I Was Wrong

So... I thought I'd have more time once I got settled in and that I might have more motivation once I'd gotten into the routine.

Apparently I was mistaken.

I think this time crunch madness is mostly just the moving pains of switching jobs/locations/familiar everything and into something new where I honestly don't know what to expect, but until then, I've had far less time and motivation than I hoped.

Today is my first and only day off this week and I've got other things to take care of (registration, bank account, shopping) because I had the joy of moving in during a national holiday where everything was closed! Yay...

That being said, I do hope to have some time today and I really hope to be a better presence here in the near future. Once things have settled down and I have a better grasp of the routine (and have finally furnished my apartment - seriously, my nearest shop is about a 15 to 30 minute walk, depending on what I'm looking for, and I don't have alternate transportation which means no heavy or large loads), I'm hoping to get back into my groove and writing and posting again. I've got a couple oneshot/short fic contests I intend on finishing ASAP, but longer works may be a bit challenging at the moment. >.> I've also got a backlog of things to comment on (I read them on the train ride to Tokyo for more training but I very much dislike trying to comment on my phone) and I hope to tackle those today!

While this isn't a very important post, I at least wanted to update those who might be interested on my relative lack of participation and/or absence. It's been a little crazy on this side. O.o

**On a side note, I discovered I can/might be one of those people that have the talent of tripping over air (or maybe my pant leg - I'm not entirely sure) while walking up stairs. That was interesting. :/ lol

Its okay! Take your time settling in and enjoy the process! We ain't going away anytime soon and will still be here whenever you return! haha. Everything sounds exciting, while troublesome, i have always liked hearing about story of changes (hopefully i could experience it myself someday). Hope you settle in nicely soon enough! Where in Japan are you settling in now? The last post of yours i remembered reading about is you teaching in China and wanting to move to Japan because that's where its most compatible with you soul... or did i remember wrongly? Sorry if i did. hahahaha. Anyway, congratulations on moving to your dream city!! I have always wanted to visit japan for months long kind of trip too... *daydreams* Still studying now so that's kind of not achievable for now. hahaha.

/blushes/ i have a talent for tripping over flat grounds.......... i always get laughed at by my friends. i (minor) sprained my ankle like twice before because of it. hahahahahhaa.
