk men. Later on, he'd proven to be of great help whenever her "episodes" comes back- even without extensive training.

PERSONALITY —
• Park Jinyoung is overall a very reserved person, mostly due to the way he's lived life up till now. Because of his situation, in addition to the fact that he is what people would call a "breedless dog", things were rather rough for him and those close to him- be it in any form he finds himself being in. This developed majority of Jinyoung's traits, and they're not all good.
 
• The first thing you'd notice with the male is his cautiousness towards people. Sometimes his decision to stay away from others or situations, and his growing suspision of the human race, has led him to become any school's resident mystery guy or weirdo. Of course, these comment doesn't faze him. In fact, he'd outright agree with some people confronting him about it and add that he'd rather observe them from afar- which would add to his undesired status. True enough, because he's usually left alone, Jinyoung is able to discern people and situations from afar without getting himself involved in anything so quickly and illogically without his consent. This would also save him from any possible danger that his "race" have been facing for decades, in addition to betrayal and other possible heartaches. Due to this, Jinyoung would sometimes turn a blind eye towards certin situations, especially if it means saving his own arse or those he's extremely close to.
 
• Now despite all these seemingly selfish acts, the guy's still got his fair share of redeeming qualities. Jinyoung may be, by far, the most patient person you'd get to know. Nothing much gets under his skin because he believe that he's already heard and experienced a lot for a person who's barely lived past 25. That is if it's anything related to him. If any insult or bad situation has something to do with anyone the male's close to, then it immediately becomes his problem. This is because of his own level of loyalty and devotion towards people he deems worthy of. He would do anything for them, sometimes blindingly, just a long as his trust is kept. To top everything off, despite acting like he knows everything about the world- he honestly doesn't. He is, in fact, as clueless as any normal 23 year old when it comes to a lot of things. Actually, he's much more innocent and inexperienced as your average 16 year old male nowadays, which is kind of pure and precious- and stupid.
 
FIRST MEETING —
• when did she first meet her pet? what was it like?
- The first time Youngseo met Jinyoung was back when she was 15 and he was 19. Now despite being from the same city and school for a certain period, they have not once been acquainted- though Youngseo could vaguely remember stories about a certain senior in their school from when she was younger.  Anyway, a year after settling in Incheon, Youngseo went back to Jeju for a visit, and that's when the two met each other.
 
[It was summer vacation when Youngseo was able to get back to her hometown of Jeju with her sister in tow. Since she and her family hadn't seen each other for a long time, they'd decided to visit the sea for some fun. While everyone was busy, the teenager ventured the area by herself, backpack with her just in case. Not far from where their rented cottage was a bunch of drunk men were celebrating at their own place. Youngseo was careful not to disturb them and slowly tried circling around them, when something caught her eye- or her ears. From where she stood, the female could hear faint cries and howls from behind the rented cottage and, knowing the nature of the area, Youngseo dreaded for the worst. Before she knew it, the young girl had found herself face to face with a cage full of the drunkards "meal"- three puppies or better known as nureongis. Not far from where they were, a wheel with some fire and what seemed to be freshly cooked soup was boiling. Youngseo's stomach churned but she tried to focus, she had to do something to save the dogs. Mustering up all her courage, the female checked to see if the coast was clear before approaching the cage. Being careful not to scare the pupppies any further, Youngseo hushed and cooed them as she reached out, to which the older of the three moved in defense. The girl withdrew her hand before explaining that she's there to help. She reached out for the smaller puppies again and this time, the older understood. Youngseo carefully placed the pups in her backpack (it was a big backpack) before turning for the older puppy. The girl could feel that there was something wrong with him but she couldn't see just exactly what was wrong with him. With a soft voice, Youngseo cooed him and spoke sweet words: "I know you won't understand me, but i'm really sorry about what happend to you friend, mom, dad, or sibling over there. I'm sorry I didn't arrive earlier but please, let me help you." Seeing as how the pup loosed up to her words, Youngseo smiled and reached out for him carefully. She was about a few feet away when she heard one of the drunk people yelling for the dogs, to which she quickened her pace and never looked back.]
 
- After the incident, Youngseo arrived in her cottage with 3 scared puppies and a bunch of confused adults. She smiled guiltily and explained the whole situation, which somehow appeased some of them. A few days later, the puppies were supposed to be given to the pound but Youngseo and her sibling opposed to the idea. Instead, one of the puppies were given to a classmate who was looking for a dog to adopt, and the other puppy was given to her teacher. All was left was a weak Junior, to whom Youngseo had grown attached to, despite not knowing a single thing of taking care of a dog.
 
- It had been awkward and hard at first, taking care of Junior, especially in their sitution. Youngseo was a dog owner newbie, while Jinyoung was weak and didn't exactly plan to be adopted in the first place. Although he did plan on experiencing something 'different', he didn't think it'd be in that sense. So when Youngseo decided to take Junior with her to Incheon, the recovering male decided to go with whatever was happening. The two didn't get close however, not until about three months since the incident- when Jinyoung experienced one of Youngseo's "episodes" first hand and he felt something he hadn't for a long time, concern and fear for someone other than himself.
 
