Should I ask for permission?

As some of you guys know, I'm making earrings and necklaces and key charms with kpop logos and faces, etc like the 24K earrings I have in my album

So I want to sell those and my mother's best friend owns a store and an online store and says to protect myself from lawsuits I should ask the labels for permission and ignore the fact that there is a lot of fanmade stuff online and probably 90% of the to no one has permission to sell those. Well, I asked Jason to use the aff logo because it's his community and it's smaller than whole fandoms and more reasons. Those fanmade merch products wouldn't hurt big entertainments (I hope) since they sell a lot of their official merch and albums and such anyway but aff is another thing. So I got Jason's permission to use the aff logo and am working on proper designs right now, we will have a test run and if it works well we will go into partnership :) yay, aff merch!

But since I also want to sell kpop stuff I am really not sure about the permission part ...  what do you guys think?

I think you should ask just to avoid getting a lawsuit. Plus like you said you like selling kpop. With the companies permission you become a trusted store

Yes you should definately get permission. You must also keep all the permission given/ permited as a prove in black and white to avoid or prevent yourself from any trouble.

I'm not the best at explaining but you should ask for permission in using anything that isn't originally yours. There really are some cases where companies/brands would sue you for doing so, especially if you're making money out of it. If it's just for personal use with no money involved, it should be fine.