PREVIOUS INTERACTIONS —
• Youngseo would usually be all over him. When she's doing homework (or any type of work at home) and she sees Junior just laying there, she'd go to him and kiss his forhead at least twice before getting back to work. This happens every 30 minutes at least. She also loves bothering Junior by poking his paw or waving her hand around his face just so he'd follow it, before patting him on the head. The girl generally loves playing with Junior whenever she isn't doing anything, or on rare occassions when he himself asks for it. 
 
• Youngseo would also walk Junior once a day or whenever she can, mostly because he's almost always cooped up at the complex so she's making sure he stretches his legs and exercise (except for when she brings him to work with her). The girl also has this habit of talking to him with a baby voice; most of the things she says are: "Aww good boy, Junior~" "Did you eat already~?" "Are you sleepy~?" etc. There are times however when she talks to Junior with a normal voice, as if talking to a friend whenever something's bothering her. She does this because somehow, she feels like Junior's actually responding to her even if "He doesn't understand a thing I'm saying." Oh and another thing, there are times when Youngseo would just randomly take her clothes off (when she comes home from work or school) right in front of Junior- to which he'd either hide his face or run away in the next room.
 
CURRENT RELATIONSHIP —
• what happened after she figured out her pet was actually a boy?
- The first thing she did was cover her lady parts, mostly because all the memories of her changing in front of him came rushing back. Of course, she did notice that Junior- or Jinyoung, would hide or run to the other room every time, but still. "You didn't see anything, did you?" Was the first thing she asked, to which Jinyoung just laughed out loud. He'd actually expected for the worst but then he realized, it was Youngseo. The male did receive a glare for laughing but she still asked the question, firmly this time, as she tightened her grip on her lady parts. He answered with a shake of his head and a fond look after.
 
- After everything's been revealed, the two's realtionship took a dip. Jinyoung was very much happy that he's finally able to be himself around Youngseo but the girl- wasn't really feeling it. I mean, she didn't detest the idea that the puppy she's "raised" and loved was actually an older- quite good-looking guy. It's just that, she's now feeling a little awkward and confused. For one, she treated Junior as a child but as Jinyoung- she didn't really know. Though as time passed, Youngseo's view on Jinyoung starts to change little by little, from child to- possible lover? Although generally that idea just gives the girl goosebumps. Friends is probably the best solution for them, right?
 
- Now after knowing of Junior's- Jinyoung's true identity, Youngseo decided to establish a few rules. (1) Jinyoung no longer needs to constantly be in his doggy form, however he needs to 'go back' when Choonhee, Minhyun, Jemi, or anyone else decided to make a surprise visit in the apartment. (2) Jinyoung could no longer sleep with Youngseo in her room, to which the male understands completely. (3) Jinyoung is free to leave the room and venture out when he's bored, just as long as he tells Youngseo where he's going beforehand and that he'd definitely come back. 
 
* Little did Youngseo know that, after starting college and constantly being away, Jinyoung had already found his way around the area. When the girl would leave for school, he'd sneak out of the complex and roam around. Where'd he get his clothes? Let's say that Junior was just a naughty little dog who liked taking items hanging around drying lines. He had to go buy underwear tho, using the spare change laying around the complex. Anyway, this was also how Jinyoung was able to keep an eye on Youngseo for a while at the University and sometime her work, if he wasn't allowed to go with her. All these, Youngseo finds out as little bits after the confession- which actually softened the blow. Because it explained some moments where Youngseo felt like someone was watching her, and how Jinyoung looked so familiar.

FINAL WORDS —
• hi there! so i really love this idea and yeah, I hope my character's okay!
• Also, to make things clear; Youngseo has epilepsy and experiences small to large scale seizures every now and then. Her small seizures includes stiffness in her lowebody and twitching in her upper body, which results in her usually falling to the ground and hitting herself on the floor. Large scale epilepsys just has her falling to the ground and unable to speak, mostly convulsing until she passes out.
• She's also been recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, mostly due to stress and her recurring seizures, which messes with her head and overall personality. This overall gives her experiences of depression in one moment, and mania the next.
• The puppies that Youngseo resqued, along with Junior, are not hybrids. They're really just puppies who Jinyoung tried to protect but was beaten by the drunk people before he got to save them.
 
SCENE SUGGESTIONS —
• the first time Youngseo dresses in front of Jinyoung
• maybe the neighbors decided to meet up with their pets? like a little playdate
• when Jinyoung was left at home and the phone continually rings. he suddenly gets nervous so on the second call he decides to answer it, only to be informed that Youngseo had one of her "episodes" at the university and needed someone to come get her
• i'll add more if i think of something good (btw, are these all in dog form or can some be in human form?)
